The real only issue is that people who want to play tank and healer join groups that clearly say berserker only and then get irate when they’re not accepted.
What about a bar that fills up as sort of an “experience container” on your character sheet, and you can click the bar on an alt to “dump the container” on the alt, giving the alt all the accumulated xp and resetting the bar.
Disclaimer: No, the next feature pack has not been announced.
Any thoughts on what ANet has in store for the next feature pack?

On weapon swap, reduce the cooldown of weapon swap and swap weapons. (Puts weapon swap on cooldown for 10 seconds)
I remember a similar thread a couple of years ago in which posters posited that warriors had an advantage as the fall damage is calculated in some manner off your health pool.
Back in the day Necro was the king of free fall.
Contagion Is probably a good candidate for Necro synergy too, but I think I would take Mark of Pain before anything.

The gameplay was really enjoyable as well. There was boss design that didn’t feel like trudging trough mobs of enemies like the last episodes and they made you use combat strategy which is something GW2 doesn’t so enough in the open world.
Thanks for the input everyone.
I’m thinking of taking Nemesis’ old hybrid build for a spin again with the new gear. Axe/focus and scepter/dagger 6/6/0/0/2, wells and epidemic with krait runes. Primarily fractal runs. Thoughts?
Thanks for stopping by Gaile
All the hard word has not gone unnoticed, if this thread is any indication!
The map is distracting sometimes, there is so much to do. I had to give myself tunnel vision to get through the story and I still made pit stops to defend forts.
I really hope they find a way to have Dry Top and Silverwastes make sense after Mordremoth is defeated, and considering Orr is still alive and kicking, I’m not really worried about the content changing too much.
As for the story, I think the best book was the one alluding to Althea’s Ashes. Brought me back!
Glint’s Lair was fantastic, the lore was fantastic. For the first time since launch I felt like I was playing a sequel to Guild Wars, and I mean that in the best way possible. I actually had to take a few minutes after completing the story to process how awesome everything was before I continued to participate in the Silverwastes’ events.
The NPC’s had just enough air time, and it was actually nice to have some individual responsibility in these story quests. I like that everyone kind of has their own agenda. I’m excited about the assimilation of Destiny’s Edge again as well. Things are starting to become more coherent.
Again, I don’t think I could be more pleased with this update if I saw a portrait of my original GW character himself in the archive. The work that was put into Echoes is greatly appreciated.
They should add tabs to the wallet for regional currencies if this is the route they will continue to take. For instance, a Maguuma tab for geodes, crests, and other currencies if introduced, and then say a Crystal Desert tab for when we go there, Northern Shiverpeaks, etc.
As a long time devotee of GW1, this has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a video game.
Thank you.
I think this is the right place for this…
In the first cutscene for Silverwaste while continuing the story, the NPC says the “engine has [malfunctioned]”, the text at the bottom uses “blows” (rather than engine).
Yeah Mesmers were nasty in GW1 if you didn’t have some good interrupts. Concussion Shot ftw
Necro had so many good skills and synergies in GW1, it’s disappointing what we’ve got here.
They mentioned some small balance changes coming with a “future patch,” which is likely this one.
So OP my guess is yes.
The Mesmer immediately made me think of Spiteful Spirit from GW1.
All of yours are really cool lordhelmos, I especially like the Necro ability.
Let the skills be fun and let’s not get into balance debates please
Elementalist: Arcane Surge: arcane skills grant 1 stack of might and become blast finishers. Reduce the recharge of arcane skills by 90%. 8 second duration.
Engineer: Turret Signet: passive – your turrets have wheels and can travel with you. Turrets deal 50% less dmg. Active – plant your turrets in place, removing the damage reduction and granting turrets quickness. 10 second duration.
Guardian: Spirit Ward: Passive – grant protection, regeneration, and improved toughness to allies. Active – grant allies 4 seconds of invulnerability. When this ends, allies gain aegis.
Mesmer: Puppeteer: disorient your foe, causing movement to be reversed (moving forward=moving backwards, left=right, etc) 5 second duration
Necromancer: Ritualist: recharge death shroud. gain 50% life force, vigor, and stability.
Ranger: Beast Lord: summons secondary pet. Pets gain 10% additional damage and quickness. 5 second duration.
Thief: Shadow Swap: switch places with and immobilize target foe. Grants stealth and fury.
Warrior: Paragon: reduce the recharge of weapon swap by 100%. 8 second duration.
Try arah legs with whispers chest
Well you can use the banners of any guild that are in the world, but if you want to generate your own then yes, you need to do so by creating them within your guild.
People that are having fun are playing the game instead of coming here to complain on the forums.
I love this thread.
Well there are guild buffs and missions, as well as the convenience of gathering people to play with. Is there anything you were looking for specifically?
I have over 12k AP and I rarely do dungeons aside from the occasional CoF or CoE. Spend most of my time in events or Fractals.
If you’re looking for AP so you can join groups, you’re looking for AP so you can join groups that are usually so busy trying to see what you’re doing that they are bad at what they are supposed to be doing.
bloodstone visit and ties to Abaddons temple incoming
OP makes multiple posts daily about how bad Necros are. He wants them to be completely OP and have 0 counter play. Maybe try another class for a while darken
I thought of staff Ranger as well, I think it would be awesome to have nature support/cc skills.
Also,
Guardian – longbow (2h offensive spell casting – similar to Necro marks)
Warrior – Main hand shield (phalanx, epic support)
Necromancer- 2h melee, hammer or GS would be cool. Something to cleave
Engi – Hammer or Mace
Mesmer – MH pistol, OH shield
Ele – Warhorn, mace
Thief – OH mace, OH axe, or rifle for range
(edited by Gnat.9405)
Maps that don’t have commanders tend to have people spread all over the place, so it can seem empty. As others have said, it would be best to join a group to ‘taxi’ you in to a better instance.
There are four dagger that are held backwards
Jon Smith hosted a text-based quest in which he clued forum-goers in on the recipe for this dagger.
Here’s the thread:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Zommoros-told-me-a-secret/page/4#post4502679
The recipe is
100 Vials of Powerful Blood, 100 Mystic Coins, 1 Eldritch Scroll, and 1 Foraging Sickle.

And how is getting skin you don’t need better?
There should be 1k tickets send to players and pick up weapon you like [without limit, but it’s acc bound, just like wvw tickets]I think the entire point of this is to limit specific skins available numbers and your suggestion removes that control. I am not advocating either plan, just pointing out that you may be missing the point of WHY they are doing it like they are.
This is probably the reason. They don’t want the market flooded with 95% greatswords, 5% shields, and none of the rest, as would most likely happen.
Sorry if this has been mentioned, but I have always preferred loot tables. Similar to Tequatl and the Wurm with their specific skins. If this was applied to bosses across the game and in dungeons, it would keep the general RNG nature of the content but gives players the idea that if they do X enough times, they will eventually be rewarded.
This concept was loosely implemented with the different types of champion bags and Orr temples.
^this. Dying (full party wipe) and a timer will cut your access to the zone until some difficult criteria is met to reopen it.
UW and FoW should not be implemented as dungeons. Instances, sure. 10-20 man event oriented zones, like Orr
I imagine it’s a random weapon as to devalue the items evenly across the board. If people got to choose, 1000 gs skins would enter the economy as opposed to a distribution of all the skins.
Spirits F1-4, low CD, replace the current when a new one is summoned
Pets only with BM build
I’m primarily a PvE player so I may be biased. I do some PvP got joins every week but I’m not familiar with meta.
Axe 2 PBAoE, whirl
GM trait to share might from LB (reapers might)
Blast on WH 5
Foot in the Grave give party wide stability (maybe pve only)
Staff 1 changed to guardianesque auto (spectral wave)
Axe 3 blast
I was under the impression (due to the Ready Up! a few month back that detailed the changes) that the changes bringing about ferocity were part of the big picture changes for damage. Conditions were mentioned in that regard. Is this another case of making meaningless changes as pieces of a larger scheme that doesn’t exist, like Fractal reset because of imaginary leader boards?
dat leaderboards
I was cleaning out my storage yesterday and realized I had a lot of gem store skins laying around that were already in my wardrobe. This is because I would buy a set that I only wanted a few pieces of, or wanted various pieces across different characters.
Would it be reasonable to instead package the sets to automatically unlock in the wardrobe upon purchase, and then provide the buyer with an amount of transmutation charges equal to the amount of pieces in the set (i.e., if you buy a full set of Magitech armor, unlock the set in your wardrobe and provide 6 stones).
This probably only affects a small number of people, but it would be a welcome change.
You know there are some great platformers out there…
RNG will RNG.
They omitted the wings epic clipping I presume
