It would be better if the first 5 skills would be little modular, that they could replaced by one or two other skill(s) that would synenergize with the traits.
Multiple legendaries would be good.
The GW2 is community is great and the game can be fun.
But I found the dungeons of GW1 and elite missions more fun than the dungeons here.
The only thing the story is worth doing is for priory/vanguard/whatwasthenameagain armory and weaponry.
Other than that I try to forget it asap.
In fact, I have yet to complete it completely, so I haven’t completely completed the complete story because I found it completely boring most of the time.
The bloody karkas never drop anything, but it’s the best-looking lvl 80 map and one of the prettier maps of the game.
Still, the bloody karka never seem to drop, or maybe I’m just traumatized by the world event.
Bloody karka.
Legendary is a doomsday scenario, think about it. When there is nothing else to do, you are doomed to grinding for a legendary.
A lot of former GW1 players I knew have left this game. I sense that GW2 is pretty much a doomed game for GW1 players.
All dyes predicted the doom of this game. I barely see any dye drop or being used
This game is doomed probably. I barely see any players around
Least played class would be warrior
It’s a portal to Cantha where you will be greeted by Master Togo to rescue Mhenlo from the Mists.
You see, Mhenlo was a terrible guy. He died way too often and you may been wondering all this time why he died so often. Well, the answer is here. Mhenlo has been hampering teams since he made an appearence to the heroes of Tyria. He walked into death gazillion of times so that he would be relieved from healing players and possibly be responsible for a team wipe-out.
Mhenlo, how do you live with yourself?
Now Master Togo has a genius plan. We go into the Mists and grab Mhenlo so we can send him back to the Mists again. I know it’s a little harsh, but it’s the only way we can have our revenge.
Vengeance is ours.
Now, Master Togo has retired now. He’s been training birds. You see, the tengu escaped Cantha because of these birds. Birds also happen to like turtles, so the Suxons are probably there. All the treehuggers came to tyria, disguised as walking plants. Some call them Sylvari, I call them vegetables.
Turtle soup.
Make Guild Wars 3 for console only, so you can save the PC players from a 2nd disappointment
Paragon, so I could perform that gay dance all day long in public to make money
Pick the server that has the most of the 4chan communty
Small guilds deserve to be at a disadvantage. The bigger guild is usually stronger anyways
I suggest you delete all your characters
I am really sorry OP but
LMFAO
I do agree on your proposition.
I actually keep playing at either low level zones or high level zones because there seems to be few to no players in most zones.
I got a patch of over 16 GB
I havent found the stonereaper yet, though some say it can be found in Arborstone
I actually despise how little resemblence this game has to the old landscapes, it feels a complete different world.
Even after 250 years, you’d still expect some resemblence, but not here. So much wealth of ambience from GW1 is gone. Now the areas look all too much the same.
If they separated PvE and PvP completely, balancing would be a whole lot better. They would be able to focus on one side at a time without worrying about messing up the other side.
Because we all know they did a bang up job with that in GW 1.
20 more energy and 80 more seconds
…………………………………………………………………………………..
I have deleted around 40 lvl 80s now, I just can’t decide whether I want to play GW2 as a lvl 80 or not
I actualy don’t go back to low-level maps, but instead I go back 250 years in time, back to GW1
To make this content some kind of end-game and exclusive, make a tier 6 art of war, which will take 3 months to be researched. The reason for this is so the content will last much longer.
Let me guess in which map this is.
Plains of Ashford, am I right?
Karka shells are good for crafting and for one or some exotic items. Though, it seems as if the karka never drop any thing. The map itself is one of the better maps in the game though, it really has a sense of danger, high-end, elite area.
The personal story had its nice moments, but overall it seemed so disconnected from the world somehow. Probably because once you got out of the instance, the world would appear as if nothing ever happened.
As a ranger it took me 5 months 12 hours a day to get 95 skillpoints
Make a warrior and steamroll
If you really look at Awe’s post, he doesn’t really explain anything of why there are no patrols here.
I sent 250 ectoplasms to the wrong guy and he told me to get lost
Left click → Destroy
Actually GW1 is much more of a game than GW2, almost superior in every way.
Suddenly, the world doesn’t feel that dynamic any more….
The problem with the GW2 community is that they live in a bubble where everything is roses and when somebody says a bad thing about GW2, the bubble is threatened to burst so they turn into demon killing machines.
It probably will be introduced in the canthan expansion together with a new profession called the chronomancer
Mounts confirmed
Urge to kill rising…………
I agree with OP completely. GW1 was a much more challenging and rewarding game. There were so many elements of gameplay in GW1, combined with its story and graphics/looks, it was just stunning and amazing to spend your time on.
GW2 lacks in many areas, as OP described and to be honest, I don’t think GW2 will ever appeal to players who long for a successor to GW1’s gameplay.
I appreciate the gesture of trying to innovate the aspects of a MMO, but it is not done well in GW2 regarding the things OP described and comparing it to GW1 and many of the GW1 veterans and champions will agree with that.
I think this is a problem with the system of having a static build per weapon.
If Cantha and Elona are not introduced in GW2 I will be happily say that I quit GW2 because I don’t care about the lore any more.
Though the game is still fun to play at times
GW1 only began when you reached lvl 20.
GW2 just begins when you reach lvl 80.
1700 hours. Ive played GW1 for around 2700 hours since 2004……………………..
I just play around with all of my characters. I suggest you try an other profession and even try out PvP or WvWvW [cut]
(edited by Moderator)
You should grind 8 profession at all t imes
I think because the loot is NOT shared that the overall rate loot drop for a higher tier item is lower.
Have you guys considered racial skills?
I feel this thread is highly racist.
Good for her. Walking plants are dangerous.
1. Naga, bringing forward the mysteries of the desert.
2. Largos, expanding the underwater world (which will introduce an underwater city in an expansion pack)
3. Introduce a new race of cyclops
