Llama with AoE stability on its F2.
Those are awesome, wrathes.
This has been mentioned many times before. I have an odd suspicion Anet thinks it’s functioning as it should, though.
Right now it will fire towards the target only if the toolbelt skill used also fires towards the target. Toolbelt skill like the ones you mentioned which don’t fire anything towards a target will cause the bolt to shoot out (1) in the direction your character is facing for the horizontal projection and (2) toward the center of screen for the vertical projection.
… I know, it’s kittened.
Someday… we’ll get a response, let alone a solution.

These are just two other threads that popped up on the issue… in less than 24 hours.
Go play Guild Wars 1.
The norn warrior I made after months of trying to make a charr warrior look even half decent. Sadly, charr are becoming more of a joke race at this point.
+1 to bringing back unobtainable armors. ASAP
I prefer the first solution. The more control I have the better.
And I see no problem with that.
I’m actually very surprised they opted to ignore the previously exclusive PvP armor sets – currently unobtainable – people have been asking for. This would have been the perfect time to add them to a reward track. I also desperately want to obtain the rest of the tribal set.
Can we turn unwanted gemstore skins into transmutation charges or something? I feel like it’s a waste to just destroy them.
Other option would be to add more distinction between sylvari and humans but that’s a million times more work.
I noticed a long time ago that sylvari are deformed humans. Everything you put on a sylvari looks 100 times better on a human. So my only option is to go into cultural armor and embrace the plant like creatures sylvari are. Then another problem arises. Each armor class has only 4 sets of sylvari armor to choose from and sadly, my sylvari is light armor. If he were medium or heavy I would be able to find something I thought was half decent but as a light armor sylvari, I hate it all. Point is, I want more sylvari armor.
Anet needs to allow us to choose our “districts” in GW2 as we could in GW1 and with that, have a district labeled “RP”. Everyone wins some.
It’s not enough though, even for “major changes”.
Ranger sword still sucks, warhorn skill 4 still sucks, torch still sucks, greatsword 4 wasn’t buffed enough (this garbage skill not only roots the player but misses about 89% of the time), pets are still useless sloths in terms of movement and skill activation, shouts are underwhelming, and spirits are utterly useless when untraited.
Engineer med kit was horribly designed, turrets and gadgets remain underwhelming, and skills are clunky and offer poor synergy. They still even steal skills from other professions, and then randomize between them. Why would it ever make sense for a profession to steal skills from other professions?

Why did they ever change rocket turrets toolbelt skill? It used to be a good skill that was useful with static discharge and now it’s clunky, slow and makes no sense in any turret builds.
Not to mention how stupid static discharge functions, everything about engi is clunky and annoying and I think that’s the main reason they’re the least played class. The hardest part about playing an engi is making a build that has any synergy.

Oh my god, the balance team hasn’t made any changes in months and they won’t for a couple more? I don’t know about others but balance changes are actually exciting to me. New builds, new things to try out. How depressing.
Bro… Just apply the damage before the stealth. It’s a simple fix and I’m pretty sure this is how it used to function anyways.
How can I improve it?
Thieves traited with Mug and Hidden Thief are applying the damage after the invisibility is applied causing them to instantly become revealed.
I’ve been running these two traits together for a while and haven’t noticed this being an issue till I recently started playing thief again.
?… Dulfy and the people she presents in her videos don’t get any of the stuff for free. The guy in that video was a lucky player who got the tonic, not an Anet dev with magic powers.
I would like if juggernaut wasn’t such a boring trait. Its all passive. It would be cool if it actually added to the gameplay. Same could be said for hundreds of things in this game, though.
This is odd. Dulfy says it’s can’t be traded after used, which immplies it can be traded. Also, it just now began showing up on the trading post but no ones listed it. Is it that rare or are people using them not knowing it’ll become account bound?
Was this intended?
Most of the time the issue I run into is kill a player and try to cap but can’t even get some health in before another player comes at me. What’s worse is if they have a stupid condi on me and I’m out of removal. I’m basically screwed unless I hide, which is not very fun to have to do.
Even fall damage keeps you in combat for a crazy long time.
I really want condi guardians to become a thing. Guardians can make alot of condi build but all are underwhelming.
Why does it take longer to get out of combat in PvP than it does in PvE and WvW?
Can ranger pets prioritize the ranger please? If there are 5 people closer to my pet than I am even if I’m within the radius, it will prioritize them.
Pet skills in general are very underwhelming. That said 3 sec cast time and 120 radius would make this the most useless pet imaginable.
1.5 sec cast time (and if rangers were half decent – 1/4 sec cast time)
600 radius
4 second stability
45 sec cooldown

So how bout that llama pet with AoE stability?
Necros should have the easiest time vs a Mesmer.
Is rather not hear Brahams whining along the way.
I think a big part of what made GW1 feel so diverse is that they let us create entire team compositions.
That 13% is suppose goes towards radiant retal and burning.
Doesn’t hitting F1 twice accomplish what you’re looking for? It cancels the action of the stolen skill and steals. I don’t get it…
The only decent condi guardians are hybrids and radiant retal is pointless in a hybrid build.
Was it done on purpose…? :/
EDIT: All shields do it. :O
There are two bugs involved here. First is the new Ambrite shield resizes during sheathing and unsheathing on Asura. The second bug and one that’s remained for a while is the backpack moving with any shield when sheathing and unsheathing.
You can fix the bug by getting her killed by mobs. Literally had that bug and fixed it this way today.
Computer Network Issues after playing GW2
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Hammerguard.9834
So is it GW2 then? I still haven’t managed to figure out my issue either. Been using Ethernet for now since problems only with WiFi.
Rangers are the profession, lore-wise, of being dedicated to nature. I believe the idea is that guns are a bit too new and artificial for the nature-magic class.
People always say that but why do Rangers use spearguns underwater instead of tridents?
DISSSSSSSSEEED :P
That’s kinda sucky news. I can’t figure out what’s causing it.
So… yes or no?
Can I ask you guys if you’re connecting via WiFi or Ethernet?
EDIT: I ask because I get horrible connection when using WiFi but normal when using Ethernet. I would also like to know whether others bad connection is consistent or does it go up and down as mine does?
(edited by Hammerguard.9834)
More Info:
I believe it’s just my laptop as there are two others in the house with no WiFi issues, I believe the issue fixes when I use Ethernet, and there are no driver updates for my Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2230.
Is it possible for Guild Wars 2 to be effecting my WiFi connection? Ever since the July 1st patch my WiFi has literally turned to garbage. It fly’s up and down constantly and I lag or get kicked to character select. More rarely I get disconnected from the game completely.
I’m trying to figure out why this is happening and all I know is that it started happening the very second I started playing GW2 after the July 1st patch.
I thought it was working as intended. Skill 1 already sucked and skill 3 sucks now, I don’t get it.
