This should be helpful.

Earth Elementals have stability.
AH still works fine don’t know why all the QQ, but this is about Meditations.
Most people use Judge’s Intervention, Smite Condition, and Contemplation of Purity. There’s also Merciful Intervention, but it’s iffy at best. Since you don’t know exactly who you are going to go to.
Big thing is you need 30 Valor so you can get Monk’s Focus and Meditation Mastery. The other 40 you can put wherever you like depending on your play style. Gear is the same thing depends on your play style.
So the question is what are you looking for dps, support, bunker, balance, and etc?
New video, had a lot of fun with this one. Just shows how one person can make a difference. Music choice is going to be love it or hate it.
The Tomes are great, just wish they had stability. Don’t see why they can’t just remove protection/retaliation, and add stability. Whatever
Renewed Focus is great. No complains.
Guardian has some of the most powerful elites. Plus you can trait it so Tomes last 30 seconds and Renewed Focus five seconds.
Agree 100%. I was going for the Meteorlogicus, then I saw some videos and was extremely disappointed. So I when for The Anomaly instead.
Much better and takes half the time to get.
Been playing around with this build, and it works surprisingly well.
Using Omnomberry Pie, Sigil of Blood, and x6 runes of Vampirism. Only difference is I don’t go pure Berserker, I feel like you give up too much survivability. My armor and weapons are Knight and Soldier, then all my trinkets are Berserker and Valkyrie. Then I also put 30 into Zeal so I can get heals from using my Greatsword.
Real fun build, works well for aggressive players. More defensive players will have a harder time with it.
So pretty much attack to stay alive!

Mixed T3 heavy with the exotic karma armor. Love it.
This rose has thorns and here they are!

Base on your stats you have a bunker build going, and bunkers aren’t meant to kill people. They are meant to delay and buy time.
You could probably beat some glass cannon build, but other then that you’re not really going to win 1v1.
If you are trying to work around the 1hs. Radiance is the way to go.
Blind Exposure: Applying blind also applies vulnerability (Flashing Blade)
Powerful Blades: Sword and spear damage is increased by 5%.
Right-Hand Strength: Critical-hit chance with one-handed weapons is increased by 15%.
You could probably do a: 0/20/30/20/0 or something similar.
It’s possible to get the best of both worlds with the right gear and traits. I find Knight and Valkyrie to be the best overall when trying to achieve this. These are my stats unbuffed, as you can tell when you start adding food and oil it makes it great. My crit dmg is at 57.
One screen is 30/5/30/0/5 and the other is 0/5/30/30/5.

Yeah, I got the same thing. It’s +2 healing and toughness….
What I’m I supposed to do with this Anet?
Quick change. I know people are worried about condition damage, so to fix that I’ve swapped out Save Yourselves with the Bow of Truth. You also want to replace Greatsword Power or Zealous Blade with Spirit Weapon Mastery. Now you have a 20 second condition remover on a 48 second CD that helps you/everyone, plus can give out heals if you really need it.
The only reason Ferg was even competitive in the first place was because of these two guilds…..
Guess I’ll go somewhere else.
Warrior
Thief
Guardian
Ele
Mesmer
Ranger
Engie
Necro
I enjoy starting at 30, that way I have all my utilities. Plus having somewhat of an idea on how to play the class effectively.
Mesmer hands down. My Mesmer can do everything my Guardian does and more.

Yeah been having problems tonight. It’s fine for about 15-30 mins then I start to lag bad, and then it just kicks me.
Thought it was my internet connection, but it’s fine when I play other games or surf the web/stream videos.
Another slightly modified build, this one is a lot of fun. Takes some getting use to, but it’s powerful. Gives you a range option, and the ability to achieve 25 stacks of vulnerability. Let’s start with traits, 25/10/30/0/5
Zeal:
Binding Jeopardy: Immobilizing a foe also applies vulnerability to them.
Scepter Power or Greatsword Power. This is a personally preference do you want more range or melee damage. You decide.
Radiance:
Blind Exposure: Applying blind also applies vulnerability.
All the other traits stay the same. Weapons will be Greatsword and Scepter/Focus. Also get Superior Sigil of Frailty on your weapons. 30% chance on crit to apply vulnerability. (10 seconds)
Now lets see all the ways you can apply vulnerability:
Leap of Faith
Symbol of Wrath
Chains of Light
Ray of Judgment
Virtue of Justice
30% chance on crit
So as you can tell you can easily get 25 stacks of vulnerability. Plus with the how high your damage is already, enemies just melt.
Why didn’t you just buy it from the tp instead of throwing away 1500g?
No it doesn’t have effects when sheathed. Only when drawn, but I love my Lucky Charms scepter.
Anything over 2000g is overkill, and you are getting ripped.
All the materials would be around ~1000g, and then another 1000g for your time spent.
The reason why I personally don’t like using Monk, it’s a one time thing then it stops. With Altruistic Healing I’m constantly getting heals. Sure they are small, but they add up overtime. People can try Monk if you want, and if you do well with it more power to you.
This build is open to open to interpretation. I just gave you guys a rough outline. You can put whatever crazy combo together that you enjoy playing. That’s why I posted this build is to help people, and see what kind of crazy things you can come up with.
If you are that worried about conditions, just replace one of your shouts with either Smite Condition or Contemplation of Purity. I’d use Smite Condition because you get +3k crits with it.
As for the Sigil of Blood, is the amount you steal based on your healing power or is it a set number?
Props to the POMP ele, atleast I think it was POMP. Pop pirates or something like that lol.
Always fun to have a good 1v1, and also thxs to the other Kains for not ruining the fun.
They’re weapons.
Foefire’s Essence is the greatsword. I don’t know the name for the others.
Can’t edit any thing on these forums! Anyway a slightly modified build.
Since symbols are so beneficial to this build thanks to Zeal lets try to capitalize on it. To achieve this you will have to give up five points in Zeal (sorry Zealous Blade) and the five in Radiance. Both of these will go into Honor for Writ of Exaltation. So it should look like 25/0/30/10/5
Why would I do this you ask? Well 2 out of your 3 weapons have a symbol, and you also get one if your health drops to 25%. They do more damage and vulnerability from them, you also gain healing thanks to Altruistic Healing. So the bigger the better!
One thing I forget to talk about is runes. You can pretty much use whatever you want with this build, but I use, and highly recommend Svanir.
Svanir is probably one of the most over looked runes, and it’s cheap. So what do I get from it? 90 toughness, very nice can’t go wrong there. -30% frozen duration again not bad. 20% frozen duration, ok this is a waste unless you are using the Hammer w/Glacial Heart.
The main reason I use it is; become a block of ice for five seconds when you fall below 20% health. In this game it doesn’t matter how much toughness or vitality you have. There is always someone that can burst you down in a blink of an eye before you can even react. This is a fail-safe to that. When you are a block of ice you can’t move or use anything of your abilities, or it will break the Invulnerability. But you can still use your virtues, and guess what your virtues heal you. When it’s over you can combo into Shelter or Renew Focus, and be right back to full health.
WvW Invader armor, weapons, and accessories is all power/tough/vit. Only problem is if you want a full set it’s +1000 Badges of Honor.
So bit of a grind.
So I’ve been busy trying to get this build more effective then it was and I think succeeded. Couple of changes, but the core element is still the same. All you traits will stay the same 30/5/30/0/5. Let’s talk about the changes.
Vitality was a big issue to a lot of people, and that is understandable, and easy fix. Your weapons and accessories will be Valkyrie (Power, Vita, and crit dmg) and armor will still be Knight.
Damage, some people thought my damage was low. Again fix, now that you have Valkyrie, your crit dmg goes from 30 to ~70.
The best change up is your weapons, the Greatsword will still be your main weapon for damage, but it will be joined by Mace/Shield.
I know you are thinking wtf Mace/Shield for a damage build?! It works well. Skill #2 on your Mace is the Symbol of Faith. Which heals/dmg, since you are 30 Zeal you get increased dmg and vulnerability from it. Now the big game changer; Protector’s Strike. Block and huge AoE damage, I have it crit for +6k before with this build. The Shield is just more for defensive measures.
Sigil of Purity goes out the window for Sigil of Rage. As you can see for the short video, your burst is amazing if your rage is triggered.
This is the best build I can come up with if you want high dmg and survivability.
Quick clip I got. Nothing fancy, and ofc my stats.
I work nights, so when I play it’s going to be late and this is all I see…
Sigh, guess I’ll just work on my Sunrise.
You can get it to 17% if you use the new Snowflakes. Already made a build around it. As you can tell I hit like a paperbag… LOL
(edited by Harbinger.8637)
lmao. I do the same thing.
Bit off-topic, but:
I’ve seen the basic photo on the net of Infinite Light, and it looks great.
My question, though, is, does Infinite Light have any type of graphical effects? Other than the glowing runes on the sword?Well, according to Wiki it leaves some sort of trail of gold dust…if I interpreted it correctly. Perfect Guardian sword if you ask me, possibly moreso than Bolt.
Infinite Light + The Flameseeker Prophecies would be an amazing combo. Love to have it on my Guardian….
I can dream.
This is pretty much just Kain and Ferg….
Rock…
Is this a bug or something? I can’t sell or do anything with it. It just says double click to consume/to gain rock, which doesn’t work.
Well congrats to Devona, I have no hard feeling against any of them. Best of luck in T7. I personally can’t wait to play against Eredon Terrace. Always fun to see new faces.
Without PvE, it would just be huge boring lifeless maps. PvE is awesome in it.
Next we need some dragons!
What’s with all the people Alt+F4ing….
:(
Does the commander ride the dolyak into battle?
Please say yes.
@Reihert
This build is fairly hard to kite. The greatsword alone has a leap and pull. Sword has teleport/blind, and the big one Zealot’s Defense one of the best abilities imo. If you are that worried about kiting just go Focus instead of Torch. You can even switch a shout with Judge’s Intervention.
As for Warriors they are one of the easier professions for me to beat. Half the time I don’t even try to dodge their attacks. I can easily take the burst. I just put Symbol of Wrath down combined with Stand Your Ground, and they will pretty much off themselves.
Outside of group play 1v1, 1v2, etc. I do great, even better actually. 11k hp is not too low. You just have to know your limits, and play to your strengths.
I’ve been busy the last couple of days. I’ll try to get some more vids out.
Quick vid I threw together.
I can’t believe I never saw this before, and I’d like to share this build with you guys.
This build can take and dish out a lot of damage. Yes it does have a weakness, but if you play right you will be unstoppable
Alright lets first talk about weapons; Your weapon of choice will be the Greatsword, this can’t work without it. Secondary will be Sword/Torch. All will have Sigil of Purity you will see why later. As for gear I’m running all Knight (Power/Prec/Toughness)
Traits: 30/5/30/0/5
Yes 30 into Zeal.
Fiery Wrath- Increases damage by 10% against burning foes.
Greatsword Power- Greatsword damage is increased by 5%.
Zealous Blade- Greatsword attacks heal you.
30 Valor
Purity- Lose a condition every 10 seconds.
Retributive Armor- 5% of toughness is given as a bonus to precision.
Altruistic Healing- Applying a boon to allies heals you.
Healing skill is going to be Shelter. I picked this because you gain might when you block attacks. For utilities, all shouts you can pick which ones. Elite is going to be Renew Focus.
Alright time to start piecing things together. Zealous Blade isn’t that great alone, but when you combine it with Altruistic Healing that’s where it shines. You will be getting a ton of heals.
Now comes the big weakness of this build, conditions. To combat it you have Purity, and Sigil of Purity on all your weapons. If that’s not enough, you can switch out a shout for Contemplation of Purity.
This build is a monster in WvW. Let’s you hit hard and still have great survivability. Here’s my current stats, and I’ll be uploading some videos at a later date. Also going more in-depth with it.
I’m just curious if anyone uses a heavy Signet build. Most Guardians use Resolve, and once in awhile I’ll see some with Judgment, but other then those two I don’t see them. Just wondering if anyone had a effective build with them. It just seems like you would give up to much utility.
I remember making my Immobulus for around 50g. Really wish I didn’t soulbound it now…
I don’t think people want to hear “Retreat” and “Save Yourselves” in the middle of fights.
Well that sucks, but that’s life. Hopefully some other guilds rise up and take on the challenge.
Yeah, the Ferg BL was great. Most fun I had in awhile with WvW.
Found my old armor and modified it. 2263 Toughness, could be higher if I got the right runes. If I had Divinity it would easily be over 2300 or if I mixed some Toughness runes. Yes I know my Vitality is pathetic, but it doesn’t really matter.
Perfect Inscriptions and Purity means I lose three conditions every ten seconds, also all my weapons have Sigil of Purity (60% chance on crit to lose a condition). On top of Inscribed Removal. Plus Signet of Judgment w/Perfect Inscriptions is 15% damage reduction.
Also add in Altruistic Healing and it’s really tanky, and it hits fairly hard too.

I actually xfer from Kaineng to Freg the other week. Glad I did. It’s a blast over here, but that’s just me.
