Double Achievement Points

I like the changes in all honesty , however i just feel there should be some retroactive rewards , even if its 10 silver per chest or something . The level playing field starting 10th of december heavily favors pvers to gain the nice spvp skins heres why :

Pvers all ready got lots of gold so getting the glory with boosters + birtday boosters they will attain nice skins before an spvp vet can earn enough gold to get the stuff he wants..

i think some reconsidering needs to be done , i feel rather sad about it all

Well i was looking forward to get my chest but now i dont even care tbh , was expecting the finisher to be permanent and at least 1 choice of an ascended weapon meh

To the OP This will happen until the spvp population grows . The lack of spvp players causes this however, things are Chnaging for the better starting on 10th of dec :P

Ah thanx im from blackgate , is it per account or character ? the 3 bonus chests i mean ?

So i made a new character , boosted him to 20 went into w v w expecting my easy bonus chests from ranks 1-5 and got no bonus chests ? any reason why not ?

Pretty sure the rank titles are staying , its just the numbers are disappearing not certain tho , but theyre adding new rank titles also in the conquerer title track , so it will be staying

Can we see ANET run daily/montly automated tournies aswell as in game ladders/ranks are coming ala gw1 style hero/gvg battles ?

Mostly positive changes however i can see why some people are concerned about losing there rank , me personally im not bothered i would sooner have a champion @ r 20 than a r 40 skyhammer farmer

If two groups of EXACT equal skill would meet up gear MIGHT decide the outcome.
But there are several other things that might also decide the outcome such as Lag, Buffs, Foods, Professions, Gear used, Experience and so on.

It is extremely unlikely that two exactly equal groups would ever face off, and if they did there are way more stuff than those few extra stat-points that might effect the outcome.

Gold league winners = 100 laurels 100gold and 1000 gems + special permanant finisher
silver league winners = 50 laurels 50gold and 500 gems + speacial finisher
bronze league winners 30 laurels 30gold and 300 gems + special finisher

Just wanted to say TY , the opponents im facing are v good players and im kinda losing ratio of 1-2 but im still enjoying the games much more now . Typical matchs im in atm is players between r 30 + to r 60 and theyre still good games usually 500-300 and some big turn arounds

Hi Kirito long time no speak , erm i think you make a valid point erasing everyones rank and rebalancing it on on games played/won would solve the skyfarmers rank exploiut also , as the genuine players with 5k played and 3k wins would have earned there rank

A good solution is to make all wXP account rank , And the abilities you can spend only once per season per character :P

A much needed change account rank , but abilities per charcter not account , you still get the points but can spend em once per character , this is a no brainer tbh
