It does pop up when you go to enter … you must be bugged .. said recommends 5 players. We did it with three, not as uber as you soloers, but we had a good time
I was always always always a healer in all MMO’s I played. So when I researched classes for GW2, I picked an elementalist, because aside from guardians, they were considered the “healers” … maybe try one of those two classes? You can heal your group mates with them.
Just wanted to drop a short note to say that me and two guildies trio’d this zone and had a blast! We’re looking forward to the next ones in subsequent days. Really loved this zone more than the Halloween one .. kudos!
Y’know, this is probably the only MMO I’ve ever played where I don’t mind dying so much. You die, you get up, you go at it again. Aside from some copper for armour repairs, it’s pretty inconsequential. Folks need to get over this.
I had a guildie tell me about doing a dungeon run and this one player died ONCE … and he left the group because he was so upset, leaving them a man short. I don’t understand this mentality.
Have to commend CD players at Faithleap who bowed instead of laughed after they took our small group out. Was refreshing to see. Thank you for setting the example.
Perhaps for April Fool’s Day, if you drink a ruminant tonic, you are able to summon all the doylaks in the map to come stampeding in and stomp on your enemy. And by stomp I mean big, comical, jumping pounces up and down on the back of an enemy you knock down, until dead.

Doesn’t really matter much. Folks tend to work with one or two favourites because they’re proven and are trusted. And they tell their friends who’s best to follow, etc…
That’s not to say there isn’t room for more, but only time and track record determines whether to follow or not. It’s like a vetting process I guess.

It was in the Chamber of Secrets (or whatever it was called). Which is stupid, because that POI does not count towards 100% the area it is in; why should it count towards World Completion?
Once you zone in, you get the auto complete map xp ding for it. It appears to consider itself a map of its own.
I think 18 kids shot dead at an elementary school today has deflated any desire I had to argue about a dolyak. It’s over, time to move on. Everyone knows what happened and likely there will be fallout from it in the coming weeks.
But let’s try to avoid having yet another thread shut down.

I suggest those FAers ticked off by all this, direct their anger in the proper direction. Read the antagonistic responses from the perpetrators …. Then let your server know these guys pulled this nonsense and did nothing to help defend your borders in the aftermath (read the replies carefully, they avoid answering definitively). They basically stirred the pot and left the rest of you to clean up the mess.
As for any issue about moral terpitude ….. Those were my observations. I don’t speak for my server as a whole. Nobody does.
…..But apparently the actions of a few FA speak for our whole server though.
I see your point. But I’m just typing here … Not shooting unarmed players as they participated in a peaceful event …. Everyone will have a view on this …. Each equally valid. But those members of your community who did this at a very publically advertised event should be questioned …. Particularly after they came into the thread to gloat about killing essentially unarmed players.
Also, I’ll try to explain to the 95% of the population on FA who wasn’t involved in disrupting the event why the other two servers are coordinating such a hard grudge. I’m sure they’ll understand.
Go read this thread carefully before it’s gone and see which two guilds were involved …. I am very sorry you’re getting the short end of the stick on this, we had some lovely FA folks in the dolyak walk …. But te two guilds who did this have A: admitted to it, B: came into the thread to further antagonize …. So you can thank them for the reaction from both cd and TC on your map …. I suspect ths pattern will continue into the next week, if not longer …. Players on your server should know why.

Maybe you missed it, but there was a queue. It does hurt that randoms didn’t see us defend though. I promise i’ll be there next time I get to kitten off roleplayers.

We are mostly an eastern time zone guild so I am so very sorry that that we usually log off at 11:30 or so most nights.

Did pvp happen in a pvp zone? Think I’m having flashbacks of crying about people getting killed in the jump puzzle.

I had no part of it, nor was I there to do any crashing regardless as I wasn’t even in the BL at the time. It’s still a valid point- openly posting things and having events in W3 areas is just asking for trouble.
Eh, there were enough people from mixed servers to get it right. It wasn’t something completely unfathomable to grasp and was supposed to be as one poster so eloquently stated, a Christmas truce .. a way of showing respect for each other after a rather intense week of rivalry. It was openly posted so folks WOULD know about it. Y’know?
And if you read the nonesense being posted by the perpetrators, well you get a pretty good idea of their moral character — so I suppose in a way you are right. It should have been expected. But I guess I was assuming we were all adults.
1. We were aware you were doing this at about 7pm EST. I was quite clear with the FA rep that PD would not be participating and if we were in the area we would be killing any red named person in our way.
2. At the time of your ‘gathering’, we wanted the southern supply camp and killed whomever we could to gain that objective.
3. 15 minutes prior to your parade hitting the ruins, we had just cleared 20 TC with siege off the island and had set up our own ballistas.
4. It was really fun to shoot you all and get loot.
5. When Online messaged me to ask me to stop, we did and I even escorted the remaining dolyak and eagle to briar, saluted and went on about my business.
I honestly don’t give a single kitten if TC and CD want to team up on FA. I really, really don’t.

Lol maybe TC and CD should camp every map’s jp then as an ongoing thing for weeks to come. TC has enough bodies to ensure a FA never gets through. Just a thought
Despite the noncooperation of a lot of FA people that-don’t-read-the-forums and/or hate-yaks a very very reduced yak parade did safely get the yak through. The yak will no doubt suffer from depression due to missing the fireworks but maybe an artificer can whip up some medication to help it cope.
sadly I missed the yak farm, but you guys are just as bad as the people who complain about fighting in the jumping puzzle. It is WvW, the point of which is to kill your enemies. There are plenty of pve events where you could have went to walk dolyaks without getting attacked.
You’re missing the point entirely. A player from CD wrote something that amused and inspired us all, and players from not just her home server, but other servers, loved what she wrote too. So it was agreed upon that this event would be held. This was about showing honour, being as good as your word, and representing your server. And if your word means nothing, then … well you can connect the dots.
