Would only like to say one thing –
There is no reason for guards to go full support in PvE – you are nothing but a hinderance to the team.

You can still go Knight/Ruby set with zerk weapons and support through healing circles, altruistic, utilities and right usage of your weapons.

I’m sick and tired of seeing full support guards who bring down the dps to such pathetic levels, I love my guardian and reluctant of having other guards join my team because of the above.

A very egotistic thread, considering that many people prefer things the way they are now.

OP, you are in a minority that asks for a change.
Here are my solutions for you:
- Create your own zerk warrior and start farming.
- Play with buddies who share similar ideals in running dungeons.
- Don’t do dungeons.

I hope you realize that many people who never or will bother looking at these forums (posters here are below 1% of whole community) will be very very aggravated with the outcome of a “nerf” to zerkers.

So if you did it another 4 times, it would’ve been 1/5 bad run.
You’re allowed more fails with 1 than with 10.

Being last man or best player means nothing if your party got repressed feelings of inferiority and still decides to betray you right in the end. (+legendary weapon to add to the fuel)

Just focus on being who you are, and if possible always be the leader – let the rest of the party think whatever they want, as long as you’re literally the last man standing.

I think a good question would be : Has anyone not bought theirs? What I mean by that is….I highly doubt many if any has 100% farmed theirs. At some level everyone I have seen has bought at least some parts if not most of the parts for them.

Ofc it’s everyone’s individual choice. It just so happens that farming it takes a whole lot more effort than playing the tp. That for me makes it more “legendary”. Imo playing the tp would be taking the easy route and I would feel like I cheated.

But do not expect to be rewarded for a group of 5 active players at a time in the guild -
a small guild makes no difference than a 5 man pug.

- Hopefully interesting new guild content.
- Meaningless skill balancing.
- More fluff to other legendary weapons, I’m 100% sure Anet realized the $$$ lies in the legends by now.
- New map overhaul.
- More PvE vs WvW items restrictions.
- Bug fixes.
- New loot table for certain enemies.
- Living story 2nd click quest.

That’s about it.

You should watch buy orders rather than sell listings.
That is the actual worth of the item, and I can guarantee you that it’s for a lot less.

Also OP, sounds like you don’t like the fact that some people got a system, well guess what, that’s life man, get over it and scrub off that jealousy. Because there is no other way to call it.
Why? you have the exact same tools to make money just as fast but you do not take advantage of them, either because you’re too lazy or claim to care about the game’s content too much.
Being lazy is one thing, but if you play the TP you actually get to play the game MORE to your heart’s content, simply because you don’t have to focus on certain tasks to make money.
Sure it is boring to play the market, but what is more boring? 30 mins on broker or 3 hours in Cursed shore?

I do not support TP players, as matter of fact I despise them, but I accept that this is how things are and there is nothing we can do about it. Either join them up or stick to your own agenda.

On topic: Precursor prices did not change in the past month. My point about as long as there isn’t a further improvement to the look of the legendaries or the high end mats loot table remains true.
The current offers are exactly what people are willing to pay, and btw – USE the buy order!!!! I closely watched “The lover” and it kept getting sold for 75G LESS than what it was offered! (I bought it myself too for 500g instead of 575g)
So the current prices are not the end-all, you can still get those precursors for even less than listed.

Off topic: After the 4th leg I actually remembered there are other games out there, sure – one may wish to catch ‘em all. But in all honesty, I’d rather finish some quality games now in the 150~200 hours it takes me to get a legendary instead.
I still log in every day to make around 15g quickly, and do my daily, but nothing beyond.

As for the weapon switch, why not build two 1 handed legendaries! Then you can use them at the same time.

I actually wanted to stop after the 2nd, truly, I did, but then luck had it that I stroke a gold mine (serious one) through the TP, unintentionally… let’s put it this way, it was a precursor level of luck (not precursor-related), so I made my 3rd.
And THEN I saw the new update to the unicorns… I just couldn’t resist.

But beyond that? I still got a few that interest me, but I just can’t see myself putting so much effort anymore, simply because I won’t play with the classes that will use them often enough to be worth the show.

@Ursan, yes. For now. When Ascended if fully rolled out then legendaries are going to get a stat inscrease to be a bump higher than Ascended. This has been the plan for them for forever now.

As of this moment they are vanity items. A year from (maybe longer?) now they will be best in slot items.

They will be BiS together with Ascended, just like they are BiS together with exotics now.

So they will continue to be vanity items.

Source? Last I heard, Legendaries will be bumped to Ascended level stats, not above them. So when ascended weapons are released, legendary weapons will have their stats increased to match that new tier.

I mentioned my legendaries progress since one of the comments that was posted later claimed that I need to take a break etc.. while this is not a new process for me at all.

Someone rambled something about sharing account or wtv – my answer to you is that if you don’t know how to earn a MINIMUM of 10k karma in less than 30 mins then your knowledge of the game is either flawed or lacking, or both.

I did find a semi-solution to this problem, while not perfect, it’s better than nothing.
Definitely not posting it here or anywhere else, as the last thing I need is a dev lurking on more “solutions” to make this game as casual as possible. (First loot, then tokens, now karma. The masterplan to make us all play casually is well understood Anet, though it won’t happen sorry)

Karma dr has always existed, you’re suppose to take a break for like 15 mins or so for it to wear off. I haven’t hit karma DR for a long time and you can only hit it if you are farming karma for a long time. I’d say you should tone back a bit and enjoy the scenery lol

It used to, and believe me there is no one that understand karma DR better than me.
I’m working on my 4th legendary, so please, if I say the current system is kittened up, then it is.
When I can’t even farm anything after hitting DR for 2 hours, that is wrong.
Farming obsidian shards now is a nightmare, and I’m so happy that I got all the legendary skins I wanted, this last one aside, screw this system, next one might be in 2 months when I get enough jugs.

It means everyone overlooked a good way to make a very quick buck.
I did the same before once, it’s so easy if you’re keen enough, much better than flipping like an impotent.

So now I can’t even farm karma across all my alts.

Just hit DR on 2nd character, “ok np, let’s switch”
3rd alt didn’t get any karma the whole day, first DE done – 18 karma.

The number of nodes of each type in a zone are fixed. Their locations move around within a set area with each update; some move more than others, but again the number of nodes doesn’t change.

The easiest place to get vanilla beans is due south of the entrance to the Crucible of Eternity in Mount Maelstrom. If you follow the path due south from the front door, there should be four patches of verdant herbs that don’t move around very much, on the coast northwest of Sunken Droknah. You can park an alt there and grab four nodes without moving very much every hour.

Fix tooltip of skills to describe correct damage.
Fix story mode various bugs.
Fix 2 DE’s in Caledon forest that didn’t trigger properly.

Before you bite my head off, read your post again, it does sound like someone who works hard and expect everyone to do the same as him.

This guild upgrade is a nice perk and a + for some people to consider joining that specific guild.
Would be nice, however, if this kind of boost could be acquired only by a competent guild and not something completely trivial like gain X guild currency by doing Y and Z missions 10 times.

Who in their right mind would spend gold on a set of exotics now? Yeah it was easy – because we weren’t garbage collectors before the november update that made all loot trash. I also bought my first exotic set quite quickly, but doing the pve, actually doing dungeons, takes a billion times longer than in WoW.

Be my guest if you wanna buy ecto’s into todays market… If you can afford multiple full exotic sets you are either a lucky dungeon exploiter from early on, no lifer, or TP exploiter. Me personally I like to play the actual game without being poor constantly, and that means grinding dungeons forever in GW2.

So I need to reroll an alt and do map completion to make enough gold to buy more sets? Lol what? I only play one character I shouldn’t be forced to do that.

CoF speed run takes 7 mins, you can easily complete a full exotic set in a week.
Just an example that there are other options for people with less time available to play.

But more than that, it sounds to me that you just like to complain, and to be honest? I don’t think MMO’s are for you.
Seriously, come on, these kinds of games always require a considerable time investment in order to further develop your account.

If you don’t like it, I’d suggest to stick to single player instead.

Old habits die hard.

- Herb seedlings are on a 1h cool down.
- They have general spawning locations, and best maps to farm them are Metrica province and Celadon forest. (33.3% chance)
- Sometimes the locations will reset when a “map reset” is done, afaik rumors have it that the devs fix map issues such as DE’s or RH. (this also happens to other nodes in general in any map)
- There is no such thing as a map that doesn’t have nodes, you simply didn’t look in the right places. I’d recommend zooming out a bit on minimap and hover with your mouse on herb patches to find which are the herb seedlings.

I hope this information helps.

Easier precursor will backlash at the T6 mats and lodes, while other way around will backlash at the precursor prices going even higher.

There are no winners here, work for your kitten legendary or DON’T get it!!
