I think the OP is referencing that argument over a real life dress color that has been spreading around the Internet.

Anet has stated in the past that they do not get involved in guild issues. They may not even have the tools to restore a guild. I forget what they have said about this in the past. Unfortunately I think you are out of luck.

Anet does not get involved in guild issues. You allowed the guild member access to your bank so technically he didn’t steal from your guild. It is a bummer the person did that but there really isn’t anything you can do.

You should have it in your email unless of course you deleted the email. Also, you don’t necessarily need the serial code to submit a ticket. It isn’t a required field.

I’m not sure what you mean? Key farming these days requires at least leveling to 10. At that point I guess it depends on how often you want to L10 an alt and do it.

Make sure you select the drop down menu under “Specific Issue”. That is often over looked and can cause the error you received.

If they are impersonating Anet staff I would guess the verbal abuse report would be the one to use. Although not actually verbal abuse it will get Anet to review the chat and action it if they see it as a violation.

Other than that your other option is to do a screen cap of the chat dialog and submit a support ticket under “In Game Issue” then for the drop down menu for specific issue select “Violation Report,” and send them all the info you have available.

Well that is the way to do it. Just keep going back and do a bit at a time. When you get burned out and annoyed take a break and check back another time. You can do it I’m sure. Just don’t try to do it all at once.

I bought my slots before they cost ~1000 gold for all bag and bank slots. Not sure about you, though.

A new player is also trying to get this thing called gear.

And a new player doesn’t necessarily need extra bank slots right away. I played for over 3 months or so before I decided I needed extra bank space. I geared up 4 characters in full exotics prior to that. I guess it comes down to inventory management and priorities, but some people don’t want to hear that due to the “all evil and greedy” gem store.

OP, I’d be interested to see a screen shot of your bank and all the valuable items in it. Maybe some of us can give you some advice how to clean it up a bit. We are a helpful bunch after all.

If you filled up your bank with a tiny fraction of stuff worth keeping that you received in the first 10 hours of play you are extremely lucky with drops. You would have received more keepable items in 10 hours than every player ever in GW2 . You should feel happy for that.

As a word of advise, you don’t have to put everything that drops in your bank. There are good resources for doing so. The trading post for one, you know sell that stuff! You can also salvage stuff and deposit the mats.

I can’t answer that. Usually first suspensions are 72 hours from what I have read here but can be longer for more extreme rule violations. Anet does not email players when they are suspended or banned.

Support should be able to let you know how long your suspension is. Although support is so busy your suspension might be over before you get a response.

It sounds like you were suspended and not banned if the message told you to wait for the suspension to expire. If that is the case it could have been something you said or did days ago. If you had been banned it would have said the action is permanent. If you have questions regarding this you will need to contact support by following the support link at the top of the page then the submit a request link located at the top right of that page.

This is the worst case of GW2 first world problems I’ve ever seem.

Let me impart economic wisdom onto you. you say you lost 200g by cutting it under to make the sale.

the truth is, you have not lost OR made any gold at all until you physically sell the item. Until you sell the item, you are at 0%profit(outside of getting the 2 legendary skins, which is a trade off for the mats and time). Even if you were to sell Eternity at 2000 gold, that’s 2000g you didn’t have before.

this might be useful in pve, where everything is telegraphed and static, but will be 95% useless in pvp(where people have issues with macros the most) in pvp, there is never 1 static rotation. everything is situational, so having a 1spam macro won’t help you.

So Mesmer’s are wanted? I just hit 80 with one and am deciding if I want to level another profession to main.

They are in several dungeon runs if you know how to play Mesmer. For example, if you run COF path 2 you are very welcomed if you know how to drop portal and to get past the boulders. Also Time Warp is a very welcome skill on bosses when stacking. Toss in the reflect skills if you know when and how to use them. Plus as a back up if you don’t have a Thief that can pop Shadow Refuge you can pop Mass Invis on your team when it is time to run past mobs.

If you just want to stand back and spam GS 1 in every dungeon then you most likely won’t be welcomed. I’ve never been kicked on my Mesmer. I find it great fun.

PvE Dungeons? Depends on the dungeon. But for most runs if you want a complete team:

Guard
Ele
Warrior
Mesmer
(Any other prof as long as you are not speed running.) (If dungeon = CM then Thief) otherwise another Guard or Warrior.

Just open world PvE, anything works.

Again, if the response to your ticket was not to your satisfaction you need to update it. People make mistakes, perhaps your original message was misinterpreted by he CS representative that read it. That said, if you are not going to listen to the people here trying to help you, good luck.

After you got the “copy and paste” reply from CS, did you update your ticket with more information by replying to the email they sent you? If so did you try to clarify the purpose of your support request? If not that is what you need to do. That is how you update a ticket, especially if the reply is not to your satisfaction.

I’m aware of how outfits work. I simply don’t care for them as explained above. Also I have many alts as well. Leveling is so fast I don’t worry about armor appearance until I hit 80. If you enjoy them that’s great. I just don’t have a use for them because I can’t mix and match.

If you think you have something to report such as that, then you need to continue your dialog with support by updating your ticket. That’s all you can do. CS can only use the information you provide them, however they will not share with you any actions taken against another account. Posting here about it will not result in anything.

To be honest, outfits were a bad idea. They breed uniformity and encourage a lack of creativity, when appearances should be custom-tailored. The fact that these skins cannot be mix-and-matched is more than enough to render them inferior to armor.

Except for the fact they don’t cost charges, and are account bound so you can wear them on all your alts at any lvl. And it’s a whole set, as opposed to pieces.

I prefer the gem store armor sets over outfits because I can mix and match them with other armor pieces to make a more custom look. They unlock in my wardrobe for any of my characters using the same armor weight. Transmutation charges are easy enough to come by. I won’t buy outfits because it is either all or nothing.

Sorry the game, an MMO at that, doesn’t fit what you want when it comes to solo play. However, I wouldn’t say the game is dying. It seems to be picking up steam with HoT on the horizon. Best of luck with whatever game you play next.

The money stays in your wallet. You can no longer deposit coin in your bank. However, you can start a personal guild bank and deposit coin in it.

No one can give you those stats aside from Anet and they don’t offer them up. The game is far from dying. The sale alone during the HoT announcement most likely brought in a lot of new players. Even before that the game is lively with a lot of people playing. With HoT on the horizon it is most likely to grow even more. I’m not sure what more you need to comfort you. You already bought and have the game, join in, have fun and don’t worry.
