Attribute Point Changes
• Attribute points on equipment have been increased by ~30%

lets assume worst case scenario and they just lazily decide to increase the stats of pvp amulets by ~30% just like that, leaving us to rot with no further mix and match of our stats, but let’s not all lose hope shall we? all is not in vain yet, since it is not 23 june 2015 yet, soon, but not yet.

so, from here:

we take total stats points of normal amulets
(650 + 650 + 932) x 0.30 = 670

we get that, total increase of 30% would be around 670 stat points.

now, what if, we shift these 670 stat points into pvp runes instead?
at least we still get to mix and match around a bit.

for example,
Superior Rune of the Trooper
(1): +25 Vitality
(2): +35 Toughness
(3): +50 Vitality
(4): +65 Toughness
(5): +100 Vitality
(6): Shouts remove a condition from each affected ally.

total 175 vitality 100 toughness
it could be
600 vitality 345 toughness { 175 / 275 x [(175 + 100) + 670] }

just an example.

however, this means there would be a lot more work for them.
unfortunately, this may not happen.

they will just lazily update the pvp amulets.

sad.

hmmm yeah Ozzrel, you are right.
well, being a warrior player myself, i am only used to 25% or 33% increased movement speed increase, i think thieves can have 50% movement speed while in stealth but i dun play thief often so i dunno how 50% feels like.

well i guess this topic has served its purpose and ran its course.

by the way, Ozzrel, my reason would be “but … what if, it could be better?” which is not really a good reason anyway.

for example, the last example,

Radius: 1500

would meant that the warrior loses the constant 25% movement speed, and only gains 100% movement speed when running toward foes from 1500 distance onwards.

if the warrior attempts to run away, he loses the 100% movement speed.

this is overpowered?

Just make them move slower and give them more skills to knockback, cripple etc… They should NOT be able to outrun everyone like little fairies…

I believe they also said the numbers on gear would be increasing a bunch as well.

those would be primary stats (power, precision, vitality and toughness) which does not include non standard secondary stats (condition duration, boon duration) so yeah this is not acceptable.

removing stats such as vitality, power, toughness or precision may be fine to a certain extent, since they will be buffing the base stats somewhat, from 926 to 1000 and is just a 74 points increase in each stat, and a total of 296 increase.

really a pathetic amount if you ask me, since we get 300 points increase now by simply maxing out a trait line.

unless all the pvp amulets will get 600 points increased, we’re all getting nerfed hard in the stats.

unacceptable.

well, Juba, yes, we seems to be getting some good things for strength line, but why remove the +30% to condition duration?

it is okay if they add extra stuff, but to take away existing stuff, that is bad.

the newly proposed Warriors Strength grandmaster minor trait “Stick and Move” seems to have gotten a 7% buff from 3% as it is now into the newly proposed 10% instead.

this is the proposed one:
“Stick and Move – Get a 10% damage bonus when endurance is not full.”

however, what happened to our +30% condition duration increase?
this is unacceptable!

it should be like this instead:
“Stick and Move – Get a 10% damage bonus when endurance is not full. Condition duration increased by 30%”

15% recharge is applied to baseline, Anet said during the core specialization stream that all classes are getting 15% recharge to their profession mechanic, the other 15% will be in traits, specifically the grandmaster minor trait of their original profession mechanic trait line.

So it’s a buff, not a nerf.

we have 30% boon duration increase now but they are gonna butcher it down to 10%.

the newly proposed Warriors Tactics grandmaster minor trait “Inspiring Presence” should increase boon duration by 30% and not 10%.
also, the outgoing healing increased by 10% is not needed, should be removed.

currently, what they proposed:
“Inspiring Presence – Boon duration and outgoing healing increased by 10%.”

it should be like this instead:
“Inspiring Presence – Boon duration increased by 30%.”

the newly proposed Versatile Power trait reads:
“Gain might on weapon swap. Burst skills recharge 15% faster.”
it should be 30% as it original is, as of now, not 15% as proposed for the future.

hence,
this should be proper.

Well, than the treb seems to be bugged. It only dealt about ~20% damage per hit last time I used it.

hmmm i am not sure, in my previous strong hold beta experience (not today) the treb seems to be one shot-ing archers and gate keepers.

did this got changed in this beta?

Why issnt treb a ground targeting skill??

I find it really annoying to predict.. treb just feels clunky (all trebs!) dont like it.. gimme a skyhammer targeting skill or something..

I think the #1 problem with treb is > its just not fun to use it!

yeah i agree that the treb is not very fun to use.
or to put it in other words, the treb takes some skill to use,

I (and my team) never used the treb and won 90% of my match (12-13).

Treb can be powerful but 1 or 2 mate is enough to def your doors/lord most of the time with their own skills.

It’s more efficient to send players with skritts/archers in order to protect them and kill guards/players at the same time, than keeping one at treb.

well if the treb does indeed kills archers and gate keepers in one shot then it is worth using it.

i believe most of the complaints comes from players who
- do not use the treb
- do not know how to use the treb
- expect other team mates to use the treb
- does not realize the treb kills archers and gate keepers in one shot

Hey, hey, hear me now. What if Warriors are getting an offhand pistol but with a different take on it?
What if the new pistol offhand has an autoattack on its skill 4? Something like a chain autoattack that performs several barrage shots that generate a lot of adrenaline. With the skill 5 being something like a leap backwards, or a taunt shot of sorts, or maybe a CC like a blowout, I donno.
You could have melee pressure and ranged pressure all in a single weapon set.
Now with 3 autoattacks in total, and with the additional F2s weapon skills, it’s like if you had an additional weapon swap.

Wouldn’t that be really cool?

Make “On my Mark” not a shout, then you can make it 20 CD.

25 seconds is standard recharge time for warrior shouts.

That’s why I’m ahead of you.
Make it 20 CD and not a shout then the CD issue is compensated.
Otherwise nope.

Maybe “On My Mark!” should be closer to 40 to balance it out so people don’t feel forced to choose all 3 low cd shouts?

but fear me is not a standard warrior shout.

no, on my mark is too weak to be 40 s recharge.
it is not worth 30 s as well.
25 s is just right.
