As said earlier, the major guilds on JQ do not GvG.

So BG guys were right… JQ is all numbers, it seems.

Talk about PPT all you want, but in terms of sheer ability, Mags have the best guilds in this matchup. D|ERP + ME > EMP + HzH.

And as for tier, maybe they have the numbers, but JQ is too squishy to be T1. I’d like to see a JQ v TC before we come to a conclusion.

Well this should be pretty easy for DB… seeing as how they got smashed by a not-yet-dead JQ and even lost 2nd to FA. I expect all their fairweathers to be out in force and not quit on their server this time around.

Fairweathers are actually complaining that established guilds take up map slots.

Our thread got to page 3 while remaining moderately civilized and good-hearted. I got my hopes up for this week’s potential camaraderie. What on earth happened! >.<

I was hoping to have a nice repeat of last weeks forums with FA and TC was nice not reading through 20 posts of forum sniping.

Overall good fights this week, sorry there is such large coverage gaps if not I could see this being much closer match, oh well can’t force people to play where they don’t want to (just ask JQs EU guilds….).

[NS] Night Shift is really happy this week, tons of awesome fights against both FA and JQ, DB is getting better in the field and not going downhill at all, if any FA and JQ guilds think otherwise, just find us in the field, we have 16 to 24 max daily and we WILL jump into any zergs regardless of size. Yes you were, and your enthusiam in wanting to play against T1 servers showed the way DB came out swinging and took the lead right off the getgoat. Kudos to everyone at DB. I hope there will be many more matchups in the future like this involving T1 servers with T2s to keep WvW fresh and interesting for everyone.

You guys at DB have shown a great attitude the whole week even when you knew you would most likely end up in 3rd for this week. A real classy example we all can learn from.

One last thing. You guys came on strong last night holding onto Bay at SoRBL against us during SEA hours. Were some really good fights, and I died to you guys a few times too trying to cap it. Thanks for the battles, was really fun. Dunno who owns Bay now but hope you guys keep it until reset.

Overall it’s been a pleasure this week for Blackgate to play with Dragonbrand.

Oh, Coron drops plenty of bags. He was once on DB, and so was Tsym. And we also faced them a few months back in SoS. They drop plenty. Not to say that they’re not good, because they are. But they’re not among the top three guilds we’ve fought against.

In the last hour on DBBL I have intentionally solo fought a group of four mags taking camps twice. I lost but I fought. I have also while solo fought and beat two other mag solo roamers.

I think the problem here is that those mags who are active on the forums never solo roam, and they are upset that they cannot kill solo roamers in their 4-man groups because the solo roamers don’t engage. In fact the general sentiment seems to be anger due to not ever having a fight in which they do not have overwhelming odds. What’s up with that?

Nah, I prefer playing for WvW-centric guilds that enjoy open-field battles, and don’t rely on siege (eg. ME, BP, BURN etc.)

PYRO/DARPs don’t fit my criteria. I don’t want to do PvE every time we draw a T2 server.

In WvW. Check with some of the WvW-centric guilds on your server and they’ll help you log into one of the WvW maps. Careful, it’s an unforgiving place, unlike PvE.

If ever someone say that DB is tier 2 and we owned because the other servers are tier X, he is an idiot. This is total BS. We got owned yesterday and today.

Yesterday we couldn’t even get out of our portal without getting killed in Eternal Battlegrounds for hours. And today (a few hours ago), our own borderland was run by Maguuma. They had even bigger zerg than us. We had at one point 5 commanders and they were all wiped like insects. We lost almost every structure on OUR borderland. They also had a small team: 2 mesmers, a thief who owned me (see my previous post), a necro, and an elementalist who took over Dreadfall Bay. The only reason why we are still tier 2 is because the other 2 servers are not playing 100% of the time. For example, their entire zerg left us to clean their mess after taking our garrison.

I think this is because a lot of DB folks are running up-leveled characters because the match is already won. In addition, Mags are out in full strength because they’re not being annihilated by our guilds anymore.

At full strength, Mags NA has much larger numbers than ours anyway. It’s too bad that they can’t have the same impact as our SEA players have with similar numbers. It might be because our NA guilds fight hard to defend during our weak NA prime time… at times, we just try to deny spawn points to opposing servers. Same numbers, different outcome.
