Your skin will wrinkle and your youth will fade, but your soul is endless.
Or, in many cases in the US, we are not charged any tax, at all.
I can certainly say this is true in my state. When I buy a $25 Gem Card, I pay exactly $25. No tax added, which is rather surprising since my state loooooves to tax everything,
I actually prefer the old style, I actually enjoy watching them.
But then I also watch the entire vista camera thingy, even if I’ve been to that vista hundreds of times already.
who the hell is aneth
My thoughts exactly.
Did they mean Annette? Think she must have been one of the developers at Verant Interactive.
~brings back fond memories of Annette Funicello~
*We need more trenchcoats. *
Said no one evrr.
Pls!
What? You just said it right now.
I wasn’t aware that guild Wars 2 was dead, especially since I’m playing nightly…four hours.
Am I in a fractal or something?
This idea would fit perfectly for one of my characters, as she is a member of the Priory, wears the traditional Priory clothes and weapons, and is an aspiring archaeologist.
Yes, I like this idea very much.
OP could always go into options and unbind the dodge & jump key, and stand still whenever pressing a skill number.
They have to be careful not to kill anything after level 20, either, otherwise they might become level 21 and then they lose the prospect of playing gw1
Op would also have to un-equip their glider. No gliding away from enemies!
Solo, but I do like to chat with my guild mates, I can at least trust them to not be jerks.
Not sure I can pick a single favorite, but I do have a few that I really like.
Glide-r-Tron: The sounds and the position of the fans as you bank and use lean techniques are really well done. As I have a family of 8 asura, this is probably my most used glider.
Classical: Same as above, the wooden creaks and groans really help make this glider come alive, and it looks great too.
Soul River: I tend to watch the humanoid figures on the wings as I glide, instead of where I’m gliding to.
Bat Wings: This was my first glider, and I still use it to this day. Simple, and still looks great.
Wings of Love: I bought this one recently for one of my more amorous characters, and it suits her perfectly. I especially love that flourishing ding sound (I don’t know what it’s really called), and the railing hearts.
If a Broom Glider ever became a thing, I would definitely get that.

Alchemy….~facedesks~
I do fish.
I swim up to a fish and jab a spear into it until it’s dead.
12 characters here, 8 of which are asura. I have 2~3 workhorse characters that get things done (dailies, gathering, fractals, dungeons, etc), the rest are mainly used for RP purposes. I currently do not have any plans for more characters, but I guess we’ll see later.
I must be one of the very few that like the new maps, including the HoT ones. ~shrugs~
I’d rather be able to sell/buy tomes on the trading post.
Wait for the expansion. I think it will have what you’re looking for.
Adding to the chorus for natural black hair styles for humans.
Yes yes yes. More ethnically black-looking hair styles for humans.
I’ve very sure you’ll see that in the next expansion.
Not worth getting, unfortunately. The recipe’s account bound, and the ingredients cost more than simply buying the food out right
I didn’t have it before, now I do. Totally worth getting for me.
I’m in complete agreement. Do the same for the mini tonic as well please!
I’m a long time Guild Wars player since release 2005. I only started playing Guild Wars 2 in March 2015. I have no problems with Living World Season 1 achievements being currently unobtainable.
I missed out and, while unfortunate, I’m ok with that.
12 characters, 8 of which are asura, so yeah, Rata Sum or Metrica Province.
I would like some long hairstyles for my Asura. !
Agreed, but all we seem to get are up-do’s.
Sometimes, I wish there were mounts in the game so people would shut the kitten up about them.
I’ve never seen anyone twist and stretch and jump so much to defend AFK farming. It’s somewhat fascinating.
I am not a PvPer by any stretch, so PvP and WvW terrify me. There’s something about it that just makes my anxiety skyrocket whenever I am in the borderlands, even when I stuck my head in there just to see if there was a zerg/organized group around to run with.
But I find that Edge of the Mists is actually easier for me to deal with. There is slower reward track gain than what you get in the WvW borderlands, even with boosters, but that might be something to look into. There’s frequently zergs running around just capping locations and there’s the occasional skirmish.
Just another suggestion to toss in the hat with the others.
That’s what I ended up doing. I’m the same as you in regards to the anxiety, except with my condition it makes my hands shake among other things (which is why I don’t PvP, it’s literally bad for my health).
However, following a zerg in EotM got the Gift of Battle reward track done eventually, but I haven’t been back since.
I might have to give in and try this YoloMouse. I’m losing my cursor all the time.
Well that’s interesting, I got a “damaged files” notification today too. However, I did do the client repair thingy (that’s the true technical term, by the way), which took about ten minutes. Played the game with no problem.
Nonono, Nick. I too want to troll and annoy level 5 characters with 500 duel requests and send them derogatory messages when they decline!!
This is pretty much the truth of the matter every time these “PvP in Open World PvE” threads pop up.
Yeah, I’m going to have to go ahead and give two thumbs down to this request.
I’ll have you know that I’m a very clean casual, thank you.
It really just depends on my mood. I’ll level an alt, get some map completion in, or work on gathering materials, or just do some role play with my wonderful guild mates.
As an RPer myself, I would love to be able to select what server I want to join a city in, like GW1 did, as opposed to going to the character screen, guest to a server, hit play, and hope for the best.
Actually, remove the mastery points and let experience bar fill up…… That way you get to enjoy whatever content you want to play in a given zone.
^
This I would like.
_________
As to the OP’s post. I like that my low levels can glide right out of the starting instance. I like that they have auto loot. I like taking a new char to the HoT and I’m able to immediately go right into the content without having to redo the mushrooms and wallows and poison areas, etc. etc for each char I have.So no. I don’t want to redo it all over again for each char.
I agree completely. Regrind all that stuff for each and every character? No thank you!
~thumbsdown~
I wasn’t aware there was such a thing as a Dead class.
I’d gladly pay $50 regardless.
In fact, considering I don’t really watch TV shows, or much of anything else online, and the fact that I play GW2 for hours nightly, I consider $50 for two years worth of entertainment very cheap.
But yeah, I’d like to see more dye channels too.
Good choices of character design, color combinations, and screenshot composition.
Well done.
I’m all for toggles and choices.
However, it amazes me that I, an ageing gamer with sometimes hard to control hands and fingers, have never had a problem with gliders in jumping puzzles, and there are so many younger (presumably) , and healthier (also presumably) people who do have problems.
We Asuran players should get a cut from all this travel, should we not? <grins>
I should get a cut of anet’s profits because I’m human like they are.
I have news for you, Anet employees also use waypoints, and pay us a fee.
I’d really like a reward track for this. I have lots of them but I have no idea which ones I’m missing.
Not a reward track, but if you go the the Hungry Cat Scavenger Hunt Wiki Page, there’s a field at the top of the list where you can enter your API key, and then the list will show you what you have by graying them out, leaving the one’s you still need easily visible.
Hope this helps.
I wonder if it’s because they’re announced, so people make a char filled with all kinds of food, and then visit the cat in the hope something fits.. ?
Given some of our playerbase, this would not surprise me. o_O
According to the trial and error reddit posts I see when news of a new home instance cat breaks out, this is exactly what some people do.
…and I thought the Pact Commander was a she!
What in the alchemy?!
I love how everyone on the internet is a Story. Plot, and Dialog expert.
I actually miss the Silverwastes. I should go back and see if my beach house it still there.
This sounds better and better every post. And no… I’m not being sarcastic. I actually love JPs!
Me too, I’m now looking forward to completing this map.
Thanks OP!
Unpopular opinion: If that leak turns out to be true, and mounts are now added to GW2, it makes me rather sad.
I, too, wish my character could wear her glasses while wearing an outfit, because as it is now, she’s blind when wearing an outfit.
I saw this for the first time today. I have to wonder, is this more profitable than running up and down the loop?
No. You earn about half what you would.
That’s what I figured. I guess people got tired of it and created an easy way. I can’t really blame them really.
I saw this for the first time today. I have to wonder, is this more profitable than running up and down the loop?
There’s already something similar for The Shatterer in Open World PvE, so I can see it happening all over Core Tyria as well.
Caveat: I have no idea the amount of work it would entail, or what resources it would take from other, more important areas of development.
So, it seems to happen every 6 months
Nice to know.
Yes, I remember that post. and it’s still quite true.
Fuglier than sin (all weights).
Please Anet, start over, redo, scratch.
Well, maybe you could submit some designs of what you think will look good for Legendary Armor, all three weights of course, and let the rest of us have a look.
I want this more than the new legendary armor… how sad is that?
I don’t even care about the Legendary Armor, so it’s not sad at all.
Asura get colleges.
Charr get fahrar.
Norn get Lager, Stout, or IPA.
Sylvari get… bushes?
Humans get sent to Centaur Summer Camp.
