warrior sword 4 impale
= 4 seconds single target hex, applies torment each second.
necro plague
= 20 seconds mobile pbaoe hex, applies poison and various conditions around necro each second.
thief pistol 5 black powder
= 4 seconds stationary pbaoe hex, apply blind every 2 seconds.
yeah, we could use more “hexes” in gw2.

ah, hotjoin.
it was fun when there were official 8 vs 8 servers.
but no, they said they wanted players to learn how to 5 vs 5.
then they silently abruptly removed the 8 vs 8 servers when they introduced reward tracks in april 2014.
and so nowadays we have these kinds of problems in the current 5 vs 5 hotjoin servers.
during beta weekends, launch, where there were official 8 vs 8 hotjoin servers, without spectator mode, players unable to team swap freely, players earned glory points and rank points based on their own personal score, well, it was much more fun back then.
rampage is balanced.
blind field will render rampage useless.
rampage cannot penetrate blocks and evades.
pls fix as this is not fair to rangers

Alright, you guys know the drill! How are the changes so far? Either answer these questions for me or just talk about what you feel is important to mention for Warrior.
Specific questions:
- Have you tried actually using healing signet for the resistance at all?
- Have you found any builds that are extremely distinct in playstyle from builds before the patch?
- Have you been able to have any success with shoutbow since the patch? It’s seemed like it has been having trouble with all the burst specs going around.
1) no. i died too fast, even with i am using sentinel’s amulet along with dolyak runes.

i stopped playing warrior since the patch.
Warrior:
Berserker’s Power – this thing is hyper nuts when combined with heightened focus and rampage. Mace/Hammer lockdown build is really strong now. Warrior will screw anyone without 2 stunbreakers or stability.Ranger:
Not too much aside from 1500m-2000m longbow camping cheese that was there before. Clarion bond is pretty crazy as well, but likely just due to a bug with out of combat pet swaps.
warriors are struggling really. have you actually played a warrior yourself since the patch? sure the combo is strong, but only applicable in certain situations. warrior drop like flies and they cannot enter stealth or teleport away.
clarion bond is balanced by the way.

ethereal = chaos armor 5 × 2 = 10 seconds? NO! 5 SECONDS ONLY! USELESS!

ice = frost aura 5 seconds !!! not 10 !!! useless !!!

lightning = daze 1 × 2 = 2 seconds ? USELESS !!!

Slow down. I’m still trying to process the previous 20 toughness buff. If balance continues at such an alarming rate I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep up with the patches.

with 200 toughness and 50% health threshold, thick skin may actually be useful. somewhat.

Actually, it wouldn’t. Thick skin would not be good unless the added toughness would be somewhere around 500+, and even then, you only mitigate the first blow probably.

I remember HA from GW1, that had some maps where 3 teams had to fight each other (8v8v8) and was one of the best PvP modes in game.
In here, I don’t really think it would work that great. I try to picture such situation in WvW and it actually seemed like a mess of random procs and ganks everywhere. The lack of trinity gives a chance for everyone to just jump into a zerg and try something and bail out when things get messy.

The new spiked armor combined with thick skin. Means your going to transition from 120 to 150. your going to have 270 situationally after the 1st hit. And every 15 secs you will proc the 150. What your asking for has already been addressed you just don’t see the big picture.
