There are already many skill/traits that work like this.
what i can dream of is some polishing because sometimes it just feels so random ;-)

Also, being a programmer i can understand the hard work they have done in the background to bring what they call “foundation for the future”. It was based on players feedback so no I dont feel they are really playing smart here and charging us for something that should be free, i really feel the other way around!

Easy costume, too. Show up with a potato sack filled with empty soda cans fastened to your back with rope, and tell everyone it’s Engineer cosplay.

This will be a nice change for builds that use bleeds & cause them to counter each other allot less.

I really hope poison & burning get some love too though. As is it’s even easier for people using them to override & negate the damage of others then it is for people who use bleeds.

Probably the duration will stack indefinetly, or the cap lifted waaay above :O

My personal theory is that Anet probably has a fix in place and ready to go, and have done for years. But they keep putting it off every time someone uses the term ‘hobo sack,’ because it’s just such an annoying expression, and has no real connection to what the thing actually looks like. I have the same theory about Commander functionality and ‘dorito.’

Maining a charr engi i dont believe they will put out a better rifle then Predator (it would require same style while being a shotgun, and that’s not likely to happen)

Anyway in intrigued with the possible new pistol/shield/hammer so i think i’ll hold on even if i’m almost done (just few T6 away and those 100g crystals+orrian truffle to buy out)

yeah, that’s our issue. People would be more inclined to invest in their engineer, meaning possibly even gem store purchases…i really think that finding a solution is a win win situation!

Yeah, I think they said something about considering putting the kit on the players’ hips, essentially sticking it in one of the 1-handed holstered weapon positions.

That would at least fix the issue with hiding back items, though it would do nothing about the fact that kits don’t match most armor dye jobs and look like low-level gear even if you’re wearing a full set of magitech armor.

Indeed. They should just add visual clue in the off hand and that’s it. Like i’ve already said:
- pack, nade or bomb belt offhand
- gear shield offhand
- nothing for FT EG since they are pretty clear

A nice touch would be stowability, but i can live without. Serously how much resource this can take?

I would take new classes/spec AND race over that any day.

I don’t recall where anyone specified this was an either or choice.

Oh well surelly it’s not per se, but when you have limited time and resources you make choices and classes/specs over essentially cosmetic/lore is the smartest and more rewarding solution. I say it again, i would be more than happy, but not if we sacrifice gameplay content.

Also, Entropy is totally a Revenant hammer.

Entropy to me feels like overflowing energy like inquest weps, hence a sort of magitech wep…maybe is just me.
Also ihmo Juggernaut has a cool aura but the skin is ugly…it seems a staff :/

Off hand-only weapons are cheaper than main hands – they’re not likely to suddenly get swapped to the main slot.

What about axes, swords, daggers, maces? They both MH and OH for many classes.

Since you are talking about PvP mind that almost everyone in competitive play will turn “standard models” option which will let you see enemies as standardized umans. So just play what you like most!

Yep i know. I just would like something more. Something meaningful to keep THAT tower/keep. Something unlocked when you own the keep for, dunno 1day, maybe tracks with huge guild rewards for every day to protect a keep. Also the banner atm are really small imho!

Hi fellas!

After the hype for the new borderlands map I’d like to ask ANET and the whole community your opinion about more Guild driven keeps/towers.

It seems like now defending will be even more easy and meaningful so why not give pride to the guild owning the keep/tower? Like huge visible banners? Some guild buffs and rewards? Unique WvW guild missions startable from the keep/tower?
we got guild inprovements in pve with halls, pvp with guild leaderboards, why not in wvw?
