the important thing is that the rewards are terrible currently, and the event will become a ghost-town after the achievements are earned if that isn’t fixed. nerfing the difficulty will not change that fact…..only an increase in rewards.

This argument is basically another “easy mode” plea. To get four (4) shots at a random Ascended weapon, regardless of completing the event, is basically like asking Anet to provide free Legendaries for each character you own.
Here’s a tip for you: If you feel Tequatl isn’t worth your time, go kill the Shadow Behemoth. He has a new 15 minute timer too, but you can still kill him in under 3 minutes.

If it was 15 minutes, it would be 1 chance and a very small one at that.
25% divided by how many sets there are. It would be around 2.5%.
2.5% sounds VERY REASONABLE to me.
The chances sound high, however when you actually randomize that chance again, the chance of getting the stats you actually want are very low.

There are many more, it would have a 25%-100% chance to drop one of these weapons, it would have a very little chance to drop the one you actually want.

Him being nerfed to the ground because nobody will do him.
His health/powers/everything will be lowered to casual level, nobody will want to due him because crafting your own guarenteed ascended weapon is much easier and less time consuming. Even crafting a legendary is the same!

It takes about 45 minutes to get in a server capable of getting him down to 75% : 30 minutes to reserve your place in the spawn window and 15 minutes to do the fight

its a RANDOM ascended weapon chest. Meaning you have a random chance to not get the box you want. Or get the same box twice.

The numbers are actually quite low if you take into the account the RNG, CRAFTING WILL STILL BE THE BEST WAY… by a long shot.
I feel that currently, I like the hardness of the fight. However right now the fight is just not worth the risk. You heard me right, the fight is just pointless, soon nobody will do this unless its nerfed to the ground.
Why? It has the same horrible drop-rate as it did before, and its only 100 times harder. I will just do other easier world events.
What should you do about it?
First of all, make the kill REWARDING…

Berserker stance.Yes yes ,it won’t affect +duration speech,but it doesnt.I never received any condition while having it active and i find it hard to believe that none on the average of 100 necros i fought in spvp in the last 2 months had at least 10% duration from either build, rune or sigil.
Idk if working as intended like engies version or a bug.But is no real problem imo cuz of long cd.It only affects spammers.

Don’t forget they can also stack 25 stacks of vunerability just by auto attacking with the nades. So that makes:You: 25% faster, 750 power and condition damage

Sigil of Para is already getting nerfed, and other classes are gaining soft counters to our AOE Stuns. (Look at Engineer.)
If you nerf to much at once you destroy the class and bring us back to where we were prebuffed, please think before asking for nerfs. We actually need a self-sustain healing trait Grandmaster along the lines of what other classes Receive, like Altruistic Healing for example.
Nerfing the Stun nerfs Unsuspecting Foe Significantly. Your basicly making the trait 2/3 of what it was.

Take the body of an almost dead Courtier and put the body into a Nightmare Husk to control of it and turn it into a Nightmare Dreadknight.
Kind of like a Chaos Dreadnaught in W40k, would be a cool idea!

I think that giving a daze or even damage to shouts would be totally asinine.
There’s already enough instant cast, un-telegraphed crap in this game and the warrior doesn’t need that.
This idea is basically a “hey wouldn’t it be cool,” but it wouldn’t be.
Imagine a warrior that heals around 1100 hp per second AND interrupts you when it heals AND its also nearly immune to conditions AND it hits like a truck.
It would just be plain bad for the game.
If shouts had a cast time it would make much more sense, but they don’t.
That’s why a trait like this would be much better suited to the warhorn skills. Not only can they see that you’re carrying a warhorn, but you also would have to cast the skills.
Even if the warhorn got something like that, it might be over-the-top.

We’re being very mindful about the way the Sigil of Para fix will hit Warriors. We’ve already got another balance patch brewing, and we’re being very careful to watch all the classes and see how they feel after we shave down the condition spam classes slightly.
As others have said, once we bring down the conditions that “hold down” some of the physical based classes, they will feel stronger. We’re aware of that!

Range: 600I support a Powerful Shouts trait. But damage is boring, we have plenty of ways to do damage. Lets have it do something more interesting, a debuff like Weakness 2s, or Cripple 2s, or a stack of bleed or something.
Daze, however, is far too strong.
Imagine, 1 warrior fighting in 5v5 battle. Shake it off, FGJ, On my mark.
The warrior will be shouting every 7 seconds (rounded for simplicity)Interrupting 5 people, every 7 seconds is pretty strong, but it gets worse when you add in multiple warriors.
5 warriors, all shouting non-stop. On average, they will be shouting every 1.4 seconds.
All enemies will be dazed and interrupted every 1.4 seconds, for the entire duration of the fight.And thats not even mentioning what happens when you combine that with distracting strikes, and perplex runes. Even solo, you’d have 15+ stacks on confusion on all foes at all times without even trying. Yeah thats not at ALL overpowered.

Daze does not stack over itself. If all 5 warriors used there shouts at the exact same time, it would still be a 1/4 second daze. it does not stack up.
Also, that pretty much sums up a single Combo Field: Lightning. Except its more powerful.

No, that is the rounded up entire attack.
If you do a chain attack like 100b, each hit adds up to a total.
You see 3000-4000-5000 because each hit is adding up to a total attack, its actually hitting for 1000 each.

If they decide to, then spear all the way (I’d think a similar setup to what I had for staff, but maybe some bleed application on one of the attacks). Staff is the closest we can get to that for now, though.
