Save it for the 100 million karma account achievement.
I’m going to buy boxes in a few days though. I never used any of my Jugs of Karma and I have way too many now. I don’t care about the minis, but I’d rather have more gold than a stack and a half of Jugs of Karma and two stacks of the tiny Drops of Karma or whatever you get from dungeons.
you wot m8?
Don’t spend it, instead save up 10 million karma
I am buying your soul, just 6 gold
Warriors can take some load, not the full load though. You can change weapons if you get bored with one.
The challenge is to steamroll through PvE as fast and effective as possible.
I regard this whole thread as opinion because it’s been an established idea, notion, that GW2 is destined to fail if ANet does not take proper measures in the next few months.
Warriors aren’t that good in PvP is because warriors are a straight-forward class, relying on close-quarters combat and knockdowns. They are like brutes.
Other classes have the brains, they are intricate and that’s why they excel.
Probably a very pro player
I thought ascended items was the ultimate punishment for people with a lot of alts.
You forgot to mention that warrior are gods. Warriors can use
-bow
-rifle
-sword (dual)
-shield
-axe (dual)
-mace (dual)
-greatsword
-hammer
-warhorn
-spear and harpoon gun.
Also warriors are gods. Warriors deal quite some damage at lower levels compared to other classes. Warriors are gods.
Guardian is boring as hell. It’s a slowpoke wammo. Something like the warrior/monk in GW1 but a lot worse. Also it might as well have had meteor shower as an elite skill.
Engineer is good in sPvP, average in PvE.
Warrior is good in everything. Warrior gives you a god-status. Warriors are gods. Warriors can equip a lot of weapons and are basically gods.
Asura is the worst of the worst
Try charr warrior, it’s something rare
I don’t even make 1 gold a day
Go engineer
engineer is top tier
best in pve
best in pvp
what can go wrong?
We really need the feature of inspecting other people, because the skill of a player depends on his equipment.
LOL this video has been posted at least more than 10 times the past months
Will be difficult to wait years for Cantha.
It should come soon and after it, we back to Tyria again.
If we go to Cantha only after saving Tyria from dragons would be a “problem”, people might feel tired of Tyria and it will be “deserted”.No matter when or how they introduce a new continent, it’s going to herald the (at least temporary) desertion of Tyria. People might jump back for dragon fights or scratch off “kill X enemies in Y region” daily achievements, but by and large everyone is going to be spending the vast majority of their time in whatever new zones are added.
Yes, because the cursed shore was a prime example of this
Prince Rurik – ‘Er mah gerd’
The mystic forge works in mysterious ways
Anet actually thought about increasing the level cap in the future. I do not mind it, just make sure you make and put all lvl 81-90 or 81-100 gear ascended and well-locked behind time gates.
Also make sure you never mention Cantha, the tengu are just birds gone wild. Because let’s face it, evolution happens on a timescale of minutes, right? 250 years is more than enough.

I don’t understand why people get so worked up about this, the lfg site is perfectly functional,so I don’t see why the devs should devote resources to making something that can already be gotten…..
And besides,if they do make one and it’s not as good as the lfg site, then it will actually hurt the dungeon finding as people will just be usin that one.Actually this Website can actually be used to abuse in game players, i was abused this way…
Basically i had a disagreement with some players in game and they put my name into this website and i was harassed for hours by poor players trying to get a party, i didn’t even know until someone said i’d been trolled, i went to this site (i’d never even been too before) and sure enough my characters name was there asking for a cof group, this should not be allowed to happen and shows how uncontrolled 3rd party sites are suspect.
That’s actually pretty hilarious.
An in-game LFG tool would be able to prevent this.
this is a terrible story.
The story of looking for things and then picking them up and then looking for who to bring them to.
Is there something else going on? Who can be bothered to read these lifeless flavorless npcs?
Just tell me what to do and I’ll do it in exchange for loot.
man i want to know what got people like you into gameing. I never played things like mario for the Loot.
Mario was actually fun because the journey was fun. Here, the journey usually is boring and the loot is what is desired.
Yea of course you can test it, but if you got lacking tooltips, why bring in tooltips in the first place?
This also happens when you attack a foe from somewhere they cannot reach and then suddenly they turn on GODMODE and regenerate all their health.
I thought skill was advertised as being a good thing in this game? Positioning is not when you do it the most effective way, which is where the foe cannot reach you to attack you, but you can attack them.
Unbelievable.
Just play a charr if you want to play tengu in gw2, same thing
well let’s be honest, any system they add will be inferior to gw2lfg anyway…
Alright, let’s praise the community for making a great tool for the game. Let’s be wary of the fact that Anet failed to deliver a successful and useful tool in their own game.
I fail to see how that joke is humorous or bringing out a valid point.
How succesful is it if any new-comer doesn’t know about the site? It’s not written anywhere on the manual.
@Halanna
That you never had to use it is not a good argument of why people will not ever need it. People sometimes play at times when most people are at work or asleep. Sometimes the server is just not populated enough or people are somewhere else doing things that they want. A LFG tool for people across the servers, within the region, would be highly efficient. Not only would be finding groups of people for certain dungeons way quicker but it would bring the people of the GW2 community a little bit closer to eachother.
The increase of the amount of accounts is not synonym to this game being destined to succeed.
The choices Anet is going to make for the coming months will weigh heavy in determining the game’s ultimate conclusion.Currently the game faces some detrimental gameplay. The classes are not properly balanced for sPvP and the amount of options for effective way of play for certain class es are severely limited. This leaves out an incredible amount of gameplay out of the game and this is AFTER 6 months from release. This is unacceptable for a popular and highly-populated game like GW2.
It will have negative consequences seeing how Anet has been way too slow fixing some game-breaking problems. People already have lost trust in the company. The only place you really see this kind of talk is the forum. After roughly 300 hours in game I can honestly say I’ve maybe seen people talk like this maybe once or twice, which leads me to believe that most people who are playing the game are enjoying it. And I like how you say 6 months after release as if that’s a long time for an MMO. This game has far more content and updates than most MMOs do six months after release.
How important were those content and general updates compared to sPvP balance, which still is not done properly and class balancing in both PvE and PvP. Six months is simply a little too long for these game-defining aspects.
It’s really not. Perhaps you don’t realize how hard it is balance content like that. It took YEARS for WoW to get class balance even remotely right, and even now there’s still issues with it. There are very FEW games where true “balance” exists, it’s just not something that is a quick process…..ever.
You would think that with this set amount of skills the balancing would be done way better.
How great is it, for someone, who chooses a specific class to find out later that he/she can only run 1 or 2 effective builds in sPvP or PvE at all times while certain classes have much more diversity. Many traits are simply not appropriate for any effective way to play.
The fact that there barely has been any significant class balance the past half year, despite these striking differences and other less important but big updates, shows that Anet has failed to properly prioritize their efforts.
It’s pretty contradictory for a game that has been advertised as a ‘social’ game lacking this social feature.
OP is making a poor assumption that Ascended gear is “end gear/content”. Truth is Exotic gear is end gear. Anything else beyond that is purely OPTIONAL. So in reality the time to acquire end gear (Exotics) is extremely short. You can craft it or purchases it via gold or karma. Even Laurels will get you Exotics. Time it takes is trivial because it’s all up to how invested a player is.
It is not optional if ascended gear will grant a player over 5% of stats advantage over his merely-exotic-geared fellows.

OP nailed it. Anet has a lot of work to do and it’s simply below standards that after 6 months of release several game-breaking problems remain. It has been unacceptable behaviour of a game company towards a community that includes great supporters of their old game, namely GW1.

Try doing missions on hard mode and come bac……oh wait wrong game
Bad idea. I don’t want to be completely obliterated doing a group event with a fellow player whenever a dragon spawns, attracting so many players from every server plus the one you are on.
And it provides a nice challenge, where you can organize and making strategies to tackle the event. A contrast to the disgraceful dragon events.
Please no, this will only help rich people get richer and leave the poor even more demandful.
What we need is the current system and we are set.
This game is doomed without Cantha. I see no hope for Anet to recover from the oppression of NcSoft.
The dark and serious tone will appeal to a mature and older audience. Guild Wars 2 is targeting teenagers with under-developed brains. They can’t go very far with a T rating.
I think Arenanet missed thier target by a few years. The average MMO gamer is 30 years and over now. There will be a lot of mature themed MMO’s released in the near future. I think Guild Wars 2 is going to have a hard time competing with thier happy fun land due to thier T rating target audience.
Let me tell you this that they are doing a great disservice by the goofyness of the tone and style of GW2 which is actually better appropriate for pre-teen people. And then people wonder why people have a hard time acting as an adult these days.
Treating people, teens and older, with the kind of tone in GW2 will ultimately doom the game.
There are so many challenging jumping puzzles yet the rewards for them are worth jack compared to these ‘big boss’ event chests.
It’s a disgrace to the skilled players. Disregarding the effort of skilled players will doom this game.
Once upon a time, ANet designed a game where the only things people might choose to do that required time commitment were gaining a dungeon set, or a legendary weapon. Everything else in the game, and there was a lot of it, was for fun. ANet envisioned gamers choosing to do whatever they wanted because it was whatever they wanted.
Then their vision met reality, in the form of a horde of players who wanted the results as quickly and easily as possible. Said horde clamored for more, for progression, for something new to do, for more and better stuff. And so ANet realized what other MMO developers have known all along. A large percentage of players play for rewards.
You know, all that fun stuff they designed in the first place, the stuff that was supposed to be done for fun? It’s still out there. The only thing keeping people from doing it is their own choices.
Brawl and kegs, where are the other little neat mini-games that they talked about prior to release? They seem to have forgotten about us, dooming this game for many old GW1 players, including myself.
The game is doomed for the fact that the story has been completely degraded to something that resembles nothing I’ve seen in GW1. The game itself can be fun to play, I admit that WvWvW is the best thing in the game with its culling.
The game is doomed, but keep playing it because enjoy it while it lasts.
If they won’t introduce Cantha, then the story will become goofy of the highest order. This will doom the game, you watch and see it crash and burn once Cantha is never introduced. Many old GW1 players have left me alone in GW2.
“goofy”? LOL…gonna guess mommy was around when you typed that?
Hey, reported for baiting
This is why I play as human or norn only, because asuras are for players who have comparable mindset of someone who exploits the game for profit.
The WvWvW is doomed.
They might as well have been dead, holy moses of cantha.
That means every WP would be contested all the time because everyone is in Blazeridge Steppes, Queensdale, Frostgorge Sound or Sparkfly Fen.
The game is doomed.

I picked up a pre-cursor from the chest of Shadow Behemoth, so hereby I recommend every gw2 player to guest on other servers to increase your chances in getting a pre-cursor.
