What’s the point of a poll when nothing will come of it? As if they haven’t known what we wanted for years now.
Leagues are not a very good indicator of skill level. As the season progresses the higher skilled players will move up the divisions leaving only lesser skilled players to fight among themselves to progress. This process will continue for all skill levels in all divisions until pretty much every player hits legend or the season ends. If we were able to identify the skill level of players in a division, as the season progresses, the skill level of that division will continue to drop. If you were to wait a few weeks I garuntee you would be able to hit ruby with ease, this however does not mean you actually got any better at the game. And that’s exactly what’s wrong with leagues at the moment.
tldr – nobody knows what sapphire means – you will be able to get ruby in a few weeks – nobody will know what ruby means.

I want to throw traps again. I don’t know why Anet always insists on taking away fun mechanics in order to balance. As if there wasn’t other ways of doing it.
The tier system is meant to put u where u belong, if ur having close matches and win about 50% of the time thus staying where u are it seems like u reached ur appropriate place
In which theres no point in playing any more, which is counter-intuitive design considering this an MMO, where the whole point is to keep players interested through opportunities for progression.
this system has progress designed into it. it is a race to legendary. the very best players get there fastest, but the walkers can make it too by grinding, because the system is flawed and is nowhere near zero sum.
thus, by waiting for everyone better than you to get ahead of you, you can get easy matches and play catch up later and have your progress and your legendary.
This is exactly how it works. Same as season two. Just as meaningless. Progressing leagues gets easier and easier as the better players move up leaving only worse players to play against.
Overwatch isn’t even out yet and they already have an answer to this kitten.

This is why seeds with 2 condi clear was balanced and 1 clear is terrible. Since laying down a Seed of Life procs a ring that then takes time to trigger you have to weigh the cost of staying inside this ring to get the clear vs taking the damage from staying confined within your own ring. Meanwhile you enemy had to weigh the damage they could put on you while you are in the ring despite you getting the clear or try to forcibly remove you from the ring with some sort of CC before the clear triggers. With Seeds of Life only cleansing 1 condition just throwing out damage at the druid is now the best option, and for the druid you are faced with a really awful choice, keep dying to conditions that you probably won’t even cleanse anymore or try to cleanse them anyway and get condi’d WAY faster than you can cleanse, not even netting a benefit.
This is exactly how it worked. Making a choice of staying in the AoE for the cleanse and heal or leaving cause there was too much pressure. Now the option will always be to leave. The seeds are not worth the wait.
AND NO, ANET. I don’t want seeds to drop down to 1 second until activation. Swallow your pride and give us the old seeds back. When it was meaningful and had counterplay.

Berserkers are hard countering druids at the moment. CC and condi burst were already both druids weakness and now they just made it so much worse. Zerkers do both of those without even trying.
if your talking about the 2 condi clear from using a glyph it never helped me has much has i thought it would since it has a delay you still have the 13 condi clear
I’ve been playing double glyph Druid for months. It was extremely important in staying alive so you had time to build up astral force. Now you literally can’t be seen by a warrior or necro without astral force or your dead. Ontop of that, celestial form 2 is not even worth the cast time like it was preparch. Removing a single condi after a 2 second delay isn’t going to accomplish kitten if all your opponent does is kitten out condis.

8 out of 10 of those game are unranked… where it uses a completely different matchmaking algorithm and MMR means literally nothing.

right, because the 600 range, 10 second cooldown teleport on sword and the 1200 range, 36 second cooldown on judge’s intervention was a different game. What was I thinking.
They have mobility, sustain, and pressure so I don’t get what kind of joke this “dh sux” bandwagon is.
I’m not gonna explain any of it because talking on the forums is just talking to a bunch of bad players but if you’ve actually seen a good dh you should know they’re the opposite of what op wrote.
And no, a good dh doesn’t take dragons maw so 90% of you should just stop talking.

Anets hesitation to balance their game during season 1 did irreversible damage to the games esports image. To this day nothing has changed to make pvp even slightly more intriguing. We’re still stuck in the most depressing map in the game while we queue, Leagues is still a joke and legend is meaningless, still stuck with terrible unranked matchmaking during offseason, and build diversity is non existent. Yeah, they fixed bunker wars but then what.

Ranged auto-attack cripple doesn’t sound broken at all.
So often are people complaining about how unranked forces them to play with/vs bad players but I think the bigger issue is that unranked forces new players to play against experienced players. I don’t know how Anet didn’t think it would be frusturating and deter players from continuing to PvP. Unranked matchmaking is horrible yet you read their response to its dislike in other threads and they seem oblivious as hell.
To make it seem like ranked was rewarding and meant something when we really only played it for a less garbage matchmaking.

I still feel like necro puts out disturbing amounts of AoE condi pressure and boon corrupt which they are unrivaled in. “Rise!” is also one of the most broken utilities in the game giving them ridiculous amounts of survivability from just one skill, so I don’t know why people think they’re so easy to replace. I feel the only thing that will/should change is instead of engi and druid being interchangeable, druid is favored.
Thief could jump in as they are capable of forcing revenants to swap traitlines and farming druids, but idk if it’s worth dropping a necro for.

Why are people acting like MMR actually matters in unranked when there is no limit to the MMR range a team can have? I’ve been playing a lot of unranked to bring up my MMR to see if I would actually stop getting new players with/vs me and it doesn’t help.
It’s the matchmaking algorithm that’s the problem.

Skyhammer – Decent map layout. Skyhammer often feels like something you want to avoid the enemy from getting rather than actually wanting to get yourself. I still don’t like the jump pads but whatever. Maybe prevent chill, cripple, and immob from affecting players while they’re in air from a jump pad cause when chill makes you too slow to land on an upper platform, I want to punch peoples face.
Spirit Watch – The map layout could use a bit more convenience, wider stairs, slightly less verticality. More importantly, running the orb needs to have like that odd thing I rarely see focus on which is FUN. Orbs skills could be so much more interesting. First, the orb should turn the player into a frog. The frog gains a sonic the hedgehog dash ability, maybe a leap, and whatever. Just make it fun.

Evan, I want to play with/vs people I know and are good at the game. Every time I get in a game with people I never seen before I lose all care cause I know it won’t be an interesting or competitive game.
It was always like this… The MMR range in unranked practically has no limit.
I don’t even know why we have to fight with Anet over this. It’s like they like watching their ever dying community suffer every chance they get. It’s not even just the removal of ranked. It’s practically ever decision they make. Its honestly disgusting how much help they need to not kill their own game.
Earlier today I was just thinking about how its relieving getting into a game where you know the developers will deliver in every aspect they set out for the game. Blizzard doesn’t need 90% of their community to come to the forums to tell them how stupid a decision they never made was.
Anet thought the new maps would be a good enough distraction to have ranked removed for a month. On the other hand, why the hell does the unranked matchmaking have to be so terrible? Why can’t it just use the ranked matchmaking but have no effect on “rank”? … Whatever the hell rank even means in this game (which is sad enough in itself).
Complete garbage and not worth a utility slot. Maybe it’s still capable of tricking up some 3 year olds but other than that…

I’m gonna throw some words into this cesspool.
The amount of wrongful legends (as well as diamond and ruby) is honestly no better than season one. Season one allowed good and bad players to climb to legend parallel from each other. At the same time but never facing each other. Like there were multiple divisions within a division for good and bad players. All season two did was create a line using players MMR and basically force players with lower MMR to wait behind players with higher MMR to reach legend before they could do so themselves. By the end of the season, every bad player and their mother should have been able to reach legend. The amount of terrible players I had the displeasure of seeing as a legend x10+ is disturbing. Matches are terribly lopsided 90% of the time because legend is the end of the line. All the garbage that waited their turn to get there are now forced into games with high MMR players. And the worst part of it is that they’re stuck there. They can’t be knocked back down into diamond or ruby… or sapphire like they should be.
They’re a joke.
@Supreme, Stop making up rules for yourself on what is or isn’t OP. Revenant is OP. Any decent player knows it.
If you don’t think revenant is overpowered you have garbage MMR and have never seen a good rev. Simple as that.
They’re infusions which you put on ascended armor/weapons but I guess infusions are disabled in PvP zones. Infusions being disabled in HotM may be intended but the SAB auras not working there seems like an oversight.
Because the SAB auras don’t work in HotM or in PvP matches.
Spirit Watch is a good looking map, they just need to make it funner and balance the orb mechanics. They still never fixed the fact that the orb doesn’t slow movement skills ever since they removed chill and cripple slowing movement skills.
Also, Temple defenitely does not need those pointless buffs back.
There’s enough boring mace skins already…
