@ lukin whats PoE ? Im very much liking how ESO is looking but the last few games ive bought SWTOR and GW2 have been a huge let down for me , i never bought D3 glad i dident either lol .. my search for a good mmo continues…. not been happy since gw1 honest

Im finding sPVP very boring due to lack of viable builds and static tourney maps , Anyone else feel the same ?

1. Trait balancing , and more choices in 1-5 for each weapon
2. G v G ( honest if i actually thought there wasent gonna be G v G i would not have bought the game its what made this franchise a winner
3. H O H , epic concept and ive still yet to play better 3 team pvp in any game
4. Alliance battles also awsome
5. Throw the pve crowd a few scraps , they got plenty to grind for atm lol

Im finding these leaderboards Ok except theyre all individual rankings and not guild rankings , Need G V G added with top 1k guild ladder adding a.s.a.p

Also much Needed G v G with guild rankings in game !!!

Also In the mists why not instead of 80 , the number of rank you are instead as everyone is 80 in spvp

People found out how to make the ele gamebreakenly overpowered.
Tankier than guardians while dishing out good damage, having the mobility of a mesmer with a 3 second cooldown teleport .
Not playing tanky ele gimps you.

Some people are all FotM with ele, because while they used to be called garbage a build was discovered that made them viable. People hate it however because it makes them hard to lock down and kill.

Of course they have zero damage by doing this, but people ignore that or outright lie about it. So they have a spot being a hard to kill bunker with some mobility and zero damage (with a fun playstyle of constant ability usage). Eles literally have no other spec options though or they get blown up by people looking at them and their burst is half of a thief’s/mesmer without any of the defenses.

Of course most decent players have moved on to necros/rangers and engis to counter the current meta, but the slower people are still complaining about eles and behind the times instead of adapting and getting better.

I smell D/D/ele lol ^^

Just wondered if this patch has some trait/skill/weapon changes to incorporate a lot more builds into pvp its so boring atm with lack of choices ?

I am on a break from playing atm im findind spvp very dull atm 1-2 viable builds per class is very boring , not to mention lack of rewards/features sigh…

We Have Made weaker weapon skills n traits more viable as choices , giving the player a lot more viable builds …

We Have Also looked at scoring on all maps and glory gains and have adjusted accordingly per map ….

Conquest itself is fine.
Anyone who played RA and TA knows how relatively stationary/fixated that could be relative to the rest of the map. I understand why they did it relative to that, and there were points were people just waited hard for someone to engage first before doing anything since the only pressure was the timer.
Shoot I remember Gw1’s little island map, believe it was canthan based with the poison area in the back, you all know it. People fought in the island stretch, primarily, rest of the map untouched for the most part. Conquest has the map’s features not going to waste. Might as well just lockpeople in a black & white hallway without conquest because that’s the amount of land they’ll use generally.
We need better balance, that and CA.

They just need to push the secondary objectives because that is what makes it more than sitting in a circle. Anyone who actually played GW1 knows the problems RA and TA had and should be able to understand why they see Conquest as a better alternative.
But again if the secondary objectives aren’t to snuff, it is going to be boring.

I do agree with you too a point , But There seriously needs to be guild rankings in game like gw1 at least , also a lot more viable builds for each class , these 2 things missing are making the game boring

@ The OP , You have 2 choices : 1 remove the condition or 2 run like logan thackery

I wanna give my feedback straight back to Anet .

But first here is a question i would like answering : When you had such a large pvp following from gw1 , why change a winning formula (GvG,Ha,AB,Arenas) ?

I just Cant be bothered to play anymore Spvp and not because of lack of game modes (ok a little ) but its the fact there is so little builds to select in each class , it gets boring really fast .

The last patch with solo queues for free tourneys was better..

@ follidus now you mention it we did wait quite a while for a match , so maybe youre theory of matchmaking is correct , i guess there was only top teams playing or we was unlucky odd number queued etc…

Well if it is simply win loss rating , how comes top guild teams both games ?

Done some paid tourneys im r 25 and my team was between 20-30 in total

Ok first Game we got [Cute] all of them high 40,s 2 even 50 + , got rolled like 500-100

Second game Got another guild team all above r 40

You really need to implement a solo sign up for paids

Also never a fan of rating you cant see

Some good points i am also hit the wall and yes i play a ranger(not trap) there is a lot of class balancing coming on the 26th of feb just come back then . I do hot joins and its just full of thiefs/mesmers/eles/rangers thats da truth

With current game its not possible to gvg. because 1st at all: there are no “healers” so battles can take 2 min and move system is more dynamic and faster than gw1.

And how does such an established legendary guild like yours cope with no GVG ?

Does the last pride find spvp good/bad/average ?

Also the map with the guild lord could be made into some kind of GVG map i believe ?
