Oh man 1k hours.
I’m going to make a topic on what I achieved when I hit that mark.

Feels like OP enjoyed messing around and hoping that his appreciation of the game will benefit him something legendary.

Personally I don’t understand how some players can sit and farm 1million karma per every legendary they sell. I make 30k karma an hour which is pretty good and still takes me over a week while maintaining personal life as well. Kudos to you crazy farmers!!

Spent 1kg? with a return of at least 75% of it, don’t forget to mention that too. So basically practically spent merely 150~200g. Which is respectable, but nothing to write home about.

You pretend to write down all these questions as if someone ever wondered them.
But If this was ever a real feat, someone would’ve made a thread about you before you did, asking the very same.

This isn’t a troll post, please don’t infract this, just cringe inside reading threads like these.

Well, did tonight the 1x clovers for the 3rd time.

In all 3 77 clovers attempts I used the 1x recipe, all successfully crafted between 30% to 33%. (always left with 30 shards + -)
I just don’t do gambling, and now I got solid proof that 1x is kitten realiable.

231 clovers do not lie.

Why in the world do people keep trying the 10x recipe?

Play safe, get yourself a stack of shards and get the 77 clovers with 33% odds.
Did it twice, it works.

Poop, I got 300 ectos banked in for the day I’ll get the shiny backpiece, now you’re telling me I need another 250 for the cosmetic upgrade?

Been pretty much focus on collecting legendaries for my Guardian, so far got Sunrise and Juggernaut.
So the game was more like a job rather than pure joy, and I know it sounds weird but I actually enjoy “collecting” and “building up” towards a goal, so even thought I described my last 300 hours as such, they did have their appeal to me personally.
As for the rest, I’m still quite good in pvp, actually more than most players I’ve been facing (and I’m totally rusty), been doing some WvWvW, sPvP, and other holidays pvp for fun’s sake, and enjoy I did.

Thanks to some lucky circumstances I got myself into working towards Quip now, should be finished before the 1k mark

PvE main idea is to become immersed in the world. If grind is what concerns you then there are better games that cater to that kind of gameplay.

PvP and WvWvW are for pure fun, again, you’re looking for grinding in both game features, and since WvWvW doesn’t really have anything to grind for (aside badges), you ask yourself “what is there left to do in it then?”

Your whole take on the game is flawed, and I doubt you ever touched GW1 before you got into its sequel.

While there are definitely some people out there engaging in what I’d consider unethical practices I dont think its fair to condemn traders as a whole. Disgraceful.

Probably the worst legendary to get past the focus and the underwater.
Simply for the ripoff feeling you get out of it.

It’s like putting 4 endless tonics and get an endless golem tonic.

I hope for you there’ll be a fix.
And protip: youtube is your friend next time.

Check all major cities (especially divinity’s reach that doesn’t show % when you hover)
Check if you got the order of whisper’s base that can be accessed through Fort Trinity.
Check all 3 WvWvW maps one more time just to make sure.
Hover over all world maps (above the name and level range) to make sure each one is 100%.

Finishing my Jugger btw, almost done with all mats needed for Quip now (thanks to dumb luck, just when I thought I’d take a break).

Anyway, the game splits into casual and hardcore playstyles, while legendary will always hold the grind position. Stop hanging into some kind of a promise made by Anet.
This is how it is, so you either accept it and start grinding for it, or simply give it up.

Legendaries are just skins, and when ascended weapons will be introduced they won’t be even 1/5 as difficult to obtain as legendaries, which both will share the same level of stats.
Not sure why people think they are entitled to a very prestige skin that got no effect on their gameplay, and instead comes to differentiate between dedicated players who did not complain and achieved their legendary goal.

Even the early exploits argument became invalid as people have 2+ legendaries by now, some working on their 4th already.

Just wondering what are you guys doing in game with all these hours?

Would be just as interesting if you elaborate as well.

Traders do not create fake supply and demand, where did I hear that again?

According to you guys – the economy and the game as a whole would crash without you.

Traders coming up with excuses from all over the rainbow to justify an unethical fake supply / demand.

Across all characters I have played for 894 hours for 4 months.
about 3.2 hours avg a day.

Kind of proud of what I’ve achieved so far.

I totally support this, but partially.
Let traders be traders, to a certain extent.

Do not allow repost of high end items such as lodestones and precursors.
This is really all about very specific fluctuating items rather than the whole system.

However… we do have cases such as when massive bots bans are announced and people admit that they bought stacks of mats upon stacks only to resell later, while Mandar.9813 tried to point out that not allowing to resell will result in less stock – the case I pointed out will create exactly that, and only thanks to traders who wish to make profit upon creating a fake supply / demand.

Feel free to correct me if you think I was wrong.

Serious question, I do not mean to brag or anything, a real genuine question, so here goes…

I’ve recently crafted Juggernaut after owning Sunrise as well for my Guardian.
Now I happened to get lucky again and got a Dusk drop, but I didn’t craft twilight for a reason, I just don’t like the super-common skin, it almost feel like an exotic to me, not to mention it’s not as elegant as Sunrise (my own opinion)

Which next legendary do you think will be worth making next?
I was thinking Bifrost for my Guardian as well, but not sure if I’ll use it enough in real combat (I do use my staff in some situations, just not as often as the hammer/GS).

Was also thinking perhaps I’ll go for Quip or the Incinerator, the only problem here would be that the only worthy owner of them would be my Thief, and he’s an Asura…
Is it worth making such small weapons to an already small size scaled character?

I’d also like to play that game so let’s do it!:
- 2 legendaries (Sunrise and Juggernaut).
- Owes all classes at lv80, 4 in full exotics
- Both “achievements” are under 900 hours which is my current playtime (887)
- Works in a 4 shifts a week job, get paid as high as high-tech industry, by my own fixed schedule of my choice.
- Got a very special wife who can also cook great food and planning to have a kid together in a year or so.
- Got accepted to a high end visual communications college, only to spit back at their face since I already earn double than the highest paying job in the field.

- I am awesome.

Well if it’s going to be specifically for dungeons, Fractals especially, you’ll want to try the 0/15/30/20/5 build for survivability plus crit damage. I run this build on 20+ Fractals and I nearly never die, or I’m the last one to die in my party. I use this build with Cleric armor and with 3 superior water runes and 3 superior monk runes. I use the Greatsword along with a rune inserted into that weapon for precision damage. I can’t remember what that rune is called, but it is fantastic. This is built for keeping boon duration extended and healing power up as high as possible. I’ve tested many Guardian builds, including the Paladin 2.0 build, but none of them compare to the survivability or the damage that this build gives. This is the only build I would recommend. Hope this helps

This, but only suited for dungeons the most.

If you do some world PvE, I’d recommend 20/25/20/0/5 with full glass cannon berserker + ruby set.
Emphasis on dmg boosters, high crit + c.dmg, reduced dmg when downed and 50% more dmg vs foes when downed as well.
Expect to get downed a lot if not careful enough, also your best friends would be Wall of Reflection and spirit shield.

Destroyer crabs. They have a hidden haste and swiftness effect on them and will wreck your melee character’s face.

Just about every imp. They always come in groups and have 10 stacks of hidden might on them.

What I hate about the dredge really, above everything is the immunity to blind.

There’s no way to find out what you did in a dungeon, unless someone specifically reports it.

Technically there is a way, but there’s thousands of people running dungeons every day, that no one will really bother unless reported.

Yeah… I’m really hoping the Legendary Armor use the Gift of Mastery and NOTHING ELSE seen in the current recipies.

The Gift of Fortune has become nothing more than a gold check.

The unique Item Gifts are ok-ish – being based off of dungeon runs, crafting, and a FIXED gold check (100g for the icy runestones). Then they go completely off the rails with that insane grind for lodestones/dubloons if you actually try to do the harvesting yourself. Yet another ‘play the market or be fool in the service of those who do’ step.

The precurrsors have proven to be grossly flawed concept – scrap that kitty-litter.

Gift of ’’Fortune’’ … Fortune stands for ’’luck’’ ’’wealth’’ so ye, that was intended .. to be around a money and luck

Only some of the players, those who can achive the Legendary see it as flawed concept, broken, etc. But there are thousands of player who have Legendaries or almost done with them. By legit ways.

Btw .. there is a response by Anets dev who said that nothing is wrong with high prices of precursor because they are so rare and so demanded
