I’ve had a lose streak tonight where every match was a complete lopsided blow out again and I’d like to review it.My teams have been stacked with players who go and get absolutely churned in every combat they engage in all night long. Gun flame is bugged and hits twice but besides that with 1 hit too i think the damage is too high OR the animation is too fast for a similar damage.
I mean the kill shot is fine imho because there is an high damage but a slow animation and u’re rooted during the cast. Gun flame is not balanced imho (besides the bug)
Besides that i think main zerk problem is a core warrior problem (speaking about pvp) too linked to discipline for fast hands and defense for condi removal,/tankiness, this makes huge issues for a good build with Berserk line.
gun flame does less physical damage than kill shot.
You also acknowledged that its bugged so why call for nerfs on something that hasnt been properly tested?
Because even if it doesn’t bug out it can still kill people with 1 shot or at least take off 80% of their HP. With all the other factors it is considerably better than kill shot, which I thought was not the intent of these skills as they only need 10 adrenalin to activate.

For example though. My last 10 games…of which I am in que right now while writing this, are on my Necro.
Until my team gets on it’s all I play is my Necro. I realize this list is my opinion, and not law. I’m writing it as what I’ve seen, I even said that at the top.
Any last game I fought a 4v1 on Wolf, and was able to kill 2 of them before they could stomp me. Sorry, but I can’t do that on any of my other characters. As long as I can 2v1, 3v1, and 4v1 and walk out of it will kills and/or alive on my Necro, they will be Tier S in my opnion :P

More like you still can’t kill them but at least they kill a tiny bit slower than before. And by tiny I mean it’s pretty small, RoF is more useful as a direct attack, though crossing it doesn’t hurt as bad. That said, that means you also can’t have Necros dance in it for huge burn spike plague signets.
Overall, I’d say this patch had a lot of text for not a lot of change.
Warriors should be retry happy though. While it may not totally shape their meta builds, some of the changes they got were decent. Last stand buff is huge, if you can escape the need for Cleaninng Ire (admittedly not easy to do).

warriors are very balanced with many counters, not over powered.
A bunker pushes far at the start of a match. He gets there early enough to neutralize the point. Two enemy players engage him on the far point for the entire match. The point remains neutral, he kills neither of the enemies but the enemies don’t kill him either. He tells his team: “stay at home and mid and benefit from the 4v3 in your favor”. His team ends up winning but at the end of the match, that bunker will have 0 points and the MMR system will credit him the least amount of MMR gain out of everyone on his team, even though he was carrying that team hard.
i know this is just an example but it shows how terrible the current system is at determining participation in a match.

unfortunately, i think we have more ragers and poor sportsmanship in the game, and in the forums.
I did this a couple of times but got reported and flamed to hell from my teammates. I remember one particular game where its was 400 to 150 in our favour and one from the other team dcd (he had lags before, I could see it, so i guess no rage quit), I stopped playing and we actually lost the game.
There are no words to descripe the heat i got!I really appreciate that there are players thinking like me in this point!
well, the other 4 team mates should not really blame you, since, they lost a 4 vs 4 and had a 350 lead.
My team end up wining- I didn’t play since I read the 4v5, although he had said “play the game”.
The DC was in the middle of the game (arround 250point) we were in advantage and my team kept that advantage until victory.

With 12 seconds of instant stability on a 40 second cooldown from a trait we will see more stance warriors who you can never CC. The rotation of stability will be trait, then Balanced Stance, then rampage, then trait then Balanced stance and by that point everyone looses. Its a trait that requires no skill and therefore deserves a high cooldown.

Yeah kinda of a dream but one can only hope, I can imagine if they increase speed of gliders and create some fun pvp maps and add aerial maneuvers (loops, spirals etc…) this mode could be a blast to play, add to this customized aerial glider skins and potential glider upgrades and mastery tie ins and you could have a very deep game mode

Basically, the concept is as follows:
- character never needs to discard armor
- existing armor is upgraded by various armorers as character progresses
- armor is capable of altering its appearance and stats after various upgrades
- various materials and cost (gold?) is required for the armor upgrades
- possibly special items required for special armors (unique skins)
back then, they do not have official forums for guild wars 1 and relied on fan site forums.
this would be like under water pvp except its above water.

They took away our flamethrower cooldown reduction (-20%) trait since the 23/6 patch. The flame jet damage increase comming in 2 days won’t make up for it really, i’m all for some cooldown reductions.
ah, i did not play engineer much before that patch so i dunno about that, yes, hopefully some reduction in recharge time would be nice.
yup, maybe they should just roll the 20% flamethrower ability cooldown reduction into juggernaut trait?
errrr i would prefer if the -20% flamethrower skills recharge time were made baseline though.
