Repair Instructions for Mac:
Click on the “Finder” icon located in your Dock or the desktop of your computer to make “Finder” the active program in the Finder menu bar.
Click on “Go” in the Finder menu bar. A dropdown will appear.
Click on “Utilities.”
Once in the “Utilities” folder click Terminal.app.
Copy and paste the following line into the terminal and click “Enter”:
/applications/guild\ wars\ 2.app/contents/MacOS/cider —use-dos-cwd C:Gw2 -- C:\\GW2\\GW2.exe –repair
You can try clearing the GW2 cache. Instructions found in the Knowledge Base accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Search – Troubleshoot Trading Post’.

I haven’t had any crashes today, and I’ve been on several hours.
Thus, it’s not everyone that experiences a problem with the client.
There’s not much the Devs can do about DDoS attacks on backbones. You could always try a VPN, and see if that helps.

So far, the items specific to the Black Lion Chests have not returned. Festival items may, or may not.
We would probably have to wait a year or two to determine if items are offered again.
If you truly want the item, you would probably be better served to try to get it while it is available.

I’m still exploring the new map but I think it needs more than one waypoint.
You can buy more Waypoints with map currency. I like that feature.
I’ve enjoyed the parts of the new map I’ve explored. I’ve only done the story up until entering the map, so far. The doppelganger had me stumped, but, of course, the forums came through. I’ve also enjoyed the story, so far.

If you mean the email authentication, the game (and forum) remembers a range of IP addresses and will stop sending the email for remembered addresses.
You can go into ‘My Account – Security’ and turn off remember IP addresses, if you want the mail sent again.

I prefer Karma boosters, because I have far more uses for karma. Despite having spent 2000 spirit shards to unlock all the antique weapon skins, my surplus was higher afterward than when I started (and that was without unlocking raid masteries). Whereas, I spend karma like crazy and can’t seem to maintain it as well.
How would I spend spirit shards to get those skins? (Feel free to start another thread if you think it would derail this one.)

Feedback threads that are a loose form of polls.

Some of these polls had in-game mail notifications; some had email notifications to account addresses.

Achievements for Living World Episodes were changed to achievable during the first run-through because many lamented having to play the episodes/chapters more than once. There may be less desire to repeat episodes/chapters than one might think.
Well, like I stated, perhaps the Devs saw your (and others’) suggestions back then, and have implemented them in upcoming releases, be they expansion or Living Story.

You can try updating your RivaTuner, and test it periodically. Seems to be an issue with Win10 and third-party programs (especially graphic card ones).

I’m going to see if i can return it.Good luck with that… I submitted a ticket requesting a refund three days ago, and so far have got zero response.
Assuming you got the automated receipt that you submitted a ticket, it can take three business days before you get an initial response. During peak periods, it takes longer; this is probably a peak period.
The CS Team works 24/7/365, so usually tickets are answered within 72 hours, no matter the day of the week.
It does seem they may be running a bit behind recently, though.
You can try updating your ticket; also make sure to check the spam/junk folders.

I looked at an account that doesn’t own HoT, and the page was locked.
I looked at an account that does own HoT, and the tool-tips just give information about each Mastery tier.

I don’t see any Masterwork or Fine Boosters in your inventory. It does not work on Rare-quality Boosters (which are the newer Boosters).

There may have been more bots in Guild Wars 2 near launch than there are today. They were everywhere. I’m not sure what purchasing has to do with it.
Regardless, perhaps, one day, the Devs will devise a way to raise the limit as well as combat bots and bypass any technical limitations.

For unbound magic you’re best bet is Bitterfrost. The high drop rate of berries with the high yield from consumption is the best way to get large quantities of this. If you’re just looking for salvage bonuses then dungeons, raids, and fractals are you’re best bet as they yield a higher quantity of rarer quality items.
