I got to say I was tempted to get it but then I realized just buying orichalcum pick from NPC will do just fine for me.

We could use some instances or some elite zones where you can get unique skins, but stats-wise exotic or ascended.

While I love the PvP in both GW1 and GW2, I really miss the mesmer class of GW1 thatm to this datem still is unique IMO.

I suggest you and everyone in the guild buy 40 character slots and repeat the process of bulking 40 times.

Definitely. I barely see any necromancer running around these days. A lot of warriors, guardians, mesmers, eles and thieves. Some engineers here and there but few rangers and necromancers

I am pretty sure that if you got 100 guild members scouting an area for a bounty boss, they will find it within a minute.

With 10 members, I wouldn’t even attempt tier 2 or tier 3. Tier 1 will be luck if you make it.

ANet has a good reason to limit the AoE to 5 targets at once in WvWvW where zergs would even be more powerful.

I don’t think it’s fair to take away the 10 laurels from certain players or to reward players with 10 laurels to balance it out. The players who got the extra 10 laurels did it legitimately.

I think it’s because the personal story is a less striking aspect of the game to the majority, which bears a more a serious tone. We have more of our attention distracted by the goofy-ness that you will encounter outside of the personal story in smaller regional settings that overall have little to no relevance to the greater truth, which is to tackle the elder dragons.

Guild Wars 2 doesn’t have an epic feel to it anymore. I don’t know. I will be back at the beginning of May to see if the new content for that month is better than the April content. the super adventure box is a neat and creative idea, just doesnt seem very “epic”.

I hear people say that this update was epic, that it brought back lots of memories they are fond of. Look at the countless of threads that praise the Super Adventure Box.

Now if you mean that it’s not epic in comparison to the previous updates and in regards to overall effect on the virtual game world, you are half-correct. Many chests spawn throughout the world that has everything to do with this update. The people who play GW2 PvE, which are the majority, will be affected somehow by this update. It’s of an epic scale in that regard.

Now if you mean it’s not an epic update as that it’s not game-changing. You are correct. It doesn’t change the game much at all. It fits in the lore mostly and it can be disregarded in almost everything you can do in GW2. Though some people treat it with contempt because it’s radically different than what you normally see in GW2.

As for how GW2 is doing, we can only speculate without much data. So let’s take a look at the server population and the revealed plans of ANet regarding GW2. The community can only a part of relevant information.

As from my own point of view I think GW2 will last a long time and will be one of the better MMOs of today. GW2 is not doing

I would propose an alliance system where smaller guilds can team up for guild bounties.

Do not worry about these zones. I too find them not appealing because of its visuals and zombie-like creatures. Much prefer Frostgorge.

In the future ANet will release new high-level maps as they continue to reveal the Jungle Dragon, the Deep Sea Dragon, the Crystal Shard dragon, Vayne Dragon and more.

I foresee that the maps will be visually stunning as they introduce landscapes of north-america of the 1500s and the amazon jungle which will contain monsters that go beyond your wildest imaginations. The time has come.

If this sort of thing is what gamers want, please box it and sell it as a stand-alone, and keep this fly outta the soup. Jumping puzzles in a war-lore MMO has got to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen.

It’s incredible how much you fail to see the point. It’s not exactly about the jumping puzzles themselves but about the lackluster PvE, PvP and class balance attention for the past 7 months.

People are just not compelled to go to certain areas because of various of reasons.

One of the reasons is that the events repeat quite often and whatever you do hasn’t that much of an impact on the world and people feel and recognize that. It doesn’t feel as if it is your world, as if it is your story. They may affect things around them but it’s in a dismissible way. The boss you just killed respawns 10 minutes later, it just doesn’t care you’re there.

Yup, but that is why I like to keep going and roaming the zones to the next event. The problem = the maps are empty. The next event/chain will be near impossible alone. In Orr, all you can do is try to open the map slowly a lot of the time.

Another problem is the generic reward system. There is no great or any variation of rewards. Some events may take a long time, but the reward you get is the same as for some simple and quick events that take at most a minute.

If the dynamic events had a much more lasting and rewarding effect then the players would be compelled to do it. Right now it’s just too repetitive and the rewards are not worth it.
