They don’t need any kind of nerf. The same way i die because of this conditions, i can kill enemies using them. If your main class can’t apply this conditions, it’s your fault for stick with only one character and do not give a chance for different professions.

Go to Characters Panel, Create a thief, lvl him up to 80, equip him with exotics, go to WvW, find a Guardian/Warrior/Mesmer group, come back here and tell us how easy was that fight for you.
Right now the best group for dungeon in general is 2 warrs, 1 guard, 1 mesmer and 1 ele. You can replace ele or mesmer for thief depending of the dungeon. Too many warriors isn’t that great, you will lose too much utilities from other classes.
I like mantras, but i think they could be changed in some aspects. The cast time is so long, i know that all skills are instant, but still they could reduce to 1.75s.
Another idea would be make the cd start in background when you use the first Power. Steal works that way, you can steal from somone, and if you use the stolen skill 30s after, need to wait only 5s to steal again.

I used that trait few times with GS and pistol but have no idea about blocking. Logically active weapon blocks should be considered as interrupts but probably you unlike me did check it out. Guess it was wishful thinking on my part.
It’s not interrupt because the hit land, but sword #4 Counter Blade can interrupt.
I prefer playing other classes.

Now. Please check the wiki and tell how it is even remotely possible to achieve this. Do you know the actual requirement? Do you know the price of dusk on the TP? Do you know how hard is it to grind karma post the nerf? I could go on…
Actually the only thing that makes you grind for months is the Mystic Coin and Map Completion, and you didn’t mention it.
It’s not exploit, but an effective way to use your weapons. If my weapons can hit 3-5 mobs, why would i want to kill one-by-one?
I have ~1500h, 6k AP, no lengendary, but 2 full ascended characters and 5 exotic/ascended trinks. As Paul said, most of them look that were made to 12 y/o girls. lol
I hope they make a new set of legendaries more dark. Like a staff with undead hands trying to grab you when you walk, and a black smoke trail. Or a greatsword dripping blood with splash effects when you hit the enemy.
My warrior hits 30k+ with 100b, but no loot. Necro DS hits 3k+ p/AA, still nothing. Same for other characters, clearly its bugged.
Probably the first 10 players who hit him are able to get loot, but there’s nothing to do with damage percentage.
Rofl , vitality counters condition damage? I bet you are one of those cleric or PvT shout warriors who think they are removing condis . You only need cleansing ire and zerker stance to counter any condi spam build . If you’re in wvw then add food. Vitality is the biggest waste on a warrior . We have the highest hp with necros which is already an advantage over other classes , you don’t need more hp. We only need to survive huge damage spikes . With ~2800 armor is enough to get that 33% dmg reduction the rest full dmg .
Can’t agree more. Warrior has a lot of HPS, so what you need is mitigate the damage, not increase your pool to make HPS more time to fill it.

Great suggestion, it could be like Bladetrail, with no target needed.

Stability doesn’t work, for some reason the explosions rip it off. You need to use quickness, invulnerability or teleport methods to finish her before the shield is up.
this might be related to the no-loot-from-knights bug… like they accidentally set it so you need to deal 10% of the damage to a knight for it to count as you killed it, so you don’t get loot or credit if you only do 9%, meaning the game thought you didn’t participate and thus didn’t give you the ach.

Why can’t they leap just like the iSwordsman? I have never seen the phantasm bug as much the clone.
I always wonder about that. I thought if someone jumps off to different ground-level iSwordsman still have to walk down before leap in? Still it would solve some silly issue where ileap just dash a short distance then stop.
Yeah, iSwordsman walks and them leaps at ~300 range. iLeap could walk really fast then jump when it’s viable, or just walk straight to the target if he’s upstairs.
You may not know, but there is a weapon swap button on the left side of your skill bar.
When the enemy gets close to you, use it, then melee him with sword, or dodge backwards and use your scepter.
When you get some distance, swap back to GS and deal some good damage.
Every time I see a mesmer use GS #5 in PvE, I wish there was friendly fire in this game …
Yeah sure, mesmers… because engineer and rangers with 15s knockback are not annoying at all.
They want to make other rune’s 6th slot and 2/2/2 rune combinations more viable. So its probably best to wait and see what happen before spending 60g.
I thought the whole point of the patch was they wanted to make 2/2/2 rune combinations -less- viable, ie the people who get 2 supmonk 2 supwater 2majorwater for the 40% boon duration. I thought this was something they were wanting to get rid of.

Agree. I suggest Weakness reduce direct damage (crit or non-crit) and condition damage by 33%.
I used wells and Life Transfer to tag as much as possible. Lvld my necro from 40 to 80 in a few days. Warhorn is great too.
They could swap Dhuumfire to Withering Precision, but reduce the CD or increase the weakness to 10s (13s because it would have +30% condi duration).
I’ve run a DS power necro as my main for a few months now. So from this post I can figure out a few things:
1. This mesmer build/player must be downright awful, as most mesmers are too slippery to burst down with life blast spam alone.
2. OP did little to counter these life blasts, especially reflections, dodges, blocks, or CC of any kind which is a sime counter to this play.
3. He clearly didn’t understand that life blast can be potent if spammed directly into your face.So this seems like a L2P issue as others have mentioned.
Also I wanted to comment that a lot of necro playstyle is spamming 111111 because – I think – necros have to be so aware of their positioning moreso than other classes with more readily available defense or escapes. So I can focus more on not getting focused down while I’m still dealing damage more because the auto attacks are still powerful. It’s just my theory, though.
DS necro spam 111111 because #2/3 do no damage, and #4/5 have an absurd 40s cooldown.
The minions from Lich Form #4 don’t do anything too.
I was playing with my Axe/Focus necro and got the Sword Master. Couldn’t print right when the achiev poped, but i had ~4970 before i start playing as necro today.
There is major bugs to be fixed, but when you have time, look at this.
just out of hotjoin. there was this necro. not condi, not petting zoo. i died to him in just few seconds (and my build is not suposed to die to necro). checked death report card – 17k damage from life blast, 6 blasts.

No DS necro would trade Close to Death for Dhuumfire. And it’s the only useful PvE build, stop crying about everything that kills you once in awhile.
We could have better options if we lose target when a clone is created. The main reason why mesmers use stealth skills is because no matter how many illusion you create, the enemy will always have you targeted. So stealth is the only way to make them have to find the real one again.

Another point is that no one likes ranged players in dungeons, it’s kinda selfish. I mean, if all 5 players are in melee range, technically the boss would target you 20% of the time, but if there is 3 ranged players, you will be targeted 50% of the time. Or could be worst, he moves to attack the ranged ones.

It is only worth if you need to get a Divinity/Traveler from a T3 armor.

Please. PLEASE. I beg…remove these incredibly IMBALANCED boons that give players who have spent longer playing wvw to have a massive (and yes it is massive) unfair advantage over players who did NOT spend as long in wvw or who did not get those wvw trait lines.
They are the most imbalanced non-class-related boon in the history of wvw AFAIK.
Play more WvW and you will get it too.
I know that karma and wvw gear are not salvageable to not give players the option to convert currency into mats/gold, but we could salvage them for the sigils/runes.
I don’t need mats from it, only be able to retrieve the upgrade would be enough.

Same thing. My inv usualy is 10 slots per row, but now it resizes to 12 slots, and i cant let it half outside the screen.
I’m disconnecting every time i play dungeons. I can’t stay in a dungeon instance more than 5 minutes. Sometimes it happens in open world or wvw. Often lost guests because i was in another server and dced.
Fix this pls. Can’t recommend this game to anyone, because it will only make them mad.
Notice the same with my golem and shadow fiend. They stay next to the enemy, but don’t attack 50% of the fights.
Yeah, i saw that you can get Fury, Stability, Retaliation, Clear condi, and apply Bleed, Weakness, Vulnerability and heal when pop out DS.
My “twitchy finger” control is better and i’m not leaving DS so often. :P
