1) You could, if available, post the first part of the GW2 Crash Report details here.
2) You can contact the Tech CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
3) Turn off any graphics card apps and any third party apps for GW2.
Good luck.
Elsewhere in the Wiki it states one enters Bloodstone Fen to unlock the track. Thus, I’m not sure the Wiki can always be what determines bugs. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Heart_of_Maguuma_mastery_tracks#Ancient_Magics
Regardless, a support ticket may answer the question.
Good luck.
If there were/will be Dev responses, they would likely be found in the QoL Suggestions Sticky Thread above.
Good luck.
That thread has been locked for months.
Maybe you are confusing the ‘I posted in this thread’ icon with the ‘Thread locked’ icon. I’m not sure.
Also, you can add/edit to a post by using the little pencil icon (if you were not aware).
Good luck.
I’ve not found the Content/Event Guide shows me events unless I am somewhat close to them, anyway.
Still, it might be something the Devs would consider with the new repeatable Renown Hearts mechanic.
There’s always overlays or such from sites like GW2Timer (or whatever it’s called), etc.
Good luck.
Yes, I stated that a few times. =)
As stated above, I don’t believe you can find Season 3 Episodes in the Gem Store; only for purchase via the Story Journal.
In other words, should someone open the Gem Store searching for the Season 3 Episodes to purchase, they would not find them there; only in the Story Journal.
I suppose it did take more than an hour to find all those mementos, build signposts, light campfires and help the wounded.
Of course, for some, it takes more than an hour to find the Oakhearts (or whatever they are called). /shrug
I’m not sure one can find Season 3 Episodes in the Gem Store, but they are available for purchase via the Story Journal. Season 3 Episodes should appear in the Gem Store once the season is complete, as a bundle (and perhaps, at a discount much like the Season 2 bundle). Season 2 Episodes (as a bundle) can be found in the Gem Store (price will reflect any already-unlocked Episodes).
Good luck.
If there were/will be Dev responses, they would likely be found in the QoL Suggestions Sticky Thread above.
Good luck.
There were 3 opportunities to “beta” test HoT over a course of 3-4 months. The first opportunity was a four hour window, and was sent to the most active players at the time, of which I was one. Then there was the RNG item that was fell most often in Silverwastes. Lastly close to drop date of HoT was preview weekend. I do not know what Anet plans to do this time.
I don’t remember any ‘4-hour window and sent to active players’, but there was a random drawing from those subscribed to the Newsletter, in addition to pre-purchase, and the RNG-drop.
Although, there is no mention (yet) of the cap on the Achievement (Points) page, there is mention of the cap on the Dailies page in the Wiki.
I mention this because the Wiki is often a great resource for all things Guild Wars 2.
Good luck. =)
Since there was the modifier ‘in Dec & Jan’, I, personally, thought the statement was referring to the year-end vacation-time ArenaNet usually announces.
But, that was just me. Glad it was cleared up. =)
If, when you add your retired Monthly Achievement points and your Daily Achievement points, the total is 15,000, you have reached the Daily (plus Monthly) Achievement Point cap. You can find the total for each by mousing over the APs at the top of the Achievement Point page accessed via the Hero Panel.
Good luck.

No problems whatsoever. Have you tried ‘pingplotter’ or such?
Good luck.
I would hope that Anet is capable of producing an expansion better than HoT. If not, that does not bode well for the future of the game.
I remember that Mike O’Brien made a point to assure the gw2 community that they had learned from the mistakes of HoT. I don’t remember the core game ever needing that kind of caveat.
Unfortunately, Mike did not specify WHICH mistakes.
I listed some of the lessons ANet needed to learn — and correct. I’m sure there are others.
To convince me to buy earlier than I posted above, they’re going to have to publicly state what those lessons were, and what they’re doing to correct them. Vague promises and vague references to “mistakes” aren’t going to cut it, for me.
Are you both sure Mike O’Brien made that statement? It wasn’t a statement from one of the NCSoft Quarterly Financial Statements meetings?
FYI: Moderators don’t usually have answers or ‘fixes’ to technical questions, or other questions about the game. That would be the Devs or the QA Team. If you have an issue with moderation, you can send an email to forums@arena.net
For an individualized response to your game issue, you can contact the Tech CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Good luck.
We won’t know any particulars until the announcements start some time after Episode 6.
Good luck.
You can try it any time there is a patch, as that will reset the map.
Good luck.
You can contact the Billing CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Good luck.
Map Event rewards are awarded approximately every 2nd event/JP/etc. There is a weekly cap, as well. You can check the Wiki for each map’s rewards. There is a chance to receive multiples of the rewards, but it’s random, and somewhat unusual to receive more than 1 of each item reward.
Edit: After consulting the Wiki, I found this: Every 20th reward gives ten times as many of the current item. I, personally, was not aware of this fact. So, there you go! =)
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Map_bonus_reward
Good luck.

Well, there’s usually only one way to enter a Story instance; I tried to short-cut it, as well, with similar results. =P
Glad it worked out for you. =)
The chapter begins in Rata Sum, I believe. Check your World Map for a green star there.
Good luck.
Have you completed the Glider Mastery track? Especially the ‘Advanced Gliding’ line? With ‘Advanced Gliding’, one can glide as long as one is airborne.
Good luck.
The supply probably comes from the stacks and stacks many of us have from Season 1 in the bank. I know I have sooo many of those Potions.
Not likely to happen soon per the Dev statement in yesterday’s AMA due to technical/resource limitations.
Good luck.
If the Devs removed everything some sub-set of players had no time, resources or knowledge to do, there would likely be little game to play.
Just yesterday, the Game Director stated that one of the visions of the game/studio is to offer different types of gameplay for players.
Probably not a suggestion that will bear fruit, sorry.
Good luck.
We have not been told when the next expansion is coming. So waiting is all up to the individual.
Actually, we have been told…in the latest AMA:
Episode 5 – today
Episode 6 – 2 to 3 months from today
Expansion 2 – 2 to 3 months from Episode 6 (with a bit of wiggle room)
Living World Season 4 Episode 1 – 2 to 3 months from Expansion 2 launch (again with some wiggle room)
Good luck.
Why would someone pay $35-50 today when ArenaNet offers it for less? Seems rather odd.
FYI: There is an official response to this in the latest AMA.
Good luck.

It’s a bug that only some people encounter when using the Forum ‘Support’ link. You can use the ‘Support’ link from any other guildwars2.com site page to bypass the ‘bug’, such as Releases, Community, Media, Wiki, etc.
Good luck.
Geez, who pays ~25% tax in the US? Glad my state charges nothing.

For some odd reason, it shows that Guild Wars has not been purchased on the ‘My Account’ page for many players. Even though, everything else indicates it has been purchased; it is linkable, HoM rewards are present, etc., etc.
You should be able to download it elsewhere, if not on that site page, and play regardless.
If you continue to have issue, you can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Good luck.
Here’s a thought for the dungeon issue: Mail 2 potions/whatever to the first person, and have them mail the extra to the third person.
Good luck.
Gotcha. Thanks for the info.
Have you tried a -repair of the client? Tried taking the skins out and equipping to see if they unlock? Contacted the CS Team?
You may just have a corrupted file(s), since it does not seem to be widespread (yet).
Good luck.
Don’t we already see both highest buy and lowest sell offers? I’m pretty sure my Sell tab shows that. Maybe, I’m confused…
Good luck.
Is it ArenaNet that sets the currency exchange rates, or DRI?
Or, in many cases in the US, we are not charged any tax, at all.
As well as any Living World Episodes you may have missed. Unless, you mean you purchased the game during Heart of Thorns beta weekends. If you purchased the game more than 4 years ago, you would need to buy HoT. If you only purchased less than 2 years ago, you are good to go.
Good luck.

We will likely find out in about 8 hours.
Good luck.
@Hazy: The Personal Story (Core Tyria) awards 8 Mastery Points, one for each arc (L10, L20, L30, etc. thru L80) per account.
You can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Good luck.
You might try the PvP sub-forum.
Good luck.
Be aware, most veteran players completed the Core Personal Story before Masteries were implemented, so that would not affect the Mastery Points achieved. They were awarded retro-actively.
Perhaps, some screenshots showing your Core Tyria Mastery UI and your Story Journal UI would be helpful.
Good luck.
You will get the sub-set. Everyone that is capped is capped at exactly 15,000 APs.

You can purchase a copy of Heart of Thorns with your credit card, and when you are sent the Serial Key, pass that onto your grandson. When he creates his account using the Serial Key, he will enter his email information that will be associated with his game account. It matters not who purchased the Serial Key, only who creates the account. If he should ever need purchase information, you can provide it to him at that time.
If you should want an official response, you can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below.
Good luck.
Really! Perhaps, something changed. I’ve always read that one was not allowed to choose.
Thanks for the update. =)
Any ‘leaks’ I’ve seen have not been substantiated. I’ve not even heard of this ‘Gem Store skin’ leak before. The only one that seemed possibly viable was the screenshot of Amnoon Oasis, and that certainly showed no mounts with Gem Store skins.
I would not put much stock in rumors; or even data-mined content. Features may be tried, and discarded, just as much as they might eventually be included.
Good luck.
FYI…^One can not choose the server with a Play4Free account, which may be why those accounts get a free transfer when upgrading to paid.
@OP: Don’t forget about Server linking in WvW. Your worlds may be linked, and you may be able to play with your friend, (if in the same region).
Good luck.
You are assuming this is a bug, rather than working as intended.
If you so desire, you can use Google to find the Dev response addressing this issue.
Good luck.
