Not only that, but most of those issues (and responses) no longer even apply. If you have an issue with your account, contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link. You should receive the automated response almost immediately, and a personal response within a few hours to a few days.
Good luck.
You can contact the Billing CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.

Slight edit: Exotic (orange) and Ascended (pink). It’s Legendary that is (purple), and not necessary (just optional), especially for a new L80.
Good luck.
Have you used tools to determine the cause of you disconnecting? Because it is not playerbase-wide. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve been disconnected in the past 5 years.
It’s best to use something like ping-plotter and show the results to the Tech CS Team via a Support Ticket; then they may assist you.
Good luck.
I’m wondering how one determines the elaborately, well-dressed players partake of Fractals.
Does a survey?
Hangs out in the Fractal Lobby, so has a select-only playerbase to observe?
Considers players with the Fractal Backpack well-dressed?
What?
Just curious.

Well, I guess those players that do the ‘Dailies’ that include the Renown Hearts in those newer maps are at an advantage, then. Now they are rewarded with more than the Daily Chest; they are working toward another reward.
As before, if one finds it too ‘boring’, one does not need to complete the ‘quest’ in 16 days. Spend a year doing a Renown Heart 16 times. Spend 2 years. I’m sure I’ve done some of the Renown Hearts in this game more than 16 times with all my characters. Even just with one character. There’s no inherent rush, other than impatience.
I will probably finish this ‘quest’ with my guildie. He only plays on Fridays and Saturdays for a couple of hours. Thus, it will take us many months to complete. No biggie.
Good luck.
The reason(s) are all those posted when it was first announced there would be the opportunity to join multiple guilds.
One of those reasons is some feel it waters down guilds; less opportunity to be ‘loyal’, etc. There’s always a reason to feel some particular feature of the game is unsuitable for someone.
What would be your idea to keep players in a particular map for a couple of weeks without repeating content?
repeating content =/= achievements telling you to do 64 x the same starter area hearts.
HoT maps managed to keep players busy completely without heart quests. There’s no way that these types of achievements are the only possibility to keep the players in the map. Just think of Silverwastes, people played this map for a long time just because the meta-event was fun and rewarding. If they have problems to keep people playing in the new maps they didn’t plan the current season properly. No one told them to design tons of generic maps that have almost no other purpose than farming blood rubys, petrified wood, jade shards, winterberries and druid runestones.
I am unsure; is your idea a copy of launch Heart of Thorns maps? I thought players weren’t happy with the original Heart of Thorns maps; at least, there were a lot of threads full of laments regarding those maps.
I don’t know, maybe the Devs tried to come up with something different than those maps to try to placate the playerbase. /shrug
Regardless, no matter what the Devs do, someone won’t be pleased.
Did you wait 24 hours between gatherings? Did you take a different character into the maps to gather? Did you hit the Daily cap on gathering the materials?
At least there’s guaranteed progression. Could be RNG like some certain Spoons that can take forever to drop.
What would be your idea to keep players in a particular map for a couple of weeks without repeating content?
One thought: Don’t try to attain the backpack in just 16 days. Spread it out over 2 or 3 months so it does not seem quite so repetitive.
Pro-tip: Never try key-running.
Good luck.
It’s called Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns now. Let’s be factual.
I, too, was sure ArenaNet said that this forum was the first official ArenaNet forum. There was an official Support site for Guild Wars, but I don’t think there was an official forum.
Here’s what the Wiki has to say about player feedback:
ArenaNet uses the wiki to give users a possibility to get into contact with the developers regarding various issues:
https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/ArenaNet#Player_feedback
I think if there were any official ArenaNet forums, they would be listed there.
Does the crash report window appear? If so, click ‘Show Details’ and post the first part here in your thread.
Good luck.
It’s a bug that only happens once in a blue moon to a character. It’s not specific to Sylvari. It usually clears itself up in a short time, but you can always try a -repair of the client, if it persists.
Good luck.
^You will have to either do one or the other of the following: Ancient Magics is unlocked after entering Bloodstone Fen during the story of Out of the Shadows, or after entering Ember Bay during the story of Rising Flames.
It should not take long to acquire the necessary Gold amount to convert to 200 Gems.
Good luck.

You can also acquire Hero Points in WvW with Notarized Scrolls of Heroics and/or Notarized Scrolls of Maguuma Heroics.
Good luck.
Welcome to the official Guild Wars 2 Wiki, the comprehensive reference written and maintained by the players. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Main_Page
I’m afraid the English, French and Spanish players would likely have a hard time creating and maintaining a Chinese Wiki. You will need to appeal to your own community.
Good luck.
Yeah, that’s one specific instance, but for using it to travel to an event or something….not so much.
Unless, I guess, you have a handy Rift open/to open (unlikely), and have memorized all the coordinates for the different maps/areas.
Here’s a guide: http://dulfy.net/2015/10/24/gw2-heart-of-thorns-act-i-story-achievements-guide/#Prisoners_of_the_Dragon
Good luck.
Speedtest doesn’t tell you anything about connecting to an ArenaNet server, just so you know.
That said, it can take awhile to download the game, and/or patches. It can depend on the file, the time, the amount of players downloading, etc. Your ISP may be throttling your download speed; you can speak to them, as well.
You can just leave it, or start it, and stop it; it will pick up where it left off if you stop the download.
If you continue to have issue, you can contact the Tech CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Welcome to Tyria, and good luck.
Ask your guild members.
Also, you can edit your posts, and add attachments by using the ‘More posting & formatting options….’
Good luck.
You would need to post on the Chinese forums, as your publisher, Kongzhong, or something handles your game’s chinese implementation, not ArenaNet. Your community would have to create a Wiki, again not something ArenaNet does.
Good luck.
As for the ‘bug’ with the NPCs in the Labyrinth, that was not so much a bug, as a deliberate change with NPCs in all instances. If you knew the history of it, you’d know it wasn’t 33 months, as there wasn’t an issue before the change.
Also, one is never going to be able to create a map that can be tested for every single possible terrain issue before its release, unless you want to wait for 10, 20, 30 years for new content.
Bugs might be best reported in-game, and lacking that, in the Bugs sub-forum. There’s even a Sticky about being ‘Stuck in the map…’.
Good luck.
There aren’t any videos for AMAs. An AMA is a thread on Reddit where the developers state ‘Ask Me Anything’ about a certain topic.
I’m sure if you Google GW2 Reddit AMA you will find a link to the latest one.
Good luck.
I did read the entire post. I think they both look unappealing, thus I don’t really have an opinion on which looks more ‘Legendary’. I’m sure some of the playerbase prefers A, some prefers B, and the rest, like me, prefer neither.
Plus, the screenshots are of poor quality, so it’s not easy to make a determination, even if one was inclined to.
Good luck.
No, they do count as Daily Map events; or, unless recently changed, they did. I would certainly never use a Rift Stabilizer to travel to a map. That would take much longer.
If you are looking for videos of Guild Chat, you can find them on the Twitch Channel and on YouTube.
Though, you would not find AMAs there; those are on Reddit, and often a summary on Dulfy and other sites.
Good luck.
^I’m confused (must be old age). What’s the difference between “non-craftable” and “can’t be crafted”?
Sorry, I’m not much into builds and such.
Try a -repair of the client? Maybe there is a corrupted file or file space. Try a new local.dat? Ask the CS Team for assistance?
Good luck.
Which one do you like best? That’s all that matters, not what someone else may think.
Good luck.
Did you check your Streaming Option, in case it was ‘On Demand’ instead of ‘Max’?
Just a thought. Good luck.
What has Skill Descriptions and whether one uses certain skills have to do with support of the game? Seems like a weird tangent to go off on.
Regardless, good luck on your suggestion (not a bug).
I believe the Devs may have addressed this in the latest AMA.
Good luck.
No, thank you, to Open World PvP.
There’s always the Combat Log.
I’m not sure what ‘Destroyed’ is referring to, myself. Perhaps, I use no Skills with that in the description, I’m not sure.

It’s not just certain browsers that don’t like the extra variable. It’s certain users of said browsers. Most users don’t seem to have issue with the redirect/certificate, but a select few do.
It’s very odd.
Making a free 2nd account to link with GW1
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Inculpatus cedo.9234
The OP stated they had five Guild Wars (One) accounts, and was thinking of linking a new GW2 account to one of their secondary GW1 accounts.
Once linked, the GW1 account will change its log-in information to that of the GW2 account it is linked to. Players in the past had difficulty using the old GW1 email address when creating a new GW2 account, as the address would cause an error: ‘Email Address already in Use’. If that has changed, I am unaware.
Good luck.
I just get the Stabilizer on as many characters as I play relatively often, as the Stabilizer is great for Daily Map events.
Otherwise, I doubt it makes a difference. (It’s probably account-wide, as far as story goes, like the other Current Events.)
Rather than 14th century Europe plus 250 years, it may be more like an advanced civilization integrating with a less-advanced one, and the results 250 years later. Think Native Americans and the Europeans that settled in the Americas. Quite the influence, I believe.
The Asura weren’t around in Prophesies, Factions, Nightfall, but after being chased to the surface in EotN, and then influencing the above-ground population, the result, 250 years later, is what we see now.
I like the Guild Wars universe…then and now.
Good luck.
Didn’t we used to have ‘Leaders’ in instances, and the forums were full of laments about 1 person having too much power? I don’t remember, but there was some reason that mechanic was changed.
Marks might be feasible, I don’t know.
It is unlikely this thread will be singled out for special ‘Dev attention’, but…
Good luck.

You can say it in 15 characters by adding spaces after the period, should you so desire.
OT: Yes, it includes every Mastery line that shows either Red Mastery Points or Green Mastery Points.
We may get a new set with the next expansion, though, for a total of 3 distinct groupings.
Good luck.
Maybe it’s visiting the Dolyak Express. Sigh.
I believe there is a limit on how many Gems one can purchase in a short amount of time.

If you write ‘and I am not likely…’, you should not come up against the filter. (The filter does not like the word d*a*m* space n)
Did you check out the video to ascertain if that was the ‘purple dragon’?
This has been the mechanic since Guild Wars (One) days. It’s a suggestion that comes up, but has not been implemented. Whether due to technical reasons, or something else, is unknown. (I imagine having to create so many different ‘hats’ [one for each hairstyle] is resource-intensive.)
Good luck.
You have likely hit the Daily (and retired Monthly) AP cap. If, when you mouse-over your total Daily and Monthly totals, and they add up to 15,000 APs, you have reached the cap.
There’s still the 2 Gold, plus Daily rewards, if you are interested.
Good luck.
