Lets hope the tab targeting improves the way it selects enemies , targeting clones/out of range enemies etc is just really frustrating , but what about spvp isent the clones a kind of defence against this ? If you totally remove AI targeting from spvp i see this as a really positive step towards balance as bad players hide behind AI pets lol :P

Crypt dude there’s so many viable warrior builds now. Almost any weapon combination can have a strong build made around it (even off hand axe).

Furthermore there are still trait set ups the wider community isn’t aware of. I can put them in RK or here if you want.

3. Lack of Achievement Points

This treads a fine line between skill and raging frustration im gonna skip this 2 weeks n look forward to 17th update . Although im raging i spent all my cash levelling crafting to find out the Ascended weapons cant be sold i fail hard !!!!

I can recommend a great card if you have the budget a Nvidia 670 is sweet spot lot of performance for the $$$

As someone who has played a lot im seeing a problem here , I only have 6k points and im very active player Why you ask ? . Well i am rank 42 spvp and Also play WvWvW a lot . The way Achievement Points are earned is unbelievably biased towards PvE . I hope They change this so more people do SPVP/WvWvW .

I am hoping to be Compensating With my Time in SPVP/WvWvW hoping they boost the AP in the Near future

Again this is a bandaid for a game engine that can’t handle its intended function…multi player content. What we need is the game engine updated to actually do its intended job rather than bodge fixes to hide the shortcomings in the current one. That it runs “decent” for you does not mean, that it runs “decent” for most of the community.

The problem is, it does not run decent for many people even though it should.
I don´t exactly have a high-end PC, but it´s above the recommended requirements
and the game´s auto detect function sets me to “high”.

That, however, still means that my frame rate can go from 30-60 down to
below 20-30 in most situations (big pve events, wvw, sometimes even spvp and some weird areas where nothing is going on and even standing still won´t let my frame rate go above 30 for some reason).

Some very extreme situations even put me down to measly 7 frames per second, which stays the same even when I set EVERYTHING to the LOWEST settings possible.

Some with worse hardware than mine report better performance, while some people with better hardware report similar problems with the game, which is weird, to say the least.

There also are many threads in the tech support subforum concerning performance problems.

I´m no expert on this but I´d say this hints a problem with the game´s engine utilizing the hardware correctly. At some point the extra power of high end systems compensates for this, but that does not mean there is no problem with the performance most of us currently experience.

This drags on since before launch and was recognised by the developers at first but
they kept silent about this ever since.

I agree with some of youre points but , I also only have a mediocre PC and the game runs fine i have first gen i5 @ 3.2ghz GTX 460 o.c and 4 gb of ram , these days this rig is nothing . That said it seems a lot of people expect TO much From mediocre PC,S ….

Personally I find it weird that races other than humans are getting a mini queen jennah as a birthday gift. Wouldn’t it be more appropriate if they get a mini related to their races? Like a mini trahearne for sylvaris. I’m sure they would love that! :O

Also I would’ve liked a cool toy better than another mini, like the balloon/kite/musical instrument/rose bouquet or whatever. Or a toy caladbolg that i can use in costume brawls.

It’s tied in with the current lore. My guess is the birthday gift isn’t coming from Anet but from Queen Jennah herself, to celebrate her ten years ruling. And since all the races have representatives there, it’s not really lore breaking to me.

What about characters that are made in winter/spring etc? By that time QJ won’t be in the middle of the lore I guess. So it would make more sense to give presents according to races.
Or how did this work in gw1? (I didn’t play on that game) For example if I make a character on let’s say 10th of september this year, then will I get a QJ mini on sept. 10 in 2014 as my “first birthday present”?

I haven’t seen any information regarding adjusting settings so far like you can do in WvW. So does that mean that my PC will officially blow up the next time I want to do a World Boss or something similar that gathers a trillion players in one spot?

I’m already shivering in terror as we speak as my PC isn’t the most super hardcore one and it already struggles in places like Pavillion farm and world bosses.
With PvE culling gone, I fear the game will be unplayable for me in several places in the game.

What CPU/GPU/HDD/ram you got ? this game is really good on mediocre machines tbh . However An i5 ivy bridge + GTX 670 + SSD + 8gb of ram will chew throught GW2 everything turned up , and its not expensive at all

Ide just like to share my views on the new achievement system i personally think it is very well designed and much better than previous well done Anet

However i see a problem and i hope it will be addressed in the near future

The current system is sucking all the players from pvp/wvw because the points gain advantage from pve is just huge compared to these other aspects of the game

I am hoping you boost the pvp and wvw points tallys to compensate and bring us up a bit im not asking you make it same as pve , just a boost is needed to keep the game balanced in all aspects of achieving points
