@OP I got my gift of exp like many of the others, by watching the wvw maps and seeing when my server seems to get ambitious attacking a map. It ended up being one keep w/ one vista for about a month or two until we finally got that map as our home map. Stay with it. Its annoying to get all of the wvw PoIs, but not game breaking if you time it right and stay aware of who’s winning in WvW. Barring that, if you are impatient, you can xfer servers.

I don’t know if they really expected folks to have many multiples of Legendary weapons, but this seems pretty short sighted considering what they HAVE taken the time to add to legendaries. Maybe we’ll see more when they add more legendaries.
The spectral looking swords (blue glowies) seem to match with Bolt if you are hard set on a dual sword build. Or you can go with something that looks shorter like a parrying sword/dagger since we’re not specifically “dual wielding” like… pretty much every other game’s idea of dual wielding.
They had to SPAWN MORE OVERFLOWS!
They have to play that card carefully if they do at all. Not many MMOs have pulled that off seamlessly, even when coupled to expansions with lots of additional content.
Honestly, I’d see them adding races before adding classes as a racial addition requires a lot of art/voices and possibly a new zone, but not a whole lot of “balancing” in regards to the way the game plays now. A Skritt warrior might have skill point skills that involve “shinies”, but the rest of the balance “should” be comparable to a human or charr.

Ascended armor should just have swappable stats.
THAT is the reason we should want to make it and why the costs are worth it.

Guessing you don’t mean the Dwarf Fortress version of “fun”.
Depends of my focus with a game. Depending on the game, I focus on different things more than others.
1. Achievements – Some games are fun to “achieve” things in, set goals and work towards something in particular in game. Looking back over everything it took to get through to reach the end is pretty satisfying… some of the time. Some days I feel like that’s my sole reason for logging in.
2. Exploration – I run this one out pretty quick my first few passes through a game. By my second 80, I wasn’t hitting this one so hard, but nowadays when I see a little detail off to the side that I never noticed before that connects with other things, or I find a look for my character I never imagined possible, its fun.
3. Social – love hanging out with people, talking with guildies and running dungeons or events together. Its kind of a situational thing, but more times than not I’ve had more fun doing coordinated efforts because of the awesome folks in my guild. This is my normal reason for having fun in this game.
4. RP – Haven’t really gotten into this much with this game. For as much as this game seems to allude to this all being “my story”, it doesn’t have many tools or precedents that put the power of creation in my hands, just the power of choice. As someone who loves to write and come up with stories and characters, there’s not much entertainment in “getting into character” with any of them. Besides, if I want to fully RP, I’ll play Improbable Island.
5. New shinies – Sometimes Anet jingles something and my inner skritt’s ears pop up, but the gating system they have doesn’t work well with my preferred storytelling style. I’d prefer gorging on 5 seasons of something on Netflix to see “what happens next” rather than waiting two weeks to a month for another part of a story, especially when I am not completely certain what I should be looking forward to. There are times when I wish they took a JRR Martin approach to protagonists and everyone we can grow attached to has a very good chance of not making it out alive. I felt like they COULD have done something like that with some of the choices of the personal story like claw island, but even then that part of the story telling aspect didn’t really “work” and I ended up feeling like said sacrifice wasn’t very powerful. In the end, I try not to expect much from them, perhaps for their lack of a solid medium… perhaps for their fear of turning people off or away. I often feel like Anet is trying too hard to make us like them, while better storytellers, even Blizzard, keep up the “kitten you, we’re awesome, you know you’ll be back”. (and for those who hate Bliz, they do have their moments. Entaro Tassadar, kittens)

I see a lot of complaining in-game so what’s the point of this thread? XD
Although: Yes, GW2 is the best, despite all it’s flaws, but we’re supposed to find those flaws and bring them into attention so that the game is improved. Would be nice to get all my friends to actually want to play again instead of telling me there’s nothing to do anymore or that their frustrated with all the bugs, temp content instead of perm content and the creeping grindyness.
The logical problem with your thought process is that you assume the complaints are correct and that listening to them will make the game better. Players aren’t developers and often what they want and ask for would be worse.
The problem is people don’t know the difference between their opinion and objective fact.
The difference is the people complaining don’t have nearly the stake in the game as the company who financed it or the developers themselves.
So maybe they make the changes and your friends come back and they lose an half a million people in the process.
Just because you and your friends like something a certain way, doesn’t make that way better. And it doesn’t mean there aren’t tons of people who would hate that game and not want to play it.
Anet made a game. If you don’t like it, by all means, don’t play it.
But too many suggestions are out there that either won’t make the game better at all, or simply aren’t compatible with the game as it stands now.

Help me understand something about the 3 pack…
If each of these sold for 800 gems…. so 800 × 3 = 2400. Its selling for 2250 gems but it says the actual retail price is 3000 gems…. did the price of all permanent gathering tools go up?
Yeah, the price of the infinite tools was changed to 1000 gems each when they became account bound.
Aha… so…
Lets say I grind 300 mining, 300 lumber and 150 weeds = 3x each type of ori tools at 4s a piece? 12×3 = 36 silver.
Or… I can buy a tool for 1000 gems which costs 12 bucks (like 80G – 8G per 100gems to buy)… and oh… they have a cool animation…
If I totally farmed my ears off every day, I might eventually farm enough to actually consider this worth the use practically… no doubts they look cool, which, if that’s your thing I totally understand, but….
They seem excessively expensive for what they are…. I might consider the sale at half the cost, but I’ll happily leave the current price to the wealthier folks who consider it cool or a real convenience.

At that price, I best get twice the mats from each use over the Ori tools. That’s something like 12 bucks each tool, right?

The infusions are the risk we cannot judge at the moment. Will Arenanet continue the vertical progression via infusions? What will be the “high level” infusions that were mentioned by Linsay Murdock in the blog post dealing fractals and ascended items?
If we see a vertical progression via infusions beyond AR then ascended items will be highly demanded for several aspects of the game.
We will cross that bridge when we come to it.
it s just the beginning of the treadmill.
and i think everyone of us knows itYou can’t know it, because it hasn’t happened yet. You merely fear it is so, and what’s more if it never happens it won’t be because they didn’t intend for it. It’ll be because “we complained so much they decided to reverse course”.
Agreed.
But seriously, there aren’t THAT many PVE goals to have in game that don’t involve grinding for more gear at this point. If we are all happy and maxed (stat and sexy wise) on 8 character slots… and we don’t prefer PvP…. then… whats the reason to log in at all? Living story anyone?
To be honest, Anet doesn’t have a very expansive PvE endgame compared to its vertical progression competitors. They should totally follow in SWTORs footsteps in what I think we can all agree should totally happen in GW2… Space Combat.
They had to SPAWN MORE OVERFLOWS!
What about sexy grinding? I kinda like that…
Game grinding, much less so, but I didn’t feel like I “grinded” to level 80… it took like 2 weeks. I didn’t feel like I had to grind enough for basic exotics…. I just sold the mats I gathered during level up. I never felt like I needed to grind achievements, I just set goals and played the game. I never fall asleep in group events or dungeons due to tank and spank, heal and repeat.
That being said, endgame PvE is kind of a mess and requires too much gold grinding to keep up with crafting and skin aquisition, but I’m told that I shouldn’t care what I look like anyways unless I"m willing to do whatever is necessary to be pretty. aaaaand that’s where the sexy grinding kicks in…

They are tweaking the market and have said so in an article back in Sept. What that means could be anything, with most assumptions being they added things to affect the market (up values of mats by addition of lucrative recipes), but the gem to gold conversion rate may have been part of it. /shrug.
As for the whole conspiracy theorist/“cynical realist” debate… let it rest. Anyone who thinks our RL or in game economy is a direct result of supply and demand is as much kidding themselves as anyone who think every irregularity in the market is proof of insider trading. Play the game if its fun, play something else if its not.

Buff Eternity. Its not shiny enough. Seriously, I can only see 5 or 10 galaxies in its skybox when clearly it should hold the majesty of at least a small universe. And it should hit harder…because of reasons.
@OP
1. guest on a high pop server and you’ll find the Orr events done more often. Although the events become bland after a while, I feel its less because of mechanics and more about the lack of challenge when in a massive zerg. There’s less accountability when you add so many people to a fight, but yeah… really not complaining. Events are for farming and can be fun if you keep your playstyle varied.
2. I don’t feel the need for faster leveling to be honest. Its… part of playing the game. And lets face it, SWTOR leveling process of planet hopping isn’t exactly as revolutionary thing like GW2 and…. man I hate Taris. Its not the quests… its.. I don’t know, the coloring? The swamp-like atmosphere… the way it goes out of its way to keep your from getting anywhere fast? Balmorra’s close, but I’m pretty sure double xp weekends were made specifically for Taris.
3. Haven’t done much in PvP, so its still shiny. I need to play it more to give any worthwhile feedback.
As for my own feedback ideas.
a) TP overhaul. Need light/med/heavy search priority, needs back pieces and whatever you guys did to kitten up searching for runes and sigils, please unkitten this. A baseline timer to keep price gougers in check would be neat too.
b) .More armor skins that play well for mix/match. A buttcape toggle, so we can use some of the more awesome tops without the drapes. Heavy armor that seems “lighter” and light armor that seems “heavier”. More unique helms that are goggles/blindfolks/eyepatches for all armor types.
c) More LS events that drop enough gold to make farming more fun? The original Scarlet invasions lasted what, two weeks? and were fun/profitable. They should have just removed the event after the nerf as practically noone on my server cares to do them now. Even if its just one week out of a month where we can concentrate on something shiny, new and profitable, just to mix things up a bit would be more fun.
d) a raise for the forum mod that will shortly translocate this thread to the suggestions forum? This may or may not have been editted by the forum mod, but.. you’ll never know for sure! muahaha!

IMO, it’s gone a bit too far and the game has moved a bit too close to real life where you “farm” money in a soul-destroying job to buy the stuff you really want.
Not the game just people’s mentalities.
Its only like that if your only focus is getting stuff you want using the quickest and most tedious means possible as apposed to just enjoying the game’s playable content and letting gold and mats come to you as you go. Then yeah you are laboring in a game like its a job, which could happen in even the most casual of MMOs.
That’s true to a point, but it’s gone so far that if you don’t farm you’re looking at years to complete some of these things. That’s a lot of dedication.
When I was playing in around November 2012, I figured that at the rate I was playing and getting drops, it would take me more than 3 years to get a legendary weapon, and things were A LOT cheaper then.
I feel ya. There’s a fine line between dedication and obsession. I will say though, GW2 WANTS to be a casual game. Its what pulled me in. Its the reason it takes 2 weeks of casual play to hit 80 on a character and you definitely get the feel that its one of those “easy to play, hard to master” metas. I was hoping this game would be about playing skill instead of gold sinks, but maybe they’ll do a ladder in PvP that rewards legendaries there. Gotta admit, I’m starting to find a whole lot more fun in “the other half” of this game anyhow. /shrug

This situation is not analogous. You can’t compare a real life lottery where folks spend small amounts of real currency for a chance to win a very large amount of real currency to a situation where people are spending real currency for a virtual product that is worth nothing outside of its virtual domain. I believe that if you’re spending actual currency there should be at least some minimal guarantee that you’ll receive something deemed of worth by the virtual market.
I agree with the majority here — we should get more for our money. The best way to make that happen would be to continue to voice our thoughts on these forums and stop buying keys until changes are made.
I’m gonna skip the discussion of whether a virtual reality is a reality or not since it’s only partially relevant.
Let’s say you are German and as such use Euro as your real life currency. What you are basically saying is that if you purchase a lottery ticket with euro it’s ok to get nothing in return. But if you were to convert your euro to rupees and buy a lottery ticket with those, you should be guaranteed to win something because those rupees aren’t your real life currency. I’m pretty sure you’ll disagree with that. But why are rupees any different from gems? Because the one exists in a physical form and the other doesn’t? You did spend euro on both though.
The problem isn’t with the BLK, it’s with your perception of BLK, gems and thus GW2 as worthless for being virtual. But you aren’t spending your euro on a random virtual item. You are spending them on a hobby. Just like a stamp collector doesn’t randomly buy a coin and an art collector doesn’t end up with a living horse, you aren’t a SWTOR player buying BTKs.
Lastly, back to the lottery. Just because you are buying a lottery ticket for an item with limited “domain” doesn’t mean you are entitled to winning that item or an item of higher value than the ticket. If I buy a ticket for a lottery where the grand prize is an engraved watch, am I entitled to winning something? Since it’s engraved with, say, my name and the lottery date, it’s practically unsellable. Does that mean that by buying the ticket, I should by guaranteed to win a watch that I can sell since I’m spending real cash on it and it’s worthless outside my collection?
I see what you mean and I understand where you are coming from. I think what people are wanting here, especially since we are talking virtual items, which can be mass produced for essentially nothing, that the rewards be more tempting.
Lets use your lottery analogy. The lottery company needs to do… a slight modification to what the boxes drop and in turn, are out NOTHING for costs and should they put more tempting items in those boxes, people would be more inclined to buy the keys for them.
Best thing you can get from them now is a Black Lion Ticket. At best, its time sensitive, based on whether the special weps cost 1 BLT, but it could mean either an awesome skin or… what, average of 80g if the wep is sold on the TP. So, with your lottery analogy, you buy a 10g ticket that might have a small chance of netting you 80g grand prize. Oooooo.. Spoil me.
What if the permanent hair style item came back into circulation? What if the perminant bank, TP or BL vendors came back into circulation? What if the special skins themselves came into circulation? What if currently unobtainable past back pieces and items became rare drops from BL chests? Maybe the BLTs get a bump to drop rate and be the “didn’t win, but got something for my trouble” prize and something MUCH better became the reason to shoot for them. If the RL lotto charged me one dollar for a chance to win 80 bucks and normally I get pocket change, I won’t risk buying any.
That all being said, I am a shamelessly legendary defender of Shaemoor garrison. Big Nose Ted and I are practically drinking buds and little D’s got some seriously awesome tats… Blaize and Johnny really are just kittens that bank on looks (or scars) to win affections. Logan’s alright after you get a few drinks in him, but I’m not sure how many beers he’d need to finally realize the Countess is sweet on him. Kinda tragic.. but.. oh well, so long and thanks for all the keys….

Oh and town clothes I’m down for at least the option to automatically swap into something. I don’t do that much sitting around in towns where I’d want something social to actively swap into.
Its kinda like pets and polymorphs. They need a pet summon or polymorph button that you can drag/drop a pet into, so that its either easy to pop out or stays out until you put it back in. I get tired of opening my inventory to use my endless cat potion and just forget about it until I’m just standing around…

It would be nice to swap races. You aren’t even able to see what the cultural armors LOOK like on a different race so your equip would become as valuable as the sum of what parts they can be broken down into.
I think they’ll have a system for it eventually. Many of the same criticisms for this were made in WoW…. until years past and they finally allowed my nightelf hunter on one server to become a bloodelf hunter on another server. I think most folks think swapping professions is where the line is drawn.
Especially in this game, you may as well just make an alt. 20 booster and a week or so and you’re back to 80 anyhow.

I had the same problem. I didn’t want platemail bikinis, but I also didn’t want something completely manish. I went Banded armor with human T2 shoulders for a while, sort of going for a Ragnarok Online swordswoman look.
Eventually, I found that I prefered steampunking her, so I went with Aetherblade and ended up using this for a base: http://www.gameskinny.com/cdgze/announcement-winners-of-the-guild-wars-2-fashion-contest/8
Head – hidden
Shoulders – hidden (Priory can work well)
Chest – OoW
Legs/boots/gloves – Aetherblade Heavy
Weapons – OoW line. They mostly “fold up” and fit the look pretty well.
I may go different gloves/boots later on, but for now I’m just playing with colors to get things the way I want. I’m feeling like moving away from showing armor that can be hidden and trying to work sort of a “ground up” start minimalistic-like and go from there. Really, the only things you have to show are chest, legs and boots.

The most enjoyable times I’ve had in game come from playing it cool, taking my time, enjoying the content with friends and running a dungeon or two with guildies. Its not about who can get the most gold or needing more content to consume, but taking it easy and making the most enjoyable use of your time in game.
They had to SPAWN MORE OVERFLOWS!
I say “working as intended” because it is.
The TP was created to allow the players as a whole, not Anet, to control the market. And they do. What you, among others, want is for Anet to step in and manipulate the market so that it works for you personally and not according to the actions of the players in general.
The TP is cross-server and millions of items flow into and out of it every day. It is not under the control of a particular group of players. What you are actually asking is that Anet place it under the control of a small group of players (yourself and others who want what you want) at the expense of the player base as a whole.
Fortunately, the only response from JS (if he responds at all) is a little snarky humor and reassurances that the TP is not being manipulated by the Tin Hat cabal.
Which, of course, we all know isn’t true.
OK… think I was misunderstood.
What happens now:
Someone lists dusk for 800g. That’s their price. They don’t have to touch it and it retains that “imbued” price until someone can buy it or the lister decides to take a hit and lower it, which they really have no need to do. It requires NOTHING on the part of the seller to just keep it there. It forces everyone who wants dusk for twilight to jump through whatever hoops are necessary to afford it, not by game design, but by player greed.
What I propose is a timer to keep pressure on the top end, so that sellers don’t get comfortable just picking prices they feel others should be able to afford, but rather keeping prices competitive with what the sellers believe they can get for items in a short period of time. It brings the top end supply down to meet where player demand is.
Now:
Sell order for dusk: 800G, buy order 500G
Sellers have no reason to drop the price, because they believe folks will pony up 300 more to hit “their mark” of 800 and buyers have no negotiating power so long as no one is willing to hit their buy order. Its a seller dominated market.
Proposed:
Sell order for dusk 600G, buy order 500G. If dusk sell order isn’t bought in a week, the item must be relisted and re-taxed by the TP. 6 days in, that buy order is looking MUCH more attractive.
Then… maybe with precursor crafting, that buy order of dusk comes down to a more reasonable 400G. Sell orders have to follow suit and drop to 500G or else risk not selling. The buyers keep the sellers honest by boycotting unreasonable pricing. If someone tries to bump up Dusk to 1k, they better have the money to keep it there for a while if the potential buyers decide they don’t REALLY have to have Twilight this week.
Its actually a step towards a far more equitable and reasonable system of using the TP for NEGOTIATING prices instead of sellers setting the bar and everyone else has to buck up or cry elsewhere.

/end Ayn Rand mode
I like you. You have a very different view of the world than me, but I appreciate what you took the time to write.
Like Ayn Rand, you’ve based the structure of your world on the ways of man and the things man has developed. You believe mankind’s nature has a sort of divinity as being perfectly imperfect and working as intended to fulfill what ever end it will, letting grace and compassion for your fellow man to wither in your heart like a stillborn in a dusty womb. It is a truly broken and meaningless existence when lives are valued by their productivity or usefulness to the greater good as agreed upon by the elite of men. A family is stronger bound with love and kindness than mutually beneficial agreements that only hold value so long as they are “fulfilled”. Greater is to be gained from the giving from yourself than the receiving and if we were not bound by human nature, freely giving and receiving, the powerful and self-less would be honored above all others. The precedent would be set that what you can be and do for others gives you the most value, and anyone can find a place to give of themselves, live happily and call home in such a world. BUT…. human nature happens… just like kitten.
I may sound a little naive, but my theory is that Ayn Rand would get shanked if she actually lived in the world she truly believed in. She would be quickly replaced with a younger, far more attractive person for less pay who is easier to control.
.
Specific counter to your in-game statement. The “wallstreet folks”, the ones that simply move money and value from one place to another, are actually a significant part of the reason both in-game and American economies are in decline. You can call that an imaginary “boogeyman”, but I prefer to see them for what they are, just greedy folks who don’t contribute, they just move things around and reinvest. Not bad folks, just greedy, hence the reason I believe the market needs a top end pressure, so you have a chance to someday have a buyers market, not just a constant seller’s market. A timer on all sell trades would help with that and allow the 15% tax to actually fulfill the gold sink its supposed to. It works in many other games to keep game economies in check (within reason), so… why not here?
Lastly, its a forgone conclusion to say that the “everyman” wants a handout. Rather, from what I see, the everyman wants a good market with competitive prices that doesn’t involve playing the game he didn’t buy (the TP), to enjoy all the things he wants to in the game that he DID buy (GW2). Dungeon armor and cheap exotics could be considered “welfare epics” while the greatest gear the game has to offer comes from the player dominated TP, not raiding, not through an impressive display of skill and not through a long and rewarding quest process where you gain everything you need just by ahem playing the game. (not grinding, not investing… just… playing the game naturally.)
So instead of saying: “Here’s your welfare epics, enjoy them OR you can pay MY legendary price for a legendary item. Do whatever you have to do to afford MY price”
lets instead say: "I have a week to sell Dusk on the TP and the top buy order is 500g. I better keep my sell price reasonable or I’ll have to re-list it in a week and I’m out another 15%.
Or… you know. precursor crafting/questing/rewarded for a display of gaming skill, but I’m willing to bet the timer is easier to program.
This game is not rocket surgery and its not wallstreet. If we remain reasonable, we can hit a happy medium without wealth redistribution and handing out 1st prize ribbons at the door.

i was all aquiver about rox’ quiver too, but then i discovered there are 5 or so ascended quivers. i may not give one skritt behind about ascended armour, but i am making one of these for certain (as soon as i find that vial of mist thingy)
Seriously… can they compare with the kittenery of Rox’s Quiver though? I’d hate to go through all the effort when they may start popping the ‘oldies but goldies’ back on the market. I think they’d be safe to go ahead and pull Broham’s armor set off if they needed a slot to replace it with something

Forget about daises and confetti. If I had a rainblower for my engineer I would just about die of happiness.
so. much. win.

sexy leather body suits…
Something has to balance the almighty trenchcoat paradigm. May as well be powered by sex appeal.
maybe steampun… I mean “Aetherblade” wings. Sort of a clockwork back slot that, I don’t know… people want to wear? Extra points if they move mechanically (little gears, clockwork parts, etc).
Ahem

You know what I want…
I want to equip Quip on my engineer…
and I want daisies and confetti to come out of my flame thrower instead of fire.
Keep the flaming noises. I’m not as far gone as the Pyro.
But I’m getting there with every patch that doesn’t make this happen…

I second this. I have gems waiting in my box to jump on it.

This…is kinda whats happened to the American economy. Instead of asking, is this right or does this really work for most people, it becomes its own game, where folks are moving money and assets to make more money and assets, and the folks who are actually productive of those monies and assets who are “just playing the game” get poorer and poorer as the market trends higher and higher. Its the sign of an economy that is losing its middle class.
Capitalism is what happened to the American economy. As for the alternative… don’t hold your breath. The TP was created to be under the direct control of the players and is working as intended. Anet is not likely to seize everyone’s assets and redistribute them according to the time spent in game or some other measurement.
The biggest difference between real world and game economics: in the game gold is literally pulled out of thin air. Anyone can spend a week doing 4-6 world bosses per day, sell the loot they get, and reinvest the money from those sales in the TP. Anyone. The only reason why people don’t have more than enough money for everything they want is that they won’t put the effort into acquiring the money.
Well put, but I wasn’t talking about socialism or communism. Just market limitations to keep them healthy and flowing for everyone rather than just the folks who know how (and prefer) to manipulate the values of items and money. As for “working as intended”, that’s a funny phrase that seems to capture the essence of both “I meant to screw up” and “Just deal with it” wrapped up with shiny paper and a bow that says in a drunk and fatherly voice “that’s the kinda love I have for ya, little kittener”. That being said, I truly hope everyone’s holiday season was “working as intended”.
Thinking further about this, I think there’s a possible fix to this dilemma.

1. Let sell orders last a week and then “eject” into your pickup bin.
- Everything on the market will come down in order for sellers to “move stock” and maintain good profit to avoid having to re-list and pay the tax again.
- A week allows most folks to still keep stock on the TP for short term sales and commodities. So folks who like playing the market can still do so.
- The precursor market comes down to the prices people are more willing to pay. The legendary SELLING market either disappears or diminishes down to lower end legendaries and BUY orders are empowered to be what people can expect to sell one for.
- It may actually pull the mass quantity and commodity markets down a bit in line with something more reasonable, which would make Ascended/Legendary paths more in line with “playing the game”.
In summary – this actually puts pressure on the top end of the market to keep people’s greed in check with actual demand and what people would be willing to pay for it.
-or-
2 – timers on Precursors and Legendaries. 30 day timer from drop/creation and it will auto-account-bind. This guarantees that the most valuable items on the market are moved within a reasonable amount of time for those who want profit and buy orders are filled for what gold people are willing to put down to buy one. It means the sellers are at the mercy of the buyers for high end purchases, not the other way around.
Either way, to keep the market from over inflating, while keeping people “playing the game” instead of just grinding content and playing the TP, we need a top end “pressure” to keep folks honest in their ideas of what profit they should make from an item. This works without adding more money to the economy and still “making the game fun” without turning everyone into “gold seekers” to get the gear/look they want. Timers on orders are pretty standard faire in most MMOs for a reason… they work to maintain the top end of the market and keep in game currency in line with enjoyably playing the game.
