if Im ever accused of spamming, i usually just roll with it and tell them ill just spam more the next time i fight them, and you have to ALWAYS “lol” in /say after you down them , and spam said skill they accused you of spamming on their downed body.

This is the easiest way to induce rage upon someone who feels they must whisper you.

this, when they’re angry they tend to make mistakes more often.

How about rangers using two bows. Guardian using two shields. Eles using two staffs.
Mesmers get as many illusions as Kasmeer. Thiefs stay as op as they are. Necros cast pets like Trahearne. And engineers can shoot with two rifles (which will still fail).

If all that gets included, you can have your copy of a skill of another game, maybe.

I looked up the scaling for Healing Signet, it’s 0.05

That’s is it’s passive AND active.

At 0 Healing Power, it’s passive heals 392 health a second and active is 3275.

At 1,500 Healing Power, it’s passive heals 467 health a second and the active is 3350?!

Is that a bug? The active gets almost no change, you have to completely rely on the passive effect.

Seriosuly, having no defined roles is what made me pick up GW2.

i think the issue here is that when certain players are presented with a challenge, they refuse to evaluate their build/utilities and make proper adjustments. they prefer to just blame the mob/ai/skill/etc

Yup, and it’s even worse for thieves. Running a typical dungeon, I’m using 2 daggers for single target fights, a short bow for AoE/Trash/Blast Finishers, 2 pistols on single target ranged boss fights, and a sword for several other situations such as when mobs have tons of boons (Dredge Fractal), when blind field tanking is ideal (Line of Sight pulls), etc.

you only “need” to have ascended tier for the weapon type you use for boss fights in fractals

because people keep asking for raid-like content, and this update is anet’s answer.

Huh? Scepter air auto-attack is the highest damage auto attack in the entire game, and most others are nothing to scoff at, though nobody can deny how much our cooldowns suck…

But I agree, if a third weapon is added to any class it has to be on a cooldown that in some way prevents a three weapon burst, as that will completely change the game, and not in a good way. It should be to increase play diversity, not power.

Arc Lightning works a little different because it’s a channel skill, but no, there are other stronger like Long Range Shot and Spacial Surge(if at max range), according to some Orb of Wrath is the strongest ranged auto attack.

You should reroll a Mantra Mesmer and try mantra heals. You can maintain your entire party in situations they’d normally die, with AoE heals for 4,000 every 3 seconds.

Restorative Mantras do not work like that. Besides, Mantra Traits are spread over 3 trait lines: Domination XI, Dueling VI, Dueling VII, Inspiration X

Work as a team? Are we playing the same (PvE) game. My teams seem to work like this.

1. Get in group
2. No need to speak to anyone unless someone doesn’t know what to do
3. Wait for cut scenes.
4. Skip what needs to be skipped
5. Kill what needs to be killed.
6. Type in /s “P2 P3?” or “Ty”

Repeat.

There is no teamwork. Those player may as well be DPS bots or NPCs. Nothing I can do will save them nothing they can do will save me. And we are all better off DPSing our faces off and just avoiding damage in the first place.

Or maybe GW2’s system works so well that people take it for granted. Next time an ele drops a water field on you, or a thief places a shadow refuge to res you, or a mesmer/guardian/necro/warrior pulls/fears mobs off you, or many more things.

I don’t miss being in a queue for an hour as a DPS role.

One of the big issues with that is that the weapons (and most likely the armor when it gets released) require a specific Inscription to be crafted.
If you can simply change the stats on the fly people would only ever create the one with the most common t6 material.

you did not read the entire post. in order for an ascended to have a particular stat combination, you would need to own the original weapon with that stat.

it would be something like this.

Berserker ascended GS + Soldier ascended GS = Ascended GS that can swap between Berserker and soldier stats.

So far I’ve trialed wtfast and battleping.

I like wtfast but for some reason, I can’t access their site and they have horrible customer support. BattlePing on the other hand, is not up to my expectations.

Then they should be acquired by playing fractals. Another thing, how many people would go above lvl 50 in fractals? Not many I presume.

The reason not many people attempt 50+ fractals is because of agony and that AR only capped at 45 before the release of ascended weapons. Now that AR is capped at 55, i’m betting that more people will be attempting 50+ pretty soon.

Fractals was introduced to satisfy players who wanted a more challenging content, as Anet put it. (citation needed)

technically, it is possible, but will anet do it? nope.

I haven’t played WoW, but I have played some wow clones. So correct me if i’m wrong, but gear treadmill is something like this no? you get BiS gear, a few months later, new content is added which includes gear with higher stats which would be needed to complete new dungeons(ergo gear check). Now you have to get the new BiS gear, and then a few months later new content is added again, rinse and repeat.

As for GW2’s case it would be a gear treadmill if the difficulty was bumped, fortunately hasn’t been any of the sort. You can still do content on lower tier gear.

inb4 Teq Rising update is a gear check screams. It is a revamp that promotes coordination.

I flip/play AH sometimes, and I’m sitting on 95g, which is not a lot….. but thats over the span of weeks…. 20g in a day, few paths (where paths in gold yield <2.5g) seems a bit unbelievable.

by the time i reached 80lvl i had not more than 7-8g. I was farming all stuff which i saw during my leveling. I do not know from where you got 30g, but only after clockwork farming during 2 weeks i got about 100g.

as the game was new, I just explored everything I could, by level 80 I was around 60% map completion. I also harvested every node I passed by then sold any mats i came across.

I have done now all the heart quests and got 95 014 Karma points. So I am still short of 156 986 karma points to my first decent exotic armor from Orr. So I will get it doing 262 times dailies. This is so frustrating now. I have to run around in rags and shoddy armor at least that 262 days.

Ok, Chinese players will come to the game soon, I know they like grinding games, but this start to feel pathetic.

I can not play this game 24/7 so it means, I will not get my Karma armor in a year. How many players might be in same situation? I bet thousands. So should I be grateful for this disadvantage? I am not, and I will never be grateful. I lost my trust to Anet and their logic.

I don’t see a valid reason to rage that you won’t be able to get exotics now using karma.

there are other ways of obtaining exotics. the every popular cof/se/ac. crafting them yourself, buying off the tp, buying with Badges, and the old fashioned mob drop.

Fist of all, players who have on rags and shoddy armor, don’t get in any dungeon party. So in that way you dont get any badges.

I thought this game supposed to be “fun”. Dungeon is not “fun”, because you don’t get in with any party and you can not do it by yourself.

For crafting, player needs a huge pile of money to get elite armor. And stats are not as good as Karma armor have. And players dont get huge amount of money just playing this game. They have to do those dungeon runs, and…. as I said, those players are out of dungeon parties, who does not have decent armor.

So players don’t have enough money for crafting, they can’t get in the dungeons to earn those precious badges because of rags on them and now they are out of Karma too.

I hate to admit, that all those elitists players ruined this game and Anet start to change this game for those elitists gamers. It is not enjoyable anymore for normal casual players.

only elitists don’t accept non exotic geared members for speed runs of the easier dungeons, a guild run solves that problem. rare gear will do just fine in running the easier dungeons with a non-speed clear group.

money is not an issue, when the game was released, most players had around 30-40 gold by the time they reached 70. By 80, a new player should have enough gold to buy an exotic armor set, if not a complete set. I myself had around 60g selling any craft mats by the time I reached 80 on my first toon.
