Is this normal? Was in WvWvW and EotM and Golem Elite skills are hitting me for more than 20k

I don’t remember this ever being the case.

If this has always been the normal, then I’d like a tool to change all 10 of my characters into Asurans please. Golem skill is just OP

I used to RP, but the RP guild I was in only had a few rules.

We couldn’t waypoint but could use portals.
And if we died, we would have to start back in the Personal Home.

And my play-style never really interfered with my RP persona, so dungeoning was never a problem.

Heh, I was an orphaned thief who’s parents was killed by my mentor who raised me, when I found that out, I vowed vengeance and to steal and murder my mentor with his most prized possession, Zap. Haha, it was a blast till I finally got Zap and killed his sorry kitten then I kinda got out of RP’n. I remember I would go into dungeons with my persona and rant on and on about my mentor and when the two of use were forced to party, I would always try to get him killed via mobs or some other way. Was a blast now that I think about it.

Actual Overflow maps are gone, with the introduction of the Mega server.

You can however figure out which server/map your on by typing in the chat bar. ‘/ip’

This will give you the ip of your map, people focus on the last 2-3 digits and compare them to one another in guild chat.

I recently hosted a month long scavengers hunt in my guild. Keepers of Death [KoD]

*They were tasked to find 5/10 items listed in riddle form and mail them to me.
*They had an unlimited number of tries
*And the winners would be the one(s) with the fewest amounts of tries (multiple winners split the prize)

I put up 210 gold for rewards and the turn out was spectacular. (though only 3 managed to actually finish)

I wanted ideas for more riddles, please post riddles (you don’t have to give me the answer)

Here’s the list I had for KoD’s ‘the Hunt’ guild contest (try it out and please give me your feedback, whether it was too easy or too hard)

Yep. All you have to do is go into your equipment tab and put a second set of weapons on. The weapon swap won’t work unless you have a weapon in your second slot.

It would be really helpful if we had a watch-list for unlocking traits.

Something like the way we can toggle achievement points watch-list.

Or even better, like the way you see achievements to unlock in the living world story.

The level 56 meta event in Iron marches is bugged.

The event for escorting Sentinel Whiptail seems to be bugged on every map I enter. He just stands there and doesn’t move even though his event ring is up.

Doing Living World Story, and sigils was not stacking for me as well.

Trying to unlock a trait by battling the Branded Devour Queen.

But to do this I need to complete the ‘Devouring the Brand’ meta on Iron Marches

Bugged at “The Sentinels at Branwatch Encampment are preparing to assault the brand” The event ring is up over Sentinel Whiptail, but he isn’t moving.

C&D cloak on WvWvW walls and bridges was changed back at the beginning of Season 2 tourney.

[Fear] is a control effect, and can be interrupted/broken with stun breakers. A thief has 5 different stun breakers, an example would be [Shadowstep] which is 2 stun breakers.

Thieves have a hard time with condition removal, unless they are traited to remove conditions while in stealth, so applying conditions while they have a source of perma stealth near structures, not a good idea.

After completing [Bloodgorge Watch Camp] take over, when escorting Maybri Shadowstalker to the gate, her entourage spawns on the other side of the gate in front of the [Foulbear Kraal] point of interest. This prevents the gate from going down and continuing the event chain.

Pick’s up FGS and spams 1.
Full melee toons that try to pull, ends up pulling everything in the god kitten room, with Ranger in party.

All my guildies went into Boss Blitz to farm. So I decided to pug up lvl35 FotM.

It was a four-man guild group. Went through all the ropes, got to last champ. I get ‘Thanks for getting us this far’ in chat and a big boot out of there.

Q: Can I report players who simply afk or autorun into wall at spawn when a match starts as ‘botting’?

At the Golem Mark II event: pets, minions and clones take no damage from the Golem, while still being affected by his knockback.

On a side note, Golem Mark II’s red circle aoe atk doesn’t affect those standing on the barrels next to where the grand chest spawns after completing world event.

Anyone else encountering pugs in tpvp, who join in on a match and just afk for the entire match?

I just got paired in two matches with two afkers after the 500 rank up points for a failed match.

I hope this doesn’t become the new meta for completing tracks.

Level 72 Personal Story – Temple of the Forgotten God

I’ve just tried this instant 4 times, all 4 times I can’t activate the first shrine.

I’ve read up on the official wiki, and avoided using knockbacks and waited 5 minutes before killing the mobs on several different occasions. And I can’t find any missing mobs to kill even using the auto-targeting button to scroll through nearest enemies.

Is there any plans to fixing this bug?

Is there a sure way to avoid this bug?

Do I give up on my personal story at this point?

Not a bug.

There’s a chance to harvest ruined materials while in combat.

Some traits will put in combat when activated, which is why professions with these traits tend to have a higher probability of getting ruined materials.

Ruined material
Using an inappropriate gathering tool for the resource node results in a ruined material on each action. Players will receive ruined materials if they use a gathering tool with a lower tier than required to gather from the resource node. The ruined material has no use besides being junk sold to a merchant. There is also a chance on some of the materials to receive a ruined material if you gather while fighting.

[Search rubble for Deldrimor artifacts to give to Scholar Ali Rodez (31)]

This event allows you to collect an unlimited supply of [Deldrimor Artifacts] but NPC ‘Scholar Ali Rodez’ is not on map to turn them in to complete this event.

I have visited the site several times since April 26, 2014, and still no fix/progress.

There are way too many guilds doing the same guild events.

Puzzle is a joke, don’t even have to do anything but run through it with my guild to get the cheese.

Bounties are even worst.

Worst part. Guild AND party doesn’t stay in the same server/instant/map. Have to taxi every one into same map.

Same here, guild had trouble getting in hits with 60+ other players doing the same bounty.

Rush was a kittenaotic as well with 6 other guilds doing the same rush.

Strange when I equip>unequip [Signet of Might] it will fix the issue until I swap maps or way point. Then it will pop right back up.

I’m currently only equipped with [Healing Signet][Signet of Fury] and [Signet of Rage].

However, I’m also receiving the effect of [Signet of Might].

I’m a Slyvari Warrior. And no one around to give me the boon. I’ve attached some screens.

I can’t take it anymore. This has been happening since the 10 April 2014. Lagging throughout the day, but worst during 7-10pm server time. It’s definitely not on my end, I have a stable 90Mbs/s internet connection and my equipment is top shelf. GW2 is the only thing breaking on me. I can’t harvest, craft, map and play; the lag is so bad.

If this lag persists, I’ll have to seriously reconsider converting to ESO or going back to WoW, even with the new items to explore in GW2.

I’ve been experiencing massive in-game lag since Thursday, April 10.

So bad, that I’ve been simply doing dailies and then logging off.

I don’t know if this is an isolated incident but when I harvest Orichalcum Ore Nodes with my [Molten Alliance Mining Pick], I’m receiving [Ruined Ore Chunks] instead of [Orichalcum Ore].

Same withe Ancient/Orrian Saplings, harvesting with my [Chop-It-All Logging Axe] yields [Ruined Logs] rather than [Ancient Wood Log]

Yah. same just happened. I think holo was suppose to only be [determined] long enough for it to switch phases. but instead it stuck and didn’t shift phases

Recipe: Carrion Mithril Imbued Inscription is priced at 567Karma. All other Mithril Imbued Inscriptions are priced at 672Karma.

Though! I agree that zerg-based events are a bit over the top. depending to much on the zerg, what happens when on day 4, when everyone has achievements? No more zerg? It makes it impossible for everyone else to complete the living story.

Its Teq all over again, just scaled down.

i dont know if this is a bug, but at the barn if someone stays under the stairs and aggro the boss, he stays locked on the person and doesnt move or attack because LOS is blocked
