There should be easier to play specs to the Elementalist/Ranger, new traits that dump down the class a bit to one or two attunements and the ability to make the pet completely passive.

I thought mathematically speaking a fight had to go on for more than 25 seconds before the benefits on healing sig outweighed that of healing surge.
i.e. 392*25=9800 health
healing surge=9820 health at full adrenaline (327 HPS)Healing sig may have better HPS when comparing , but the burst healing from Surge can be invaluable depending on your build. If you’re playing a bursty build, healing sig is probably not for you, but if you’re trying to tank a point/group you’d probably favor it.
They are also forgetting that Healing Surge isn’t affected as much by Poison as HS, Healing Signet procs every second, while I can cure poison then use healing surge for the full heal, HS will go down to 263 regardless. I can’t cure it and heal big.
Offensive Warriors don’t have too much regen because they are PAPER. They only have too much regen against condition classes, because Conditions ignore armor so a warrior can just use berserker stance/ignore your damage and kill you.

This is nearly the same build I’ve been running in wvw, except I go 0/0/20/20/30 for extra heal on water. Good for 1v1s and small groups but half of that is just because nobody knows how to deal with focus since hardly any eles use it. It’s not great for zergs imo since the conditions often don’t do enough to get you kill credit. I take armor of earth and arcane shield over mist form (worst of the three imo since you can’t ether renew during it) and earth shield, although I can see swapping arcane shield for earth shield for more offensive capability and confusion stacking in zergs. I also usually reserve LH for escaping and mobility, but if I feel safe enough I’ll use it for the daze and launch. I’ll have to wait to see what they do to perplexity before committing any ascended gear to the build, since that’s where at least a quarter of the damage comes from.
Oh and as a human I use reaper of grenth for free poison + chill. Could also use fgs for more mobility, but I find it less reliable than LH in that regard since it is not always off cooldown.
But yeah perplexity will probably get royally nerfed… so this build will be good at attrition but nowhere near as damaging.
Yes, but the thing is. Even if you don’t get as much kill credit. Imagine 5 of these guys coming into a zerg and just AOEing the static fields into it. Its devastating.
Oh and you know that little thing called stability and at the same time can force out some utilities with line of warding or slow the warr down with scepter 3.

Wow, seems balanced that you need 4 utility skills to survive to a single profession.And we come back to the start. Warr has to use his zerk stance in the beginning of the fight. You have to survive that <8 seconds. After that you can keep crippling/CC-ing him. Also what NPCs? Are we still talking about tPvP not wubwub? Or suddenly a new factor as a spirit ranger came into the theoretical fight?
Start of a match means before the engagement. The Warrior does not use Berserker Stance at the start of the encounter, but at the start of the match so he can join the fight with full adrenaline. Then taking hits, using burst skills and hitting your enemies regenerate adrenaline. Probably also farting generates adrenaline, but I have yet to test it out.
Burst classes counter warrs, especially S/D thief and if engys get their stability buff, then they’ll probably eat those meta warrs for breakfast also. That same imba spec will fall in a few seconds if lbow warr+thief+mesmer focus him at the same time. At the same time S/F ele (who is pushed out of the meta by neccy/engy) hardcounters lbow warr.
Every profession with burst negating skills (Endure Pain) and 3000+ armor is not countered by direct damage burst. You are making baseless assumptions.
Or are you saying that you need warr+thief+mesmer to focus a single warrior to take him down?
I agree the blind is strong, but the HP and toughness are nonsense. Lich form has crazy HP and toughness also, but everyone knows that with no active defense it melts in seconds when focused. Thief rips your stability and GL eating a long fear while getting focused down or getting dazespam+auto to death with D/P. Elite wasted. You can’t afford to be in the middle of the action with neccy anymore. Plague is only good for rez denial and spamming blind, but it won’t save you from getting focused.
Warr lbow 5 immo to lbow F1+3 and enjoy staying in that firefield that is followed with a power spike while having only the option to break out of your elite and waste it or die.That is just not true. Check the wiki. Lich form only adds 916 vitality as defensive stat, toughness is the same.
Plague adds 2748 toughness and 1832 vitality, which means 1/4 of damage taken with 0 toughness and +18k HP.Please, don’t try to teach me how Necromancer works. Plague WILL save you from getting focused.

The only OP thing I see is skull crack CD and heal sig.
Skull Crack is getting nerfed already, I suggested a -25% Base Heal amount on HS in pvp only. It does heal for a bit, however I also suggested a Mending buff as well.

Getting over *2100*+ Condition damage, with 25 stacks of confusion (Pretty Easy + AOE) each time your enemies attack that interrupt themselves and hurt themselves for 5165, you use your hammer and shield to create dazes and such and constantly interrupt/daze your foes while killing them with confusion/fire/bleeding damage/poison.
Strengths
1. Very good AOE Damage.
2. Very Tanky.
3. Can destroy Zergs with many.
Cons
1. Expensive.
2. Expensive.
3. Expensive.
How does it work?
You constantly lay down Lightning Fields and Combo Field: Lightnings to interrupt and stun your foes, pretty straight forward!
You can also use Shocking Aura, so every 2 seconds they hit you they get 3 stacks of confusion and kill themselves.

Damage would be so neglgable it wouldn’t be worth taking. Daze would cause balancing issues and would required the cool downs to be increased. I would like shake it off to give vigor as well as be a cleanse. On my mark to give stability instead of vulnerability which is useless.
Maybe change one of the minor traits to have this? Maybe the 15 point so it’s just there?
Why would a 1/4 daze cause Balancing Issues that is a really strong word without anything to back it up?

i like the idea of daze with shout, but there should be an internal CD to prevent overpower, i think 5~10 sec to prevent chain daze in a roll. And i don’t think shout should do damage, daze along is good enough.
I prefer “Tactical Intercept” instead, the trait allow banner do damage and shout do daze at the same time.
It should do damage, to hurt there ears.
In battle the damage (isn’t that high.) but since its a game, it has to take into account how much mental damage that can actually do in a real fight. Screaming at someone is a very good tactic.
Mentally, screaming in someones face hurts like hell.

I reported it, because it was the same issue.
Balance is a funny thing. My Engy finds it extremely difficult to kill a stun-chain warrior. My Mesmer kills them easily. Yet my Engy destroys Mesmers.
Not to say that it is completely balanced, but it is not black and white either.
And Engineers are getting stealth/aoe stability and even more tools to keep warriors away from them.
Where in that description does it say that we yell so loudly that out voice causes physical harm?
Oh and by the way we already have a shout that makes enemies run away

I think its a fine place to give warriors protection. Remember its only a 5 point minor trait. You’re not supposed to move mountains with a 5 point investment.
You said it yourself, that warriors deserve protection. I for one would like to get protection when I go to revive people, because most of the time you get a bunch of damage dumped on you.
I don’t want protection on reviving, the developers DO NOT WANT TO COPY abilities of other classes.

The ‘25’ trait would already give 15% revive speed, that is enough. Warriors already have good HP and decent armor.

“When Reviving an Ally” is way to situational, its pretty much the guardian ability except much worse.
Why would a shout do damage?
I also don’t think that warriors need to do untelegraphed dazes and damage that also can heal and give boons and remove conditions.

The warhorn just simply isn’t a very attractive weapon to use as it has very little offense and the defense is entirely reliant on condi clearing and vigor. With a trait to provide dazes you could use it to stop rezing or to trip up your opponent a little bit.
I want to see a balanced warrior that can use any weapon he chooses and have it be viable. We need more reasons to choose lesser used weapon sets.
That is /EXACTLY/ WHAT shouts do, AND did in real life as well.

Ranger healing technically out heals that since it heals the ranger and the pet.
Other classes AOE healing skills can out heal that.
Not really fair though since you listed the minimum amount a heal can be used. Make it 25 seconds.
Troll Unguent Healing in 10 seconds:
8560 (17120 because it heals the pet.
HS Healing in 10 seconds.

I came up with an idea for a trait to add a 1/4 sec stun to warhorn skills. Like 2 days ago.
I think it would make warhorn more attractive and is actually telegraphed(unlike shouts) and therefore much more balanced.

Never said warriors complained on ele sub-forums..they did complain on the sPvP forum and past SOTG, it’d take time but I can locate the threads started by warriors with the exact quote :" eles are more tanky than warriors and can sustain more".

The eles have been crying since the end of BWE1 and nobody at Anet has really cared , the class is so stupidly designed that everything is water/arcana or GTFO, ele players were forced in using tank build to avoid getting oneshotted by 100b warriors who had always the option to use high sustain build like : mace/shield + leech sigil or control hammer build ( don’t try to say no if not I post videos here of the mace/shield “unkillable” build and hammer control )
Despite all warrior used to cry : " QQ eles do the job of warriors" …HOW? tanks with no dmg suddenly become warriors? ..interesting ….but anyway eles got ofc nerfed on the only thing that kept them viable : tank build….
So now eles are forced to use a “burst or die” build while having 10k less HP and less room for errors compared to warriors ( frenzy+100b…cheese and easy , much easier than being forced in pressing 10 buttons at the right angle and distance with perfect timing).
But hey one trick pony build is considered viable and ok for the Devs..when on eles..but warriors were considered UP while using it, so they gave them the sustain of guardians and more dmg spread across the board ..while nerfing all possible threats for them…EPIC BALANCE.
- Thieves d/d can potentially oneshot zerker warriors…NERF
- Guardians can outlive burst from warriors…NERF
- Eles can kill warrior with attrition..NERF
- Necros can kill warriors with condition…NERF and ADD ANTI-CONDITIONS STANCE

Warriors never cried on your forums, we mostly always asked to be fixed. That is a rumor people like you started. Warriors have never wanted anyone nerfed, we just wanted our profession fixed for 11 months.
Elementalist dug their own graves when they basicly said how easy they were and how overpowered they were in one of the SOTG. YOUR OWN Class nerfed you.
Whining won’t fix your class, whining never fixes anything, and your whining clearly indicates that your feedback isn’t suggestive at anything besides utter jealousy.

The problem with this is that traited shouts do have a relatively short cool down. Its a good idea but I feel it wouldn’t go over well without some other balances. Other than that you’ll have the typical QQ this forum has recently about warrior CC… er, I mean warrior ANYTHING.

The GvG community is trying an “occupy PvP” tactic, basically meaning that they come here to post about balance changes that are needed to make different team compositions in GvG possible.
But yes, warriors were buffed quite a bit. Balancing them shouldn’t be too hard, though. Slight cooldown increases on stability/immunity, healing signet lower base heal but scale better with healing power, fix sigil of paralyzation bug. Wouldn’t be surprised if that would be all they need, actually.
They are giving other classes AOE stability and globally nerfing sigil of paralization while adding a bunch news ways for other classes to heal, which affects almost all of the Warrior’s Traits and lowers his damage significantly. They are also buffing other classes. Isn’kitten bit ignorant to nerf all that at once, without nerfing one and seeing how much it has a significant impact on the new meta? I mean, every class is getting buffed in some way, your pretty much asking for the warrior to be brought down to what it was a couple months ago, may I remind you how BAD warriors were back then?

I think RtL needs fixed. And other weapons need similar mobility skills.
Most good thieves know how to use timing and poison. However a lot of the thief class is very very nerfed in SPVP. Pretty much shadows of what they used to be.
The one thing warriors dont need is more access to CC, lol.
Its mostly an interrupt.

Shouts do damage and daze when using a shout.

Nearby allies gain Retaliation when you use an Arcane or Signet Spell.
(Nearby Allies gain 5 seconds of Retaliation.)
This trait helps and is a soft-hard counter against against heavy AOE classes.
