I agree with the OP – the town skins should be able to be transmuted to armor. That would make them soulbound, so you’d have to reeeaaallly be sure before doing it, but it should be there if you wanna do it.
I think Tribal is the PvP name… still haven’t found it in PvE
There’s no reason for it not to have been an option in the first place, IMO, because of consistency with GW1.
I agree, wholeheartedly…. especially the new Halloween skins My Necro would SOOO wear the Witch costume in combat
This: http://www.ign.com/wikis/guild-wars-2/Masquerade
I’ve searched for “Masquerade” on the TP… and what I’ve found… and had to buy cause there’s no preview option on the TP… looked nothing like the pictures
So, I’m concluding that there’s… another… Masquerade armor… somewhere…. o.O
This argument has been going on since the very first Halloween event in GW1 When they say the 22nd… they really mean… the 23rd, midnight Seattle time.
Living in the Eastern time zone, I have always gotten the GW1 holiday patch 1 day later than expected, at 3am. Of course, events always also last an extra day till 3am
So, expect it 7 hours, 13 minutes from now
I think… the more customization options, the better
If you find yourself needing to swap out complete sets of armor between situations, you’re doing something wrong.
I can see doing it for immersion… Warm clothes for the Shiverpeaks, cooler clothes in the southern Maguuma sections…
I havent seen the pitfighter on guys but on women it looks like the female version of what a Mermillo would wear which is pretty cool i might add.
My Guardian in the Brand, Pit Fighter chest piece, Gladiator gloves:
I will say this.. I love all the armors the game already has, and there are some scantily clad ones. My Guardian looks hot in his Pit Fighter gear with hidden shoulders and head piece But, there is one thing missing… the scar and tatoo armor from GW1. Admittedly, they were only for Necromancers and Monks, respectively, but they did exist.
Keep in mind that Fiery Dragon Swords are available free at the GW2 EotN for those that have unlocked them. That transmute changes the skin and description. Those items are supposed to be cosmetic only, but this would change that.
That’s why I simply want the option. If you wanted to use the mouse, you could still use the mouse. It would be a toggle in settings whether you want it GW2 style (current) or GW1 style, targeted.
I want my target at the bottom next to my info. That’s where I put it on all my games.
That’s the risk you take, if you enable the option. In GW1, plenty of times, I’d cast a targetted AoE and have the baddie run away from it. It happens with both styles. As it stands now, I have the mouse hovering over my character’s bottom, so I can really only cast Smite when they’re right on top of me, and I double-tap #2. Otherwise I have to move my hand off the keyboard, and lose my ability to dodge. I’ve never been good at mice positioning.
Hopefully I’m not beating a dead horse with this suggestion, but I haven’t read all the posts yet.
I really liked in GW1 that you could target someone and trigger an AoE around that target, instead of having to use the mouse.
I honestly hate mice I key-map everything so I can use the keyboard primarily. I reluctantly use the mouse during dialogues.
But I play a Guardian, with a scepter, and smite requires a mouse to target. I loathe this
Please give us the option of centering AoE skills on the targeted enemy, so we don’t have to aim with the mouse Thanks!
