Core guardian (burns, some healing support), moving up fast from 1550 currently. 2 d/c players and my skipping last season put me in t1 silver on placement. Since then I’m around 75% win rate. Trying hard to put a core build into plat or higher just to do it.
DH are a non problem for me I can 1v1 them easily due to my knowledge of the class and in teamfights they have to ress their downed at which point I bomb them to pieces.
Mesmers have too easy condi pressure, power Mesmer is good but takes a good player.
Elementalists are over the top unless youre team has someone specifically to kill them. Which most teams wont.
Necros could use some defensive skills while taking away from their groupfight pressure.
Warriors – condi stun locking is over rewarding. Tone it down. Power wise they are unbalanced still but no real way to tone them down.
Thieves are just terrible to see on your team when theres more than one. They’ll squabble over who will swap, and usually the more inexperienced one will stay which spells disaster for your team. Balance wise theyre too hard to hit during a team fight to bother, they should be forced to time their dodges not spam them.
Rangers are one of the heavier hitting power classes this season suprisingly. Took a 17k maul, which is insane damage using exotic stats. Balance damage back to the player not the pet.
Engineers have too much sustain. However you can force them to lose the point over time which makes them less offenders than eles.
And revs I would now call balanced. Middle of the pack. Mallyx revs have a ton of potential but its only unlocked by an insanely good player.

Analyzing that image:
1. You are under the standard 50% win ratio in all your games played.
2. Of the 172 games you are spread across most all professions so you probably lack mastery of them.
3. Your losses are all on revenant. The only win shown is from ranger.
4. You have a lot of top stats for your record. I have a 70% win rate overall from around 700 games but not stacking nearly as many top stats. This means you need to focus more on the objective of pvp.
Tomes are a 1-click delete level of useless. Yeah that 20k bank of shards I already have isn’t worth clicking through them.
You should be taking master of consecrations and pf. That’s your biggest nuke.
Core burns cant 1v1 very well, but they do live long enough for a teammate to back up the point. You excel the moment someone downs on either your team or the enemy and they all pile up. Load up the symbols on them with pf and its a team wipe every time the moment they go for their downed.
No you cant tourney when you cant enforce even matches. Get some ascended rewards flowing in wvw like pvp and youll see more people playing. Yeah some pve scrubs but some will eventually stay.
Other than archeage all those games are soon to be dead jokes.

There’s a 9/1 guy sitting happily in the top 5 since day 1. Supposedly he will decay but from what I get he only has to win 1 game a day really. Unplaced players need to have their core rating decay even if unplaced.
Somehow today I had 2 thieves on my team and both died within 5 seconds. Somehow they managed to rush far that fast and get themselves ganked impossibly fast. Before the match they fought about who would swap yet neither did. Then they called the team junk for dieing 2v4 at mid. Still won the match due to a DC on the other team.
Point is a good thief is invaluable. Not these yolo heros, a bad thief drags the team down so far it becomes hard to carry the match.
Most people in pvp have only base toughness. I fail to see why you’re hitting so low. I’ve rolled a warrior a few games this season when my main was a bad match. Gs f1 zerker hits hard af hitting 6k or higher once I properly stack might during the fight I’ve pulled 9k out of it. Not insanely high but that’s gonna hurt. Highest hit I’ve taken this season was a 17k Maul from a Druid pet.
Evans remarks are getting unprofessional. It’s fine for us but when it’s your job it’s not ok.
You could have made your title clear not some random troll clickbait.
People coming in late in the season need to be unable to rank into the top slots solely by placement. Start their decay even if they have placed.
Yeah they need to be vivid not socialist equality colors.
There’s other access to superspeed.
They also need to handle server crashes better. If no one is left in the match online it needs to cancel.

If you have 2-3 downs near you you should be cleaving anyways.
Ep in, burst, home in time for dinner. Any warrior can kill a DH with a semi competent burst.

Lol I luckily finished 5s before the crash. Everyone else got dishonor and a loss.
Hey anet if theres no one left in a match whats there to dishonor? Everyone online at the moment in pvp should have 1 loss removed from their record.
The drop rate was too high, people were exploiting the 10s npc value. Ascended gear has been added to pvp to offset this insanely rare item available only in wvw.
Hammer has a 1200 leap. You have superspeed. I fail to see the problem.

Mallyx revs are now strong duelists. It’s just rare I cross one being played correctly.
You’re playing a class with nearly limitless options to clear condis.
Try doing something other than skill spamming? Maybe clear with one of the fields you lay down. Don’t be a kitten.
This would be great, maybe make a set of ultimate titles. Top 100 of each class, only 3 titles first place, second through tenth, and another for the rest up to 100.

Also makes me laugh when I see number like 43% of team damage. Like even if I were beating on a bunker the entire match how could the others have dealt so little damage.
Havent had this problem, youre probably gaining some benefit from the skill then causing it to interrupt forcing full cd.

Wow the pvp ascended is so kitten easy to get. A few hours and ive got 4 pieces already.
I put it on the bug forum but anything that goes on there wont be fixed before the season is over.

The issue: [Virtue of justice] for core guardian was doubled in its duration of burning applied. This works fine until the trait [Permeating Wrath] is taken which forces it back to a pre-patch state with half the duration.
Note this only applies when permeating wrath is taken otherwise it is functioning correctly.

So a engi main can’t distinguish between a core class and an elite spec change.
Oh as a guard/engi main engi has much more auto play and is easy to play scrapper. Passive invuln saving you from bursts? Can’t get much easier.

I laughing inside at all the posts about DH getting buffed when only core guard is affected. So many people showing that they’re noobs who don’t understand the game.
Not that I support the topic but the code logic to do that is fairly simple.

It wouldn’t be a big deal if you couldn’t slot healing signet with adrenal health traited. This allows you to ignore condi builds while simultaneously outhealing power builds.
I can flip a t3 camp with allied mobs in under 10s in wvw from my burn guard.
Gee revs might actually have to swap weapons to combo their bursts now.
More damage means nerfing the utility and healing. You have to make the trade.
Like the fourth quarter thread about DH getting buffed I’ve seen.
Apparently people can’t understand that DH was nerfed, the Buff is minor and only applies to core guardian.
So get your facts straight before qqing.
