I have wanted these NPC outfits as Gem Store Outfits for the longest time.
I have wanted these NPC outfits as Gem Store Outfits for the longest time.
I have been thinking that it would be kind of nice to have Invisible Weapon Skins. I use a lot of magic based characters in this game and think that hand magic would look great.
Any thoughts?
If you use magic in this game, you should know that weapons are critical in using certain magics. I’m not against ANet offering a premium “Emperor’s Weapon Set” of invisible skins; I don’t think it would fit the lore that well.
In guild wars 1, you didn’t need weapons to do magic. Everything’s in flux
Although I love all the Halloween skins, my favorite is the one my Necro has…
The Crossing
I just now realised that one of the slots is now constantly blocked by a totally useless seasonal item. What kitten is that? Why on earth should I ever be motivated to buy BL-keys (which I never was anyway), if the number of slots who have the chance to contain something remotely useful or even a skin is effectively reduced by one?
And by the way: I already buy skins in the store regularely. I feel a little bit annoyed that maybe in the future skins will be hidden behind the BL-chest. Anet, I will most definitely will not buy your BL-keys to gamble to get a skin. If you want my money sell the things in the regular store. You will not get it otherwise.
This. All of this. Up there. Yup.
Hellfire Skeleton as an Outfit, and make the Risen Disguise ( from https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Help_the_Order_of_Whispers_instigate_a_fight_between_krait_and_Risen ) an Outfit. Please and thank you
I play all the time, but only buy Gems in October, but I buy like $100 worth, then, so not sure how that works out :P
The Risen Disguise ( from https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Help_the_Order_of_Whispers_instigate_a_fight_between_krait_and_Risen ) an Outfit. Please and thank you
Bag preview function should be extended to personalized ToT bags. Yes, it’s a new feature which only arrived during halloween. I still wonder, though, why only non-personalized ToT bags got a preview.
Both types of ToT bags: right click -> open all. This also applies to other bags, of course, especially to the Winter’s Day gifts. But while you’re at it, why not slap it on any type of bag? Mass salvage already stops upon inventory overflow, so that shouldn’t be a problem.
Limited finishers: right click -> use all.
Also, using limited finishers should not open the hero panel. And I HATE that I have to switch back to my preferred finisher afterwards. Stop messing with that!
These, definitely, please!
Plus, Hellfire Skeleton as an Outfit, and make the Risen Disguise ( from https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Help_the_Order_of_Whispers_instigate_a_fight_between_krait_and_Risen ) an Outfit. Please and thank you

I would like to see wardrobe slots. As it is, I am limited to one look unless I want to spend charges. I’d like to be able to switch around to different looks depending on my mood, what I’m doing, etc.- I might want to change looks several times a day. It’s just not doable with having to spend charges every time. What I’m proposing, we could have wardrobe slots and add our looks to those and switch around at will. The other games I’ve played allowed us a dozen or more looks in this fashion.
I’d suggest to go a step further and detach skins from gear/stats entirely. Allow us to equip skins in “skin slots” and gear in “stat lots”.
I often switch between multiple gear sets and craft new ones with different stats (I run multiple different builds for different situations) and it’s a hassle that I have to reskin and redye each piece everytime I get a new set.
A good example of what I want is how it works in Black Desert Online. It kinda works like outfits in GW2, except each armor slot has its own “outfit slot”.
SWtOR has the same.
So as the title states I wonder where one can find more necromancer lore? Like any other information that what exists on the wikis(GW1&2). Like what ideology do they have? Besides power and revenge that is the reason Desmina becomes Grenth’s first. And that he takes her in when no other god does but, well. I want moar!
Might be fun for you to play a Necro during the Pre-Searing story for GW1, read all the dialogue, explore the old Catacombs. Some lore, lots of flavor.
Chaos gloves, but for every other piece of gear. Chaos chest, chaos boots, chaos pants, chaos hood . I just want to be a human shaped dyeable glow, sort of like an anomaly but…pink.
I want a way to hide avatars of other people that use this.
Awesome XD

Wardrobe Unlocks are nice but for free accounts Royal Guard Outfit is also included for free players. A reward for accounts created before August 29, 2015. Just a year after HoT was released they do this to veteran players? This was the one thing we got for buying the core game seperatly for 50€? This is the outfit which should say:
“Wear it with pride whenever you want to show that you were there early on, and that you’re someone that new players can go to for help.” Nah, just stick it to BLC. kitten this.REMOVE achievement rewards from this kittenty Wardrobe Unlock box and also remove Royal Guard Outfit from loot table.

Then, this means that The Mad king either doesnt love me for not falling to his tricks or there is something very fishy, since :
- Got 2 fragments by unintentional participation(10 mins AFK in LA at TP);
- Went with the same character 2 hours later, with the intention to get the remaining fragment, got the event Gold and Karma reward, but no chest with fragments;
- Then i went with another character 2 hours later, since i thought its character participation limit, got Karma and Gold reward and STILL no fragment…I really dont get it.
So, its either you are mistaken or just the game hates me
Edit : Or not just me, since i heard from at least 5 more people, that they have the same problem. You are limited to getting 3 key fragments per day. It doesn’t matter if they come from teh same event or from doing the event multiple times, but once you hit 3 key fragments in one day you can’t get anymore
He only got 2, total, from all of that.
Sometimes you don’t get credit for more than one participation, even if you have 2 keys sitting in your inventory.
I’ve gotten 1 fragment during one mad king says and the other 2 for that day 2 hours later. Where does it say you can only have one participation per account per day?
You’re supposed to be able to, but sometimes it just doesn’t work.
It’s absolutely fine just as it is.
The only gripe I have is, regarding the Wardrobe Unlock. The Royal Guard outfit should be removed. That’s all.
Wardrobe Unlocks… For free accounts Royal Guard Outfit is also included. A reward for accounts created before August 29, 2015.
When this item was released they stated :
“To celebrate this special three-year anniversary of Guild Wars 2, we’re giving current players an all-new Royal Guard Outfit. Wear it with pride whenever you want to show that you were there early on, and that you’re someone that new players can go to for help.”This was reward of buying the game for 50€/$ since it didn’t require you to play the game, if you had account you got outfit. The outfit was the only thing we really got. We still had to pay for expansion the same price.
What the hell, Anet?
Okay, this is low. Anet… fix this. This should NOT be available.
And yet, among player characters, shirtless males are prohibited and most female outfits and gear are skimpy…
Guys, I really need a Face Slot for skins so I can wear my gem store Cat Ears with gem store Masks. You must find a way.
We just need a slot just for the cat ears, so we can wear them with everything.
Charr should meow.
+1 All of that
Beautiful, Necrotic Orr…. yes, please!
The combo pack is finally back. (yay) 4 days only however.
Still unhappy?! You got what you asked for. Get it. Use it. Have fun with it. You do not need 4 days to make a simple buy in gem store that can be done in 4 seconds.
ArenaNet listened, they actually listened to community about the mini cat witch and bad wings. You should enjoy, and say thank you, not criticise.
The guy just stated that it was back (although necro’d 2 separate threads)
I don’t see complaints – chill out.
No. I shall not chill out (unless some necro will put the chill condition on me).
No player said thank you so far. Many asked for those wings, but so far I have seen 0 players coming and saying: Thank you ArenaNet.
This is just how an ungrateful community behaves. Many ask, complain, leave negative feedback, and when modifications are made and given as requested, only very very few say thank you.

Have you tried…. clicking the right button?
Yes, they need to bring back that GW1 tradition. Besides, there’s several masks from GW1 they haven’t brought in, so they don’t even have to think of anything new for awhile.
… for putting the Bat Wings combo back in the Gem Store
With the number of requests and threads about it, you would think they’d notice.
Is there anyway you can change these so that they are infusions rather then gems. I think people would get a lot more use of them if this was changed.
Better yet, a MF recipe to upgrade them to infusions… that way peeps have a choice.

I’d like to pose a question and make a suggestion. Why does a name change contract cost AS MUCH as a brand new character slot? I personally believe that you halved the price of a name change, you would increase sales of them exponentially. Why would someone waste their money/gems on a name change when, for the same price, they could just create a new toon? Please consider this request, as I’m not EVER going to buy a name change as long it costs so much… Oh and one other thing, why doesn’t a TOTAL Makeover Kit NOT include a name change? If I change the sex of the toon, it will most likely no longer have an appropriate name.. Thanks for your time.

:) Friends List upgraded Make everyone on my friends list name one specific color, like you do with people in your guild is one color. I would love to be able to go fight in the world of Tyria, and see people on my friends list. Having my friends list character names lit up with just one color, so I know that person is on my friends list, and that would intern make it easier to play with them out in the world of Tyria.

Hi all,
You’ve probably noticed that the champions in the labyrinth haven’t felt as challenging this year as they did in previous years. The only actual change to them was a bug fix to the lich to keep him from summoning unlimited minions at high event scaling. But they all felt easier because they hadn’t kept up with the power growth of the player base. We gave them all quick buffs today.
Additionally, with this map being as profitable as it is, a lot of players have started triggering diminishing rewards. That’s just not cool. So we disabled diminishing rewards on this map.

Thank you!
The community has been calling him Steve for more than 2 years now.
This.
Not sure, but I would love an Android version of GW1 <3
I’ve always called the Horror “Steve…”
O_O
I want them tooooooooo!
D:
Specifically I’d like the disease condition to make a return in gw2. And Minions that are spammable and use corpses to be summoned.
Disease was an awesome condition that would spread from like creature to like creature. Though they would have to change it to spreading from foe to foe, it would be a fun condition to return to. With conditions stacking intensity now, regardless of the damaging condition, it would need to be reworked, however it could be balanced and would be a very interesting tool the condi necromancer could use.
Corpse Minions would be fun. At the moment no matter what I do I don’t feel like the master of undead that I felt like in GW1. And this has a lot to do with dedication. The Minion Master in gw2 will never be as dedicated to the art as the gw1 was because they didn’t design pro support in mind when designing their minions. The necromancer doesn’t have a dedicated support weapon that has an added benefit for minions and the minions themselves are effectively pets and not fodder. Now of course that’s not entirely true with Jagged horrors, however the jagged horrors are hardly noticeable through the trait and on Lich form they still don’t have that same feel that the MM had in GW1. I understand the problems of allowing minions to snowball like they did in GW1, however there will always be a missed opportunity in GW2 with minions we just wont get… Not until GW3 comes out.
I would like a combo of the new pet minions and the old expendable ones, for variety
Personally, I’d love to see a “Hellfire Skeleton” outfit, instead of a tonic. I made the unlimited one, but I wanna be a burning skeleton in combat :P
Plus add a public “pool” in Lions Arch near the mystic forge where you automaticly change to your underpants when you go swimming there.
Wow! Yes!!
Yes yes yes yes!
Thanks for the link!
I must have missed something, I thought the only update we were getting on Tuesday was Halloween.
What changes are you so worried about?
Big ole marked post by Gaile, titled “Upcoming balance changes”.
I guess this is why I could never be a ‘meta game’ player. Even though my main is a druid I looked at that as a list of tiny changes to skills I’m not sure I use and promptly forgot all about it.
I think the only times a balance patch has affected how I play was when they completely changed dervishes in GW1 and when they removed ground-targeting from ranger traps in GW2. Other than that I tend to look at the updates, decide I really can’t understand why it matters if a cooldown is 4.5 seconds or 5 seconds or whatever and go back to playing.
Excellently said.
Sometimes I really miss the old Transmutation system. You could basically select two items and pick what you wanted to keep from each one, and (I think) it worked on story rewards too. The two items would then become one new item with what you selected.

Well, the OP likes all of the other HoT maps, so it must come down to the convoluted layout. This is not a permanent problem. It just depends on whether or not it’s worth it to you to learn. But here’s a quick explanation of how to unravel this map in case you’d like to try…
First, note the wallows on the map. They make it MUCH easier to get around and, unlike waypoints, wallows never become contested. Your first move should be to locate the wallow south of Order of Whispers waypoint. Don’t worry! You can walk right over to it, no navigation required!
This wallow leads to the undergrowth connector. Follow the path upward and you will find another wallow very close by that will take you to Teku Nuhoch waypoint.
TN waypoint has 3 wallows next to it. Take the wallow to Leyline Confluence and take the path downward. Cross Rata Novus lane and continue east where you will run straight into Rata Novus waypoint.
Head back to Rata Novus lane and follow it south, where it opens into a huge cavern with a waypoint in the center.
From here you can follow either of the eastern tunnels to reach SCAR waypoint, although the northernmost tunnel requires wallows to reach it.
Alternatively, take the western tunnel (ogre lane). Where the tunnel branches north you’ll see a wallow to ogre camp and the associated waypoint.
Return to ogre lane and continue west. You’ll hit Dragon’s Passage waypoint.
And now you have all of the waypoints.
Of course, that isn’t all there is to TD, but knowing how to easily reach the waypoints creates the framework you’ll build upon to understand this map. Many of the objectives (HPs, MPs, POIs, vistas) are hidden in areas that aren’t clearly marked with paths on the map. But as you discover them you should begin to add them in to what you already understand about the layout.
Eventually, it all comes together and makes sense. And when it does you realize there are many different ways to get around and between waypoints on this map. It’s really rather convenient once you get it.
