Agreed. I now have 12 of these scrolls, and 9 toons already at lvl 80. I’d just like something useful. Even a 1 scroll for 1 tome of knowledge would be somewhat useful. At least the scroll for 5 skill points is useful.

That would be nice. The more account based shared resources the better. I have 9 toons and play 3 of them very regularly. Would be nice if they can all share resources without having to load to a city map just for the bank (the wallet addition was a great first step)

One and only reason why legendary armors will not happen is Black Lion Trading Post.
You know, once every month or 2 we get new armors for gems. Since gems are expensive for buying them for gold, most people just spit 10-15 € and get it that way. Players “happy”, Anet even happier.
And for as long as Anet has any decent profit from releasing gemstore armors, we will not see any decent ingame armors to obtain.Simple economy trick. So if you are waiting for legendary armor, don’t hold your breath, it ain’t gonna happen any time soon.
This doesn’t mean they don’t do like they did with the ascended armor. Make it ugly as sin and then people get for status as well as changeable stats, but buy new skins to cover up the ugliness.

You use that word (impossible), though I’m not entirely sure you understand it’s meaning. The fact that at least one person is running around with one of the new kites proves it is not impossible.
That said, the drop rate is likely on the table with the exotics. Therefore when you open a chest the table determines if you get an exotic (which is very rare) then determines which exotic within that table you get (the kite being but one option).

Did you notice the lights went out and there was a switching noise. Like somebody flipped off a circuit breaker. Figure it was done for dramatic effect of the video, but for a bio-illuminated setting was kinda…off.

I just love that he came in uninvited (well Pale Tree mentioned it to him). The player didn’t even think to involve the group of which he is the Commander and took down a dragon. I mean really?!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a Trahearne fan, but why wouldn’t our character think to go to them immediately once it was determined to truly be a dragon influence. As second in command, you’d think we’d have plenty of influence to muster a force to start taking action!

It won’t be even if only because not every class ckittene GS and therefore offering it as the reward would be useless to those who only play classes that don’t use the GS. There has never been a class exclusive in game reward before, don’t think we’ll see one now.

I noticed that this has become worse since the recent patches. To the point where I’ve stopped running focus as a primary weapon set. Before he would stand there, or chase his foe once in a while (annoying but manageable). However recently it seems to happen nearly half the time for me. It is getting very annoying, especially since I’ve been running mesmer since beta releases and have enjoyed the focus item much of that time.

So, I completed this entire mission on a replay (finished the story of course) and never touched a console. It took a while, but in the end, I received the message that the mission was successfully completed, however I did not get the achievement. I waited until the very end and as I said never even touched a console. Killed countless mobs (no loot of course) and was very annoyed by the fact the achievement was not awarded.

I think it has to do with Kas’ background in nobility. Not exactly sure of the details, but I’m convinced it is that more than anything. Something is up and Jory is afraid of what would happen if her family and/or Kas found out.

I was a little concerned by the text responses our character says at the top of the conversation. They go something like this.
“I should see the pale tree”
“That’s great….I`ll do that after I see the pale tree”
“Once we are done I can see the pale tree”
“Yes, that’s why we need to see the pale tree”.It struck me as a bit obsessed.
I thought the exact same thing. Just wanted to tell my sylvari to just shut up about it and go do it. As a side note, didn’t like that they said my hair stood up, made me question their intelligence. I’m a sylvari with a mushroom head. I don’t have hair, or even leaves for that matter that look like hair. What the hell were they talking about?!

The new vid shows a giant. Granted it is just one, but based on the fact that one of the extremely few places giants can be found is Brisban and the vid specifically shows at least one, I think it is safe to assume there will be giant mobs. Hopefully Anet has listened to our please to give us more of them to kill. I’m excited.

At least the code seems to think this is the case. The daily for today is Maguuma Killer, however kills done in Dry Top do not count. That is rather annoying to say the least.

There have been indications of this in the TA explorable dungeon stories. Both TA up and TA Forward feature Nightmare courtiers that become crazy as they fight for power. Leurant, one of the courtiers, said it best in the TA Forward Dungeon path, “The first lesson in war is to wipe out your enemy. And that includes generals and foot soldiers alike.” Next time you’re in the dungeon, watch the scenes involving Fyonna and Vevina (TA up path) and Leurant and Fyonna (TA forward path). Their actions are similar to Aerin’s actions.
It could be that power to a Sylvari is like hormones to humans. In real life, teens can become aggressive or emotional when they enter puberty. Oftentimes, there is a human mentor that can guide them through that stage of life. When there is no mentor, the teen can easily become a delinquent. Sylvari, on the other hand, don’t have any mentors that can help them when they’re exposed to power. Sadly, the Pale Tree herself recently admitted to not having enough life experience, so she’s no help in this situation. When you have time, have your Sylvari character go to the Pale Tree and ask her about the elder dragons.
I’m aware of Sylvari being new race that yet to understand much of the world but their case was a bit different.
It seems both Scarlet and Aerin had something in their heads talking to them ever since they were exposed to that energy. You’ll get more about Scarlet’s change into what she becomes in S1 Living Story if you stay behind with Tiami long enough, the hologram of Scarlet mention the events that took place before her role in S1. So far hints are pointing to the source of that strange energy being the voice in their heads that is showing them the Truth.
To add to this, all the Sylvari that have fallen to this are the ones who reject the Pale Tree (this case being a Soundless). I suspect (as many before me) that the Pale Tree offers a protection to them and when that protection is removed and they are exposed to Dragon energy (I’m thinking Mordromoth specifically) they are driven mad like this. The reason we are seeing Arin (sp) fall now is because Mordromoth is waking and getting stronger.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Soundless start falling more and more throughout this LS season.

We are about to go into Maguuma, that is where we find the one set of giants in the game (main one at least). I’d be willing to bet gold that they will add giants to this region.

1. Ele creates lots of fire fields and Warrior can use them well. That is a good combo.
2. Gaurdian works will with just about anything. Everybody loves getting those boons.
3. You can play together in the story, but it will only progress the person who started it. So yes, you can play together. My suggestion is that you two choose different races, or at least different paths so that the first 20 levels of story are different. Then choose different orders so the next 10 or so are different. After that, it is mostly the same story but you can choose different missions. If you do this, doing the story twice (once for her and once for you) won’t be so bad.

How about having gs3 a channeled teleport?
Functions
- stack might (or protection) on allies every pulse at the target location as you channel the skill
- strip boon on foes every pulse as you channel the skill
- or, break the channel anytime and teleport to the target location applying confusion on exit on your foes
This will give the skill it’s dual nature where it’s good for you and bad for your foes, as well as ability to use the skill in combat both offensively and defensively, and as a utility both in and out of combat. Just like the Focus 4 skill.

If you’ve logged in then you’ve very likely played it anyway. The typical Living Story update can be seen in its entirety after 1-2 hours. After that you’re just grinding out enemies or mini games for rewards.So many people have been saying, “I wanted to play such and such update of season 1 but I was too busy to play for more than like 5 minutes in the last two weeks”. This is for them and it’s a very welcome addition. I am going on vacation on the 28th until the 16th of next month. I will have to pay gems and am 100% absolutely stoked that I will get to play this as opposed to Season One where I would have missed out entirely. That is who the Journal is for.
And what if you can’t log in AT ALL? What if you go on vacation, travel for work/friends/family, take a break from the game, are a new player completely, too busy with other things in general?

The fact that EotM is a karma/loot train discourages worlds from playing/fighting. Heck my guild occasionally goes there for WvW practice and we get all sorts of hate because we engage enemy player zergs. It is funny when 10 people completely wipe a group of 30-50 people, but it gets boring after a while.

It is in the original post. One sentence states she may be gone “for now…” “For now” has an implication that it is a temp. state in the English language. This isn’t to say she is definitely coming back, perhaps they just chose odd language in that sentence, however that is what the discussion is revolving around.

I don’t believe Scarlet escaped. It seemed pretty final that we did kill her. The phrasing here supports that “in her final moments,” but that doesn’t mean that we know everything either. There could be points later in the story where we discover things she’s done or things she set in motion while she was still alive. Thus the ‘out of the picture for now.’
This is what I’m hoping. Flashback moments or uncovered plots is fine. But she better not have been a clone, or regenerate, or have an evil robot twin, or be resurected, or anything like that.
