Any way to get another hotbar so we can stack items bought from NPCs out in Tyria?

This would prove a lot less clumsy than having to open your bags and double click to use.

Yes. But when a number of players are piling on in personal attacks it can only lead to a flame war. And what’s the point of that, other than creating drama?

Save the attacks for the borderlands. It’s a much better use of your time

More …. But can’t think at the moment …. Ideas?

I agree with Deniara Devious.3948’s opinions and believe they would greatly benefit this game, especially concerning points 2 and 3.

On previous interviews it’s been stated that dungeons are being reworked but nothing has been said about what this rework entails. A preview or more in-depth interview on the subject to gauge player’s opinions would probably be very productive to ensure what is released pleases the player-base.

I agree with this, but only if all players opinions were sought via an in game poll or similar.

Those who haunt the forums tend to represent such a small minority of the playerbase, and tend to be here for personal desires and agendas. I’ve seen more than one MMO make some pretty grevious changes because they implemented the changes based solely on feedback from a pretty vocal minority of players (who yell the loudest, etc) …. Only to create a hornets nest of angry reaction from players who disliked the changes and subsequently left the game.

The only way to gauge which direction to go safely is to include as many as possible in feedback. Making changes based on such a narrow window of feedback here, I fear, would be a mistake. Not that what’s being suggested here and other threads isn’t valid … There are some good points here … I’m just saying its probably best to get too much info/feedback than too little.

We need folks at all hours, don’t let the subject title fool you But maybe you’ll find something in this thread that will interest you in TC. (Today would be the day to do it because of the holiday, usually it’s hard to get on, but worth the effort, it really is a great server).

I still think the idea of the entire zerg lying down beside (or heck, even on top of!) the dead player is the best

Try about 7 am est … That’d be um any time between noon gmt and 1 pm gmt. My friend got lucky at that time and it honestly is such a great server it’s worth the effort.

I have also seen “openings” every day this week between 6pm and 7pm est (midnight gmt) for some reason and I suspect you’ll have luck on Christmas Day too with folks off with family etc….

Breakout events are being abused a little I think when the npc is spawned four or five times in a row. As I suggested in another similar thread, I suggest an hour cool down on the npc is probably fair and allows the attackers time to rally their troops.

Lol the worst is when there’s two breakout events on the same map at the same time, done this way.

Well last I heard he had been flying over JQBL when it happened. Gasp!

Odd. I’m on TC too and it’s extremely rare I’m in a zone and its not busy …. Even during the daytime when most servers are traditionally more quiet. I am always running into other players as I’m levelling up my second toon.

All characters get a starter 20 slot backpack. You cannot, however, transfer that backpack to other toons if you decide to delete it — it’s soulbound to the character.

I believe what he was referring to was something at launch that allowed you to save the stuff. I tried the backpack thing the other day and can confirm it doesn’t not transfer to other toons.

I watched 5g worth of upgraded siege disappear … poof. I had done a run to retick it not 15 minutes before and when I lapped back around again, it was all gone.

I cried.

The NPC commander can hit in one swipe for more than 15K. It’d be pretty slanted/unfair if he was completely unbeatable. As it stands now, he’s a tough nut to crack and it takes a heck of a lot of damage before he’s down. Cap that with invincible bubbles over the siege that gets placed and well, it’s an uphill climb. It’s good that coordinated effort CAN take him down, but I do think it’s a bit unfair that he can just be respawned over and over and over and over … there should be some kind of timer on his reboot — an hour seems fair to me, gives the opposing team time to rally their troops too.

It wasn’t easy lol .. at one point the NPC commander glitched inside our tower … It became more of a nuisance than a challenge. It would have been more rewarding to fight just the players, not a NPC.

I think breakout events should be limited to once per hour .. we had four waves of it, one after the other after the other, on TCBL the other day … after burning it down the third time we all just started laughing when it popped not 5 minutes later …. again.

Some servers are nice enough to let you go in and get your vistas and POIs if you are alone or /sit or /wave when you approach alone.

Hello to all of SOR, TC, and BG. First off I would like to apologize for my less than kind words yesterday, I am truly sorry. The highest priority of myself, and all of ICoa, is to maintain a respectful and fun atmosphere for us all to enjoy playing in. For those who may have missed my previous introduction, I am ICoa’s new Relations Officer. One of my responsibilities is monitoring and responding to posts and messages on the forums regarding ICoa specifically, and Blackgate in general, as we want to uphold a certain presitge, and not just only for ICoa. I would like to thank those who assisted in the enlightenment, accusation, and confirmation of the unfortunate events that occurred 3 weeks ago. With that being said, it was 3 weeks ago so please drop that issue. I would ask for a more mature environment here on the forums. False accusations, things you “may” have seen, and any other form of trolling/flaming should not be taken lightly. Let us work together to make these weekly matchups the best experience possible for everyone involved. By all means, if you have video of ANY Blackgate Defender cheating/hacking/what you will, please contact guild management or post if you feel it necessary. ICoa does NOT condone such acts and does NOT want those types of players representing our guild and would appreciate any assistance in catching anyone involved in such activities. But if you do not have video, please do us ALL a favor and refrain from posting about an unverifiable act. I appreciate this post. It takes a lot of character to come back and admit a wrong and then attempt to correct it.

It’s great that ICoa is making efforts to create harmony and smooth things over with a position such as yours (more guilds should do this), but you have to realize the bulk of PR is a thankless job. You have to be almost superhuman and can never react in any negative fashion, particularly with that job title. The job of PR is to smooth out querulous issues and spin them into something positive without stepping into the muck yourself. While others can behave in a less than adult fashion, you never can.

I would suggest if you find yourself getting ticked off by something that’s said, yes even about you, that you step back from the computer, go get something to eat or take a walk around the block before posting. Then use your talents to write up a mature response to any allegation — in the case of hacking/exploits explaining the steps you’ve taken to sort things out and what you’ve discovered, without any finger pointing.

I’ve spent 20 years on the other side of PR, but I have friends who are in the industry. They put on a brave face to the public, and then rant about the issues privately to their friends. I’ve never seen any one of them loose their cool in public — perhaps that’s key to their success. Good luck with the new job.

Try deleting your local.dat file in Documents>GW2 folder …. It’s supposed to be for your settings (you’ll have to readjust after) … But for some reason it grows in size daily …. My guildie was having same issues (and crashes) and this fixed it for her. Hope it does for you too.

Seriously, though, you should get auto rezzed at your spawn after being completely dead.

Or the whole. Zerg lies down next to the dead player? TC would do something like this! I’ll suggest it next time I’m playing. Think it would prove quite amusing

I think most of the time, at least for me, if I’m wiped I take the opportunity to go for a bathroom break or get something to drink. Nothing nefarious, just taking an afk.

What about if using stealth reduces run speed by 15% or something like that?
