Yes,people saying they never experienced this sound bug are blatant liars.Its a well known issue,some reported that putting the sound quality to just below highest or medium can help,also changing the mixing buffer to stable.I also had this quite alot at jormag events or a heavy wvw zerg.

So,being afk,casting the same skill over and over every 20 seconds,while not behind your keyboard is allowed ? If you absolutely have to stay ingame for whatever reason possible while being afk,cant you atleast find a quiet place with no people near instead of in the middle of la where everyone can be annoyed by the for great justice loop every 20 seconds ? I think its ridiculous,and very annoying on top of it.

I honestly dont care,you payed 100gold,its your money,its your title,you do with it whatever you please.yes it can be annoying at times when seeing 3 or 4 in one map ( doesnt happen to often ) but still,100 gold,his choise.

Actually, on a related note, there was one occasion where somebody suddenly appeared in the LA Bank and immediately died. Out of instinct I started ressing them (as did a few other players), but then the player vanished (unsure whether they waypointed or just logged out). I sometimes see other players just mysteriously appear dead near me, but I always thought it was a combination of people falling to their deaths from above and culling. The death in the Bank though, I can’t figure out how it happened.

Somebody said in chat that the person who died in the Bank and then vanished had to be a bot using a teleport hack, and not to res people who died in similar manners, but I’d like to gather more information about it if I can.

same thing,i see people dying next to me wherever i go and quickly dissapearing as well,the thing is ,those are places where you can’t be killed nor kill yourself.Like close to the bank in LA or whatever place somewhere Inside a building.I think the game is filled with hackers,we just don’t really realize it yet.

Yep,def works,have core parking disabled since win 7 launch actually.Haven’t tested the diff for gw2 honestly but i always have corepark disabled without negative side effects,and like someone else stated in some games you can really tell theres less micro stuttering involved.

Remove ALL your drivers,including mobo,audio,ethernet,everything,make a complete uninstall and reinstall of all of your current drivers with the appropiate reboots in between and use ccleaner + driversweeper afterwards to make sure there are no left overs.

True,in all honesty i think warrior ( no matter what alot of people say,without even trying the class out..or base their opinion solely from pve ) is one of the hardest classes to master.You can’t just stand around being invulnerable for a minute or regain your hp to full every 5 seconds or have a constant retaliation or go invis whenever you like or teleport out of there when it gets too hot or put up some clones or illusions,matter a fact warrios dont have alot of anything and right now they have it the hardest in pvp.

Anyway,OP your colours are looking a bitt off to me,the Blue is too dark in comparison to the matte colour.I dont know what colours you see and wich you dont,but do you also realize that since your a pvp char only you do not even notice the colour changes you made because when playing pvp you all have the same colour, aka red/blue ? Or do you go wvwvw aswell ? Anyway,if you try to accomplish a sort of look wich can be hard when being colourblind offcs,i will be gladly to help you in finding the right dyes for your char.

Not added because of clipping issues, which I find is a pretty stupid reason since armor clips with almost every weapon when they’re sheathed.

Every shield clips though my back ( norn ) , GS clips through my back + cape from the t3 norn armor,Hammer clips through,hell..Everything im wearing clips through my armor or my cape from the t3 set.

Targetting needs to be redone all over imo,its just crap.I always target pets or illusions first,or even better..enemys Further away then the nearest ( im no clicker,and shouldnt need to click to select a target,i tab like in every mmo,here it just works like crap ).And yes my targetting settings are set “correct” ive tried messing with it but it never gets any better.Also a Name colour change for gods sake when youve targeted someone.Seriously though,i stil llove gw but imo it has the worst targetting system from Any mmo i played,gw1 target system was also hell of a lot better.

Putting your sound quality to just below Highest quality can solve this problem.So put it to Medium – High,you wont notice a difference in sound anyways.It fixed it for me atleast.

I can live with the downed state,although i must say its not my favorite system.Imo a player ive “killed” should stay dead,the downed state can be really annoying at some times,espec in heavy wvwvw.So many times where i was unable to “finish” a player just because he goes invis,teleports,straight up dc when downed ( happens Alot in wvwvw ),or i get ganked suddenly and the downed player still lives because i was unable to finish.Like i said..i can live with it,but honestly i dont like the downed state at all.Not even when i’m downed,and im able to get back up and kill the player that just downed me,i think it’;s wrong.

It appears to be a side-effect of how the client loads models. Sometimes it takes ages for the model to load, so they appear invisible.

Yes it certainly looks like to be this issue,but i also have to say that i do not experience this with all thief encounters for some reason.Its just that i made this thread because it happend in wvwvw today again while i was 1vs1,no other people around but me and him,fps was fine,had no latency lag aswell so that wouldn’t be the case is my guess.

Thiefs being able to attack in stealth not being able to be targeted or seen,think it says enough and it starts to be come a real annoyance,people purposely abuse it now.Needs to be fixed,they can be in constant stealth while being able to attack you and yourself not being able to a thing back but blindly start hitting air in the hopes you hit him,yeah awesome.

well like in LA or if im with some huge group my fps drops down to like 10 and below but like around unpopulated areas im around in the 20s and my setting on GW2 everything is on high but like AA, reflection, shadows, shaders not sure what else are like turned off to medium also i just overclock my cpu up the 4.3ghz havent tested it out yet

Same cpu but at 4.8ghz, with 2x 560ti’s,im honestly running the game flawless, 80 + fps in wvwvw,when it gets Really busy it drops to about 30 – 40.Everything maxed out,just shadows on high not ultra since its uberbuggy.If you’re gonna oc,make sure you got some proper cooling and you know what youre doing,i suggest going to overclock.net and join the huge Amd oc topic to get the best perf out of your cpu.

I agree,it’s messed up beyond recoginition.I always end up targeting Turrets,or Pets,or Minions,or Illusions First ( you can say then Click your target,No,i dont want to Click my target i want to Properly select my target wihile switching with a key between them )…Whats the freaking point of this besides annoying me a great deal and being unable to select a proper target most of the time because of this. Second of all,this game has no joystick support.

An island filled with nothing but the same mobs,yeah great fun.This is why i don’t come there,no variety at all,fight 1 will be the same as fight 1000.

Shadow pls dont post about OC’ing if you no nothing about it. OC’ing if done sensibly and right does not lower the CPU’s lifespan, even when you do go far enough to lower its lifespan its still not going below 4 years…most people replace their cpu after 4 if they are running a gaming rig anyway.

The only cpu’s that pop within 4 years are the ones used for Suicide bechmarks..hence the name :P

high end cpu’s are not getting the performance they deserve, but what they get is far more playable than running stock, old and slow cpu’s. So there is nothing wrong with my advice.

When i say go Intel for playable FPS, my idea of playable and your own may be totaly different. Also when i say WvWvW ..i dont mean 30 man fights ..i mean 100 man fights.

Still didnt change anything to what ive said.I know the benches,dont really care for them either since their not done on AMD oc’s.AMD is made to be oc’d,period.Perf of a fx8120 factory is crap,Oc’d its a beast( Mind you i went easily from 3.1 ghz to 4.8 with a simple h100 cooler and my cpu does not exceed 52c ,Ever ) .But people just judge from poor benches and reviews and intel always being hyped by everyone,and mindless sheep copying whatever people say about whatever cpu without knowing jackkitten about them.I rather judge from real life experiences,thats it basically.Most dont judge from real world experiences but these benches or what others have to say about a cpu without having tested them self.I know i beat more intels then i would lose to them with this cpu.Have you seen the vid on youtube intel core i7 980x VS AMD FX-8150,or the benches done ( the thing where you judge all your beliefs on ? ) I doubt it.And even when seeing it ,you will still deny it.

I honestly think it would help by removing the forum name attached to ingame player names.Also the need to own two seperate passwords,one for the game and one for the forum.
