Second Rant About Cosplaying

I’m sorry, but the only reason I keep seeing here to gut the current system is because people have issues coming up with original names. If the desired name for your cosplay character is taken, get clever/creative with it. People named The Inedible Hulk and The Incredible Hunk are far more amusing than their counterpart of origin, The Incredible Hulk. Think outside the box, people.

On the other hand, if you’re having issues with short names, Khaleesi Stark, One Winged Sephiroth, consider a random name generator instead. It can only help you in these cases.

On an aside note, in all of my 12 characters on my account, only once I have encountered a name being taken. It was Razzle Dazzle (bet you can even guess what class it was going to be for). In the end I ended up with a name that fits how I view the character even better.

Also, your rant is all over the place and completely ignores the point PopeUrban was getting at. The point being that Arenanet has a rule in place so that if by some random occurrence Disney doesn’t like your Mickey Mouse Asura, they can tell you to change it without further argument. You took his quote and ran yourself off a cliff with it.

It is “original” to make cosplay characters, because you need to be oftenly in games very creative to find and use the right things that just the game you play offers for you, and combine the looks of things that the game provides for you to make out of all the stuff something, that actually looks pretty well similar to an other character you might know from an other IP/franchise outside of GW2.

No…. it is not original. It is by definition the exact opposite of original. I don’t think you understand that word. It is more challenging to make a convincing cosplay. Not original.

How would the Marionette fight become a fractal? We required about 25 players per lane, 5 lanes and fractals are 5 players.

The Marionette is a boss fight, it doesn’t belong to a raid either.

It could work like swamp, dredge or underwater, where there are different paths. You get a defend event in one lane for a period of time, and then depending on the fractal level, you get one of the five boss fights. Something similar could be done to add it as a personal story instance.

Heroes, thats how it would work.

Running it in a 5man FOTM is not the way. It would not be nearly as good as when it was in the open world.

But if we had heroes that we could organized…it could work.

OR they could just put it back where it was before. There is no need whatsoever to stuff the Marionette behind fractals or turn it in to a raid. Put the darned thing back in to the open world where it was to begin with and add it to the boss rotation.

If the lore of it not fitting the current time frame bugs people that much, all they have to do is swap out the framing dialogues made by Scarlet with some Inquest members and say they hijacked her project.

I am genuinely curious, did they ever give a reason for why it was removed, other than to keep up the temporary nature of the Living Story at the time?

List of W/Bosses who need rework...Go!

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

The eq wandering is far too extreme…unleashing bosses to death touch or nuke entire maps…no fun…but say instead of teq always coming bad to one spot he lands up north or to the west or east and each place has diff mechanics

Maybe I am a masochist, or maybe it’s just from my Diablo 1 & 2 roots, but having a big bad spawning at random and wrecking up the place sounds incredibly awesome. I still miss the Marionette fight and it nuking the the entire map upon failure, though I do see the downside for people trying to map complete during such circumstances.

That being said…. Arenanet, you can still shoehorn that Marionette fight in to the boss rotation. Seriously, just change out the cutscene with Scarlet talking and say it was hijacked by the Inquest. The Vinewrath just doesn’t satisfy my Marionette withdrawals.

But as for bosses currently needing a rework, I think Jormag and the Karka Queen are at the top of my list, and maybe Taidha Covington. That whole event needs a serious overhaul, and I still think Legendary armor is going to be made from scraps of her door.

Oh Fire Elemental…. gone are the days of bodies littering your floor and people screaming “GET OFF THE BRIDGE!” Those were the days.

WvW big overhaul later this year will be too late…:(

This, and the sad part is WvW in GW2 could be absolutely epic compared to any other MMO in history. Many games have tried hard to have the kind of pvp participation that WvW has attracted here in Gw2 and its an opportunity missed if its not saved and expanded upon.

And if something is going on I’d be sharing that with the community and praying it helps to slow the exodus that is, and has been occurring….

Someone with vision…please wake up.

This is a game created by sickeningly pacifistic hippies, where every character in the player factions who isn’t killed off as a villain, is a blatant Mary Sue goodie-two-shoes that can do no wrong, has no flaws, and does everything for the greater good and democracy and world peace.

This is a game where humans, after having one of their major kingdoms OBLITERATED by Charr, are now holding hands with said Charr and singing songs, instead of brutally massacring them in the name of righteous vengeance.

This is a game where there is ZERO way to negatively affect other players, where everything is shared, like mining nodes and kills and everything.

ArenaNet is the most blatantly, disgustingly carebear game developer in the history of the video game industry.

There’s absolutely nothing surprising about them being utterly incompetent in regards to developing content where players fight each other.

If they were competent at it, they would’ve implemented player factions (by race) and world PvP in the actual game world.

But they didn’t. They chose to go the hippie route. There’s no reason to expect them to suddenly become competent at any PvP content.

I had a hard time reading your ranting after your Charr post, since you clearly haven’t been paying attention to anything at all in regards to the story. Or Ascalon, or Divinity’s Reach, or anything at all in regards to Charr-Human interaction. You didn’t even pay attention back in Eye of the North.

Outfits trend... Are players happy about it?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

I really like the outfits I have bought, but I love being able to mix and match armor pieces.

What I really do not care for is how few armor sets were added with the expansion versus how many outfits they have been shuffling out. I get that outfits are easier, but I feel like they took the separation of armors in game/outfits in gemstore and have used it as a get out of jail free card when it comes to making more armor skins.

Oh yes, one more thing…

I’d forgotten this, but I do approve of the Shatterer update, at least in theory. (We’ll have to see how the new encounter plays to know if it’s good, naturally.)

I’m sad to see you telling us about it, though. This is one of the few cases where I think it would have been good to NOT warn of any of the changes, and just put them in. Especially if the encounter starts off the same as always, then changes.

Imagine doing a Shatterer encounter as it is now, and then he suddenly roars “Insects begone!” and lets loose a massive breath attack on the “safe” area that also turns anyone downed into crystal. A quick sweep of the wing follows, shattering and killing anyone crystalized/downed by the attack.

People would freak, and then flock to the new encounter. And from that day on, every serious world boss would be approached a little more carefully after every major patch, just in case…

You are severely overestimating the amount of people who actually read the forums/patch notes. I expect to see lots of people freaking out when this actually launches. Mweheheh.

You DO NOT want gliding in main tyria [Merged]

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: DragonflyDusk.6582

DragonflyDusk.6582

I would but it’s just not technically feasible and the old maps were designed without gliding in mind. Trivializing jumping puzzles and intentionally maze like or otherwise inconvenient layouts (especially Straights of Devastation and other Orr maps) isn’t something they’d want. Not to mention going through the map potentially. Besides, there’d be no real utility in it anyway for most of the core maps.

I keep seeing that word. I do not think it means what nay-sayers think it means.

And on another note, are there any ledges I can use to glide over to the UPDATED SHATTERER?

No that map tends to be very flat with short hills even if you could. Updated Shatterer? It’s about time. As for trivializing let’s say you’re playing a single player game. You’re in the early stages and have weak weapons and powers. Now, if you enter a cheat code and get endgame stuff you’ll trivialize the early stuff since the game doesn’t assume you’ll have those resources at that stage. Why utilize skill with low level stuff and abilities when you can nuke everything with endgame stuff that assumes you’ll be in situations where you’ll actually need it?

Also, I like Gravity Falls

Ah, but how exactly is it going to trivialize jumping puzzles? Gliding takes you down steadily, whereas jumping puzzles typically go up, though I think there are a tiny portion that go down. It can keep you from losing all of your progress in some of them and avoid a stack of dead bodies piling up on the ground, but it can’t make that awkward jump for you. That’s more of what I was getting at.

Gravity Falls stole my sanity. =)

I suppose gliding mastery will be available to everyone? including core and f2p accounts? if not they are going to feel excluded, not being able to follow a commander to say one example. I can imagine already, if you cant fly, get out!

It will be based on the mastery system. If you have gliding mastery in maguuma, you’ll have it in Tyria.

ANet Sean Source
EDIT: Sorry about the misunderstanding. That line specifically is referring to the currently existing “Glider Basics” mastery, not a new one.

Next post:
Anet_Sean
Apologies, I mis-read your post. Earlier in development you needed to earn a new Mastery ability to glide in Central Tyria, but we changed that so that the Gliding masteries you already earned just work in Central Tyria by default. I thought you were referring to that, and not the blog post.

If they feel left out, they can always buy the expansion and get it. A business doesn’t hand out for free things that are the big attractions for an expansion.

Interesting info. So ArenaNet was actually doing the RIGHT thing first, then changed mind to force people to buy expansion. For me is really obvious, the core Tyria mastery was intented to be for everyone for free.

You do realize that has nothing to do with offering it for free to non-payers, right? The difference is between spending more points to RELEARN gliding outside of Maguuma, versus just letting us keep the progress we have already made.

Also, they are f2p. If they want full access…. they need to pay. That’s how it works.

There is an old saying “Why buy the cow when you get the milk for free?” If they are f2p, of course they are going to be excluded in some fronts. Arenanet isn’t always going to hand out things that may be viewed as incentives to pay to upgrade.

These type of comments you should keep to yourself. There is no reason for adding gliding. Since there is nothing in the current zones that require gliding, they were not designed for gliding and will screw up existing content. Yeah … it does make sense.

Well, that was incredibly rude.

Also, I’d like some firm citations of how this will screw up existing content. You keep saying that, but can’t seem to give any actual evidence.

Suck at Love (Banned)

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: DragonflyDusk.6582

DragonflyDusk.6582

They admitted it after trying to make Anet look like they were the bad guys banning innocent people, posting a ridiculous YouTube video, and then hours of silence (and video removal) after Anet came out and stated they had indeed cheated with information to back up those claims.

It is one thing to say you’re sorry, a mistake was made, it won’t happen again…another to deflect, lie, etc.

The brother did apologize in his reddit post. And he explained why he lied – “we outsiders” simply can’t know if he really didn’t remember his so-called “one-time” cheating before he and his sister made the rage video, or not. And the video removal is perfectly fine, ever heard of damage control? Not everyone reads the forums, many ppl who might watch the video could really believe Anet are the bad guys here. Taking the video down doesn’t hurt anyone, right?

The brother apologized for everything on reddit, as for the sister I dunno, so is there really MORE need for the hate? Can’t the “friendliest MMO community” just stop behaving like a mob of vultures?

“We simply can’t know…” The evidence is certainly stacked high, and not in their favor.

Apologizing after you are called out for what you did after smearing someone else through the mud isn’t apologizing. It’s attempting to save face, and it is incredibly hard to accept as sincere. Nothing about that “apology” showed anything but an attempt to save face after getting caught red-handed in the cookie jar. Before the “apology” came forth there were people in the comments section that even predicted that this would turn in to a “It was me! Take me instead!” scenario.

They didn’t remove the video for damage control to Arenanet. It was to save face on their part after they were called out by devs. Honestly, most of the rage I have been seeing has been more directed at the fact they lied to their followers on youtube rather than simply coming out about this at the start. It’s called digging your own grave.

If they actually forgot about a hack they installed for a game, it makes me wonder how many cheats they have done in the past, personally. That just doesn’t seem like something you forget easily, or maybe the conscience isn’t strong with that one.

May I ask why you sound like a person calling for forgivness of cheating? You’ve called out the GW2 community for being pleased hackers were banned.

Jeez… I never said to simply forgive them. They are wrong a 100%. All I said was they are already punished enough with temporarily loosing their accounts and being shamed here and on reddit. No need for a crowd of forks and burning torches running after them, or is this the proper way to address cheaters?

And you are vastly exaggerating about the reaction over here on the official forums in this thread. Even on reddit I was seeing a lot of sympathy going their way. I didn’t have much to begin with, but the non-apology just tanked whatever was there. They are no more or less human than the people they lied to.

I believe it is, especially when those cheaters attempted to tarnish the game when they were banned. The cover-up is often worse than the crime.

Indeed.

Before HoT, I always had a legitimate chance of acquiring a festival or event skin. The requirements were sensible.

Since HoT, I present Nightfury and Winter’s Presence….. The requirements for these skins are just nauseating.

When people talk about the grind in HoT, this is exactly the kind of thing they are talking about. You either have to grind for those drinks during the festival OR spend a ton of gold on drinks( cynical gold sinks also a trend since HoT)

On a side note Jumping puzzle requirement is crap. Prior to HoT jp’s were just a sideshow attraction. HoT is trying to turn my rpg into a platformer and that sucks.

Case in point, the Halloween back piece from 2012:

http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mad_Memoires:_Complete_Edition

Was received after doing a quest involving going places, defeating evil and generally just playing with other players. Everyone that tried to get one had one. There was no elitism involved and the gold sink/grind was non-existent.

Fast forward 3 years and we have nightfury

Does nobody at ANet see the difference here? I know I sure do!

“I want X, but I don’t want to do Y so they should cater to me and make it so I can get X without doing Y!”

We’ve seen this with legendary armor, backpieces, and now this. I wonder what’s next.

Newsflash:
For almost every person playing this game, there’s bound to be some reward they will never be able to get. The game was never designed such that playing how you want will get you any reward you want, nor should it be

And you have all year to work on that legendary armor. The two are in no way at all the same. There should NEVER be this kind of grind and restrictive nature on holiday festivals. There’s plenty of other grindy-costliness throughout the year. They never should have shoved it in to Wintersday where it was previously absent.

In previous Wintersday festivals everyone had a pool of options that allowed them to work towards the ultimate reward and leave out something that they either hated and/or happened to be terrible at. There was no need to suddenly change that this year.

Newflash: That’s a lie. Wintersday was not designed that way in previous years.

All I really have to say is I have disabilities that do not allow me to do jumping puzzles, and I DEFINITELY don’t have the spare time/money to be grinding constantly for drinks and whatnot. It isn’t really about making it easier. It’s about making it possible to do in the first place.

The more time I spend doing this event, and the more time I see such terrible negativity (one could argue that those who don’t have any issues and don’t want to change the current system are the ones with entitlement issues), the more it drains out of me. I do like the Christmas stuff, and I DO want to earn the skins and titles, but it’s just too much to ask of my, physically and mentally.

I just want to play video games and have fun. For me, it’s an escape from real life. It’s disheartening to see that that doesn’t seem to matter to anyone here.

The holidays are an incredibly stressful time for me, and I used to find a lot of relief in Guild Wars festivities as a nice distraction. That is so far gone this year it’s not even funny

Updates about Wintersday

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: DragonflyDusk.6582

DragonflyDusk.6582

I thought the amount of drinks was ridiculously high, but I guess it doesn’t matter because the odds of me actually getting through the jumping puzzle once is looking slimmer than slim. I liked that in previous years we could all avoid at least one activity we were bad at or didn’t enjoy and still receive the meta-reward. What happened this year? And quite frankly, why isn’t the shoulder skin a meta-completion reward?

I never thought I would link Guild Wars holidays with stress, but I certainly do now. Between the beer grind and jumping puzzle I’m 3 days in and already thinking about just saying “screw it,” and I love that shoulder piece. The holidays are usually when I dive head first in and willingly spend hours and hours in game…. but this year I’m already wanting to quit the events because I’m just not feeling it anymore. What was once a welcoming festival feels like a massive chore. Back in the day you used to give us holiday hats for completing silly and rather low-key holiday events. What happened to that celebratory spirit?

And the lack of Toypocalypse Parties… again. Seriously.

While the bulk of this post is negative, I will say that I DO love the new consumable items.

And last thought, is the achievement going to retain it’s progressive next year? Or will it cease to exist when Wintersday 2016 comes around?

The Personal Story has always been one of my favorite things on this game, but I’ve had to take a break from the HoT story for a while.

The bugs in some of them are bad, and I don’t enjoy repeating the same instance over and over, hoping to get one without the bug or having to do some workaround because of the bugs. I want to wait to do the majority of the story once it works as it was actually designed to work.

Second thing about the story – I’m doing it with some guildies, but we can only ever get so far where we have to stop because of the mastery blocking. This is really annoying if you’re doing the story with friends (I mean, it’s an MMO, right? Play it with others, right?)

But it’s like they didn’t think through how everyone is going to play the game at different times, for different amounts of time, doing different things, so getting everyone back on the same page because we all earn our masteries at different paces is really hard and is going to more or less wreck the ability to do the story with others for some people.

I find a lot of the story challenging enough that I want to play it with friends, but we keep getting stopped because of the need to go earn our masteries and we don’t earn them at the same rate.

I am really not looking forward to replaying the story with my cousin for this reason. She has very little time to play as it is, but we used to enjoy just going through the main story together. It was already awkward when the Personal Story became gated behind levels forcing her to stop and level before proceeding, and now the masteries are going to be a nightmare.

precursor collection is a ripoff

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: DragonflyDusk.6582

DragonflyDusk.6582

I know I’m going to get a bit of hate for this, but I feel it has to be said in order to keep things in perspective:

The idea of crafting a precursor was to remove the insane randomness of getting a drop, not to hand it to you on a golden platter.

Actually, every single thread about precursor crafting for the last 2 weeks has had multiple posters saying this exact same thing, so likely, everyone has already seen this comment before.

I do think the fact that so many of a precursors’ collection items involves RNG is a real problem, though. Since, you know, this was supposed to be a non-RNG way to get one.

It was? I don’t recall Anet stating that their goal was to eliminate RNG from getting a precursor. I think that’s a MASSIVE fallacy that players have created to continue to complain that it’s too hard to get a precursor.

See, I know Anet is more clever than that. They would have never ever claimed precursor crafting had no RNG element to it. That would be downright stupid since fundamentally, anything crafted from items that drop from mobs is based on RNG.

If you thought that precursor crafting eliminated RNG, it’s only because you wanted it to be true, not because it was a realistic thing that was actually going to happen.

Then what was the point of making them craft-able? I am genuinely asking this out of curiosity, because it doesn’t seem like it makes any sense to go through all of this trouble to implement a precursor crafting system and then just make everyone jump through rng hoops again.

But I will concede that sometimes they hit the 90-100 gold range for about a week, then they start steadily rising to the 120 range, then when off the market for 1 ticket, they pop up to 2-300 or higher range.

They all follow this pattern. This isn’t “it’s low because they are ugly.” Now if they are hanging out around that price in a couple of months… then they clearly weren’t so popular. “Ugly” is still subjective, however.

We really could use a toy and tonic tab, like the one for Minis. :\

And I support your request for a quick-slot for food and other consumables.

And I’m on the opposite end and never get any of them. I wish you could trade them so I could just buy a raven & owl off of someone.

Raven is on the trading post to buy.

The mini? I must confirm this!

Edit: Uh no. That is the mail carrier.

The dungeon is back the dungeon is back the dungeon is back the dungeon is back the dungeon is back the dungeon is back the dungeon is back the dungeon is back the dungeon is backthe dungeon is baaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

THE HYPE IS REAL.

Thank you Arenanet! Halloween is my favorite holiday, in game and out! I’ll be celebrating the launch of Heart of Thorns in the service of our infamous King Thorn … As my engineer Artemisia Thorn. There’s a lot of thorn in that paragraph.

Halloween is coming!

My only regret is that this isn’t arriving sooner. Not because I want to balance between HOT and Halloween, I just want more Tyrian Halloween in my life.

Hooray for Halloween! Thanks Gaile for the update.

Holiday items should have never been reduced to RNG, but rather been fun items that you were able to guarantee receiving (even if you had to make choices) playing through the content. And this whole notion of “prestige” that some of you cling to is as bad as a Real Housewife crying over someone getting the same Gucci clothes a year later. Its okay if someone is wearing your shoes.

And you know what? I would LOVE it if the Mad Memoirs and other skins would make a return for the people who missed them. I experienced the first year content, and I have my memories. I would like other people to get to enjoy things from the previous years rather than find excuses to hold things over someone’s head to make myself feel better about myself.

They better not put the Greatsaw skin back in the game. I bought mine for an insanely amount of gold. It was a few hundred past a thousand.

takes a drink

Do you take a drink whenever you see one of the usuals crying over potentially losing “prestige”, or would that be pushing liver failure?

Yes, hearing Mordremoth talk was pretty awesome to me.

Hearing this dragon talk at the beginning and end was the most exciting part for me. I wish Zhaitan would have talked to players. It made him feel like a dumb beast to me. Now mordremoth has that feel of a sinister boss.

Maybe Zhaitan’s vocal chords were too decomposed to talk. Maybe all he really wanted was a sandwich.

Is there anything wrong with enjoying characters in the game? I already knew the threat was a elder dragon, I think it’s more of a shock that a main character is missing from your characters team.

It’s not meant as a criticism in any way, it is a good thing ppl are invested, I merely commented thinking the talking point would be round the end of the trailer.

I can have that discussion once my engineer’s hammer is firmly in my grasp.

YES!

…. Was it just me or did Kasmeer look like she was wearing different armor? It went fast, so it was hard to tell.

I just paused it on youtube and Kasmeer’s armour looks the same as her usual one. Did notice Marjory is using her greatsword though, don’t recall if she had already started doing that yet?

Yeah, I rewatched it and she’s definitely the same. I think I got blinded by the hype(er) beams .

Voice actors strike

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

DragonflyDusk.6582

I personally love my female sylvari engineer’s voice, so I hope it doesn’t hurt any future voice recordings.

You just have to compare American voice actors to Japanese voice actor to realise that many American voice actors are terrible!

I refuse to watch anime dubs, firstly due to the obvious americanisation of the original animes’ dialogue, and second american voice actors have no feeling, or emotion when they do their lines.
With Japanese voice actors, you can tell they are putting in the effort to make the character seem real. American voice actors are just drone people reading off a script. Just no love for the work they are doing.

Do forget a strike, they need a pay cut!

Just gonna leave that there for you.

GetOverIt.

I don’t mind people selling paths, achievements, and the things arenanet has already said are not punishable, but for crying out loud sellers. Can you at least list under the categories? I’m getting sick of seeing people selling Fractal level 50 under the general tab. There is a Fractal tab, use it. Same goes for the dungeon sellers that do the same thing.

“Man, that last Mordrem event sure was grindy! Why are you forcing me to grind?!”

“Oh no, they nerfed key farming! How will I grind for keys now?! ANET Y U NO LET ME GRIND!?”

Actually, Key-framing SAVED me from grinding, because other people do it for the scraps, the prices of BL skins stayed lower and more affordable. But keep ignoring context.

Patch Today: Key Farming Impacted

As for number 3 those players were exploiting, and it’s surprising how long the key farm thing lasted. I knew they’d eventually do so. I never got around to doing it myself though

For me, the only thing that made the Black Lion Keys justifiable to farm was that the results from the chests were RNG. Paying real money for RNG is just ridiculous.

That said, I only farmed the keys a few times (usually when bored or wanted a skin on sale ) because it gets tedious really fast. I hold no ill will to those who could bare doing it over and over again. In fact, I appreciate it because it kept the price of Black Lion skins at reasonable levels.

See, I almost never key farmed, and if I did it was for maybe a week, then I wouldn’t do it again till halfway through the year. It is completely the prices of the Black Lion skins that has me freaking out about this. I’m not interested in turning this in to my second job, so if those keys dont have a significant, realistic drop increase, I’m going to pretty much say adios to anymore BL skins. And I never really had that many to begin with.

You mean if I buy keys I can gamble for one, right?

No you have to buy keys for 150 gems for a chance to activate the protection of the spleen guard.

xD

Other highlights from the patch notes include:

-Laurel vendors now sell 1 hour of the new Item Booster, replacing the Laureate Magic Find Booster.
-Laurel vendors now sell 1 hour of the new Experience Booster, replacing the Laureate Experience Booster

So no more stacking that extra Laureate booster, ‘cause it doesn’t exist.

curls up in corner This patch was less of a patch and more of a dressed-up kick in the spleen.

for 450 gems you can purchase a spleen guard.

I hope the minuscule increase in keys sales makes you happy, Arenanet, because the inevitable skyrocket of BL skin prices is going to give many of us something very different from happy.

Unless, you know, we actually get keys as reasonable drops now, but I wouldn’t hold my breath for that.

We still haven't had a final word on racials

in Revenant

Posted by: DragonflyDusk.6582

DragonflyDusk.6582

I’m guessing they might be able to be slotted into any Legend, which could be pretty convenient to replace some of the less useful Legend skills…

The problem is that they are balanced around having 1 skill bar and not 2 for the right half of your bar. They are also not made with energy in mind and would need to be changed to work with revenant, but would muddy the purity of each legends skill set playstyle. I thought I had mentioned it before on one of the initial streams, but racial skills won’t be usable on revenant.

I’m not going to lie, this really bugs me. Not even being given the choice to use the racial skills seems pretty poor, especially since one of the biggest critiques the Revenant has been given is lack of diversity. Is there really no way to allow people to select racial traits on a Revenant for the 2 individual legends you have equipped?

Also, I’m agreeing with the people asking for a Mistfire Wolf mini pet at the very least.

The Chronomancer’s skills Echo of Memory and Tides of Time are a nod to the time traveling Ecco the Dolphin and his sequel game, The Tides of Time.

I love you, Arenanet.
