SoS, FA and DB lack NA coverage, but have some great guilds that’re very passionate about WvW. You can’t go wrong with any of those servers.

Consider SoS, DB and FA.

Each of these servers have relatively low NA population, but passionate native guilds that keep fighting irrespective of the odds.

If you’re looking for a strong NA, go for Maguuma (gasp!). They have coverage during your times, have a passionate WvW community, but no coverage otherwise.

Because they run away from even-numbered fights

What’s with the ME obsession in this thread? They’re a good group of players, but I’ve never seen them singled out like this before.

It’s interesting how our best four or five guilds fill out a spectrum between extreme bowling ball and extreme kite. We all converse and borrow builds and ideas from each other, but our comps will always be different and we’ll always play differently.

Because they are the only ones who come out to fight in open field. And when they’re out, other mag guilds also grow some spine, and come out. Every other guild on Mags runs away from even even-numbered fights. Fact.

Mags would do well to learn from [ME].

I’m usually in a zerg. Unlike many here, I don’t claim to be what I’m not.

But given the time I’ve spent in WvW without seeing a single PYRO/DARP roamer, I can say with certainty that they don’t exist. Either that, or those mythical roamers have been really successful in avoiding me.

This is simply not true, ME prefers open field but we have many other guilds that will not hesitate to engage open-field DRP and PYRO are the first in my mind. The big question for me, and I imagine others have thought about this is how would these guilds do AGAINST each other. We will never find out because they are loyal to Maguuma to the bitter end.

There is another problem… you won’t find any guilds willing to fight in open.

All mag guilds I’ve faced have been running away despite the fact that we’re all running uplevels this week. DFND, PYRO, DORP, and other inconsequential guilds have all been regularly showing their backs to our uplevels. I suggest you guys stay on Maguuma… it’s not fun to play against Mags. At least you avoid those guilds by staying on that server.

Deny all you will, fact remains that large mag guilds stop doing WvW when they’re losing. The PPT tells the story… Yak’s are doing an admirable job, and may even overtake Mags.

I feel for people on that server, and a handful of good guilds that still keep fighting despite the odds. I wonder how they put up with fairweather guilds such as DORP and PYRO.

We lost everything in EB so PYRO left DBBL and went to EB and took it all back and then we moved to MAG and lost everything. Yuuup.

A better guild (like ME) would have divided those numbers are have tried to hold a few key keeps. It’s not hard, given your proficiency at siege.

Stop trolling each other, you two Skills are pretty much even across servers and tiers. There’s nothing to brag/complain about.

That said, I do remember chasing KOME twice when they avoided engaging. The first time they were slightly outnumbered, but nothing that an organized guild should run from. The second time we had lesser numbers, but I think that group was committed to getting to garrison which had orange swords.

Anyway, this matchup is boring due to difference in numbers and coverage. I’d love to fight TC/FA next.

I guess GOAT will soon find that that swag is just limited to forums. Besides ME, that entire server consists of low-skilled fairweathers and inconsequential guilds.

Worse gameplay? TC by a mile. I thought DB was kind of mediocre but after a night of TC my opinion has gone up quite a bit. On the other hand, TC seems to actually come out in the open and fight instead of hiding behind the nearest tower that contains a bevy of arrow carts.
