This what I think when I see a charr, any charr, anywhere:
(edited by Gryphon.2875)
please bring back the fancy winter outfit this year before Christmas.
You missed it.

Santa Charr is the best Charr ever!
Tybalt is #2 :P
Depends what you want. I want the pet and the outfit. I can just stick the rest in the bank until I have the urge to use it.
“Illusionary Faun Pants”….. simply pans that give u the same goat-leg-look that the Lich outfit gives. But as an armour skin.
YES!
That would look perfect with my “devil horns.”
Well, let’s see. We were present when the Bloodstone exploded.
We actively hunt creatures and “blood-crazed” people for their unbound magic, to “store” it.
We mine bloodstone crystal nodes for dust and rubies.
Some of us have glowing red eyes from hunting shards and creatures.
No, we’re not blood-crazed… everyone else is…
Need… more…. rubies…..
O_O
Halloween, cause I’m always for the creepy things in life.
But I will agree, it’s gone downhill since 2012’s first GW2 Halloween. I still love the Labyrinth, though.
GW1 still has more to both holidays than GW2.
Toggle for armor chest, like gloves and shoulders have.
NOT a skin like the “invisible boots.”
Please.
So here’s an idea for all those scrolls, passes and various items that allow us to teleport to certain places. The Tome of Teleportation would have a list in built, that you access by right clicking, with all the locations you can currently teleport to with in game items. When you gain a teleportation item (the royal pass for example) it unlocks within the Tome, allowing you to either keep the scroll or delete as you see fit. The Tome would also count as holding said items for areas like the Royal Terrace, which kick you out if you do not have the pass on you.

They were both jerks, but they each had good reasons for disagreeing with the Player Character. There are lots of theories out as to why they behaved the way they did. Killing the two of them off just because they annoy us would be bad story telling.
Yeah, they’d never kill off a character cause he was unpopular.
Oh, wait….
She’s going to create a Virus from that creature she’s harboring in that test tube and turn herself into a Tyrant like William Birkin during an attempt to cure her legs. That will be her elite spec… She’ll learn how to control her transformation and be able to corrupt enemies and turn them into skinless zombie minions with long tongues. Might even be a new profession even though.
I wants it. O_O
My biggest issue with new LA is the piazza area. It is sterile and lifeless. There are parts of LA that are beautiful and I think an improvement, but that’s not where we spend our time when we’re in LA. So instead of seeing the best of new LA, we mainly see the marine-life buildings and the empty, wasted piazza that doesn’t even have a lion statue. It hurts my soul.
(and to keep it on topic – the halloween decorations for new LA are simply inferior. Having the twisted trees with spooky pumpkins and fall inspired corn stalks doesn’t fit the new aesthetic, so we get bland candy corn. Booooo. I can’t say it enough. BOOOOO!)
This is what Halloween in Tyria should ALWAYS look like…
So i made this Tyria’s first pooping toilet!…..while were at it anet please give us proper beds….i’ve had to improvise……
I laughed so loudly and suddenly, I scared my cat.
Excelsior.
I arrived 1.5 years ago and have two characters. Each of them are levelled only by wandering around Tyria and killing everything that causes beef with me. Enjoy it that way much more than anything – not even map completition.
It takes roughly 6-8 months to get my characters to Level 80 and then I do the same in Maguuma Jungle. And guess what – that is probably the reason why I am that one special snowflake not crying about being burnt out, about how stale the game is etc. I’ve accidently used one level-up thing once and since then trashed all the 100+ I’ve received.
I know now what I can fight and what not. Because I do not have someone support me. I do not have Mesmers around me “taxi” me around, I do it myself. I am a lone wolf and that’s what I enjoy. I also would never let me get a mentor in a video game – What is that all about?
People smoke a cigar in 1 minute and then wonder where the enjoyment is supposed to be; you only get a headache and complain about the cigar manufacturer.
But this is the world of today: People rush, rush, rush and are actually sad inside, but they’ve got shiny stuff (Cellphones, cars, Segways, Legendary weapons) but do not enjoy it the slightest…
Greetings and Excelsior,
a special snowflake of genuine leveling like it’s 1998.
I salute you. Excelsior!
Awesome idea!

To be fair they had to go a very round-about route because of the charr, Stone Summit and geography at the time. They went from Ascalon city up to Yak’s Bend (which is in Frostgorge Sound) and then all the way down to the northern edge of Lornar’s Pass before going slightly north again into Kryta and then south to Lion’s Arch.
These days there’s a pretty much straight path across the mountains through Wayfarer’s and Snowden.
Good point.
Remember, in GW1, a good part of the story was just the trek from Ascalon to Lion’s Arch. The world seemed bigger then
True Holiday Spirit! You are awesome!
I love the idea, I’m just not sure how it would work within the GW2 world. There isn’t any lore that I know of for undead creatures aside from the minions that necromancers create temporarily and zhaitan created permanently…
GW1 has Necrotic Transversal and GW2 has a teleport via the Wurm minion, so having Necromancers teleport would not be new.
Lord Faren Speedo Outfit – basically just your own character in a pair of Lord Faren’s Speedo’s.

Dhuum’s armor set (see 3rd pic – and ignore his scythe, as it should be sold separately) – this would unlock a set of light armor skins so you could mix and match your armor. This could really be a great addition to the Dhuum’s soul reaper skin. I would imagine plenty of gemstore sales with this armor and his scythe skin. It would be cool to have the glowy green heart dyeable too, so you could have it, say, blue, for a guardian, or green for a necro, or pink/purple for mesmer, etc.
Yes, these would both be HAWT.
Oh yes…. O_O

There’s a GW Tumblr? O_O
Wow, would have liked to have known about that….
Does anyone but Gaile even know these Forums exist?
Way to convert aura trinket jewels to infusions, so I’m not stuck with one gold trinket just to have a Ghastly Glow.
even better, Add auras to wardrobe with some kind of just checkbox for each one you have so you can pick as many or few as you want on all your characters without having to wear specific gear or get a 1000g+ item for every character you want it on.
That works.
In LS2 there was an episode, where Inquest dissected sylvari, and they clearly stated, that there were no reproductive organs at all. Of course, we can assume, that sylvari can grow these organs in a century or so, byt we can also assume that they can grow into an elder dragon and sneeze icecream. Assumptions are a vague thing, especially if they are not based on facts.
I really want the ability to sneeze icecream
I… I have one main. That’s… that’s why it’s a “main.”
o.O
I agree about the Jumping Puzzles. Mainly cause I have problems with my hands. But usually I can find a Mesmer to help. Even the EB one, which you need the stupid checkpoints.
State we being outpaced by Quaggans due to focus on deadlocked feudal politics. Crowd starts arguing the semantic differences of different feudal political systems -.-
At least this lends accuracy to the in-game representation!
:D
And a way to convert Endless costume tonics to Endless Combat tonics.
Cause… Hellfire Skeleton in Combat = Awesomeness.
Way to convert aura trinket jewels to infusions, so I’m not stuck with one gold trinket just to have a Ghastly Glow.
“Jungle Faren” Outfit
“Southsun Faren” Outfit.
Maybe Jormag’s minions are just crazy because of all the mixed-up magic signals these days?
I wasn’t overly fond of Braham to begin with but now I full on detest him. This isn’t just grieving, this is being selfish, nasty, disrespectful and irresponsible. He may be Norn, but the first Norn I knew was Jora and she knew when to seek help and remained respectful despite the hell she was going through. Not Braham. He crossed the line several times with the way he addressed the Commander, even going so far as to say someone who orchestrated the fight against two dragons wouldn’t be welcomed by Eir into Destiny’s Edge. That can’t be fixed by any sorry that may follow later. I think we’re meant to temporarily dislike him until he comes around but I don’t want him in Dragon’s Watch anymore. What also really stung is that Rox didn’t say anything to defend the Commander. Instead of telling Braham he was out of line, she just stood there and when he told her to follow, she just did. As for the Commander, at first keeping calm out of respect for what Braham is going through, fine, but not becoming angry at these insults? Not stopping him from endangering so many lives? That’s just not realistic. “He certainly doesn’t want to be around me right now.”? Who cares! Braham can leave and take Rox (Braham is bae), Marjory (nobody tells me what to do) and Kasmeer (who?) with him. Taimi, Canach and Rytlock I like.
I know right. What really annoyed me the most was that the Commander didn’t retort anything he said. I certainly would have!
“Try losing your mother!”
As a human with the ‘lost parents’ background I would’ve said “I did lose her… to the white mantle. Which you dismissed as ‘lol just human crap’”“My mother wouldn’t want you in Destiny’s Edge!”
How would you know? You barely even knew her, there are things in my fridge older than your relationship with her.“The pact you commanded!”
Oh so you think the Pact’s defeat, and by extension your mother’s death, is my fault? Trahearne was the one who led that attack, he was the one who messed up and I had to deal with the aftermath. Seriously this mission just should’ve ended like this:
Exactly. He acts like we never lost anyone. Hell, we lost our two best friends, Tybalt (or equivalent) who sacrificed himself (or herself) so we could escape Claw Island, and Treherne (sp?) who we had to kill with his own sword. Right.
Never mind. Figured it out. Don’t use minions.
Fortunately, I had a Mad King cookie on me, so I was able to kill them all, to time things better.
At the final battle of Precocious Aurene, she only attacks when the boss’s health is full. She never finishes him off, and the battle is taking forever.
Please, what do I have to do to make her attack twice in a row?
It’s probably something obvious I’m missing.
This is the only reason I haven’t made Nightfury. I wear the Noble outfit but Nightfury doesn’t show on Outfits. And even if I was to show my armour instead, it would be ruined without my current shoulder piece.
I’d prefer if they just changed all the shoulder/infusion/upgrade slot auras into toggled effects. Add a new slot on the Hero panel that lets you bind auras across all characters (people with multiple can then sell their excess), and allow auras to be toggled on each character.
That would be best. I love my Ghastly Glow (and the new Spectral one from this year) but I have to have ONE exotic trinket on my toon to keep each one, so I can never be fully ascended and keep my glow.

As the dragon flies.
I’m not being self-centered when I ask for skins to be limited to those around at a certain time & place. In particular, I enjoyed that feature of GW1 even though the skins I wanted remained unavailable to me while GW1 kept the skins specific to each year’s festivals.
It’s about enjoying the idea that I can see who was playing at certain times. To me, it’s similar to wearing a T-Shirt from running the Boston Marathon 2010: if you ran it, you should have the shirt; if you didn’t (or at least aren’t shacking up with someone who did), you should not. At least, not in my opinion.
Some people like all skins to be available to everyone, including, of course, completionists, who want all the skins. It’s a different point of view, not any better or worse than wanting some things to be limited.
tl;dr try not to presume the motivation of people who disagree; it’s enough to simply offer your own opinion.
Exactly. The Mad Memories skin(s) were rewards in a very long and detailed scavenger hunt, in which you uncovered Lore about King Thorn. Some of us were still relatively low levels, and had to have help getting into some of the areas. Keep in mind, this was before the wardrobe, so if you wanted a character to have the thing, he had to do the WHOLE quest for each toon.
While I’m not one for exclusivity in general, in this case, I think it should stay how it is, UNLESS they bring back the whole quest line to get it, to make it fair, both for those of us who worked for it, and those that want it now.
Yeah, I lost a lot of fun convos I had in the Lab over Halloween…
Southsun’s automatic-strip-you beach
I love the green skins
Makes the poly-luminescent trinket glow really POP.
I just want to have beach parties there.
Hello.
I feel like the preview panel could use some updates because it seems lacking in what we can actually preview.
Things I’d like to see change:
1. Make the panel bigger and add a zoom in/out function.
2. Put in a preview-mode for wielding weapons the proper way; and not like a Greatsword sticking out awkwardly that you can’t even see how you will hold it on your character.
3. Put in a preview-mode for equipping armors and wielding weapons while your character is doing the running/walking animation. (or even sitting, dancing.. you name it)
4. Connect the preview panel directly to your personal/bank wardrobe and also your dye panel so you can select anything easily. If anyone else has any ideas or suggestions then feel free to post them below! o/

Yet another plea for the Risen Disguise ( https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Order_Risen_Disguise ) to be made an Outfit!
I mean, look how cool this is…
(edited by Gryphon.2875)
Nothing wrong with Asura height, and I can see mine just fine even zoomed out.
I honestly tune out most of these things so I just don’t notice them anymore. The only one I can’t seem to is that Norn woman in Hoelbrak that yells,
“Take heed! I haven’t taken leave of me senses! I’ve seen creatures of metal and steam!”
Really, lady? I thought we covered why they were there years ago. Get with the times.
She…
She really needs to be removed.
