Bunker/Healing, I’d hope you wouldn’t die often.

I know Divinity is expensive, full set is almost 50g. So here’s some alternates for you.

Hoelbrak and Strength- Great way to help further your might build up.

Pack- Power and Prec. Also nice set of boons when hit.

Lyssa- This is probably the second best you can go. One it gives u prec, but the using Renewed Focus with these runes turns it into a Contemplation of Purity. Keep in mind it doesn’t work with tomes.

Melandru- Toughness, -25% stun and conditions

Soldier- Shouts remove two conditions now.

The reason I run so much Vit, is because of WvW. You can never have too much when there’s huge battle with +50 people going on. Ya if you just do PvP or PvE you can get away with a lot less, but for me I do a lot of WvW.

I can notice the difference from 2800 to +3000. You just have to play smarter and not as reckless and you should be fine.

You can use Valkyrie on your GS. I really like Valkyrie, only difference is you will lose crit rate.

Here’s some random gameplay I frapped today of WvW, it’s of Stonemist defense. This was a REALLY frustrating fight for me. They where trying everything to kill me. I was constantly being dazed, pulled, knocked back, stunned, and etc. So it just show smart gameplay like positioning and knowing when to fallback. Nothing too fancy. Also keep in mind this is with my dps set.

I seen something like this before. It was a thief we downed. When we attacked it just said invulnerable. If you tried to finish you did the whole animation, but nothing would happen. Then he teleported into a wall, and ran back inside the tower.

Looks nice doesn’t it.

Who cares this treaty is the dumbest thing I ever heard. Guess who tried to breakout yesterday on FC bl? Oh, ET and the main guild was TAC lol. Then they proceed to get wiped at the lord. After that they tried to take supply camps and got wiped.

If your Red I’m going to kill you plain and simple, and also as SF has pointed out doesn’t really seem to be helping does it.

I’m going to be honest yes SF has more WvW players than us (FC). However we could do a much better job than are doing. FC seems to have become the friday warriors server where we have a decent turn out at reset and then not much after. We also need to talk better with each other. Why fight on 4 maps when we don’t have the numbers?

1) protect our BL
2)choose the next BL to attack and stay there and help backup our BL when needed.
3)Protect and upgrade what we have in the BL we have chosen to attack
4)IF we have enough to start an attack on a 3rd BL decide and go there and stay out of the 4th. Maybe if you want to send 2 or 3 for camp runs that works for the 4th but the rest stay out.

The simple KISS (Keep it simple stupid) works if we work together. When i can go to all 4 BL’s and see maybe 5 to 10 players running around that could be 20 to 40 people in 1 BL is enough to do some damage.

Quit playing WvW just for exp/karma trains. It seems a lot of people just want the exp/karma train rather than upgrade and help protect what we have. Its a lot harder to take something upgraded then paper walls and doors.

Quit only coming out on fridays. Now if you only play this game on fridays when reset happens sure I understand that is the only time you can play but if you play other days than just friday come out to WvW. Also don’t stop coming out because we don’t own much. Start in our BL if it needs help and ask where we are attacking in the next BL (if people would only attack 1 other BL).

Not every legendary needs footsteps…..

Flameseeker Prophecies is one of the better ones in the game, it’s beautiful. Whoever designed it props.

Take my Juggernaut for example. It’s footsteps are terrible, you can barely see them. Might as well remove them. Do I care? No, because the rest of the weapon is amazing.

Ya, that’s Seven Mirror. Easily the best player on the three servers. I want to say Andro was better, but he’s gone.

Omnomberry is kinda meh, just because how slow your hammer attacks are. If you switch out the hammer with sword or scepter then all means go Omnomberry.

After playing around some more Curry Butternut Squash Soup, is probably the best food to use with this build.

This is my dps build I’ve mainly been running huge increase to dmg and still ton of survivability.

They’re doing maintenance on the 13th. So hopefully it fixes this problem. It really is annoying being dc every other minute and random lag spikes.

I run dungeons and fotm with it. Works fine, you always have 4 other people so AH works great. I usually pull all the agro, so you can tank and dps at the same time.

Yeah, I really don’t understand all the boasting going on from SF right now….

PvDoor or fighting against a handful of people. Like what’s there to be proud of?

If you want to just tank then Guardian. Yes Warriors have more hp, but Guards make up for it in boons and better defensive/healing abilities.

Had a really good time tonight on SF bl, nice to see a lot of people come out and play.

Guardian is one of the most balanced professions. Yeah it needs some tweaks here and there, but what class doesn’t?

It’s a great class, and I’m glad it was my first toon.

Took a SF zerg +30 minutes to take a tower from three people.

If all you want is retaliation then this pretty much lets is keep retaliation up 100% of the fight.

Some type of update would be nice, this has been going on for that pass month. It just got worse with the patch. I’ve tried everything, but it doesn’t matter.

It’s effects so many players, and not a single update or anything?!

You can get the guild backpiece. It’s PVT, just with -2 stats. Not much of a difference.

The guy is pure berserker Warrior you can tell by his hp pool. Ofc he’s doing a lot of dmg.

You could probably do this on your Guardian, but your survivability with be next to zero.

Here’s an uncut sPvP match so you can see how it fairs when everyone is on an even playing level, and it’s not so much about gear.

Also kitten on my build without food or oil, so you can see what kind you want to get and such.

Ya, food is a preference. You can use whatever you what! I don’t always use Steak Frittes, it’s just what I use the most.

Soldier armor is Power/Vitality/Toughness.

You can get it from the temples in Orr and invader gear in WvW. Also some dungeons have it.

Might is a boon which increases power and condition damage and can stack in intensity up to 25 times. The effect of might is determined by the following formula:
0.375 * Level + 5 = Power and Condition Damage per stack (e.g. 35 at level 80).
With 25 stacks of might at level 80, the bonus is +875 Power and Condition Damage.

Conditions you don’t really have to worry about for the most part. Since you have Pure of Voice and using all shouts. Yeah I know sometimes they aren’t reliable, but you also have a high health pool to help.

Sure Hitlain

The build relies heavily on crit and AH, just like Brutaly’s.

The reason you mix it is, If you got full Knight you have terrible Vitality, and if you go full Soldier you crit is horrible. You balance it out to get the best of both worlds.

You only need 5 into virtues to get Inspired Virtue. Which is boons when activating your virtues, and ofc you have AH. So it just really another for of healing. If you pop all your virtues at once(try not to do this only for desperate measures lol). It’s pretty much another healing skill.

Shelter is my fav. One it blocks attacks, plus if you have Might of the Protector you gain might for blocks. As you can see in the video at one point I get 19 stacks of might because of this.

Divinity for two reasons. One it adds to all your stats, so you can get a more balanced build, but the better reason is the extra 12% crit dmg.

Note: This build is heavily based on Brutaly’s AH hammer build, so all props go to him.

High damage and survivability is what everyone wants, and that’s what you get with this build! Impossible you say, no very possible. Follow this build and you will feel like a champ.

This build is highly effective in all areas. (PvP, WvW, and PvE) It’s also a blast to play, so go enjoy yourselves.

Ya, the game is getting to the point of being unplayable. Disconnects anywhere between 1 minute to 30 minutes. I’ve tried everything, and even contacted my ISP. This only started happening about a few weeks ago. Never had a problem before then.

So, I was doing fotm on the Colossus level. I get to the part where you go up the ramps, and the explosions can knock you off. I get knocked off, and I just kept falling. Eventually I hit a invisible barrier, and I’m stuck running around in the sky.

I had no way out unless I quit. My party keeps going and finishes, and I can port out at the end.

That’s actually a really good idea.

I generally don’t have a problem with killing people and being killed in jumping puzzles. Anet put player activated traps and such, so it’s obvious they want people to fight. What I don’t like is when people just camp for kills or go to extremes to kill people.

If I’m going along and run into people yeah I’ll fight, but I’m not going to camp it or chase people down.

I crafted Immobulus a while back, when the recipe was first discovered. Only cost me around 40g.

Really wish I didn’t soulbound it now….

Guardian is a blast in WvW. For me the main thing is to be the center of attention. Let everyone focus on you, with the right build you easily survive and still put up huge numbers.

I’m not a fan of Mace/Shield in WvW, there’s really no synergy for it to work well in a huge environment like that. All people have to do is kite, and you’re pretty much screwed. On the other hand it’s great in PvP for holding points.

Mace/Focus is pretty much my favorite 1h combo. You get two blocks that do massive AoE dmg, with the right build ofc. Mace/Torch as works fairly well.

I just use Hydromancy on my Mace. My offhand, Focus, I use a Rub Orb.

I’ll use them because they look cool.

They should change it to something like, “Mace damage is increased 5% Faithful Strike now hits up to three foes.”

That’d be pretty solid, of course, the AoE heal would only proc once.

Mace damage is already at the bottom of the barrel when compared to our other one handed options. I would like to see that 5% increased to 10%.

The Mace is actually a decent weapon with the right build. I’ve got +4k crits with Faithful Strike, and then I’ve hit +7k with Protector’s Strike. Which is really good for a block and AoE dmg.

I use the same build in everything.

Run the greatsword and hammer. I’ll switch out my hammer depending on the situation.

Meteorlogicus is the most elegant and beautiful legendary, sucks that it didn’t get any type of update.

It should get cloud footsteps and have one over your head.

For me it was the Gift of Battle. I can get five right now.

I spent 400k, and got a lot of good stuff.

Karma
2 gold of junk
Tonic

Every time I get Karma I’m just going to get these. lol
