i am talking about the mobility here didnt even mention about any kind of damage or other stuff.
and someone talked about mesmer/thief has better escape ability but thats different. thief burns up initiative and skills like shadowstep = 60 sec cool down and mesmer as well has long cd. but warriors? extremely short cd less than 30 sec and doesnt even burn up initiative like thief or long cd like mesmer. and that 25% sprint trait line make them viable to run fast without sacrifice any skill utility slot or doesnt force u to use 25% ms runes. its extremely unfair to warrior have all the mobility offence and defence stats as well. well ok i wouldnt give a kitten about anything about warrior but the mobility on warrior is insane. u guys are saying that mobility is needed to catch those thieves and mesmers but thats wrong. warrior shouldnt meant to out mobility these classess.

1) he is bad
2) you have 2 stun breaks and you used them all
3) his damage was weak maybe hes tanky or you were, my hits about 5k in zerk.
4) although missed most of his hits, he managed to hit you with a total of 7912 under rampage with new update that would be +19k almost all your HP, and with no stun breaks anymore he would have killed you if played decently.

We are talking about the mobility not dmg. If you want to compared dmg we should also say rush hits about 2times RTL dmg.
Rush = 634 * 1 = 634
RTL = 340 * 5 = 1700
And btw it hits perfectly since its an AoE skill.
Anyway, GS is one of the worst weapons for spvp warrior. 3 out of 5 skills are weak/easy to avoid. For pve and wvw rush is just a run away skill.
then why the QQ ?!
Rush + bulls charge is one of the few things that make us to keep up with heavy kiting professions like thief and mesmer.
If some warriors use it to escape then what about mesmers and thieves using stealth and teleports to escape ? should we nerf stealth & teleports because of that ?
BTW Bull’s Charge is 40s cooldown a single target skill, while engi Rocket boots is 20s cooldown, AoE, Blast finisher (can grant stealth) and Cures immobilized, crippled, and chilled…….. if thats not the perfect escape skill then i don’t know what that is.
I demand 20s cooldown for an AoE Bulls Charge, how about that ?

For GS/Sw, I would go 6 in defense to get Deflecting Missiles and you get Armored Attack by the way, thats +170 power.
I don’t think Leg Specialist that important for a GS/Sw set, you already got great mobility to stay in your enemy face most of the time unlike Hammer builds which it is so important there.
But anyway since you use +condi duration foods it might turn great, used to mess with such a thing with +100% condi duration, basically 2s immobilize for Leg Specialist & 8s from Flurry, combined with Sigil of Incapacitation & you got a bad day for your opponent but still the laugh would wear off fast and I’m back to full power builds.

I used to take 6 in Defense, but got a bit bored. Missile Deflection is nice and I do use it from time to time instead of DM, but the shield block is on a long duration so I find it to be very situational.
Leg Specialist actually opens up a lot of little combo’s, so I wouldn’t go without it (by choice). 100% condi duration, while funny, really is overkill.
Nonetheless, you are the authority on this spec, so thanks for the advice
next update there will be no Leg Specialist for you
And since we would pick Shield Mastery over dogged march also because Condi duration removed from trait lines, add brawler’s recovery, mending and we might drop Hoelbrak and even lemongrass food and go Strength runes.

Rampage currently is OP and cheese to bring in 1v1 fight, i remember one warrior that starts the fight with Rampage if he couldn’t kill his opponent before Rampage runs out he then just run away, this kind of warriors will be responsible of Future nerfs, God help us with next update +12k on every hit.

Can’t help but feel that if they moved Forceful Greatsword to the last trait line we’d have a more balanced situation similar to what we have currently.
Yeah and kill GS for other parts of the game.
I really hate that kind of suggestions because these who suggested them don’t take a moment or two to think about the consequences in PvP WvW.
I’m not a PvE guy and not that toxic.
But you really kittened me off when you considered a nerf to Forceful GS.

I mean Guardian is a defensive/support version of a Warrior yet it get a very offensive name.
Yes I know with the changes in the past 2 years, a guardian can out damage warrior and in last months we see warriors to be better at support, I won’t talk about that.
But how the game and through the names of professions gives you a feeling about them and their play style.
Guardian name is obvious, Guard/Support your allias.
Warrior in the opposite, gives the feeling in the face loose gun n smack kitten.
So if the Guard/Support profession gets the name “Dragon Hunter” a pretty “offensive” name, then what does his brother the warrior gets ? Dragon Slayer, Dragon Eater
I won’t say I don’t care for PvE.
I won’t say Nerf phalanx strength to the ground.
I won’t argue about how different Forceful GS work in PvP than your usual still mob.
But
How about you go to your ele or necro or whatever proffesion forum and QQ about their role in PvE instead of crying loud to Nerf other proffesions based on upcoming changes that hasn’t finalized yet ?

Since stats are going to get removed from our trait lines, shouldn’t these trinkets added by now ?
It’s been more than a year since Assassin was added to the game, yet most Ascended Assassin Trinkets & the Back Item are not available in game.
The only exception is the Accessory trinkets (Zhaitan’s Claw & DeLana’s Coinpurse) but it requires quite a grind to get (unlocking every weapon & armor skins in Arah & CM dungeons).
So when we gonna get those, ANET ?

Dogged march as a minor trait would be too much.
It’s in a good spot right now anyway. We don’t want to see every warrior being near immune to move impairs while reflecting projectiles and gaining insane amounts of might at the same time.
You can achieve this now with the current system.
Dogged march, Deflecting Missiles & Mighty Defenses.
BTW you Can NOT reflect missiles and gain might, gain might works on melee attacks blocked.

There are some traits that are very important to warrior almost class defining.
I call these traits “Black Holes”, because wherever you put them people will go after them.
A whole trait line would be picked for just one of these & if you make one a major trait the other 2 neighboring traits will simply Die.
Fast Hands is one of those, well i guess we should be thankful its still a Minor trait, so it doesn’t destroy the other 2 traits.
Cleansing Ire is too, not only will make you pick a whole trait line but will also destroy the other 2 neighboring traits.
And Warrior’s Sprint, imagine if this was in Arms trait line !! the horror, i guess we should be thankful for it sharing the same line as Fast Hands.
What do you think ?

Disagree with Final Thrust change.
Final Thrust is fine currently, you chopped 5s off the CD for no apparent reason.
BTW i use Final Thrust even on full health targets still does decent damage.

With the new Forceful GS + Zerk power, 100b is back as (Hard/risky to setup But High rewarding skill), please no more damage nerfs.

I know what it is
Clean ire, dogger march, sundering mace/defy pain/armored atk, spiked armor, shield mastery and thats all in one package. A way to go for every build leaving rest completely useless. Nop. Why you guys want to create op builds that will get nerfed into ground either way? Enough with this easy mode mentality already. These traits are placed this way with a good reason – to make choices.
And since defense line is about…defense it doesnt make much sense. That 5% damage reduction fits it way better.
You had to choose in Master, since Now there is no black hole Trait there called Cleansing Ire.
i still think the new thick skin (thick skin + Desperate power) is now better and it even makes Defy Pain good to couple with, 4s immunity with 20% more Damage.
Culling the Weak a bit dull, but GM traits are now better worth of a GM status, Last stand, Shield Master and Rousing Resilience.

there is no difference between a GM trait and an adept one if you are forced to take the whole line.
Fast Hands is our best trait but still a minor.
Combining Shield Traits was a demanded feature but putting it in the same tier as Dogged March is not, currently you could trait Dogged March > Cleansing Ire > Missile Deflection, But with the new system you cant pick an Adept trait in GM slot, thats why Dogged March needs to be moved or Shield Master moved to GM.
Also Cull the Weak is too Weak :P compared to Last Stand and Cleansing Ire, it would be better combined with Sundering Mace .

i wont mind making Shield Master a GM trait, although it would conflict with Sundering Mace.

Cleansing Ire could be a minor trait too, since almost every warrior is going to take it.
I just want to know if the new Berserker’s Power gives you the power boost when you use the Burst Skill, or it activates after you use.
I feel it’d be kind of pointless to say land an Eviscerate and THEN you get a 20% damage bonus activated, rather than Eviscerate also being affected by the bonus.
Axe Mastery would be much better in this case.
+10% crit all the the time (not for just 10s) since Axe AA is hitting hard plus + 2 adrenaline so you can use it more and you can make constant +20% crit if have another Axe off hand.
I think Berserker’s Power is best used for Sword/Mace/Hammer and LB, then chained by a 100b for example, Arcing Arrow will hit hard and hammer rotation will be devastating.

with the new system, what is the difference between an adept and a GM trait when you must take the “Whole Line” ? not like the current 14 trait points to spend where a GM cost you 6 points.
So, you want Dogged March, Spiked Armor, Adrenal Health, Shield Master, Cleansing Ire and Defy Pain/Rousing Reslience on Defense?

Also the Grandmasters in defense line for me are worthless, i would make Dogged March a Grandmaster and make Defy Pain an adept but Mace users are going to hang me.
so the work around is making Dogged March a minor trait.
BTW currently i run Dogged March > Cleansing Ire > Missile Deflection . so putting Shield master and Dogged march in same tier will break my current build.
There is another option, Cleansing Ire is the best trait in Defense line, and I’m pretty sure most warriors will pick it over the other 2 traits.
So how about making Cleansing Ire a Minor trait ? since every warrior is going to pick it.

if it heals for the current (Stage 3 heal: 9,820 (1.50)?)
and with Shout traits it will become @ 24s CD and it will heals more (1,480 (0.9))
so about 11300 @ 24s CD = 470 h/s !!
Sword was never good for power builds, when Final Thrust was added this it a hybrid weapon at best.
Yeah when you have an attack that equals full adrenaline Eviscerate its Power viable, currently power sword warrior can beat Axe warrior easy.
even off-hand sword work great on power builds.

most roaming builds got no access to swiftness unless you want to use SoR for that which is a big waste.
Mesmer getting +33% speed (swiftness) passive on one of their skills (Signet of inspiration).
Per ANET description it should be baseline.

Mending is a Physical skill get over it and here to stay, i don’t know why ppl want it as shout so badly when that build is already strong against condi.
