Greatsword can cleave up to 5 targets ?
for the Auto Attacks, 100b and WW.
and still no rings or Amulet.
i wonder what would be the grind for them ….. kill Elder dragon Mordremoth 900 times maybe ??!
why dont u go zerk amulet ? condition dmg is wasted since the removal of rifle AA bleed.
and you will get the needed vitality plus crit dmg although less crit chance 91% but still this is huge.
but also why you need this high crit chance on warrior ? if you really really wanted 100% then build for 80% crit chance and use fury which gives 20% crit chance.
maybe something like this
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQJAURjMd0FafHOewJaglg6cbPABg6roKKiUvAA-TZBEwAJeAA12fAxVAAwhAIbZAA
but anyway you will mostly get disappointed with rifle it has no place in pvp unless you wanna play it for fun.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_Ruined_City_of_Arah_Collector
“The total cost of this collection is 10,290 Shards of Zhaitan: 6150 for weapons and 4140 for armor.
This would take 172 runs of The Ruined City of Arah and require a minimum of 43 days to complete : this does not account drops from Bag of Wondrous Goods.
Acquiring all items via sPvP requires 8 full completions of the The Ruined City of Arah Dungeon Track.
This would result in 8 armor pieces, 24 weapons, and 1,920 Shards of Zhaitan with which the 10 cheapest armor pieces can be purchased.
Assuming two tiers of the track are completed each day, this would take 32 days to complete.”
all this grind for 1 piece of accessory ??!!!!!!!!
^^^
what about the amulet and rings ?
and what the hell is that grind that i need to do for an accessory, why not adding it to laurel vendor at least ill get to use my almost 300 laurels and +500 ectos, really Anet ?
its been more than a year since you introduced Assassin stat combinations for armor and exotic trinkets.
can we please get it also for our ascended trinkets (amulet, rings, accessories and back) ?
thank you.
Rytlock kills Kormir in the mist and absorbs her power.
just don’t jump, dodge the wind and keep running without jumping until the end of the Candy cane.
ditch the hammer get a GS.
move the 6 points in Tactics to Strength or Arms
maybe as a trap ?
idk but i dont think that i ever jumped on Candy cane, i just dodge at the wind part and simply keep running.
maybe try it without jumping.
^^^
thats one option.
you could also go ?/?/6/2/2 and still have 4 points to spend either in strength or Arms or even better ?/?/4/6/0 a beast shout heal warrior.
thats 3 builds on the fly, diversity brings it on.
try Rage+Force for GS
i guarantee you will never look back
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Final_Thrust
so basically this skill is “full adrenaline Axe Eviscerate” if your target is under 50% HP, even with this Eviscerate has better chances to pull off than Final Thrust.
+10k damage Eviscerate is so common.
(edited by Juba.8406)
well this suggestion will truly bring huge diversity to warrior builds, since it destroys one of the typical warrior chains (the basic 3 points in discipline).
and it fits warrior pretty well >> “Warriors are masters of weaponry” he should be master by nature no need to trait him for that
but i don’t really see ANet doing it :P
shield is fine.
if there is any need for improvement then i suggest merging (Missile Deflection) & (Shield Master) into One trait.
WvW achievements and titles needs a real looking at. its not even funny ANet.
Rytlock meets Kormir in the Mist ?
5th day no bladders.
im done, guess ill wait for the extractor.
is it me or there is a bug going on.
for the 3rd day on a row not even a single bladder dropped from these 2, i get always fangs from them!
on the other hand Teragriff & Husk are dropping bladders like no tomorrow.
anyone experiencing something like that ?
you didn’t put this in Meeting the Asura mission
Caithe Caaithe Caaaaaithe
Super thief so OP.
make Physical Training an Adept trait.
why would we want to do that?
physical utility skills are already quite lack luster and seldom used by warriors, i think we should buff physical training more so that it becomes grandmaster trait worthy.
then we can move berserker’s power down to master trait where it belongs, since adrenal is nerfed.
grandmaster ?! then none will use it.
why i want it in Adept because then it will get used, in Major you got better or conflicting traits:
- Distracting Strikes
- Slashing Power
- Axe Mastery
actually if we have Physical Training an Adept then we can use Distracting Strikes in major making them synergies better.

make Physical Training an Adept trait.
Here is my take on it: The master of peace had a plan to bring the egg to a place where it would weaken or hinder mordremoth (dragons and probably also their eggs consume magic after all so the plan is to cut mordremoth’s food supply somehow, remember how we did it with the mouth of zaithan). However he failed since the sneaky path he wanted to take was already blocked by the morderem, lying in his death throws he wanted to tell us the plan (one that caithe perfectly understood and saw comming) but caithe thought giving the details of that plan in one of mordremoth’s strongholds surounded by his minions listening might not be a good idea and neither would be discussing the matter, so she finished him and ran with the egg in her “troubled hero” style.
HOWEVER YOUR GOOD INTENTIONS SISTER DO NOT MATTER HERE, THE FREAKING EGG IS MINE, YOU DO NOT TAKE MY STUFF UNPUNISHED!
makes sense.
so we will end up with a new dragon (egg hatching) after mordremoth’s death, the new dragon will absorb mordremoth’s magic similar to what Teq did after Zaithan defeat.
Arcing slice is similar to Rush damage, do you get 12k rush ? i dont think so.
but in the other side its an awesome condi clear, 5 targets cleave and combined with SoR is a great way to keep high Fury up time.
well i guess i got lucky yesterday, got all the fangs i needed in 6 attempts.
intel on GS ?!!
use Rapid Fire its the new 100b.
ahh Opportunist such old times.
i used it before lyssa rune nerf, Opportunist was my only source of Fury.
but now if you intend to use Signet of Rage and you got a GS then i wouldn’t use it, SoR and Arcing Slice gives u almost perma Fury.
the only thing i hate is when Final thrust doesn’t crit, even with high crit chance it seems it has some internal less crit chance or something.
maybe give it 20% crit chance as basic on its own before benefiting from crit chance on gear, i think it will be great as you cant use intel sigil with sword as like what you do with Axe because Axe eviscerate got leap but Final Thrust got nothing and it need some sort of a set up.
Update: GOT IT! (just got it in fact lol). Glitching inside the rock is a short term fix, that does work – but this really needs fixing properly!
how did you do it please ?
Cool, let’s add more facts to the list:
- Even a small step in the terrain can obstruct it.
- Will hit only one target unless traited, so it may not hit the intended target.
- Won’t hit a thing if you don’t have a target.
- Can be reflected.
hmm so you want a wallhack, an autotarget and an Unblockable Rapid Fire ?
cool.
It seems that ppl should try to play the class before making assumptions

Well, you have quite a problem then, but not a proffesion problem, if you know what I mean.
my only problem is i cant 1v3 on my ranger yet, 1v2 is easy cake.
How would you redesign the weapons in this game that have “1 button burst” mechanics, like Warrior Greatsword and Ranger Longbow, to suit where you think gameplay needs to go to be balanced?
dude don’t you even dare to compare 100b to Rapid fire, realms and ages can be fit between the two, 100b feels so Stone Age to this new Rapid fire and it actually requires skill to setup properly.
i don’t have anything against rangers but putting these two skills in the same line is wrong.
…..Wrong tangent?
The design of the weapons is absolutely the exact same. Autoattack, burst skill, and the next 3 skills are mostly utility in function. The amount of setup or actual output is irrelevant. The weapon kits themselves have the same design ideology behind them, and they aren’t the only weapons in the game balanced around the “auto attack, 1 big damage skill, 3 utility functions,” I just cba to list the other weapons with the same exact design philosophy because it’s “another one of those threads.”
The point behind the question remains the same; how many buttons then should I have to press is pressing 1 isn’t acceptable? 2? 5+? etc? Who is determining what level of skill input goes into just pressing more buttons?
Not to mention that while their may be some correlation between the amount of buttons needed to be pressed and the amount of “skill” it takes to do so effectively, they are still independent events and can be largely attributed to other variables since skill means proficiency and the idea doesn’t exist only within the realm of Actions per Minute.
And that’s not even taking into account how subjective the idea of “actions per minute requirement implies difficult and skilled play” really is. I could think that elementalists and engineers are faceroll easy (I do actually, PvP meta thief/mesmer builds rank as the highest skill requirement builds currently imo), even though they have more buttons and skills they can press, so then we’re right back at clashing opinions with no measurable facts to be able support either argument.
Now, if everybody would like to talk warrior balance, that’s another thread entirely. Though I will just say flat out that I think that warriors were over-nerfed, especially in regards to how adrenaline degenerates out of combat so quickly and immediately. There is no reason why the “skill scenario” of a warrior holding their last burst of adrenaline at the end of a fight and then being able to carry that and already have full momentum in a nearby fight doesn’t exist, and it adds a level of play to warrior that otherwise makes the burst mechanic a very linear “start every fight slow and gain momentum” mechanic.
im not talking about the meta Warrior, meta warrior got no use for GS anyway.
if you do want a GS, then you want it mostly for mobility, but if you really want GS to be your main damage then you need to babysit 100b no way around it from trait investment to utilities to positioning and so much hustle to deliver a proper 100b.
compared to my range its just as simple as TAB then 2. with no utility investment at all so i can slot all utilities for just survival, GS warrior cant do that.
i haven’t been playing much lately since latest patch.
but as a power GS/Sw-Sh warrior i used to just kite them in initial 15-30s of the fight, they burn their cds trying to lock me and then i hit them hard.
It seems that ppl should try to play the class before making assumptions

Comparing melee skill with ranged is not ideal, that’s true. But saying that RF doesn’t need a setup to be landed is wrong too….
Take the facts, both are channeled abilities – check
Both are multi-hit abilities – check
Both can be easily countered when not set up properly – check
Both easily kill bad players – check
Melee does more dmg than ranged – checkWhere’s the problem then?
here ill make it easier for you :
- ranged can get it to 1500 range
- almost same cd
- faster cast time
- Combo Finisher
- 10 hits
- 10 stacks of Vulnerability
- can Pierce when traited
- it keeps tracking target
- does not root you while channeling
- easy to spam
- ZERO risk unlike setting 100b

Warrior is already there, actually its the biggest weakness of Warrior.
the funny thing is Axe AA can deal more damage than 100b, you don’t have to root yourself for it and it doesn’t require a setup.
the funnier is Ranger’s Rapid Fire, this thing is the new improved 100b
- ranged can get it to 1500 range

100b looks so Stone Age compared to this new Rapid Fire.
+1
yeah ANet you should really work on marketing, you have a really good game but to be honest you got one of the worst marketing.
just today i wanted to watch the TCG vs Boon final, i couldn’t find it on youtube or twitch highlight, the only way to see it is to go to twitch past recording and search it within the full 4 hours video.
but daaaaaaiiim.
these changes are nothing compared to what Engi is getting 0_o
hmmm 10 stacks of Vulnerability, not bad i guess.
the cool thing is the velocity increase on Tremor, i mean Tremor is already hard to notice and not so many players predict it because you know, its rare to face an off-hand Mace warrior, the 12% velocity increase will make it more deadly 1v1.
Tremor to me is already the best skill on game but there is still the issue if one target blocks it, it ends the wave…., the wave should still continues on until full range/targets cap reached, even of one of the targets blocks it.
HS QQ again, oh god -_-
ok how about a deal ???
make Anet adjusts Mending to heal for 8k and ill stop using Healing signet.
no ??
ok then, how about deleting healing signet but give us in return stealth, protection, regeneration, perma evade, water fields and shadowsteps ???
???
??
?
advice to OP, you have to look at the whole picture.
Beats some of the other gap closers. Rocket boots for example, is supposed to be a 900 range leap in the direction you are facing. As of now it will launch you 450 forward then pull a 180 and send you 450 back to where you started and facing the wrong direction…….Or 450 forward then a 90 degree turn to the right for 450. Or 450 forward, then a 90 degree to the left. In any of those cases it oten roots you in place at the end of the animation.
Swoop is supposed to go 1100 toward your target or the direction you are facing, but either goes 100 and stops, similarly to rush, and often rooting you in place. Or it will go through your foe and acts just like bulls charge.
To be honest, in my personal experience, Bulls charge works better then both of those. Rush on the other hand has the same problem as as swoop and RB in that it will often go a very short distance and stop. In the context of “gap closing” bulls charge seems the most reliable. Which is kind of pathetic.
Bulls charge should NEVER fail, a high cost skill 40s cd which just hit a single target, this huge investment should never fail.
you cant compare it to Rocket boots, AoE, 20s cd and combo finisher, that doesn’t mean that Rocket boots shouldn’t get fixed too, but means warrior is currently at a greater risk taking Bulls charge way more over an engi taking Rocket boots.
hi
i wanted to use some audio from the game in a video (some rp video)
the audio im looking for in particular is male norn saying “Aww my leg”
is there a way to get the mp3 or whatever files for audio ?
