Can you post a screenshot of the recipe and what it says when you mouse-over it?
There is no such item listed in the Wiki, as you probably know, having asked about it there.
Good luck.
Edit: I don’t find it on the Trading Post, either. Just the Inscription, itself. Perhaps, that is what you purchased (for approximately 4 Gold – the recipe would likely be much, much more than 4 Gold).
Since Sentinel items are from the Molten Facility, they are pretty rare and expensive.

5 day old ticket, Tickets for Review thread?
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Inculpatus cedo.9234
Yes, I’m not sure why the Sticky, ‘Tickets for Review’ was removed. Maybe, it was because there were hardly any posts to it in the past few months. Which is good, it means the CS Team is mostly on top of things.
You can always update your ticket and ask if there is a problem.
Good luck.
My suggestion would be to park that character and create a new character and level up naturally. You won’t miss all the tutorial messages and rewards from each level-up that way.
The Wiki is a great resource for all things Guild Wars 2, and can be accessed via the link above, or in-game by typing Wiki (topic of choice) in the chat box.
Welcome to Tyria, and good luck.

Aurillium? Or, maybe that’s just the one node. But, still….
I don’t think there are any new cats to be found. Just M.O.X. (the Golem from GW1) can now be found in the Home Instance speaking about cats.

I see nothing in your attachment. You can remove attachments by editing your post (with the little pencil option).

Did you contact the Tech CS Team via the ‘Support’ link and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance? No need to wait so long for expert help.
Also, there’s a Sticky above regarding crashing during patching.
Good luck.
Unless/until the policy is changed (it was instituted due to player feedback), Armor sets will be available from in-game content, and Outfits from the Gem Store (with a very few exceptions).
Good luck.

There may be 3 Specialization slots, but there is only one Elite Specialization slot.
Do remember; although there were many, many choices (skill-wise) in Guild Wars, it made for a balancing nightmare, and, truly, only a few optimal builds per Profession.
It seems the playerbase would prefer, at least according to posts on the forum and elsewhere, that balancing have less detrimental and/or time-consuming factors, rather than more.
I have not gotten my Daily Achievements for 2 weeks now
Have you reached the AP cap, as explained above?
You can contact the Billing CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Good luck.
^Aren’t those red?
When setting up Guild Chat, make sure to tick the Guilds you wish to chat with in the drop-down menu accessed to the right of ‘Guild’ in the Chat options. I noticed in the video, the player checked Guild, but did not open the drop-down menu to the right and check his/her Guild.
Also, make sure your character is not playing in ‘Invisible’ mode.
Good luck.
^Looks like a Level 3 (Tier 1 backbone) issue. You can ask your ISP to contact Level 3, and you can show that to the Tech CS Team and ask them to contact Level 3. Both ends use a (in your case, Level 3) backbone provider.
Good luck.
The Devs might know. I doubt anyone else does, unless the Devs have stated when the next balance patch is expected (I’ve not seen said announcement). I would not expect it to be any sooner than 2-3 months with the release of Episode 6, or maybe 2-4 months or so after that, with the expansion.
Of course, I could be (and am often are) totally wrong. =)
Good luck.
Yet, you said you knew about the disclaimer, and still thought it would not apply? Seems odd.
As for upgrading your other account to HoT, if it is a paid account, it will not have the restrictions (other than the 72-hour wait for the Gems included in the Ultimate edition).
I doubt there will be a policy change due to posting on the forums (I certainly hope not), but still…
Good luck.
Edit: It’s a DRI policy, likely, not to mention bank/cc processing policies. If DRI says they won’t release the funds for 3 days, there is little else to be done. Again, a small price to pay to not be overrun by those of a nefarious nature in-game.
This is a response from cs about upgrading accounts so I know I wont be upgrading 2nd account now
Whenever a player purchases a new account or upgrades their current account, any of the specials features attached with the purchase takes between 3-7 business days to unlock for players
Upgrades still take 3-7 business days. But whatever they got my money already wont get another 30 bucks from me.
Have a good day.
Perhaps, the CS Team was referring to ‘upgrading’ a Play4Free account. I can assure you, I, and others, did not have any restrictions placed on our accounts when we upgraded our paid account to Heart of Thorns.
No, what?
I did not challenge the fact that the CS Team suggested you post on the forums. I am aware that when there are issues they have no control over they suggest one post on the forums. I am saying that posting on the forums, no matter where the suggestion came from, is unlikely to instigate a change in the policy, especially when said policy is for the betterment of the game, even though it creates a short inconvenience to some players.
Again, good luck.

It’s possible to submit a ticket for Guild Wars issues via the ‘Support’ link above/below. (There’s even an option in the drop-down menu for Guild Wars [One]).
Good luck.
So far I’ve only completed episode 5 on 1 character and it seems that is the only character M.O.X. shows up for in home instances.
From the looks of things, he seems to show up for only characters that have completed the episode, so it’s not an account-wide addition to your home instance like the millions of freaking cats I’ve collected. And that just sucks. I’m working on my necromancer now who is only in chapter 2 of the personal story, so it’s gonna be a while before I get into any living world/HoT content.
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/M.O.X.
The wiki says:After the player has completed the story instance Heart of the Volcano, M.O.X. appears in the player’s home instance and allows the player to play music from the original Guild Wars game.
It makes no mention that he only shows up for characters that have completed the episode, which seems to be the case.
I’m posting this here because I’m not sure it’s a bug. It would be nice if we only had to do the episode once for him to be added for all characters on our accounts.
Feel free to add that to the Wiki. The Wiki is, after all, updated and maintained by the playerbase, almost exclusively.
Good luck.
Getting game to run on an old computer

You could ask the Tech CS Team, but it might be the graphics card, and not enough RAM, as well.
Good luck.
I’m not sure what you mean by ‘getting more stuff from unmaxed guilds than maxed guilds’. The higher the tier, the more one can gather.
And, I mean ‘intended’, as it is working as expected by the Devs. It’s not a bug. The post is here on the forums; it may have been Dara or McKenna. I think it was posted back closer to Guild Hall/HoT launch; there may have been another post, again, in the past few months (not sure about that one – or I might have seen that on Reddit, though not as likely, as I only look at Reddit when there is a link to it from the forum here).
If they have the same upgrade level, you can only harvest one. For a while it was possible to harvest both if they were at different upgrade levels for the synthesizers.
It’s not impossible that was fixed, since it wasn’t particularly intended as evidenced by the fact that the same tier of harvesting nodes in the hall can only be gathered once a day.
It’s not a bug, and was intended to work this way. If desired, you can Google the Dev posts about this issue. (Or check the Wiki – there may be a link to it/them there.)
Good luck.
Can I get my bundle refunded into gems?
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Inculpatus cedo.9234
You may not be able to get a refund (in Gems) if any item is unlocked in the Wardrobe.
Worth a try, but don’t be surprised if they can not accommodate your request.
Good luck.
Edit: It would be the ‘Gem Refund’ option.
I didn’t ‘Add to Collection’ when I did it, and all showed up. Perhaps, it was when double-clicking; I don’t remember, it’s been so long ago.
Hmm. Mine says 80% of the Tier, and x amount of the Total. Maybe try fiddling with the options?
You can contact the Tech CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Good luck.
If one peruses the Wiki carefully, one can find a ‘cheese’ way to unlock Ancient Magics (without acquiring the first/second Episode). This method may be ‘fixed’ once known to the Devs (if it is not already known and approved of).
Good luck.
Perhaps, the OP should be championing for an Infantile Mode, rather than a Challenge Mode. Since it seems most responders do not feel the need for a Challenge Mode. /shrug
Good luck.
Trial and error? Isn’t that how Mystic Forge recipes are found?
Thankfully, I never rushed at maximizing my Luck. I’m sure it must feel like hitting the Achievement Point cap. Bummer.

If one had been salvaging the materials from the Home Instance as one gathered them, there would not be ‘two stacks’, no?
Personally, I have salvaged stacks of Blood Rubies for Unbound Magic. It was not an issue for me. Of course, ymmv.
Regardless, salvaging as one gathers in the Home Instance negates much of any issue.
Good luck.

It takes me no more time to salvage the 3 mats from each Home Instance node than it takes to gather them. Actually, probably less time.
Perhaps, with time, they will have a ‘consume-all’ (salvage) type of feature, just like Snowflakes.
It would probably be difficult to earn a Nobel Prize for MMO story-telling. Though, there may be a different award to be won.
There’s always the ‘Community Creations’ sub-forum. Anything posted there gives ArenaNet rights to use in the game.
Good luck.

It seems that these items were some of the most requested in the thread that asked for players’ opinion on what should be included in Material Storage (not Wallet).
Thus, I would guess, that is why we see them there now.
Are there any crafting materials included in the Wallet? Perhaps, the Crafting mechanic can not recognize items stored there.
Your son can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.

I prefer Season 1 to all others. I liked Season Two the least. Season 3 is okay. Looking forward to Season 4.
It’s fine. How are you doing? ; )
I’m with Fleshie; I don’t really feel motivated to try for Achievement Points anymore. It will probably take me a year or two to get to the next chest. I think the Devs should reconsider the whole Achievement reward system, now that so many have maxed out (on the cap).
I don’t believe you will be awarded Spirit Shards for leveling up after 80 until you have maxed all the Mastery tracks for either Core or Heart of Thorns (depending on the region you are in when you level-up again).
You will, however, receive Spirit Shards as occasional drops, and from other sources.
Welcome to Tyria, and good luck.
More than likely. It is just a matter of time.
Good luck.
Pretty much that, on the community address back when HoT was announced, you guys said:
“In the future, if we release further Guild Wars 2 expansions, we plan to offer all of the prior expansions, the core game, and the latest expansion for one single purchase price.”
Are you guys going to do that with the new expansion???
Thanks in advance!!
Source:
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/pre-purchase-community-address/
Well, this would be the ‘further expansion’; there have been no others. Thus, I would guess that the policy still stands. Still, only time will tell.
Good luck.
^I’m not finding that in the ‘Shop’. Are you sure you can purchase Living World Seasons/Episodes outside the Gem Store (other than in the Story Journal)?
This was suggested a million times at launch, and died down over time.
But so far as I remember the developers have made no indication they intend to make this change, nor have they made any justification for why it shouldn’t be made. It seems like such an obvious quality of life change that I can’t even fathom why the game didn’t launch that way.
If you are referring to the Content Guide, I don’t think any changes were requested at launch as the Content Guide did not appear until September of 2014’s Feature Pack with the New Player Experience.
