So how is this still a thing?
Why doesn’t Bountiful Theft give vigor when you don’t hit with steal like Thrill of the Crime? I understand Endurance Thief says when you successfully hit with steal but Bountiful Theft doesn’t. Is it bugged?
I agree with warhorn needing improvements but defenitely not the overloads. You peeps is crazy.
Backpieces and gliders suffer the same problem. Charr’ve been treated like crap compared to humans since launch. Maybe try the skin on another race ‘cause this isn’t getting fixed.
I bought the AB one and this happened to me too.
They said they were hopefully gonna have info on Monday and – like, Monday finished and stuff.
I can’t believe people can think Druids are so good when they’re so easy to lockdown. Whenever I see one I interrupt the most important and obvious skill to interrupt, celestial 4, and the fights already over. Whenever I play as a Druid the same thing happens. There’s so much CC in this meta a Druid should be considered mid to low tier.
Edit: Regardless of that troll build he posted, what I said stands for all druid builds.

HOW do i see the breakdown of all this individual damage from conditions? Anyone pls?
Click the button while you’re dead.
God – Scrapper, Herald, Dragonhunter
Good – Reaper, Chronomancer
Viable – Tempest, Druid
Troubled – Thief, Warrior, Ranger, Revenant
Chill doesn’t hit as hard as burn. It is a massive problem, however, since necros can apply it so easily and stack cover condis making it hard to cleanse. I expect it to be nerfed at some point.
It’s more about the pugs vs premade than the skill level. Abjured isn’t the only team that’s going to demolish pugs. There’s nothing to take away from matches like these. They aren’t something you can learn from. It’s just slaughter.
Even when you’re in a 1v1 or 2v2 with them inwhich you could learn something, they out-rotate the hell out of your team and end up +1 or 2’ing. You end up with nothing to show for it.

How is this PvP going to live when Leagues come out and there’s still no solo queue? I’ve played a few matches against 5 man abjured premade the other day. It was the most disgusting thing I ever seen. I have a feeling that’s literally all PvP is going to turn into when Leagues come out. Who the hell would sit through that?
I just spent an hour in VB with one other guy unlocking the pit adventure or whatever it’s called. Luckily he was half decent and realized we needed to split up at the end of the Laranthir even chain to complete it.
Why do some adventures take hours to unlock? Then by the time it’s unlocked you have maybe half an hour to actually play it before it locks again.
Because guardians have been out of the meta for so long. Anet felt it was their time to shine and threw them a bone.
Also, everyone was crying about how traps, bow, and even the new virtues weren’t fun so they made them OP as hell. OP is always fun…
I’m still waiting for you to give me a youtube montage of this build of yours, glaphen. I find it hilarious that someone can complain about a build that nobody in their right mind would even run. It’s like complaining about a poison engi because they can stack poison for years. So scawy.
So zero defensive traitlines and longbow………
I’ll be waiting for your youtube montage.
They already nerfed both their daze and base healing. Even dragonhunters have comparable daze to druids in addition to their freak damage.

People just get scared of the high healing numbers and think Druids are impossible to kill. Yeah, they’re capable of good healing but it takes a long time for them to get celestial form, and even then they’re so easy to lockdown. Honestly, Reapers are capable of being tankier and more survivable than any Druid I’ve ever seen.
The problem I think people are having is that they think Druids have celestial form ready 100% of the time when in reality it’s probably only 25% of the time.
My favorite amulet; Gimmie now
1050 Power
1050 Healing
560 Precision
560 Toughness/Vitality
I call it, First Decent Amulet That’s Not Celestials.
(edited by Hammerguard.9834)
Clerics is too defensive and Crusaders is just trash. Where’s my middle ground? Oh right, Celestials. IT’S ALWAYS CELESTIALS.
I myself have already come across two separate VB map completion bugs. Who knows how many other problems there could be right now.
The ele was in starter gear and stood still while not even immob staring at the pet, and the thief was just bad (deselected and heartseekered passed you). Why is this on youtube?
AoE stealth. Get it right.
If you mean pets then no, they haven’t been fixed. Most pet skills are horribly outdated; Copy-pasted from trash PvE mobs and never looked at again. HoT pets were also copy-pasted but HoT PvE mobs aren’t as embarrassing as core Tyria mobs. All pets need a baseline movement speed increase and cast time reduction. I’d argue they should even be able to break movement speed limits when given enough movement speed.
Would like to point out that the elec Wyvern’s static field does nothing as well. No damage, no stuns, just a field to combo through.
The Wyvern’s skill does something beneficial for you and itself in addition to it’s field. The Smokescale’s skill only helps itself in addition to it’s field.
- Fixed a bug that affected map completion.
Guessing this isn’t retroactive?
One of the hero points in VB bugged out and says I don’t have it on the map but when I try to commune again it says I do have it. Unable to get map completion cause of it.
Edit: Pact Airship Wreckage [Hero Challenge] – East of Faren’s Flyer Waypoint.
Update: Today the hero point I was originally talking about was suddenly completed but the hero point at the bottom left of the map then became uncompleted (after now doing it I don’t ever remember having done this one). Now the map and everything says I have everything completed but I also didn’t get map completion reward.
Ancestral Grace placing you in combat was blatantly unintended. I should have a fix in for that to go out… hopefully sometime soon.
Irenio?
10 days later and the title was changed.
Doesn’t seem too off the wall, but achievement point “costs” would likely be radically adjusted to account for the ability to streamline the process. I mean, if the intent is that you don’t end up with a backpack until 40k AP, allowing you to just bank points and buy just the backpack kind of removes the current “tiered” system of acquistion.
They could just make the higher tiered items cost more achievement points. This would in turn make it so the overall achievement points required to acquire everything would rise substantially, but I think it’s a good tradeoff to be able to get what we want first.
As an incentive for Anet, this would also increase the longevity of rewards obtainable by achievement points.
Who ever said anything about tradable? What I’m asking for doesn’t change anything except that we get to choose which rewards we get in the order we want them. If someone wants to they can get a full Radiance set before they ever have to touch Hellfire. It’s not that hard to understand.
IT NEVER BLINDED, PEOPLE.
My perspective is not wrong. It’s different, and it’s better.
There’s nothing wrong with making these achievement rewards something a player can go for rather than stumble upon. It adds more to the game and the assets are already there.
I do like the idea of the wisp being around. Players knew where to go if they needed heals, and it made the Druid’s life easier as the players who probably needed the most healing would already be huddled around you and your wisp.
Or this is how I imagined it would end up working if it had more than 3 days in the game.
. . .
The Bristleback is fine. Causing it’s next 5 attacks to bleed can hardly be called utility or useful for that matter. Might as well leave it as a burst skill especially considering the pets position is important since it has to stand still to use it (and due to a bug must be at the same elevation as it’s target).
I think it should have a one-time blind application at the start. A blind field would be OP imo.
After seeing the new Radiant and Hellfire backpieces which are probably going to be awarded at the 39,000/42,000 achievement point mark I feel like it’s completely hopeless getting these items. Literally another 3 years before I have a chance at one. If achievement points were a currency players wouldn’t feel like the rewards tied to them were so impossible to get. We can choose the items we want in the order we want them.
There’s multiple reasons why this should be swapped back.
1) Control over the stealth.
2) Better timing on pet invulnerability.
3) Prevent combo field overlap.
As oppose to the current F2 which can practically be used to it’s full potential through AI controls (this skill could be on autocast and still be as useful as a player using it), the Smokefield NEEDS player control to be used to it’s full potential.
There is no debating this. It was right before they swapped it.
ps: Smoke Assault doesn’t need another nerf.
Idk why they have instant cast traps instead of traps that gives stability during its cast animation (which still is undeserved). Such a joke. They give you no time to get out of a trap before it goes off.

As annoying as frost aura is, shock aura is broken.
There’s a bug with the F2 making it so the projectiles will miss if the target and pet are on different elevations. Even slightly off and the projectiles go over or under (into the ground).
DH does not sacrifice sustain for their damage. Sick of people saying that. I’ve had enough 1v1s and 2v1s against a DH to know they’re very good at sustaining themselves and drawing out a fight.
Eurantien, strong trait/skill synergy is not really something to use against ancient seeds from working on launch. Anytime someone finds a combination that makes a skill or trait stronger it shouldn’t be in the game because it’s “unhealthy”? No. It’s practically the purpose of designing a build. To make a good synergy between skills and traits.
The immob in mid air, however, is the real concern. And that’s something Anet should be fixing regardless.
Bristleback f2 basically won’t hit anyone unless they are on the same horizontal plane as Spike Barrage has to follow a parabolic path. I couldn’t hit someone in WvW and PvE who were at a lower slope just 1 metre from me
This.
I’m not sure but the Bristleback might also be trying to use F2 while out of range sometimes as well.
I more annoyed by the random radar sound effect they added to it since the beta. It used to be soft and atmospheric. Now it’s just obnoxious.
Sword has such easy damage on it from it’s autoattack to it’s afk skill 3 making revenant very difficult to ignore for even a second. They usually end up stealing priority which in itself makes them strong.
There’s no reason knockbacks wouldn’t be included if all those others are. It’s just another name they forgot to throw into the list.
Or maybe they just consider knockbacks the same as knockdowns since they do technically knockdown at the end of the animation.
