They used to be dropping at jormag event,untill people said this on the forums,that its a great way to farm then,and anet noticed this and thus making the jormag event totally useless to be even participating in ever again.
Yeah, it’s really annoying trying to fight the invisible man/woman… wish they could fix the issue already – it should be priority number 1.
If they cannot fix it, then they need to quickly increase stealth cooldowns significantly. I know several people leaving the game because of thieves effectively getting perma stealth iin wvwvw,
I atleast know some that are taking a break because this issue,imo its a exploit being abused Heavily,they also feel that way and thus taking a break untill the culling issue is fixed,i can understad it honestly.Its just that i like gw2 to much to be taking a break over this,fixing this needs to be indeed priority 1,but i dont think its that easy to fix..
I disagree aswell,stopped reading halfway actually since i think most of it is bullocks.I do think the story should have been more interesting atleast,i wanted to feel like a hero,not that green little tree hugger stealing away my moment.Zhaithan fight is just a mess sorry to say,just not fun at all.And the only class balance issue i have are thieves,obviously they need to be reworked, the stealthing is getting insane,since everybody is now running around with perm stealth builds,they cant be hit while being invis,are invis 99% of the time,and also cannot be targetted,and for you even know your getting hit youve lost about 50 – 75% of your life without even realizing you were attacked,and while they Do appear they have full hp,and are gone again. Fix..Thieves.. and the rendering issue,my only 2 major concerns atm since these are game breaking issues imo.
I understand the OP though because they Know it,i get down and i just run bak and do the same thing over and over an over because there is no way in hell their able to kill me off.While other classes all struggle with this and are unable to do this,thieves maybe.Warriors ? insta death.
After playing Gw2 for some months almost all my friends leaved the game and maybe arenanet can take this as a feedback on why so many people stopped playing this amazing game, the reason is balance, the balance on pvp. Currently there is a huge problem with one profession that is making the wvwvw to become a thiefvthiefvthief , all of my friends got sick of getting killed by 2 or 3 hits by an stealth thief who keep stealth for a lot of time even if already hitted you and what is worse killing you stealth while someone is resurrecting you. The other day we went to puzzle and 2 thiefs killed 6 of us because they was hitting stealth almost the whole combat and they hit hard.
Please dont take this only as b.hurt as it is not only the reason of why I am posting this today (never post on forums because I like to play and not to write) but also to take this as feedback on why a lot of people is leaving to other games even when I consider this one of the best games I ever played.
Hope arenanet do something about this.
I do agree with this post,something must be done about thieves,fighting an unseen enemy whos able to attack you while being
invis and unable to be targetted or even to be hit…Is a big Flaw in the game imo.Ive seen countless of thieves downing players with ease in Stealth + Attacking, and then finishing Also in stealth…Espec the people that Know about the rendering delay and use it to their advantage being invisible 99% of the time,sorry but if i want to play Vs unseen enemys il play some Ghostbusters.
I dont cre about much else,but not working on the only real end game content you have ( wvwvw ) is not a good thing At all.YOu must keep this interesting for players to keep on playing,you mut continue to work on it,change it and improve it.If this will not happen kittenloads of people Will leave,trust me on this.And no im normally not a negative person At all.But leaving wvwvw where it stands now will be crushing for gw2.
For one,i think we need to KEEP ownership of sieges when logging out.yesterday i put up a treb in SM and right after i got disconnected,i logged back and there was this guy using it now and i couldnt take it back since i lost ownership due to crashing..And he didnt want to give it back but thought it was fun to shoot random cows..while a tower needed to be hit.Pretty annoying and i lost S because of this guy,if i keep my ownership there is no problem.
So All three things combined will result in horrible performance in GW2.
Those scores are pretty much unrelated as hell,anyway,Its just time to upgrade your system.9400 is getting pretty old and was already a low end card in its prime time,,and 2 gb is barely enough to even run gw2 since it takes up about 2.8gb max on my system.
I’m 800 hours in, have yet to find any grind that I’m forced to do.
It’s all a paranoia of people who’ve been ruined by traditional MMO into thinking every game is a grind.
Those people see basically anything that requires more than moving one finger as a grind, there is little we can say to help them.

So a whole posts about loot and grinding ? I honestly still have to find this grind,since i also played many mmo’s,also f2p’s,also aion ( most grindy game Ever created ).When i compare gw2 to these games i played…there is Zero grind in gw2.It sounds more like “I want everything handed to me,and want to earn alot of gold in a quick way”,and since this is not happening for you,your not liking the game and compare it with a f2p…Allriiighty.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s good CPU for ppl who use a lot of stuff on pc like video decoding, rendering etc.
It’s still not gaming CPU – due to low single core performance.
It’s ment to be compared to i5-3570k as AMD stated.
The difference is that i5 oc’d to 4/4.5 ghz gets 45 stable fps in massive WvW ( over 60++ ppl ). while yours dips to 17.
And price difference isn’t so big.
So yes overall if u want a CPU that will last for few years get i5 or wait till early summer for new AMD cpu structure.
Trust me cause I had myself a hard time with chosing i3-3220 vs amd fx 6300 ( which is 6 core brother of 8350 ) and im glad i took i3 :>
Completely False,An i5 stays stable in heavy zerg ? How full can you be with yourself ? Take a look at the forums already and see many people dipping below 20’s with those cpu’s.If you see that the op is recommending a cpu then why in hell are you even trying to consider to talk it down ? How can you even say its not a gaming cpu,when it clearly is ,and they are Made for gaming most if all,also made to be oc’d,i also play all current games lag free FX8120 – 4.8,and from what ive seen with a better fps then alot of intels,I honestly do not understand you people,you have no clue whatsoever and just judge by reading online,and sheeping along with other people giving misleading info.Its alot oftalk without ever backing Anything up ,everyone just has to believe your word for a fact,like most of you do.

Its called killing of mobs that kill the npcs that shoot at the dragon…and they wont shoot at the dragon when their down,it will take a much longer time,learn to realize something like this before starting to call people leechers.And people Do come here for the loot,you want to say that you come there to look at a pwetty dwagon ?
Yep,they basically stopped dropping anything usefull,id like to come there but now its not really worth it.honestly it was a great way to earn a bit of extra while having some fun,but if the mobs i kill do not drop anything,then why should i bother actually ? Jormag event will be pretty dead now when more people will realize this.Especially peple at night wont even bother anymore since its takes too long with such few people and the chest with a few blues and greens is honestly not worth it.
Caedmon. I dont fanboy anything. I run purly from stats. Most AMD cpu’s cannot handle proper WvW battles wihtout droping below 30fps. There is plenty of evidence on this forum ..form benchmarks ..and other games to support that AMD processors cant manage some of the heavily single threaded processes that some games have. Like for example GW2, and MechWarrior Online (to lesser extent). Dont get me wrong u can still play, but u wil lend up being bottlenecked below the 30 fps threshold.
If your so intent on on using the ‘fanboy’ argument then please feel free to post a vid of ur AMD cpu via a monitoring program and u in WvW in a large battle staying above 30 fps.. and ill gladly recommend ur CPU and its OC.
And i can say the same about intel,like i said do a forum search for people with intels that should have much higher perf,but playing like crap.Many intel posts about this,now i do also see many AMD users having said other then you are saying right now,and are playing perfectly fine.Its just that your AMD sucks and Intel is the way to go mentality on every thread is kinda crap and based on false judgements since i talk from experience and know im running the game flawlessly.I also do not find the need to make a vid specially for you just to show my fps,dude seriously you just dont have a clue if you want this kind of proof,do you ?

Last stament is wrong,AMD can run this game fine,also in wvwv,its more of an intelfanboy statement then anything else.Running in wvwvw with 80fps+ easily,lowest drop is about 30 in a really heavy zerg.Some people just dont know what their talking about since they dont even own an AMD.Honestly you can get the same perf of a 300$ stock intel with ocing a 150$ amd cpu,but whatever.
if im wrong,please do a nice search in this Forum for “Intel Low Fps”,and then also see the people with AMD saying their playing the game just fine.Anyway,goodluck with whatever your buying,just stop people from trying to mislead you with fanboyism.

Can we have a solo versions of all the standard dungeons? It is pitiful to sit for hours asking for a party just to have impatient people ruin it every 5 mins by leaving. I dont care if the rewards are like halved or something i just want to beable to go run a dungeon and get SOMETHING out of my hours of sitting and asking people who wont wait for a party to form.

Fractals is just another thing to do in gw2,nobody forces you to grind it,nobody forces you to do it 24/7,and nobody is forcing you to stand in LA spamming lfg for an hour aswell.You do fractals when you feel like doing it,its just More content to have fun with.Cant understand people complaining about this though,honestly.

Because warriors,in your opinion..are too op because of one skill they have ? id you ever play with one btw ? Warriors can say the same about most,if not all other classes since were basically being forced to play in a certain way because most others arent effective at all,hence you see many people running around with thesame kind of build,weap of choise.

Yes, IRL snow is blinding to look at (much like other white surfaces strongly illuminated by the sun) … but we’re talking about a stylized, artistic reality in a virtual world created for comfort, entertainment and fun. Being blinded by excessive amounts of bloom is not comfortable and it is not fun … (just like being deafened by virtual canon fire wouldn’t be fun).
Games are meant to delight the senses, not strain it to the point of pain.
I disagree,you never went to hoelbrak btw ? I mean..theres snow everywhere…its the same kinda snow aswell..you know,the blinding kinda type.Maybe try to mess a bit with your contrast,gamma or simply install sweetfx to tone down the blooming if it really bothers you that much.

Im talking about the Stealth Rendering Issue,where thieves in stealth remain Longer in stealth and able to attack while being in stealth and being unable to be targetted,people know this,thieves know this,and abuse it with a perm stealth build.
It would be nice to team up with a friend and then join the game together,or maybe a tvt variant ? Playing it with people you know would indeed be more fun offc. But i doubt this is gonna happen,no time to implement i guess,even if they wanted to.
I’m very disappointed in the event for this reason… I bought $30 in gems to buy the random gift boxes in the store. It tells me I can get skins, minis, and other items. I open my 30 boxes and what do I up with? Two flying golem minis (account bound, so I can’t trade one for another holiday mini, like the quaggan), a bunch of useless elixirs, holiday costume brawls mortars (more useless than the elixirs), and a small amount of ugly sweaters I can get every where. I love Christmas holiday stuff normally and was very excited about this one. But for $30 I expected WAY MORE! I would of rather bought the minis as a pack! Where is the food recipes? Gingerbread cookies, fruit cake, etc…. Where is the armor skins or armor sets like Mad King had? Maybe armor and food recipes are there and I don’t see them, so don’t blast me for it. I also paid more money for a longbow skin (finally something worth it). The random boxes ripped me off, hands down. I’m out $30 and nothing to show for it, except my 2 golem minis. I feel ripped off, where is my skins/minis?! Personally I’d like to return all that garbage and Anet send me something worth $30!
You got a golem mini,why complain ? You do understand,boxes are Gambling right,there is no way in hell that whenever you spent an XX amount of $$ you are Sure to get the item you want,its common knowledge sorry to say.
I wonder, how ppl who worked on Wintersday feel after reading posts like this. Maybe they think like, why would we even try to do something like this again, if all those greedy kids are doing is complaining and kittening about every single stupid little thing, over and over again. Just thought we should start a feedback thread so we can tell ANet what we liked/didn’t like about the new jumping puzzle and suggestions for future jumping puzzles because I have seen multiple threads about this for very specific parts of them.
First off, I like the timed jumping puzzles.
It makes them more intense to get them right as fast as possible.
I also like constant freeze damage so you cant just take it nice and slow so you have to run it literally for your life.
I will say that it wasn’t as hard as the Mad King Clock Tower so ANet, MAKE THEM HARDER!!!!
Something I can complete in 5mins is not hard enough
Don’t listen to the people who say they are too hard. They are just not putting in the time or effort and solely want the rewards for it so they can get their weapon/armor skins.
For me, the challenge is a big part of the reward.
So in short from me, Harder Jumping Puzzle = Better Jumping Puzzle.
I think its difficult enough,not everyone is this good at jumping puzzles,remember this.It already can be quite hard for some people,you have to think about these people aswell.Not only the people that want everything on insane mode.Clocktower people complained it was to difficult,now they complain its to easy ? Come one…
I agree the mouse is alot of times kinda invisible due to all the effects going in,it needs to be a bit darker…Also ,Again,please a change of colour for the target we’ve selecter,i know you cn come up with something different then red..
Yeah it is an awefull design,thieves are the only class running freely in wvwvw downing players with ease,the stealth rendering issue also doesn’t help with this..attacking while in stealth,not being able to target him for about 3 sec after gives him just another 3 sec of stealth while hes able to hit someone.Alot of people know this,and purposely abuse this “exploit”.
No idea tbh,but are you sure about this ? I honestly couldnt ever go back with having used razer naga with 12 buttons on the side,for an mmo its godlike to be using.Just saying,i also think its a bit pricey for what it’s capable of,but if you just want the mouse for the looks then go for it because it does look nice.Also are you able to select the DPi of this mouse personally or is it stuck at 5670 ? Dont get mistaken about the speed,higher is not always better,i honestly cannot play a fps with a DPI at 5670,i even lower mine to about 1800 – 2000 in most games.
The animation of my norn holding a greatsword is just awefull sorry to say.i honestly wish they would improve this.Im this Huge bulky guy carrying a greatsword like i have no clue what to do with it.It would be so awesome if he would have an animation where he just stands up Straight ( not like an old man as im doing now ) and holds his greatsword over his shoulder or occasionly putting the gs on the ground with the tip down and one hand on the swordhilt just leaning on it.
Just because you can read it can help fix your game ( wich i doubt ) i have 2x gtx560 ti and no problems with this game honestly.Just be carefull with overvolting your gpu they are not as tough as cpu’s when it comes to this and the slightest overvolt can cause pixelation on your sceen ( I talk from experience lol ). Just be really carefull ,i honestly am not gonna bother again with this,ever,each gpu even from the same series can react totally different on this.Cpu’s are a totally different story though.
