This looks like Midnight Ice.
Midnight Ice in my experience tends to be darker than Abyss on more pieces. Abyss however does visually retain more of the armor’s detail.
Greatsword is coming folks
I am hopeful though. It’s obvious that ANET is going to announce their alternative to a boxed expansion, and I’m anxious to see what they’ve come up with. In the long run, ANET has yet to disappoint me.
They will release Elona and Cantha at the same time
Haha yeah probably.
I think what will happen is:
-some new itens in the gem store
I really hope we get Caithe’s Dagger with this update.
I’m excited for the PAX announcement and anticipating the update. I just hope that there isn’t another month stretch after the PAX announcement with no content. If the schedule persists, we’re looking at an update the Tuesday after Friday the 23rd’s PAX details, and best case scenario would be a feature patch implementing parts or wholes of whatever they announce.
Worst case scenario is we get another stretch of no updates after the end of Season 2, followed by a feature patch. I think February would be the expected arrival of a feature patch, however they may push it forward as an alternative to another month with no content so shortly after the exasperating Wintersday activities.

I don’t use them but I love getting them for some reason. I don’t really enjoy leveling in the world (which is funny because I like map completing at 80). If I ever need a new character, or think of a cool name I want, I can use it and level it with little effort. I think I can get a dude up to 68 at the moment?
I don’t have a particular reason to collect them at the moment, but I’m glad I have them.
We feel the time penalty to return and repair accomplishes our goal enough to not need a secondary cost that punishes newer and less experienced players the most.
Jehovadottir Witnesses?
I think I only have Sylvari and Asura… and one Charr.
Guardian shield slot
All this talk of new content and I’m just tryna might stack on my necro
Lol @ OP asking GW cat butts
Flameseeker Prophecies, hands down. The flavor and the esthetic are incredible. It’s too bad shields are the worst.
I’m interested in joining you guys. I have everything geared for dungeons except engineer, with guardian for fractals and thief on the to fractals. I mostly play meta guard and do the easy pug dungeons whenever there’s a group open. I have experience in everything except for Arah.
Whenever I preview a new Wintersday skin my client crashes. Any similar instances or resolutions?
Hi all,
Friends and I are looking for able bodies willing to assist a start-up of a Fractal focused guild. Experience with 2+ professions would be ideal, as well as a personal level of at least 20. Please PM me in game or respond here for further information.

I always envisioned Waypoints as being a magical interactive part of our map (that our characters presumably carry with them). For instance, if I’m standing in LA, I pull out my map, select a waypoint, and am transmitted to it. I guess the map could be considered as the “device” already discussed in the thread.
If anything, the announcement the way it’s phrased, is specifically telling us there will be no expansion.
This is exactly what I thought since I first saw the article.
This is not an effective way to give feedback.
condi guard obviously
Awesome, sounds good. I’ll PM you tonight.
Thanks!
I’m on NA :/. I’ve tried LFG in the past but every group has disintegrated before the end of the run so far.
Hi all,
SE2 is the only path left for my dungeon title, I was wondering if there is a crew anywhere that does this path and have room for another?
There was a thread about it I think, or at least a thread where it was mentioned. I feel like it was in WvW discussion, but I could be wrong.
I think #9 is the most important. Gathering tools should be an account-wide slot. I think we are beyond level gating tools. Wardrobe access to ascended gear is also incredible important. It’s account wide for a reason. Eliminate ascended gear as a wearable item and offer it as an upgrade to exotics through the wardrobe system. Got a warrior and guardian to 80 and geared, but only one ascended set? No problem. Click on gear, right click “ascend”. Same with accessories. The gear is account wide, so this process is for convenience sake.
Same with other items. Account accessible tab that houses unlockables: home teleport, royal/airship passes, etc.
The obvious answer here is to not create threads like this after only a week of playing and make an attempt to develop your own perspective of the game rather than forming an opinion based on what other players think.
I just want to love my necro

Copper-Fed Salvage O Matic is the absolute best item you can buy from the Gem Store.

They should allow trait unlocks using currencies that veteran players would have accumulated a lot of over the years. WvW badges, fractal relics, dungeons tokens, etc. if I create a character strictly for WvW you’re telling me you think I should be forced into other game modes for way too long? I bet a lot of ylu defending this are the same people that make rage threads about mapping WvW maps being included in gifts of exploration
This is the most troubling experience in the NPE. People that have been playing since launch should have some sort of bypass for this feature (after their first or second 80).
I’ve used a lot of resources acquiring traits for all of the characters I want to regularly play, and in most cases, I’m stuck with a single build for an extended period while accumulating skill points. I would suggest doing a personal story from beginning to end, as there are a lot scrolls and levels gained; however I know that’s a tedious process. Here’s hoping to a better system :/
Hopefully additional game modes outside of conquest (which naturally promotes AoE) will swing builds. And with the wishful thinking of broader weapon access among professions, the support for those builds will be there.
Caithe’s dagger will likely be a gem store item, as with all the NPC weapons skins so far. I’m hoping we see the back piece as a story reward and the final accessory as the vendor piece.

If you bring your mouse over the name of the maps counting toward map completion you’ll see what you completed in the area…
No need to actually go to the place…
Want to emphasize this because it will save you a lot of money from Waypoints.
This is the original post introducing the new structure. Hopefully it has what you’re looking for:

I would suggest reaching out to the PvP sub forum community as well.
Unfortunately the Audio forum was archived, so it’s likely never to be attended to. Otherwise I would suggest reaching out there and hoping for a dev response.
Maybe try the General sub forum, and tag it with [Audio Request] or something of the sort. It’s a long shot but better than nothing.
Good luck
“Materials” in GW2 refers to a very specific set of items. It’s not a blanket term for all items.
Side note – in the past I requested a refund due to misinterpreting the language of a particular item, and I was rejected. Expect the same treatment if you submit a ticket.
Careful not to confuse the forum community with the game community
It seems compiling an FAQ on the new achievement system would be a good idea.
2 Necromancers.
First I made as an Asura, as the name Lord Gnat (carried from GW1) seemed to fit best with Asura.
Then I decided that Sylvari would make a much cooler looking Necro, so I rerolled.
I agree, ranged DPS weapons are available with Axe MH, LB and SB. Staff for support would be the greatest.

If I understand correctly (and correct me if I’m wrong), you’re looking for a single key to support the functions of both CTRL and ALT at the same time?
If this is the case, it will not be supported by ANet, since they expect you to adhere strictly to a 1 button = 1 action key binding rule.
