Really stuck and can’t win more than 2 matches in a row then hit another losing streak
I’ll never be out of emerald. Got within 1 pip of the next tier, now back to 0 pips and wasted everything!

There is something worse than losing streak.
Try being 2 pips away from next division and having;
Win-win-lose-lose-win-lose-lose-lose-win-lose-win-win-lose-win-lose-win-lose-lose-win-win-win-lose……
That happened to me yesterday – it was so annoying omg!
At least your winning some 8 loses and 2 wins for me in the last 10
Need help ending losing streak and improving. This was my last match, was on the red team. Our personal scores were much better but we still lost by alot! With my score being 210
It was battle of Kyhlo.
They need to sort out matchmaking, and maybe keep track of individual performance as well as team performance so if do get stuck losing you could maybe still advance pips based on your performance.
Playing a certain amount of games won’t determine your skill level.

In Emerald as well, having major trouble in constant losing streak,
Think I am playing okay, and getting better but hate all the losing streaks at the minute, and even if i get lucky and win match, then just end up losing all the earnt pips.
Is there somewhere to meet people for setting up a team.

Repairing the client seems to have helped.
This is happening to me as well.

I got this too. Queuing for a match, then the queue disappeared, and it said I got dishonor.
Nothing to do with me, unfair to give dishonour to everyone!
Please revamp the fire elemental and jungle wurm a bit, like some of the others which has helped improve them alot.
The fights are over way to fast, especially for the fire elemental right now, and they could be much better.
15 minute pre, and then it’s dead in less than a minute it seems.
Just increase the health bar like Behe would be a start!

The one and only time I got a precursor (worth about 300g at that time) was about 2 years ago.

THAT WAS THE LAST TIME I WHOOPED WITH JOY OVER A LOOT.
ever since then, I’ve never gotten a loot drop that was worth more than 50 gold.
The drop rate for valuables is really sad.When was the last time you actually felt thrilled playing PvE?
I got introduced to WvW and never looked back.
This is the only place in GW2 where I can feel thrilled.

You can now buy Glider combo’s for the black and white wings which includes the back back skin.
If you purchased just the back pack like the black wings for example could this be exchanged for the combo version?

Its great they are combined back pack and glider skin, and were not sold separately!

There is barely any multi-core support, and the game is CPU heavy, so your CPU is hardly going to be used. and the speed and 6 cores does not matter so much. The pentium D would probably run the game fine.
You could try unlimited FPS depending on your monitor.
Nothing in the January update so far.
Should be at least 3 slots for the harvesting tools!
It’s still year-end holidays for me. So I’ve been farming Winter Wonderland 12 hours a day, 3000 boxes a day. Used to make me 300g per day but now with falling prices, 200g.
I think I’ve farmed up a total of 6k gold already.
Plus my 30 stacks of Bags of Festive Materials, which should be worth around 1k gold.

You could keep the characters for the bday gifts, if they are nearing or over a year old?
But if you really don’t like them or have older characters then just delete them to free up space for a new character that you will enjoy playing.
New ugly clothing doesn’t seem to be in new presents at all
RESOLUTION: Since we seem to be coming out with character effects, please create a slot just for them. This can be put next to the outfit slot, and have it’s own hide/show checkbox. This would allow for many more armor combinations, and make character effects it’s own cosmetic item.

The base game should not be available to buy at all now. ANet should have asked retailers to withdraw this from sale but it’s still available as a stand alone purchase even though its free to play!

Some of the changes I can agree with, but shields are silly. – How is this meant to be an earth shield. And the fireball is a fire pebble now.

They did respond on Reddit. They said they are going forward with it because they’ve had comments of people not seeing anything, but they also understand it limits combat visibility.
Basically it makes no sense, they want to make combat easier to understand and they make invisible auras.
Pretty much this. If they would have just stopped about halfway it woulda been perfect. They took some changes too far though. No one should have to look silly using a skill i.e. ele fireball, aura, and chaos armor.

Thanks folks, I passed this discussion along to the folks driving the project on combat visibility.
Combat visibility in general isn’t driven by any sort of “esports” stuff though I realize that’s the easy out that’s cool thing to blame things on this week. Despite some of the insane assumptions I’ve seen lately, the PvP pro league is pretty much entirely a marketing team thing and has almost no impact on the dev team. Though we all think it’s really cool, and seriously some of those games monday were awesome!
From a marketing standpoint, it (and the ESL weekly cups and WTS tournaments before it) has been extremely successful so far, among the most successful projects our marketing team has ever launched to grow our title in the history of the Guild Wars franchise in return for the cost. If you don’t like it more power to you, don’t watch, but it’s absolutely helping our marketing folks make Gw2 a bigger game which I’d hope we’re all excited about. If you want to see the game fail I’m not sure what you’re doing here, but rooting against programs like pro league is basically rooting against Gw2 growing. When folks come here and rip on stuff like PvP, you’re basically hurting the games ability to grow – and personally I would say shame on you, if you truly love the game, be constructive and give awesome feedback and suggestions: but don’t knock it just cause it’s not PvE. And let’s be honest, it beats spending marketing funds on taxi confession ads or people spray painting wall cinematics if you ask me.
The reality about FX visibility is it’s consistent feedback we’ve had on every part of Gw2 for years that people can’t always see what’s going on in combat; our design, gameplay programming and FX team are putting a focus on resolving this issue together. This is most important in WvW and open world PvE where it’s the most problematic and where we need to solve this the most, though certainly impacts other parts of the game from Raids to Fractals to PvP.
Seeing what’s going on in combat isn’t a PvP problem – it’s a Gw2 problem, and it’s why our teams are trying to address it. I will say last time I saw the backlog of combat visibility cleanup work, the vast majority of stuff was along the lines of what you’re all suggesting below. More programming solutions at the systemic level and going after a lot of the side-FX like noise generated by other players rather than directly impacting your own FX 100% of the time. That’s the type of stuff you should be seeing in the future as this project ramps up, and looking at more options so you can opt into more noise if you want seems pretty logical. Along with that I imagine they will have opportunities to revisit some of the concerns raised here in relation to needing to see stuff that is important and how some FX have now become unreadable that should be, it’s (mostly) great constructive and totally fair feedback imho.
Colin does say you can opt in to more noise, but is that more particle effects or will they restore the visuals to pre nerf level?
Also Auras are much harder for everyone to see now. ^^
When your inventory was full – and you had unclaimed loot didn’t it use to deposit unclaimed loot right in your storage if it could be deposited?
Maybe post the name or picture of what weapons your looking at?
Could be from black lion tickets, gem store, ascended or legendaries.

In Colin’s post they said they wanted to add FX sliders, so why have they implemented these changes now? Should have waited and been launched with the slider!

Tbh I’m missing the old overflow system. At least that one had the main map and put all new joiners into a single overflow once main map filled, then another once that filled. All megaservers seems to do is have multiple instances and try to spread out the playerbase among them, instead of simply generating the necessary 1-2 maps and filling them. This is why people taxi, cause you can’t finish meta on 3 different MS with 30 players each, but you can finish meta in 1 MS with all 90 players together.
What they can do then then is reduce the amount of maps the mega server can create, which is something i remember them doing recently i think anyway? Maybe it needs further tweaking. Of course if people are constantly moving and joining maps it seems the megaserver could be confused.

Might not be a bug but recently there was several tree nodes around the Vale crossing WP including one near a bandit camp but now most are gone.
The only one I could find was on the ridge near the harpies.
