But if you have two Zerker builds that can’t kill each other because of insane sustain from various traits then something is pretty broken. I can understand stalemates when you have two Bunkers duking it out, but Berserkers? I don’t think that’s ok.

Thats actually called balanced, if you both specced for defensive skills (and no a full zerk warrior doesnt get adrenal which btw is quite a op trait for its low requirement) and duked it out, properly using skills, you were probably of equal skill and thus in a tie.

Maybe it was your party makeup. Or synergy between your builds. I often run 49 with pugs under an hour, sometimes without a single death. And yet, there was a known group on 38 a few days back where all of us just kept dying despite having two guardians in the group. It happens.

Well, yes? The whole idea behind gear progression in GW2 is based on that assumption. Without it, there would be no point in even introducing different stat tiers, because (as some people proved) every content in this game can be done in blues.
Also, while not strictly necessary, Ascended stat advantage is significant enough that it helps. You could as well claim, that there’s no reason to want zerker stats, because you can dps in Giver’s.

You don’t need ascended in about the same way you don’t need anything else in this game. Including needing to even play it.

You obviously don’t do PvP. And for a PvE-er, I feel for you. Whatever happened to smelling the flowers, and enjoying your game. Must be hard to have a non-paying job outside your daily job (or studies, or both).

Guardian is strong in PvP, WvW, and PvE/Dungeons. But the playstyle becomes stale after a while.

Engis are awesome at PvP, as many above have mentioned, and pretty decent in other game modes. They’re the most fun class to play in the game, in my opinion.

Dual-classing (like GW1)

This is a great initiative! I’d like to enroll as a student

I’m returning to GW2 after a 8-month hiatus, and am looking to do dungeons & fractal runs with my Guardian and Elementalist. I’d done most of the content (all dungeons except Arah, fractals upto lvl38) on my Warrior, but the meta has shifted since. Also, when I do the same content on my Guardian, I feel like I’m not contributing as much as I should. It’d be nice to learn from the masters, and hopefully also help out nubs like me afterwards.

No. This is the week AGG shows how arrogant they are. They decided to play games with the Db teamspeak so they have gotten called out on using underhanded tactics.

Specifically they tried to overpower Warsocks commands when he was wiping AGG all over the map. This has happened more than once.

Then they lost a gvg to ep because they didnt have enough Hammers or access to ep voice comms. So they then quit 15v15 GvG.

I think that sums it up. They dont deserve the respect off the battlefield that they have earned on the battlefield because of their leaders actions.

I hereby confer the title of loot “bAgg” on the erstwhile honorable guild. Credit to Lord Eithinan for coining that.

You can’t run the same comp from one weight to the other, it’ll just get destroyed. We played 10v10 15v15 and 20v20 and out of the 3 we prefer 20v20. It is not like we have never lost in 20v20, [TW] is living proof that we are in fact not unbeatable in 20v20.
We also find more excitement in 20v20 than in 15v15. It might be just us, but that is what we prefer, along with the other reasons listed above.
10v10 < Least fun, boring in our personal opinion
15v15 < It is okay, but definitely not the excitement we are looking for
