There should be a required tutorial for new pvpers, and the tutorial should be account checked as in once you complete the tutorial, it remembers your account so you don’t have to revisit if you don’t want to. So many times I’ve been stuck in a match and two or three players go “so im new to this lol” and we get torn up and it makes me want to stay away from pvp

Hats and hoods that come with preset hairstyles, like a headband that comes with a long French braid, a hood that comes with a side ponytail or braid, a hat that comes with a bob cut or a gentlemens hat that shows a clean cut. My point being: NO MORE BALDING

New emotes that we can “/ ____” and not worry about the gem store
Gw1 had tons of emotes that you didn’t have to buy to enjoy. “/violin” my personal favorite other than the female necro thriller dance.

Bug-themed items like bumblebee wings glider/ backpack

I feel like eles are being pushed far back into the “support or bust” build before the april 15th patch that made celestial ele viable.

You get a good ele playing a build people call for nerfs. You have the same good ele playing a support build, people say its too much cleanse because “heavens forbid” someone actually knows how to rotate an ele.

I guess all eles should just stand there, do nothing and let people beat up on them for free points and I guarantee people will STILL cry for nerfs.

Items that give you hair, Like hoods that actually give you a GOOD preset hair. Kind of like how the dwayna outfit did, it gave you a preset hair with the headpiece. Do more of that anet- just make pretty hairs!

More hairstyles -NOT COLORS-
Better face styles, more variety in racial faces when it comes to humans and norns. crooked noses, moles- all of that because almost 98% of the faces look western/european -NOT RESKINS OF ALREADY EXISTING FACES, unless you plan on doing better jobs in the makeup department because red lipstick isn’t the only color that can go on a pair of lips.

Different body types, more fat, more thin.

TL;DR – Hoods/Hats that give preset hairs that look great and no more balding
More/ better/ racial face options (gw1 had it, why not gw2?)
More body types
More hairstyles

If meteor shower or fire ele radius is nerfed then everything else that involves a radius boost with every other class should be nerfed as well

It originally only existed in the Arcana trait line to make radius larger
There are other classes that had the same trait, so all classes that automatically have had an increase in radius with skills- take that away as well

Meteor shower can only hit 5 people, you see the AoE ring
It’s not hard to dodge

Hats/hoods with premade hairstyles that keep the color of your characters original hair.
No more of this balding crap.

I’d really like an active/fullyupgraded guild. One so active guild missions are constantly successful and the guild hall is fully upgraded (or atleast has the guild armorer with the new stuff)
And active/nice helpful players.
It’s all I ask.

I want that more than I do my Deathly Avian Mantle (bc mine was never successfully transmuted during wardrobe change, along with a few other skins which I was able to regain except deathly avian mantle)

More gw1 outfits (more gwen outfits) Ritualist outfits! from gw1 – Dervish too and don’t give them that weird lighting for once… you know what I mean anet. Compare the pirate outfit to gwens outfit- the pirate outfit looks more natural with no odd lighting while the gwen outfit seems to be illuminated in an odd fashion. This also goes for the other recently released outfits.

Add the Deathly Mantle skins back – There are too few and too high priced. I’d pay 200 gems (not 600 gold) just to have my Deathly Avian Mantle back :’(

I was never able to recover my Avian Mantle after the wardrobe change (I had the mantle equipped during the wardrobe change but for some reason it was never added to my locker so I lost it forever, along with an HoM skin but I was able to recover that by just revisiting the HoM)

Well, eles do feel like they’re being pushed back into the ‘support only’ corner once again
No point in trying to defend them because I doubt they’ll ever be as bad as they were before april 15th patch or as good as they were post april 15th- they’ll be lingering supports that bore you to death

People don’t do dungeons hardly anymore thanks to PvP dungeon tracks, and the dungeon nerf- I’m sure it’s an attempt to make everyone forget about dungeons so Gw2 can become the next LoL

I don’t have a problem with anet bringing back the old pvp armors- but noone seems to remember that you weren’t guaranteed to get the tribal armor, and you could only obtain the wolf tokens while in wolf rank so once you were no longer wolf rank, no tribal armor. That is if you were lucky enough to even get what you wanted from the mystic forge. Which made it more prestiged in a way. So it needs to stay that way. No handouts.

How about more PvE love, Update the dungeons from AC-Arah
Give actual nonlinear tasks in dungeons like “you can kill this boss for a chance at this item or you don’t have to and skip to the end boss after going through this puzzle etc”

I thought Gw2 wasn’t going in the ESL direction because it’s such a PvE play it your way type game, it’s not a LoL or smite

Hopefully 2016 will be more like gw2 launch, all the hype and excitement exploring new things (but without all the bugs)

You should have seen eles before the APril 15th update- I joke! because noone played eles before April 15th update.

Eles have been forced back into the “support” corner. Don’t be so quick to grab your pitchfork and torch and scream OP because you met a decent support ele.

HoT wasn’t an expansion, it was just normal 15.00 worth of DLC

Bring old Gw1 armors- Dervish, Ritualists- Give us old Gw1 character hairstyles!
I’d love to have Eve’s hair
Or a dervish hair, or ritualists hair

As long as they make them near impossible to get, I have no problem with them coming back.

It’s great that the armors are prestiged in some way- Yes the tribal armor was a Wolf rank, but earning XP is so much easier now & you are actually guaranteed a decent reward, where as before all the PvP changes, you were not.
You hardly got XP from losses and in order to get a decent amount of XP for pvp rank you needed pvp boosters, and to actually win.
Once you got the “wolf” tokens from finally reaching wolf rank, you turned in the tokens and could throw them in the mystic forge and maybe, just maybe you’d get the tribal armor.

So, hopefully there will be no handouts as most people in gw2 want.

This is gw2 right? at what point does it lose the dignity with the lore bc we have 349w34 batmans running around.

I’m still waiting for the aviators and wizard and witch hats to come back.
Until then I don’t really plan on spending my wallet on anything in the gem store bc the outfits and new hairstyles have been recently unimpressive.

I haven’t logged in for a few months, I thought HoT would be weeks of unexplored content only to find out it was something you could do in just a day.
That’s it for me.

I just like being told how pretty & well put together my characters are, but that rarely happens. I just want someone to actually view all of my chars & rate them possibly & tell me they love me & want ele tips. Idk lol, I have no friends in gw2 they all left me.

I just want new hairstyles & faces already.
It’s the only thing I spend real $ on & the only thing I look forward to as far as the gemstore goes.

In pvp I saw a thief named Tom Cruising, they were pretty good too so I teamed up with her- Her other char was a necro called Satans Baby

a big biker looking norn named ‘Ima G-dam american’ I can’t actually spell it out here

In wvw I ran into a warrior in a chef outfit named ‘Z whole french army’

I was in a pvp match on my necro, Pizza Goddess against someone named ‘Reefer King’

I think we need something we have less of, no more wings unless they’re glider/lore based. The angel wings are so silly looking, but I guess that’s why people want them – but if anet wants to pump out abunch of ridiculous wings they might as well give us mounts ~shudders~ that also serve no real purpose

Engineer backpacks, Quivers that realistically won’t slice your wrist trying to pull out an arrow (like the bladed quiver) More guild related backpacks/cloths – you know, stuff that makes sense.

I’d add underwater content. More underwater utilities, and instances that are strictly underwater- add back raid on the capricorn in PvP & balance underwater fighting.
The main reason I got Gw2 was because I thought there would be as much underwater content as there would anything else only to be completely shut out of that.

I’d add more racial, tier armors. More profession specific armors, like how in Gw1 necromancers armors were different from elementalists, ritualists & mesmers- you wouldn’t see the same armor on a mesmer as you would an elementalist or necro basically.

More customization options, Like I hate seeing clones of my ele out there because you cannot edit faces much from what they already look like. I’d want more facial & hair customization options so visually you can look 100% different when you edit the face & hair as opposed to what you can already do now; which is barely change the length & rotation of certain proportions of the face, but generally you still look as you did before currently. I’d want options to change hair lengths, add makeup & change makeup color. Freckles, moles, wrinkles, scars wouldn’t be locked under certain faces either, you’d be able to add any or all of these to any face you wanted. Body shapes & sizes, not everyone wants to play a physically fit Solid B-C cup female or a bulky to extremely thin male. Some people want overweight or androgynous figures.

Visually change spells to give more awe & the option to toggle animations on & off with a slider. Example: Fire for eles currently looks like falling cheeseballs or the animation of a skill is so tiny you barely notice it due to the visual nerf. Basically you can toggle the effects of skills & they’d get a visual upgrade.

I’d make the shatterer & claw more like tequatl, I mean they’re huge dragons so where is the fun in standing in 1 spot & pressing 1. I’d be okay with having to dodge every few moments. So many aspects of gw2 seems so easy it’s not fun. I’m not saying make it all like HoT (which HoT isn’t hard, but you can’t really just stand in 1 spot & press 1)

If there was going to be an expansion released, I’d make sure it was expansion worthy, unlike hoT- which they called it an expansion to make you buy it for 70$+, but what they were really selling was a DLC which generally are only worth 15-25$.

That_shaman told me there were enough hairstyles to be released by now but anet is flaky on those decisions- still no new hairstyles dec1st.
Maybe the 17th will be something good, like new hairstyles or maybe we aren’t getting anymore at all.

Past rewards should stay past rewards or as time gated as legendary crafting is.
Luckily they only do outfits now in gem store bc anet said they wont release new armors in gem store anymore.

You could only get the armor at a certain rank, once you were no longer that certain rank, you could no longer get the armor & getting the armor was random. But leave it to anet to give handouts to all the people begging.

The Tribal armor set and other armor sets that were sPvP-exclusive will be obtainable again at some point in the future. There is no ETA as to when this will happen.

Hopefully when this armor does come back, bc sadly it will – It’s gated like the legendary crafting.

It took me forever to get all the tribal armor pieces, bc back then it was random as heck if you got it or not – Since there was a mystic forge in the old pvp lobby. It was no guarantee you would GET the tribal set since you had a limited number of wolf tokens and you needed wolf tokens to craft it, you could only get the tribal set at the wolf rank.

It would be slap in the face if anet just gave it out.

Maybe for a black friday sale, we’ll get new hairstyles. I can deal with no new faces for awhile, but my norn is looking sader & sader because I have yet to use a makeover kit on her since I dislike most of the hairstyles due to either clipping or they’re downright goofy looking. I’d loooove to see Jora’s hairstyle, I always loved her hair in EotN.

So hopefully norn, charr will get something that won’t make me burst into tears from sadness & make them look good.

If it didn’t feel so much like a DLC rather than an expansion like HoT does, then yeah.

I think we’re supposed to get new hairstyles soon, some of the new NPCs in guild halls have new hairstyles- like the asuran miner or the norn treasurer.
Someone said you could only get new hairstyles if you had the infinite hairkit because they could access the new hairstyles which btw, looked like unfinished crap.
It turned out to be a bug so Here’s to hoping we get new hairstyles soon.
This wouldn’t be the longest we’ve went without a cosmetic face/hair update. Infact it’s right around how long we waited for the April 15th hairstyles.

I only spend my gems on makeover kits, since it’s the only thing I find pleasing to buy. So it gets old waiting and waiting.
I hope when we do get new hairstyles, they don’t look like utter crap, like all exclusive charr hairs do.

Get a grip- it’s An epic bow no matter the gender (bc it’s implied, even if noone else saw it). It screams epicness, Hell, your footsteps ARE nature. So it’s not just a “flower bow”- it’s magical vines, leaves, petals & a dryad holding a golden spear- comes off more godlike to me. More than epic.

your idea of epicness is probably what most people loathe, and the kudzu is for whoever wants it- so not sure what you mean by “whoever supposed to be for”

Update- still crashing constantly

AS the title says, I’ve put in 3 ingame reports which never seem to do any good- but each time I switch a map or pull up my map- Boom crash.

I’ve never crashed before until the HoT which was once evry blue moon I would crash, now it’s every map switch or each time I pull up my map.

Guild halls aren’t just for large guilds.
If they were, then I’d imagine there would be an actual requirement to pertaining the hall like “you need 100 members participating to obtain the guild hal”
Alot of the things in the guild hall are cosmetic, just because you have a huge guild does not mean you will have a fully upgraded hall.
Small guilds can do exactly what big guilds do, only it might take them 10x longer, but it can be achieved, time willing.

People tend to think necros are bad due to the “stacking in a corner meta.”
Or the fact they used to have low dps, & were a more self-sustained/selfish class rather than any kind of support.
If you had a necro who didn’t fully understand their class, they would fear enemies away or their minions would tank them from afar & most enemies would AoE the party down from afar, then there was the lack of DPS. But that was the boring old stacking zerker meta.

Necro’s aren’t bad- just the playstyle people adopt in dungeons & instances that shuns out some professions & highlights others.

I’d imagine they do, since they have petals/leaves covering their genitalia up. They just can’t reproduce, but I’m sure they make love & they DO still have to eat & drink like everyone else which means they do relieve themselves, how else would they get rid of their wastes? Some form of Photosynthesis?

If you’re not full zerk & actually pay attention, HoT is not hard.
I like the challenge, it’s about time something was challenging in this game.

-The current base heal GM on aura is fine, any increase would make it broken

-Careful with buffing too much the overload mechanic, before you know it any Jack & Tom will jump on ele, make a tempest and spam overloads on the point, aka :The return of the fire ele – easy build to faceroll with for even the worst players who lack any of the ele class
The sept nerf to fire d/d allowed us to get rid of bad fotm players and I’d like to keep that way

-Shouts can be treated in a loads of way, so many ways that they end up being more useful than cantrip for sustain and pressure…

The OP enjoyed playing minstrel ele, that’s a big red flag for me, I believe your notion of “fun” is too skewed, you are not able to give reasonable suggestions that would “improve” tempest without transforming it into something , a hamster running inside a wheel could play( old d/d with ring of fire spamm )

On point though, the D/D nerf was needed- any schmo could hop on an ele & make a d/d build before & most likely win(except against an ele who knew what they were doing & could beat them with any weapon in their sleep). Now, you actually have to try some which is great because it weeds out the bad players. I do like the shouts alot, they are better more than not than cantrips. In my opinion, tempest has transformed the auramancer but has it given ele something new entirely? No. It’s a few great buffs to an old support build.
But I’m sure it can work outside of auramancer.

Wizard and Witch hat please, bring those back.
