new emotes will add to the experience of every GW2 player
Technically, in the sense that everyone will be able to use them but is it a worthwhile addition? How often do most players even use emotes beyond dance when they’re bored and waiting for something to happen? I would like to have more emotes but it’s very very very low on the priority list.
I think that brings up a good question of what emotes would be the most useful? Not only for players, but for the devs as well?
A “juggling kittens” emote might be entertaining, but it’s really not of much use to the devs. An emote of leaning against a wall, or counting stuff and marking it off on a clipboard, however, could be used by NPCs in a lot of places.
Perhaps, more emotes for NPC would make the world feel more alive and if you make them for the NPCs you might as well let the player use them…although that might be more work than it sounds because I don’t think all the different races can use the same animations.

Where is this “tomes” idea coming from? Too many of you keep bringing it up for this not to be in the game somewhere…

They were elite skills that got replaced.
Fair enough, though I doubt Anet will actually make all legendary armour now and in the future raid only.
I don’t know about that. They might add future options later, but given that it’s been four months since HoT released and they still don’t even have it in raids, I’m not holding my breath that they’ll add it to other game modes any time soon. I definitely hope that they do though.
I still think the better solution is to have “easy mode” raids, where pretty much any player would be able to participate on their own merits, and still progress towards the existing rewards, just at a slower pace than through the hard mode raids. The hardcore raiders would always have the cool stuff months before anyone else, maybe up to a year, but eventually everyone else could catch up. The easy mode raids would also act as “training wheels” to allow lower-skill players to eventually work their way up to the hard mode versions, instead of the current method of “bang your head against the wall until you get through, or get a concussion, whichever comes first.”
Last I checked you still couldn’t get Fires of Balthazar without structured PvP (which I don’t do) and the legendary weapons in the game already do force you to complete certain content that you might not want to do to get the what you need for them.
People often raise the “two wrongs obviously make a right” argument, but I’ve never believed in that. There are flaws with all the game modes right now, but a flaw in one mode does not justify a flaw in another, it just exists as something that should be fixed for its own reasons.
you have to wonder, will legendary armors be account bound ?
I kinda doubt that players will be able to sell legendary armor. Given the HoT weapons, that doesn’t seem to be the direction they want to go. Of course, they did make crafted precursors sellable, which is not the direction I would have gone with them.
I had a proper reply written out but the forums ate it.
Gist of the previous reply: I don’t think having to do specific things to get skins is a flaw (stats is another matter) even if it often dose not work out in my favour but can see why others don’t like it.
I think having an easier (and less rewarding) version of the raid would be a decent idea unless it’s a much larger undertaking than it appears. Although I’m personally not too worried about missing out on the amour I would like to be able to get the general gist of the raid so I don’t feel like a complete heel if I join a group for the hard one. I think it would increase participation in more difficult raids if getting into it was less intimidating.
Toxin Hog is no combat, but requires a highly placed mastery.
OH! You’re suppose to use the mushrooms? I did it without them because I don’t have that mastery. Oddly other heals don’t seem to work but Healing Seed dose.
Since druid seems to working out and it fits with the theme, probably healing.
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
i don’t know about you, but i’ve changed the stats on my frostfang maybe twice in the two years i’ve had it. if the reason you got your legendary items is not because of how it looks, you’re a rare breed indeed.
To be fair, armor is even more useful in this regard, since if you equip a weapon on a character, you’re pretty much defining the role you’ll play, like Scepter on a Necro is a condi weapon, so you’d always want condi stats. With armor though, you might have situations where you’d want to completely swap your build, and in such cases, stat-shifting armor would be more useful. Not to mention being able to shift it from character to character.
For all he talk about “elitists”, it’s the other side of the coin thats been getting increasing vocal and venomous, and not just in this game. Liking harder content such as raids dose not automatically mean you think you are higher than other players and make you elitist.
True, but advocating that everyone else doesn’t deserve the rewards you do would be elitist. I have no problem with people who like raids. I do have a problem with people that vocally attack those who would like to see “easy mode” raids or some equivalent way for more casual players to participate and work towards the same rewards.
Fair enough, though I doubt Anet will actually make all legendary armour now and in the future raid only. I also think people like unique rewards and that’s fine . Last I checked you still couldn’t get Fires of Balthazar without structured PvP (which I don’t do) and the legendary weapons in the game already do force you to complete certain content that you might not want to do to get the what you need for them. I’m not likely to ever get one because the whole process makes me cringe just thinking about it. I don’t think this is unfair.
I love the new Shatterer! It beats the holy heck out of the way it was before.
As others have said, a lot depends on how well the event is organized, and whether players are doing what needs to be done. I’ve only seen the event fail once, and it was because players weren’t destroying the Pulsating Crystals fast enough, allowing Shatterer to heal.
Yeah that’s why it failed on my one as well. If you want to take an active part in helping the map succeed you could mention in map chat that you have to use CC on the Crystals to get rid of the break bar and encourage people to equip CCs skill. You can also call people to the launch pads a short time before he tries to launch and tell them when to use them.
You can’t get the auto attack “someone else will sort it” mob to do anything else but hopefully enough people will listen.
Na, I’m not playing them (though I might play some eventually) but I don’t have problem with them.
For all he talk about “elitists”, it’s the other side of the coin thats been getting increasing vocal and venomous, and not just in this game. Liking harder content such as raids dose not automatically mean you think you are higher than other players and make you elitist. Wanting to do speed runs so having requirements on group composition and experience that you put in the LFG dose not make you elitist. Having scorn for people who you perceive as being “less skilled” is elitist. Content existing that is harder than you like or requires more time and effort to prep for than you want to be bothered with is not a personal insult aimed at you.
I’ve noticed the theme with heart quests is they simply are not present on end-level zones. Southsun Cove was a bit pointless and unoccupied besides the Queen of course and Orr is home to those who enjoy the champ trains/t6 mat farming. Anet did a fantastic job with HoT by keeping people preoccupied constantly while in the new zones.
It is fantastic to see someone who actually appreciates what they brought with the new expansion, after all… Anet wasn’t even sure if they were going to work on one.
I think the hearts are basically player training. Trying to get players to stay long enough that they notice the dynamic events, which is this game version of quests and is what the game is built around, rather than running through a zone wondering why there is nothing to do. By the time you reach Orr they shouldn’t need to do that any-more.
I got HoT recently and so far I like the maps. I like that they’re multi level and maze like so you can actually get lost in them and the events are interesting. Once you know the area a bit you can get around very quickly with the glider. It feels like I’m actually exploring and learning about the area rather than just running from A to B on a pretty map. Not that the maps aren’t pretty as well, they are gorgeous and getting a good look at them is another benefit of the gilder.
I just don’t like finding some hidden thing only to get “kitten off until you grind out this mastery”.
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
Are you showing up right before the event starts? because the latecomer maps tend to be less good. I’ve had a map lose to him once, perhaps you have just been unlucky.
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
Because there is a lot of causal PvE content already so they are focusing on fleshing out harder content for a while?
Is having a few mostly cosmetic items you can’t get really that bad a thing? I don’t bother with legendaries at all because I don’t like most of them and the ones I do (Nevermore) I can’t be bothered getting.
I have the Sorrow’s Embrace light armor for the battle mage theme and Ascalonian Catacombs light for a fencer theme but yes it would nice to have a few more options.
With thieves now using staffs it is good to see some battle staffs coming through. I always figured if you’re a mage and you use a long stick to channel magic you might as well put something pointy or heavy on the end as well.

A lot of things
People seem to scoff at more damage and health but (within reason) that is the bread and butter way to make things harder. More damage = less room for error, more health = you need to keep a good performance up longer or step up your DPS.
Short winds ups on attacks requiring fast reflexes to migrate it.
Enemies that are positioned in ways to exploit the environment which the player then has to find ways to overcome (the souls series is good at this).
Puzzles and “puzzle” mechanics (only works until the player figures it out so it’s not great for replayability but it can be fun while you do and memorable).
Lots of moving parts requiring coordination and skill syncing with a team.
Changing attack patterns so you have to adapt on the fly.
Dynamic enemies that use dodges, counters and punishments (obviously hard to pull off).
Forcing you to use counters (like stunbreaks, condi removal)
Multiple types of enemies in the same group.
I have mixed feeling about this but…you do have to make CC’s less effective somehow. Outright immune is a terrible way to handle it but if a team can effectually stun lock them then nothing else is going to make this fight hard.
Bad (IMO)ways to make things harder.
Too much health, especially if they aren’t hard to survive against. You end up having to quit to do other things or crushed by sheer boredom. Related to that, requiring a zerg to hit the DPS threshold. Zergs make hard to have satisfying hard content because of the sheer number of people. Teq was pretty awesome when it was first upgraded though, kudos to that. I didn’t think a fight with that many people could be that interesting.
A long “easy” phase followed by a sudden shift to one shotting (or near one shotting) in the late stages. I hate this, it makes the first phase frustrating and pointless.
Long runs to get back to where you were every time you mess up.
In games with random chance, having a very low chance to succeed on a lot of your tactics and abilities. Especially if just attacking is reliable but everything else is not
Immune to all damage until you meet a high cap. For example an enemy has armour that migrates 5000 damage per hit. If you aren’t doing more than that you are doing literately nothing and can not win.
Changing out the skills on your skillbar while having vague descriptions. or dumping you into a fight without giving you time to read them
Exploiting the faults in their own AI or targeting system. You don’t want to draw attention to these things! Like flooding a boss fight with minions making it hard to target them because your targeting is “will track an enemy in that general direction” or having you AI companions run into traps or one shots while you have no way to really control them.
Making enemies immune to core mechanic of a entire class. I remember some old forgotten realms having this issue. Hope you weren’t a thief because we are fighting undead again and they’re immune to crits, bleed and poison. Oh and this boss undead is also immune to CC!
Diceroll oneshots.
Very high damage and the only way to migrate that damage is kiteing in circles.

Ask in map chat or join one of the guilds you see recruiting all the time. most are willing to help.
On players having flashier gear than you….you are joining a game that is years old and a good chunk of the players you see have been playing for years. Even if they appear to be your level in WvW you are scaled up and in lowbie maps you are scaled down so they aren’t actually your level or they might be levelling alts and putting different skins on their their stuff. You’re less than a week into the game, don’t expect to have everything. The majority of players, even those with multiple level 80s and map completion do not have a legendary weapons, especially not twilight. Those are intended as very long term goals for players who like having something to work towards. They don’t even have better stats.
For most of the game you can get away with using whatever you find or craft. At level 80 you will want exotic gear. Exotic gear (which is good enough for everything but raids and high difficulty level fractals) isn’t that expensive so you don’t have to stress about it too much. Hell, if you join a guild and ask someone will probably give you some. Ascended gear is better but it is a long term goal and you don’t need to have it before you can jump into group content. If you have money problems sell crafting materials you aren’t using. Use the wardrobe features at the back to find skins you like, then you can just look up how to get that particular one.
Structured PvP (not WvW) is a level playing field. You have all skills and traits unlocked and equipped gear for PvE is only for looks. You set your stats in the PvP build tab (its one of the icons at the top of the screen in the mists). You will still get your kitten handed to you until you learn the ropes but that’s true of every PvP game I have ever played. Just don’t play ranked PvP and it should be fine. If you want to fast track your learning a bit watch some videos of your class (but don’t expect to be brilliant and do what they do right off the bat with no practice)
The crafting is…well, what it says on the tin. When you talk to the trainer for it you can ask which things you can craft with it. Decent for keeping your character geared as you level and gives you experience to help you level up faster but if you don’t want to bother with it just yet you don’t need to, in fact it might be better to just sell the materials. It’s also how you get ascended weapons and armour. If you are thinking long term and aren’t going to be making alts I would recommended going with the two that give you weapons for your class because ascended accessories, rings and amulets you get though other means and ascended armour is expensive but isn’t that big a difference. However emphasis on long term. Getting crafting to 500 is expensive and once again ascended gear is not necessary for most content. I still have not bothered fully gearing with it.
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
It’s a small message in the upper corner of your screen, just ignore it.
I’m still working things out for guard myself since I fast levelled mine to 80 but so far I prefer Sword/ Focus, Sword/torch (more for style) or sword/shield when needed to Greatsword. Greatsword is a little boring and doesn’t seem to do enough extra damage to make up for being (seemingly, I’m a guard newb remember) less versatile.
Edit: whoops old post.
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
Edit: I feel weird asking for a gem store item, especially for a shallow reason…but I would like the wanderers mark if anyone is feeling that generous. I find my human characters face a little bit boring and since she has fought many battles and faced down elder dragons I figured it would be cool if I could dye it to look like a nasty scar. Yes I am asking for aid in maiming a young woman :P.
[EU] I would be so happy if I could get a black dye. Or anything close to black. Unfortunately I don’t have enough gold to purchase one, and sometimes when I feel lucky I buy a couple of unidentified dyes, or even craft a rare gray dye, but I didn’t get a black dye so far.
For which armour and what sections of it if you don’t mind me asking? there are some cheaper dyes that look close to black (or more black than black) on certain things but not at all on others, the midnight dyes for example. You might want to give them a look if you haven’t already and then maybe post if one of them looks al right so if anyone has a smaller budget they can still help out.

I’ve seen on countless sites that GW2 in on the top mostp layed MMOs out there, mostly in second or third place.
I also noticed a lot of the controversy caused by the expansion — more related about its content, features, perfomance and price.
I’m on a weak laptop, but I manage to run GW2 with average 25-30 fps in all of Tyria. Sadly my fps are below 10 in HoT, but I manage to play it if I select the lowest graphical setup available.
I don’t really like the new maps. They’re really hard and I feel lost. I prefer to play by myself and when I bring a friend we just rush it. I also have died a lot.
There are way too many threads complaining about GW2: HoT. Many people have left because of the expansion and another handful of players avoid the expansion like the plague. I also heard that the HoT sales were dreadful. Is this true?
hey man, i hear you. tbh, me and my guildmates, started playing since the betas. we kept at a solid pace of playing up until the release of the HOT. we stopped playing, why?
because we felt short changed. think of it like we felt we were robbed at some point. here’s why. we bought the game for $60 the gw2 original game, which we enjoyed without a doubt. and when we heard that the game was going to be for free, we were like oh okay thats cool. so more people could play.. But then we thought, how does the pre-paid players differ from the new free guys who play now? whats the $60 advantage over the new ones?
free story expansions? more character slots? which are more or less UNLOCKABLE as a free player, and a FRIGGIN AESTHETIC SET.. thats all?
and those who would opt to buy the HOT is the SAME PRICE as the original game?!?!
so we thought maybe an incentive would be nice to the OLD players who built this game’s pillars and reputation, maybe arenanet would give us like a discount on the HOT, i mean for the existing players… maybe we play $30 more for expansion? seemed fair. but noooo… arenanet wants to milk our wallets.we found it unfair.. a lot of us did. and to think, we beta players believed that we would be taken care of. veterans of the game are then shrugged off to the sides… no mere compensation for the hours we put into the game….
all we asked for was a mere respectful “discount” to the pre-buyers of the game.
so what did we get from the $60 before?
a friggin set, extra expansion slots, inventory slots, adventure content..and to think, aside from the set, the others mentioned could be farmed for within the game. great sale value for $60…. what a rip off.
i dont hate the game. i loved the game for all its content… we just felt short changed and very disappointed with how they, arenanet, wont give an acceptable compensation for the veterans.
sorry for the rant. i just thought i could share my guild’s, my friends’, side on this matter.
goodluck to you mate! i hope arenanet serves you guys better than they did us.
Free players are HEAVILY restricted. They can’t buy and sell stuff on the trading post. They can’t talk in map chat. They don’t get daily log in rewards. In fact it’s very very difficult for free to play players to make money at all, or get ascended gear.
Try that without laurels one day (which mostly come from log in rewards they don’t get). Not being able to buy and sell freely, or access a guild bank, or talk in map chat is a major handicap. It’s more like an unlimited demo than the full game.
You really should try a brand new free account with no help for a while, because you really have no idea of the limitations it comes with.
Not to mention unless you bought it right before it went FTP you also got to play it long before the FTP players did. I can buy games I bought for $60 years ago for less than $10. I’m not being screwed over by this, it’s just how it goes. They don’t need to compensate you for the hours put into a game because playing the game is entertainment, not a job. Presumably you were playing because it benefited you.
That said a discount would have been nice because it’s a bit pricey for an expansion.
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
Are the thieves meant to be taking techniques from anything specific? Ash legion would be training theirs in a specific way but I was under the impression that for the most it’s more a role/type rather than anything tied to an organisation or a solid lore root.
Plant man!
It’s a mix of the cultural sets. Most of weapons are warden (t3 cultral) as well. What can I say? I like the living equipment theme.

The female one seems to but the male one doesn’t as far as I can see. Any particular reason why? It’s not a huge issue but it looks kinda weird when only your face is glowing.
So basically I just need to lvl a rev to 80 to get the pieces via unlocking all the skills?
Nope, you have to do a collection for each part.

All of those have a perquisite of unlocking Rev skills. That sucks.
Edit: you know what? it’s not that bad. I still don’t like it at all and at very least I hope they stop time gating crafting but I was being a bit harsh.
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
I don’t think you could play a skritt unless you were a special snowflake one. Don’t they have variable intelligence based in the number around (or at least need multiple communicating to complete a complex though due to their low attention span)? A single skritt is too stupid to be the PC.
I would love to play a centaur but that wouldn’t wok in this game for obvious reason.
On the tengu gender issue I did see this the other day
http://vivianekosty.tumblr.com/post/140142339712/a-little-while-ago-i-had-an-assignment-where-i-am
It’s not lupus.
Where is this thing? xD
Hey I know I’m going through a rough patch right now but calling me a thing is a bit harsh.
(it’s my character, for anyone wondering how that happened it was when talking to a NPC. When the NPC was suppose to be talking their mouth didn’t move, instead my characters face twisted up and their mouth started moving. I assume that somehow his animations got triggered on my character and the deformity is because of the difference in animations for a norn face and charr face.)
Going to have to put it out of it’s misery.
defintatly not the lighting ankitten ot sure what u mean by outfit selected. hero and wardrobe panel show one thing in game show a different set
You should also see a tab called “outfits” in the hero panel. Outfits completely replace the appearance of armour separately to what you have applied to your equipment and can be toggled on and off whenever you want. You probably have one toggled on.
I’m from NZ as well, it’s not a cultural thing and certainty not because we apparently “don’t have it as bad”.
Preferably it would save the traits, armour and weapons + allowed you to write a description but I would be glad even if they simply put in a way to save traits.
You know what the standard group make up you see all the time in fantasy is? 3 or 4 guys and 1 girl. You can deal with more female characters in something that is not a rom com for once.

How much dodging will I have to do in solo and group PvE? Is there a keyboard setup that’s recommended for fast, easy dodging?
Thanks again for all the help!
I have my dodge bound to mouse 3 (the mouse wheel). I don’t know if that would comfortable for you but it was helpful for me. I don’t like double tap to dodge because I end up doing it by accident on JPs.
I would like tengu but they won’t do it. The armour sets are designed for humans and they already don’t modify most of the armour properly for the Charr. The tengu would be worse.
Besides, most guys wont want to kitten to it so they won’t be popular. They are more likely to go with largos.
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
Things like class balance are complicated and if there is one thing I have learned from being invoked in official game forums it is that developer can’t be open with their player base about things like that because people will take “thinking about doing this” or, “I have read and considered what you said” as “we are going to do this and will have it done by the end of the week”.
There were lions in GW, I had some in my menagerie. I think they were in Elona though and gw2 doesn’t take us there.
When you burn wood and leaf matter you’re usually burning stuff that is dead and dry not healthy plants. I don’t think sylvari would be inherently more flammable than anything else. Hell they would probably be less flammable than a Charr who are covered in fur (and would then live up to their name)
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
Unless you want you character to a) look like everyone else and b) be kittenbait anything other than the underboob armour.
I like most of the medium armour (over saturation of trench coats aside). Falconers and inquest are nice if you want somthing sleeker/lighter.
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
I hate the light armour in this, most of it make you look like an ornate stripper and the rest is just ugly. If you could at least have normal (not harem) pants you could make make something ok but I’m not sure they are capable of resisting the urge to attach butt flaps and frills.
Na, I think she’s been pretty constantly reckless. She’s book smart and creative. That doesn’t mean she’s wise enough to make good decisions. I know people who are very very smart straight A students but always make bad decision regarding their own personal safety and health so it’s not necessarily unrealistic.
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
I would assume not since they don’t really seem to have a reason for formal marriage. They don’t raise there own cubs (usually) because they get sent to a fahrer. There are military based and get assigned where the fahrer says they are suited so you don’t get combining business and wealth and their family is more their warband than biological parents. You don’t have one tied into the home and looking after kids while needing another to provide income. They would pretty high mortality rate as well and unless they are in same warband would be moved around a lot so they probably don’t have a thing about pairing up for life.

They also make a comment about your hair standing on end which excludes bald or wood hairstyle characters!
I assumed that they were discussing Taimi…
Haha maybe, my brother was talking to me for that so I missed a bit of the conversation.
Yeah that was…strange. I see the pale tree all the time guys!
If I was them I’d also be a bit worried that another Sylvari went through that machine since they already had scarlet (even for a non Sylvari I would be worried) and another Sylvari going off their nut (pun not intended) with similar symptoms to her recently.
They also make a comment about your hair standing on end which excludes bald or wood hairstyle characters!
I use A because I use ESDF for movement. This is mostly because it frees up keys as I also play an Ele’s who have 4 different keys for class mechanic skills (Mes dose as well but it’s a bit less of a problem with them) and my hands are too small to be able to comfortably reach the F(x) keys. I used to use ctrl + movement keys when I was still using WASD but that was a bit awkward.
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
Necro isn’t my main but it is the class I find easiest to just solo everything with. When I did map completion of Orr Ele was somewhat challenging, it was easy with Thief and Mes due to teleporting and stealth tricks allowing me to bypass things like champs on SPs and my Necro just didn’t need to bypass things. They definitely don’t feel squishy to me at least not compared to the other classes I play. I can also easily swap out to different still viable builds some of which play more actively and other play very relaxed. I like them PVP though the lack of stability hurts sometimes and I’m not into it enough to truly say whether they are actually underpowered or overpowered.
Group PVE is where being a Necro hurts. I’ve only taken Necro into dungeons a few times because I feel like I should be using my other characters for it because they don’t feel useful in may situations. They can do well and can be a great help in some specific scenarios but other classes can bring more to the table generally while still doing good damage.
Edit due to unnecessary censorship (seriously? this thing censors the middle of words or when the end and start of two words happens to make a swear?)
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
Probably because it’s suppose to be slow healing not burst which you have direct heals for. It would also make make stacking even more ridicules.
Edit: Why do regen boon on a Necro? other classes have better access to that boon. I think necros are better at damage migration and condition management if you want to take a support role. It’s not about healing, it’s about stopping people needing to be healed. Zerk =/= no support.
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
Argh, I hope not. That’s actually one of things I hate in stories. It makes a character seem like someone’s “I’m just naturally special and better than everyone” sue and if its a games makes it seem like the writers are more interested in stroking the players ego than actually telling a good story.
Except our characters ARE just naturally better than everyone. It’s shown repeatedly throughout your personal story and in gameplay by making NPCs incredibly weak compared to you. It’s the reason why we’re the heroes and not the rank and file soldiers.
Heck, the Street Rat Human PS choice alone makes the entirety of the Seraphs look incompetent if you choose to help Quinn.
NPC’s are also much weaker for game-play reasons.. You want them there but you want the player the one doing most the fighting and determining the outcome of the battle not having NPC’s fight for you while you sit back. It means they don’t have scale up the fight so much to compensate for NPC allies which could go really badly if the AI dose stupid things and they all die. Trahearne can summon several flesh golems where I can only summon one and every mesmer in the story seem to be able to do things my character cannot do. Its gamplay/story segregation.
There is also a difference between you being an exceptionally good fighter or commander and just being better at near everything with a outright superior mind. It’s lazy cheap writing.
The thing was the Seraph was bad writing to. You shouldn’t be making a character important by making everyone else incompetent.
(edited by Demented Sheep.1642)
Technically maybe but this happened fairly frequently to both genders in the PS .
She also isn’t one of the few (or only) female characters in the story who is then being victimised to provide motivation for a male character while doing little else which is why this trope gets problematic. Its not “oh no, a women died” its “women are only in this story to play victim or LI and have their death focussed on for cheap emotional impact”.
She was stuffed in fridge yes, but in this game there is no reason make this a gender thing. I’m sorry if I’m unnecessary chastising you and this in’t about gender you just used the gender specific rather than generic label because of other reasons.

So anyone think Marjory is gonna take up Belinda’s sword and use it for vengeance? Great swords confirmed for Necro’s?
Speaking of necromancers, why can’t she just resurrect her? Or is there more to it than a spell?
I don’t think necromancers can actually resurrect someone. Reanimation is just using the materials.
Although now I’m imagining Marjory going nuts, reanimating her sisters corpse, talking to it like it’s alive while manufacturing replies and patching her up when she starts rotting to try and pretend everything’s all fine. Complete with eye twitching and manic high pitched laughs naturally.
