Greetings, my guild Legionnaire of Zor [ZOR] is still brand new and has a few members, but our guild is dungeon concentrated, we run cof and other dungeons every day, and don’t mind what character with what build you bring, its still new but we will be organised skype or teamspeak soon for the chat. I think you’d like to join our guild, our members are all active just the few of us, and I am still desperately recruiting more to join. We are accepting members from any NA server, and that fits you since you are a PvE player where you can simply guest. We sometimes do dungeon marathons and do all paths on dungeons on the weekends, and I think you’d be interested. Greetings! Zorgax and Zorrgax are recruiting members for the guild of Legionnaire of Zor. We do all sorts of things, mostly what our members want because we like to have a happy and enjoyable group. Our guild is new and small but you can help us grow! Influence is earned on Blackgate, or you can spend a couple gold and send our influence into the stars!

- Whatever the members want!

Guild events
- Once a week, we play pick a number from 1-100, eveyone can guess once, type in your number and the closest 3 will be reward of 3g, 1g, 50s.
- On the weekends when most members are online, we start a CoF marathon and do all paths (and story if members want). This can also be done on any dungeons if members want.
- Tonic wars! Whenever we feel like it, we go into HoTM or somewhere and have a battle with our tonics, (We make sure its on cliffs or near portals so its a real war!!!)
- More to come!

Requirements to join
- Be on any North American server
- Help us grow; buy some drinks for the guild about 100 (20 silver) influence a week will be fine (Blackgaters can ignore this)
- Have one of the three: A level 80 character, 1k Achievement points, or decent experience of GW2.

that was one good match, if only SoR stayed at that tier instead of getting 9999999999 transfers..

What WOULD be fair i we could have a say in the matchup. Maybe voting who you want to fight against the 24 hours before reset, then the votes get added and compared and calculated and stuff the last half hour, then the result will turn out good.
For example, CD YB & Kain were 2 awesome matchups, Im sure if they got a say, they could fight each other for as long as they want untill it starts getting uneven.
SoS would have prefered to go up ONE place I am sure, (tier 3) instead of having to fight tarnished coast for ages….

This new matchup is good, but the maximun radius of the moving around is far too much, like CD beat YB and Kain by about a couple thousand, so for a super close win they have to move up SIX spaces, and get pulverised by hardcore tier 2 servers….

Yeah DB “automagically” gained 40 Rating as well I don’t know if it was an ANet bug or a MOS bug but everybody’s Ratings are different than they were at the end of last match.

Looks like they are trying to break free of tier 2 and into tier 1, well we will show them the fun of tier 1!

The so-called dreadful destruction of SoS won’t last forever, soon Ehmry Bay will come up, and Kaineng will come down.

I play a mesmer myself and have spent 600 hours on it, I know lots about it.

UPS
- Only class capable of clones that are identical
- Only class who can Stealth an entire zerg
- Have a good health base
- Capable of a lot of damage
- Only class that can haste multiple people
- Has many sources of Invulnerability
- Best class for laying out Etheral Combo Fields (Can be useful for additional Confusion or Chaos armor)

DOWNS
- Lack of Speed
- Lack of applying conditions other than bleeding/vulnerability/confusion
- Lack of Stability
- Lack of Clones’ effects; doesn’t show off hand weapons, doesn’t dodge roll, doesn’t show food buffs or boosters.
- SO MANY BUGS!!!

The world ranks are good, but siege might and siege bunker, or guard killer or guard defender abilities don’t interest me, a lifetimes effort of 100 ranks or something just to get 5% more damage to guards or more damage dealt with siege honestly isn’t worth it, and i would rather take arrow cart/ballista/cannon mastery.
Supply increasement is a good idea but costs way too many points :/

Best of luck, we fought a lot of battles with you. I hope DB is strong enough to take out SoR, so we can have a good server in first place.

They should make heartseeker cost more initiative since the huge amount of damage it deals + you can spam it heaps of times.

@OP, #4 is impossible since warriors, guardians and engineers can easilly crit above 4k

Bad luck, everyone should have done all borderlands of world completion 6 or 7 months ago when every week was different.

Surely please not, make us wait till June before you fix our highest damage skill.

Thieves damage is a bit high, but they are hard to hit. When you are in stealth its really hard to backstab someone cos they are always moving around, and your initiative burns out real fast.

250 or 500 badges + 5g = ascended gear.
Simple. And yes, I hate fractals.

SUGGESTION:
Would be nice to have Daily WvW, since there is Daily PvP, for example,
4 steps:
1: Guard killer: 5/5
2: Points captured: 3/3
3: Badges of Honor earner: 10/10
4: Lord killer: 1/1

This would make a perfect daily, the reward can be: 1 Laurel, (if haven’t got it from other dailies) + 5 badges of honor + some WXP

I have noticed bulls charge fails, it often misses, you aren’t alone. Dunno about frenzy stomp.

Mesmers got a 50% confusion nerf, that hit us hard as well as the stealth debuff.
We both were badly effected. I do wish they would nerf warrior HB though.

Although the topic is filled with flames, good work to all its a pretty close week, SoR tried very hard to get 2nd place and weren’t far off it, JQ pushed alot as well, but we clearly outnumber them.

You make a thief, invest the time to play it to 80, get him/her good gear, take them into WvW, actually learn how difficult it is to even perform a successful backstab (seriously, it takes practice cause it’s more than a single button press), and then not cry when any Warrior insta-kills you with a hold followed by 100-blades that takes like 14k health (which guess what, is usually well more than your entire 10k-14k average thief health depending on just how glass you are).

Even though I think thieves are a OP in some ways, I hate warrior’s hundred blades, the damage should be HALVED, also they have WAY too many disables.
Lets see, Mace #3, Mace #5, Hammer #4, Hammer #5, Rifle #5, Bulls charge, Stomp, Fear me, and kick…

To SoR: I think its time to kick JQ out of first tier, they have been there too long and so many bandwaggoners have joined them. Lets teach them a lesson, by pushing them under dragonbrand, and finally, we won’t have these forum warriors in the thread.
At least SoR accept losing without sulking on the forums.

Lore-wise:

-Humans, since every class makes sense on a human. They are, as always, the opportunists of the game.
-Charrs. They are the most complete military force, and as such, they need spies and scouts. The Ash Legion fits that role perfectly.
-Sylvari, since they can be considered the nimble/elfish race of GW2. Also, Caithe is a thief.
-Asuras, because of their size and their cunning/intelligent temper.

Norn makes less sense, even if we get to see one during the Vigil personal story. We can even talk to him about his choice of career, showing that Norn Thieves are actually quite rares.

Look-wise:

-Humans : No problems, one of their cultural set is just made for them.
-Most of the Charr players will agree, it’s hard to get a good looking medium Charr, especialy if you are not into the trenchcoat/scoundrel style. The duelist can be interesting.
-Sylvari : Looking just fines, especially with a mix of the Cultural / Twilight Arbor.
-Asura : Most medium armors will look fine on Asura, and I personnally have a big crush for the Whisper one on them. (Agent Batanga <3)

I do agree, backstab and steal should be unblockable, cos they are instant suprise attacks.

6k C&D, 9k backstab and 7k heartseeker to a 1.9k toughness ele/mesmer (been the victim to it as a ele/mesmer)
Those are the top 3 OP skills of thief, and STILL haven’t been nerfed, what are u on about buddy, and more, in SPvP, i did some 8.5k heartseekers with my thief….

Hmm, thieves are overpowered in different ways:

1. Stealth finisher, what’s the point of having downed skills if you can’t use them?
2. Heartseeker, the damage on this is so overpowered, as of it can be used up to 5 times when at full initiative. How to kill someone as a Heartseeker spammer: 3k, 3k, 3k, 5k, 8k, -dead- if they are bunker, they will be less than 30% health.
3. Cloak and Dagger, let’s see; up to 7k damage, stacks vulnerability, AND stealths you! wtf?

Betting 1 million bucks a thief player will quote me and say something similar to: L2P

Yeah, I have been getting this. You have to stand on the wall properly when using the arrow cart, never use one while floating in the air.

@ All those above who doesn’t read the OP’s information: HE WANTS A LOW TIER SERVER.
They don’t want FA, they don’t want JQ, they don’t want KN.
I’d say anything under SBI is good for your guild to transfer to, ignore these people who want you to come to the high tier servers, your guild doesn’t want to go there. Send a few people on CD, SBI and EB, all are different timezone servers and are in the middle, and need a boost where they are at.

Have 3 or 5 golems limitted per map, and 50 people limitted in a map.

mug was OP before 10 pts in a tree to give you the ability to deal 6k or something damage instantly every 45 seconds… I think they nerfed it for a reason.

To my opinion, even though I play a thief, the skills steal gives you is a little overpowered.
Necro: Fear
Ele: 10s chill… wtf?
Mesmer: Every boon for 10s… wtf?
Warrior: Axe whirl
Guardian: 3 or 4 second daze
The rest are fine, but the skills from ele and mes are way too OP…

I have been on blackgate for a month guildless. When I found out my favourite guild from crystal desert a long time ago also came, I decided to join them. We have never done this good before, usually we are just above SoR.

Yes this is a problem to me as well, #2 downed state never fools anyone in tier 1 unless if its SoR, because they know the first clone is a decoy and its obvious.

Make it the clones appear at the same time, or the decoy appears 2 seconds later as well.

I agree my fellow mesmer guildmate, with those traits working fine and if confusion and retaliation wasn’t nerfed, that would be great as phantasms have some thorns, so enemys cant crush them with a couple swings.
It seems pointless now since its not fixed still, and the retaliation and confusion is ruined too.
